Blood sighed for what seemed like the seventh time in three minutes. They've been walking for the last 6 days, taking small breaks here and there. He looked up at the sky before turning his blood red eyes to morn before sneeking a peak at sorrow.

"So, we're just gonna pretend like we don't know your mom's been following us for the last two hours?" Blood asked. On cue, konan jumped into the clearing in front of the small group.

Her eyes cold.

"I'm glad you all stopped by and said goodbye." She said. Morn frowned.

"i'm guessing tousan spilled the beans." Before morn was sent flying courtesy of a single paper sheet slamming into his face.

"Yes, yes he did." Sorrow gave a worried smiled, kaasan was always a little ticked when they went on missions without saying goodbye.

"You see Deva path wanted to leave right away and you was dealing with an intruder that wanted to get into the village and, wow look at the time. Let's go morn, blood. We're only 30 minutes away from the village." Sorrow Said quickly turning around.

"Hold it right there." Freezing in mid step sorrow sighed, turning around not even flinching when she saw morn back on his feet rubbing his red face.

"Listen you three, I know you all think this is going to be a walk in the park, and maybe it will be especially with blood and Deva path with you but don't get cocky. I won't interfere with your mission since I got to head back to Ame." Konan said looking down on the kids.

"But don't underestimate no one, and only try to capture the kyuubi, if you can. If no chance is given, don't take it. Just look into his or her skill and bring t back to the village." Before they could say anything konan broke apart and was carried away by the wind.

They all breathed in deeply.

"Let's go. Sorrow, morn, blood." Deva said. They were walking down a paved road and it wasn't long before they finally got to see the village gates. Blood sighed for what seemed like the 8th time. There was a line with a bunch of different team, from different villages.

"This fucking kid better be worth it, I hate being bored." Blood said. Morn nodded agreeing with him. Sorrow just ignore them as she was looking into the distance at a red haired kid with a tattoo on his head.

'Interesting.' She thought.

Naruto sighed as they finally jumped into the pavement that lead to the village. He heard mitsu words go over his head over and over again. Before shaking it off and raising a eyebrow at the long line.

"Either we're being invaded or Minato going crazy." Naruto said walking up to the line his hands no longer behind his head but on his side prepared to draw a kunai.

"Must be the Chunin exam check in." Kakashi said not taking his eye off his book.

"Chunin exam?" Sakura asked. Team 7 sighed. Nami took the honor upon herself to tutor the pink haired girl.

" it's a test to you take to see if you qualify to be a chunin." Nami said her nose raised.

"No fucking duh, I mean why is there a line. there never was one before." Sakura asked before dodging a incoming fist from Nami. Who was fuming at the nerve of the girl.

"Now, now girls be nice." Kakashi said looking up." She's right though, that is strange. This means everyone is being checked into the village. Which is strange but not unheard of." Kakashi said. Sasuke smirked people to test his skills against.

"I bet you 500,000 ryo Naruto, I'll beat you in these exams." Sasuke said turning his sharingan in Naruto direction. Naruto smirked.

" Your on."

They reached the line and stood behind three kids from Ame. They weren't much to look at especially since they wore long black cloaks.

"Ame is participating that's surprising. Hanzo hasn't sent a team in almost two decades." Sakura said. Surprising her team and causing the team in front of them to turn around and stare directly at her, the raven haired kid releasing a small amount of killing intent.

"You keep that up, you might not make it to check in." Sasuke said. Staring directly at the raven haired kid. Sasuke raised an eyebrow when he saw the blood red eyes

He didn't give it much thought. Their glares intensifying before the raven haired kid smiled and gave a small bow.

"Pleasure to meet you Konoha, shinobi. Sorry about that.I get a little irritated when that name is mentioned. Please refrain from doing so again or it will be you that wont get to check in to your own village and that will be a pity." The kid said still bowed. Sasuke frowned and took a step forward but was stopped by Nami who was staring at the blue haired girl.

"Don't start this here Sasuke. Plus, if there sensei can't keep his students in check it's no wonder Ame doesn't send anyone." Nami smirked at the jab but was a little annoyed the sensei didn't even bother turning around to acknowledge her.

Kakashi was still reading his book, his body tense ready to fight at any moment.

Sakura was scared, maybe they didn't feel it but that red eyed kid was still looking at her like he wanted to kill her and those eyes helped him prove his point, that he could and he would all he needed was a chance.

"Now, now let's not start off as enemies. My name is morn, and this is blood and sorrow. My brother and sister. They're just a little angry from the long trip, don't mind them." Morn said, a friendly smile on his face and his words instantly lighten the air as blood turned around.

Sasuke took the lead.

"My name is Sasuke Uchiha."

Sakura followed suit. "Sakura Haruno. " She said still a little shaken up.

"Nami Namikaze." She said proudly.

Kakashi gave a curt nod obviously not paying full attention.

Morn turned his eyes to naruto and was a little confused. The kid wasn't even looking at them. In fact he was looking up ahead at what he figured was the blue haired girl.

"And you are?" Morn asked.

Naruto looked over at the team infront of them. Before ignoring them.

" You should start moving, your team is up for check up." They looked forward and indeed they were the last two teams in the road.

Morn smiled.

"It was nice meeting you, I hope we meet in the near future." Some how Sakura felt like it was a better idea to stay away from them. Team seven walked up as well, waiting patiently as the Ame team checked in.

"Kakashi-dono, how was your mission?" Kotetsu said as he inspected their document.

"Pretty good I guess. I See you got your hands full here. "

Kotetsu sighed. "Yeah, ever since the fourth left on a mission and let jiraiya take over he's been making us check every single person that comes into the village. Even civilians!" Team 7 seven raised an eyebrow.

"How long has my father been gone?" Nami asked a little concerned.

"Give or take 4 weeks. I heard he's coming back today. No one really knows what happened, but we did get a group of Uzumaki that he freed from Iwa. They were prisoners I think he freed them with the help of your friend shikamaru father." Kotetsu finished.

The minute naruto heard Uzumaki glt freed he grabbed Sasuke shoulder and told him to take them home.

Nami did the same disappearing with a shushin. And Kakashi left in the direction of the hokage tower to brief the mission.

Sakura frowned as she saw she was alone again.

'I guess, I'm alone again.' Sakura said before beginning her walk home, she was in desperate need of a shower.

'Maybe they'll still let me train with them.' With that thought she raised her head and smiled. ' I can't wait to show Ino pig my new technique, that Sasuke taught her!'

Naruto broke into the living room

"Mommaaaaa I'm home! And what is this about more clan members found!."

Before him and Sasuke were brought into a humongous hug.

"Your killing us Kaasan,." Naruto managed to breath out. Kushina didn't seem to care as her face took on a wicked smile.

"So you like going away for weeks without sending even a messenger hawk to let your mother know that you wasn't killed by a group of missing ninja and ws dead in a ditch." Naruto and Sasuke paled they fucked up, and they were paying for it big time.

She looked at them up and down.

"YOU GUYS STINK. SHOWER NOW. ALL THREE OF YOU YES YOU TOO NAMI I SAW YOU!

Kushina smiled as she went over and grabbed her only daughter between her arms, she didn't give Nami the same treatment as the boys something they both grumbled about before a small amount of killing intent caused them to rush off to the bathroom.

"So how was the mission Nami-chan?" Kushina asked. Nami smiled.

"We'll it was suppose to be a C-rank but it got switched to an A - rank after a guy named gatou hired a couple ninjas including zabuza one of the 7 ninja swordsman of the mist. But we had Kakashi and naruto to help us so we came out pretty unscathed."

Kushina nodded.

"Ne, kasaan had anyone heard from tousan? I'm kind of worried he's been gone for so long with no communication with the village." Nami said head lowered. Kushina sighed, before she lifted Nami head up by her chin giving her a big foxy smile.

"I think you forgot how strong your dad is, he'll be here in no time whooping down Ramen and acting like nothing happened. He isn't the fourth hokage for nothing Nami-chan!" Kushina said, Nami eyes were open wide. That was the nicest thing her mom ever said about her dad! For just a second she saw the same look she saw in Minato so many times, when he spoke about Kushina love.

Nami nodded hugging her mom hard before grabbing her in a hug.

"Your right kasaan! Now imma go shower." Before she walked away a giant smile in her face.

Minato smiled as he dropped from the ceiling.

"If I Didn't Know any better, I'll assume you missed me." Kushina smirked.

"Don't let it get to your head sir." She continued her track to the kitchen where a group of cooks were preparing dinner. She walked passed them into a secret room that lead to her office. Followed by the blonde man.

"So your gone for 4 weeks and your first priority was to come bother me?" Kushina Said taking a seat.

"We'll that, and to see our kids. You sure look beautiful Kushina. " Minato said finally removing his mask and sitting down on the opposite side from her.

"Flattering. Anyways, how was it? I saw a team from Ame, you must've begged on your knees for Hanzo to let you do that." Minato shook his head.

"Actually. I didn't get to meet the guy. I wasn't even able to get close to the village before a woman in a cloak with blue hair stopped me. She said to turn around or risk dying." Kushina shook her head.

"Let me guess -" Before she was cut off.

"Correct, I choose to take the risk. After a small skirmish, more like me taking out the group of Jounin she finally agreed to listen. After I told her my side of the story she said she will relay it to pein. I asked her about Hanzo before she turned around and turned into paper and left." Minato said. Kushina Nodded.

"So Hanzo finally stepped down from power?" Minato shook his head.

"No, I think he was killed and that pein guy was responsible." Kushina was shocked.

"Isn't that information you should talk to jiraiya about?" Minato nodded.

"I already sent him a scroll and he sent his spy to check it out. I also went to mist. They are a lot more ahead then we thought and their Kage Mei Terumi-"

"You met Mei! How is she doing? Me and her have a little bit of history!" Kushina said. Minato blushed remembering the encounter something Kushina didn't miss, a small tick mark developing on her head.

"You know business as always. She accepted are treaty to become allies. gotta go now." Minato said standing up and ready to leave. Before he was pushed up against the wall his face locked in a kiss with Kushina. Before he realized what happen it was over.

"Don't think I don't know what happened between you and mei. Now leave my office I got things to do." Kushina said her head lowered hiding her blush.

Minato smiled walking out.

Kushina sighed, before looking out the window.

"Ugh! Stupid Mei!"

Minato contemplated over what just happend, before he felt a pull and frowned.

'Finally found out I was here.' Before he disappeared in a yellow flash appearing in front of jiraiya, who was by any means pleased.

"You should report back here after a mission." Jiraiya said. Minato nodded.

"I was kind of... side tracked. Anyways. I know the old guy sent a messenger hawk. What did he say?" Jiraiya frowned as being blown off so easy. Tossing him a scroll.

Minato read through it before sighing.

"I guess you have a solution." Looking up to find a frog in his mentor place with a sign that read.

'No,'

Minato smacked his head.

" I should've stayed in ame. The rain was way more enjoyable then this." Before he began to write down on a a scroll of his own before summoning a messenger hawk to deliver it.

"To think he was hiding anko this whole time. To bad I can't tell him I was the one that invaded his village smashed a couple of buildings, broke into their jail and cause a village wide panic in exchange for her." Minato said to himself.

"No, no you can't." Minato frowned turning around to face Danzou.

"Any reason as to why you're standing in my office?" Minato asked rudely.

"He wants to trade anko in exchange for information, and I have information he wants even more then knowing if the yellow flash was indeed involved in the incident."

Minato raised an eyebrow.

"And that is?" Danzou smirked.

"Why are you organizing this chunin exam in such a strange way." Minato shook his head.

"No way you know the reason behind that." Danzou nodded.

"That's why I'm here, for you can tell me. And I can 'leak' the information to him." Minato shook his head.

"No. Good try though. I already did something a lot more rational and less risky." Danzou looked at Minato with curiosity.

"Care to elaborate?" Minato shook his head.

"Don't think I forgot about the incident last month. While you showed your innocence I doubt your hands are completely clean. Now get out of my office. I got a chunin exam to finish planning."

Danzou anger spiked as a small sound of wood braking could be heard coming from his cane before he turned around and walked away.

"Like the show sensei?" Jiraiya came in through the window smiling and clapping his hands.

"So what did you come up with to get anko back? If you could of course, after all you kind of slacked on getting her back." Minato rubbed the back of his head nervous smile on his face.

"You see I kind of offered to give anko up in exchange for giving him something else a lot more valuable to him." Jiraiya nodded.

"What could that possibly be? After all anko does have village secrets and information."

"His only son."

Jiraiya stood in silence.

"Pretty sure Kushina killed him." Minato nodded.

"In her mind she did. In reality she caused massive lacerations. Good thing is Nanashi thought ahead of all of us and healed him. He's been kept in the interrogation room for the last couple of months."

Jiraiya nodded.

"But will he give up such a valuable negotiation tool for one soldier." Minato nodded.

"Of course he would. It's his son." Minato said in a matter of fact tone.

"And let's suppose this plan of yours fail. What will you do then?" Minato shrugged.

"I just came back sir let me breath." Jiraiya Sighed.

"I don't think your fit for the title of hokage."

"Me either, wanna trade?"

"No."

"Then stop being a smart ass and help me fix this shit!" Minato said.

Uzumaki residence.

Naruto just got out the shower. Everyone was ready down stairs thanks to Sasuke taking hour showers, and Nami had her own bathroom in her own room, that she barely used, that mom didn't let him take.

Sighing the blonde continues his path to the room.

'I think you know why mitsu told you those things. He wants to get in your head.'

'Sure as hell worked, he's on my head alright.' Naruto said back to the immortal inside him.

'At your power level going all out I doubt there's many kids in this exam that can challenge you.' Naruto shook his head.

'Sasuke pretty close, so is Nami.'

"Sasuke is being trained by my brother. I'm talking about the other genins.' Naruto took a minute

Placing those thoughts to the back of his mind Naruto walked down stairs his family talking and eating while smiling.

Ame nin

Blood, morn and sorrow through them self into the hotel room. They weren't kidding about being checked in and allowed to stay at the best of the best.

"So this is the Konoha hotel, said to be built from the wood of the first hokage." Morn said, touching the wood.

"You can basically feel the power coming from the walls. These Konoha ninja sure are amazing." Blood added on.

Sorrow looked around. It was a condo, 4 rooms for the four people allowed three genins one Jounin glass window that let you see into the village of Konoha, fully furnished.

Before a woman came from the kitchen.

"Anything you'll like to eat?"

"We got a fucking maid too!" Blood yelled. Sorrow smiled, she could enjoy this. That was until deva came into the room.

"No, you are dismissed ma'am." Causing all three genins to protest.

"Enough!" Causing all of them to quite down.

"You must of forgot the reason we're here. Sorrow your the main sensor, tell us who do you suspect." Sorrow nodded stepping forward.

"The red haired genin, he defiantly has a bijuu he was basically leaking his Chakra this could cause a problem as it could mean he has tapped into his bijuu." The other nodded. "But it was far from the power the 9 tails will release."

Pein nodded, she continued.

"Second the girl behind us that we had a conversation with was also letting out a weird kind of Chakra but it was so weak I could barely see or feel it, leading me to believe that she could be one."

Blood Jumped in.

"it's got to be her then! I got first dibs."Sorrow shook her head.

"There's more. The raven haired kid that threaten you was also giving off a similar aura but his was a lot colder and darker, not to mention an Uchiha who could control the nine tails fox, a perfect host." They stood silent.

"Continue." Pein stated.

"The pink hair girl is irrelevant. The Jounin sensei will be to old to be the host rule him out. But the blonde haired kid was puzzling. He was giving off a lot more energy then the other two but his was literally just regular chakra. He also ignored us, even when blood spiked his killing intent, which means he's confident he wasn't in any harm." Sorrow finished. She was glad she was of use but having the ability to see chakra in its pure form was an ability passed down from her father thanks to his rennegan.

Pein nodded.

"Thank you Sorrow. I will go over the information and check in with my spy to learn more about these kids. Anything else any of you want to tell me before we go to sleep, we have a long day tomorrow." Blood nodded.

"The black haired kid is mine." Pein nodded before looking at the other two, after a couple seconds he turned and walked into his room.

Sorrow, Morn And Blood Sighed.

"What he needs a room for, not like he's alive to be tired... or sleepy." Blood said. A smile escaping the other two. Before all of their stomach growled. They never did get to eat.

"Room service?" Sorrow ask already walking towards the phone.

"How about we go out to eat? Collect more info on the village and try to find that damn kyuubi." Morn asked. Blood shrugged.

"Deva path was pretty clear that we should leave the rest till tomorrow." Sorrow Said.

"So? Tousan probably already disconnected him after all he's been awake for a couple of days... even a god needs rest." Morn argued, sorrow sighed knowing he was right and she was hungry.

"Fine, but I pick the place."

"Yesss! Let's go!" Morn yelled. Blood just followed.

Rushed but it's been like a year. Or almost a year or more then a year.

Next chapter Naruto and hinata. More naruto character development. More build up to the Chunin exam team seven might meet gaara.
