chapter 25. Damn here we go again, three four months later, and its only fair that I make something up for my laziness but I wont.
Anyways, its gonna be hard continuing this story after Naruto ends. Good thing I'm only at the chunin exam, still a bunch of arks left I could use.
So what's been up?

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto
Sup, yeah been awhile 3-4 months. Who knows, I don't. Been really busy.
Naruto was in deep thought, the words Mitsu told him currently racing through his mind, then he felt it a sharp chakra spike, the KI coming off I was nothing short but amazing. While it wasn't all that surprising many ninja in the village had spectacular KI, like Kakashi, Minato and even his mom had all amazing levels of KI but this one was different, extremely different. Naruto got out of bed and walked towards his window, he looked over the village and frowned. Who ever was able to give off that KI wasn't to be taken lightly. Letting his curiosity get the better of him he jumped over the rail and landed lightly on the grass, the cold grass tickling his feet. He didn't pay it much mind, as he took off into the trees it didn't take long for him to realize where the spurs of the KI was coming from.
"That Ame team from earlier.." Naruto drifted off as he continue to watch the trio before another KI spike was released, now that he was closer he was able to place who was the source, the kid with red hair, he was wearing sunglasses and a cloak that covered his whole body.
"I think morn was his name.." Naruto said out loud.
"That's the name don't wear it out." Naruto didn't move, the kunai to his neck had frozen him solid.
"Now care to explain why you're spying on us?" Naruto heard a more feminine voice ask.
"I felt something... odd and decided to check it out." Naruto finally said picking his words carefully. Morn eyes narrowed no way this kid was able to pick up his KI it was something only pein or his teammates could pick up on.
"That doesn't justify you picking us to spy on." Morn said pressing the Kunai closer to the blonds neck before being forced to avoid a kick for his head, forcing him to let go of the blonde and jumping back, landing next to sorrow and blood who were looking back up to the tree.
"Arent you that Sasuke kid from earlier?" Morn asked. Sasuke didn't bother replying, looking at his teammate.
"Why did you signal me here? You are more than capable of beating these three genins." The Ame team raised an eyebrow at him, they didn't feel the kid signal anyone. Sorrow frowned, she could see even the slightest of Chakra spikes and the blonde gave off none.
Before the Naruto on the branch disappeared in a puff of smoke.
'Shadow clone.' the Ame team all thought.
The blonde walking out from behind a tree, his hand in his pockets.
"You could come out Nami, the blue haired girl already noticed you arrive." Naruto said to no one in particular before in a blue Nami appeared next to Naruto.
"And to answer your Sasuke I was trying to retrieve some information." Sasuke didn't give no outward respond instead opting to join his team on the clearing. They now stood across from the Ame team.
Morn broke the silence.
"You never answered my question. After all what you just did would've easily caused a war.. and I'm sure Konoha wouldn't want that now will it." Morn said, a threat lingering in between his words.
"Like if Ame could even stand a chance against us. Took you nearly 20 years to over throw a guy in his 60's." Nami said back. The raven haired kid tensing at those words.
"I told you about talking about that guy." Blood said. His voice taking a menacing tone. "I killed the last 60 people who ever mentioned him, I do not wish to make it 61."
Nami raised an eyebrow.
"Pretty confident aren't you." Blood began to reach for an item inside his cloak before morn spoke.
"Don't." Morn said, shooting his teammate a glance. But blood continued to reach, before he pulled his hand out and pulled out a chocolate bar.
"What you really think I will really waste my time on such a weakling." Blood Said With a Smirk as he Took a bite. They never did get to eat.
"Like I said I felt something unusual, and I decided to check it out." Naruto said. Morn looked at him before turning around, his team quickly followed not a word more spoken.
Team 7 waited until they could no longer feel their chakra.
"They're weird." Nami said. Naruto and sasuke nodded in agreement before they too took off. Things defiantly just got more interesting.
Next morning
Minato frowned. The negotiation with the Tsuchikage were going anything but smoothly, for once he could honestly say he was sick of being nice. He hated the political games.
"What has the mighty Yondaime Hokage so upset?" Came the mocking tone of Jiraiya.
"Onoki is proving to be a lot more trouble then he's worth. I offered his son in return for Anko but he refused to accept anything until he gets here and talks to me personally. Not only that I am informed that Anko is now a Iwa nin and has actually denied the request of joining the leaf again, even if the old man son were returned. So now, not only did I show I have his son as a prisoner, but he wants to talk to me about freeing his son or he will make Anko reveal village secrets, if she hasn't already." Minato breathed out. Before slamming his head on his desk.
"Sounds like you're in a pickle." Jiraiya said.
"Thank you captain obvious." Jiraiya laughed.
"Well at least you got something to think about, any ways that's not why I'm here. I'm here to tell you that the Chunin exam arena is now fully complete and shall be ready for use come chunin exam day. " Minato smiled finally some fucking good news.
"Did Nara-San design it like I told him too?" Jiraiya nodded before he frowned. Minato didn't like that frown, that frown usually lead to bad news, and he was sick of hearing bad news.
"There was a problem" yup, bad news.
"Explain." Minato said pinching his nose.
"We'll Since you decided to use the forest of death... constructing the new stadium took a few lives, especially with all those animals and weird shit that could only be explained by the gods them self. Also, the stadium took a bit of money, and the council wants to know why. While you was away, I was able to persuade them that only you could answer those questions." Minato nodded.
"I guess keeping it a secret won't be possible." Minato groaned, the bad news just didn't stop.
"Anyways, call a council meeting, I want them all in the auditorium in 30 minutes, also try to get the Jounin sensei of all the team participating to come as well they need to hear this too." Minato ordered.
"HAI!" Before disappearing in a puff of smoke.
Minato sighed. Two weeks till the Chunin exam began.
30 minutes later, council room.
The room looked more like an auditorium than anything else. Rows upon rows of seats all facing a stage. The room was packed with Jounin and clan heads from all over the village, civilians, clan heads, and ninja clan heads taking the front row, while the back row was where most of the Jounin were.
Minato walked to the center of the stage where a podium was placed. Clearing his throat he began.
"I assume we all know why we're here." All he got in return was a nod. "Good, now before I explain does anyone have any questions?" Almost every hand went up. Minato sweet dropped. "Let me reword that. Does anyone have any questions that don't have to do with the Chunin exam?" All hands went down. Minato nodded.
"Good, then I'll be able to answer all your questions with what I'm about to say." Minato nodded snapping his finger the light began to dim before a screen began to slowly roll down from the roof, a projector being brought out.
"As you all know, the Chunin exam is a form of power control. Many villages send their best genins to show off the power of the future generations." Minato stopped letting this sink in.
"Every year a village gets selected, a village could not be selected 2 times in 5 years, those were the rules placed by our predecessors and those are the rules we follow." Another slight nod, gave him the okay to continue.
"Anyways-" Minato began.
"If we came here to learn about something we all already knew, I would have stayed home." Interrupted one of the civilian clan heads. Minato smirked.
"Good so we all know the history, that means I could skip the bullshit. And go straight to the fun part." Before the projector came to life and a picture of a stadium came to life.
"This Is the new stadium, Where all four parts Of The chunin exam will take Place." Minato said.
"Like before we will have a written test that is used to weed out the weak willed. We will let them into the forest surrounding the stadium and they are to recover the heaven or the earth scroll, and if the group of genins is too big a preliminary exam will take place. And fourth the final show down to prove who gets to be chunin and who doesn't." This puzzled all the Shinobi in the room.
"Still doesn't explain why this stadium is costing so much money, or even why, if we are going to use the same tactics as before will we go through the trouble of even building a new stadium." An angry civilian clan head reasoned, getting a couple of nods from the ninja clan heads as well.
"That simple because the stadium is part 0. The minute they enter the stadium they will be placed through a series of different test, to prove that they are capable of being chunin but not just that, the stadium is designed to not only weed out the weak but give more accurate results of who is truly capable of being a chunin and which village truly is the strongest." This caught everyone's attention. The projector changes to a different frame. The picture contained the symbols of different villages all with an 100% symbol next to them.
"As you could see every village starts off with 100%, as the test goes on this number could either remain the same or go down, the lower your village gets, the lower the chances of anyone from that village succeeding."
"What happens when a village reached 0?"
"They are eliminated and when I mean eliminated I me killed. Let me explain how this point system works. Everyone starts off with 100, each genin will be equipped with a chip that will be placed into their skin that will give the stadium a feel as to where they at, what are they thinking, and how they react to being placed in certain situations that they are not used too. This is possible from a fuinjutsu that I've been working on for the last couple of years. The ones that cost the most points is death with each death deducting 20 points, so if 5 genins from one village dies, that village gets eliminate regardless if they still have genins left in the exam. The genins that remain will be executed. And that village is there for weakened. Not only in the chunin exam but in real life too."
The group was speechless. Killing off a whole generation of Shinobi for the sake of a exam was kind of over the top. Hiashi asked the question everyone was afraid to ask.
"What if we get to zero." Minato nodded.
"We can't play favorites." He let that Linger.
Silence reigned over the auditorium, this wasn't a test, it was a war simulation and their children are the ginipigs. Minato cleared his throat.
"That is why I let the Jounin sensei join us, this is their call to decide if they actually want their genins to participate. I want a show of hands of who is not planning on letting their teams take part." All the hands went up except for 5 Jounins. Kakashi, Kurenai, Asuma, Maito Gai and the Jounin sensei of some no name squad.
"That's 15 genins, that more than triples your chances of being eliminated, since it only takes five people to cause a wipe out." Minato said. Seeing no waiver he nodded.
"Very well."
"Who will be performing these executions." Asked another civilian clan head.
"The chip/seal that is placed in there body will." Minato said, seeing the look of confusion he continued.
"The chip has a built in calculator, its connected to the stadium so that that once anyone dies it will automatically reduce the percentage of the village. Once the chip/seal detects that the percentage has reached 0, a small pulse will be sent across the other genins body from that village that will seal off their chakra." Hiashi frowned, sounded much like the cage bird seal.
"How did you get the other villages to agree to this?" Asked Hiashi. Minato frowned he wasn't expecting to answer that for another week.
"I offered something they needed. To the mist I offered a piece and trade treaty, since they are still recovering from their revolution, this will help their economics and overall power standing between the five villages." The council was in an uproar, what he was doing was way above the power granted to the Hokage.
"What if we get dragged into their war!" Yelled an angry civilian. Minato shrugged.
"We help them, just like if we get dragged into any war they will help us. So far Konoha has only had one alliance and that was Suna, and even they aren't really our friends. Plus Suna hasn't been getting many missions from their daimyo, so we have actually been providing them with more then 30% of our missions in order to keep them up and running and able to fight. With the Mist village we don't need to do that, not only that we get too expand are trade on fish, something we wasn't able to do because they owned every shipping dock and we had to pay a hefty tax to use theirs, not to mention shipping. Do you know how far mist is from here? We was paying them more then 30 million Ryo for just one shipping. We may not be lacking in money thanks to the shodai wood industry but we cant go around blowing money from our asses.. with this treaty I not only strengthen Konoha by giving us more money to spend on things that we need like a new academy, that actually has facilitys to help the future generation grow, and reduce the genin casualty rate, which our village has the highest with 63% that's more then half are genins and parents children dead because we cant afford to give them Kunai and ninjutsu training. The mist will also provide some of their missions to Suna, making that annoyance a little less annoying. In 9 months we will regain most of our money wasted, make our genins stronger, take more missions, and most of all once again be looked at as the undisputed village in the elemental nations!" Minato said with a smirk, as he saw all the clan heads mouth wide open, before a slow clap began leading to a full blown applause.
Minato raised his hands to settle them down. "The other villages: Suna agreed, not caring about this batch of genins. hidden stone agreed, honestly I don't know why, but if they dare try anything... I guess its time to remind them what happened last time they messed with the will of fire." The clan heads were left in awe, for 14 years they thought this kid was an idiot and not fit for power, but here he was talking like an experienced general, his words left no room for argument but his smile reminded them how warm and how much he cared for the village. Minato continued.
"This exam favors who ever has the least amount of genins-" Once again interrupted.
"Wouldn't it be better for us to send only 2 squads to increase our chances?" Asked Shikaku as he looked at his leader. Minato shook his head.
"No. Each village most give at least 15 people. We managed to do just that, if we didn't I would've been forced to pick the fifteen. But it makes me proud to have Jounins that feel they have trained their genins hard enough." He said with a smile.
Jiraiya spoke up.
"Death is the quickest way to be eliminated...what's the other ways." Minato spoke up.
"Being rendered unconscious, but not killed will have a 5 point penalty. choosing to surrender to the enemy will cost 5 points, if all three genins surrender, that's 15 points, 5 per head. If you decide to give up you will be charged 20 points. If you are rendered unconcious but not killed you will be removed from the exam ALIVE. If you surrender you will be removed from the exam ALIVE, if you give up you will be removed from the exam ALIVE but 20 points will still be deducted." This caused massive confusion.
"Why have mercy on them but then go about and kill everyone else if only 5 people die." Minato smiled.
"Because if you let 5 of your brethren die, you deserve to die as well." This left the council once again speechless. "This is a village vs village. But this is only stage 0. After that the chip will be modified to act as more of a tracing device, then after that the real exams continues starting with the written exam, and then Forrest of death, then the preliminary if too many genins make it through. Then the finals. Where every genin will be able to show off their skills, teammate against teammate, enemies against enemies. You know the usual." Minato said.
"So what's the time limit on stage 0 as you like to call it."
Minato shrugged.
"Haven't thought that far ahead. I Guess I'll Make It 48 Hours. After all can't have the exam ending before it starts."
That brought relief to everyone, if their genins survived 48 hours they will be in the clear.
"Anyways meeting dismissed. I got things to go over. People to talk to." Before he disappeared in a yellow flash.
Everyone had one thought.
'We need a new Kage.'
Before they all got up and left, the Chunin exam finally revealed.
Next day
Team seven stood in their regular meeting spot, all of them looking as the water flow under the bridge. Kakashi was late, and Nanashi has apparently been MIA since team 7 went away to the land of waves.
"If I could sneak up on you this easily maybe Kakashi was wrong letting you take part in this year chunin exam." Spoke an all too familiar condescending voice .
Naruto smirked.
"No lobster sharks this morning? If I didn't know any better I'll say your starting to like us." Nanashi snorted.
"I just didn't bother, after all I can't have my sweat little genin squad waking up in pain, not when we are going to start some amazing training!" The emphasis he placed on training didn't go unnoticed.
Last time they went through amazing training they were unconscious for 2 weeks, and that was with the help of the Fox. Nami smiled she never did get to train with them, the fact they even had any team work was a surprise, but they didn't even use team work as they will just split up and beat who ever was in front of them without the help of the others. That explains why Mitsu was able to pick us apart so easily, maybe together they would've given the vampire a run for his money. But that was a big maybe.
"Nice of you to grace us with your presence Kakashi-sama." Nanashi gave a mocking bow. Kakashi eye smiled before appearing on the bridge.
"Welcome back to the world of the living my friend." Kakashi said retuning the bow.
Nanashi smirked, not that they could see it anyways.
"I'm finally going to get some training down with Naruto and Sasuke." Nami said, a smile on her face.
"You won't be that happy by the end of the day, trust me." Sasuke muttered. Before they all turned to the left as a group of Jounin with their genins appeared. Team 7 frown, team 8, 9, 10 stood behind their Jounin sensei. They all cringed at the guy with the green jumpsuit.
Nanashi turned to the group.
"Any reason all of you are here? I was kinda of hoping to tor-train my students." The slip up caused the group to sweet drop.
"By now I assume you have already informed your squad of how the chunin exam is set up." Asuma said recovery quicker then the rest. Nansashi gave them the are you stupid look.
"I actually have no idea what you're talking about, Kushina didn't go to the meeting and I was eating some Doritos." Nanashi said scratching the back of his head. This caused the group to sweet drop once again.
Kurenai cleared her throat.
"What kind of Jounin sensei doesn't even bother going to such an important meeting? Kakashi you were there, I'm sure you had more than enough time to tell your team." Kakashi shrugged.
"I had stones to stare at, porn to read." The others jounins couldn't belive it. Either they had the up most confidence in their team or they really didn't care.
"Anyways, I'll brief them."
Training grounds
After the long explanation team 7 looked rather bored. They were looking forward to training not being told some bullshit. They clearly wasn't going to die in these exams, and they already deduced the reason the other teams were here was because they wanted all of them to work together.
"So you came here to ask us to help your team get stronger." Naruto said. The other genins looked up at their sensei to see if this was true, seeing their sheepish expression they couldn't belive it.
"Why would we need training from them? They're genins just like us! Plus, I bet my team could beat them no question asked!" Kiba smirked. "No way they could keep up with me and Akamaru. " Kiba yelled. Voicing the silent opinion of every other genin.
Nanashi smiled at this.
"I will allow this joint training to take place on one condition." Team 7 looked up at Nanashi curiously. They really didn't need their help.
"And that is?" Maito Gai spoke for the first.
"We let them face each other. But it won't be my team against all of you that will be unfair..." Nanashi took a pause. "And when I say unfair, I mean for you, that is. Team 7 will wash the floor with each one of your genin." The other jounins frowned at this.
"You're underestimating the talent we have." Nanashi shook his head.
"No I analyzed their posture and determined what I figure to be a pretty accurate assumption of their skill levels." Nanashi said matter of factly. "Now before I was interrupted. We'll have a couple of matches." Nanashi said, taking out a piece of paper from who knows where, and a pen from who knows where. He handed each a slip of paper and asked them to right their name. Once done, he placed the names in a bag, that the guy named 'who' only knows where he got it from.
"Theres twelve of you, so their should be 6 spars." He walked up to Neji and told him to pick, making sure he didn't use his all-seeing eyes.
"Ino." Nanashi nodded. Ino deflated god was not on her side, facing last year prodigy. Lee went next.
"Nami Namikaze, YOSH!" Nanashi quickly moved past the kid, too much weirdness for him, and that says a lot. Shino went next.
"Shikamru." The lazy Nara sighed. Tenten went next.
"Chouji." The sounds of chips being crunched was the only reply. Sasuke.
"Hinata." Nanashi grinned.
"Two dou jutsu interesting. That leaves Kiba and Naruto for the last fight. Let's begin, everyone not fighting please clear the field." Nanashi waited before raising his hand signaling them to begin, before jumping 20 feet in the air and staying their.
back with the group.
"Your Sensei could fly?" Kiba asked in awe.
"You don't say? I thought he was just being held up by Kami himself." Naruto said, getting a snicker out of everyone. Kiba bristled at the insult.
"I guess arrogance runs deep in the Uzumaki tree, or should I say whirlpool." Kiba responded with a smirk. Naruto smiled.
"You could be as arrogant as you want as long as you could back it up." Kiba smirked.
"We'll see soon." Naruto shrugged.
"If you could see me, I failed my training."
Training grounds
"I recommend you give up. I will not go easy on you." Neji said, settling into a Jyuken stance not bothering to activate his eyes. Ino fumed, she'll show him launching forward. I guess she doesn't know the Hyuga clan thrived in close combat.
'SMACK'
"Winner Neji." Nanashi said, seeing Ino laying face first on the ground clearly knocked out from the brutal hit. "You couldn't have gone a little easy on her?" Nanashi asked.
"I gave her the the opportunity to avoid the embarrassment, plus she already knew I was the most powerful opponent and didn't give up. In the exam she would've been killed and cost the village 20 points. Hopefully she takes this as experience and learn from it." Neji said walking away.
Ino was knocked out on the floor, her lip busted. She was quickly picked up by Asuma before being removed from the battle field, where Kurenai was quick to deliver medical nin jutsu.
Nanashi sighed, kid had a point.
"Any who, Nami your up."
Rock Lee appeared in the center of the training grounds in a fraction of a second, leaving everyone wide-eyed. That was some serious speed. Kiba took this opportunity to mock the wide-eyed blonde.
"What happened to the confidence from earlier. Don't worry maybe the weirdo will go easy on her since she's a girl." Naruto smirked.
"While that speed was impressive, it's nothing Nami will be concerned with. I just notice this kid has next to no chakra, he shouldn't be able to move that fast without it, unless he worked his ass off." Gai nodded before going on to tell the story about Lee. Sasuke frowned.
"Hopefully he has some type of variety because if speed is his only friend, Nami is going to wipe the floor with him. Especially since in my opinion her Tai jutsu is second to none. Even Nanashi-sensei has to actually try when they engage in close combat." This caused everyone to raise an eyebrow. Before they turn to the fight. Since Nami decided to take her time in getting to the clearing.
"Nice speed." Nami complimented.
"Thank you, I'm sorry if I make this quick I kind of want to watch Narut-kun fight. He's a genius that's I admire." Nami nodded.
"If you want to see him fight, I recommend you give up. If you choose to fight I Will not hold back and you will be unconscious for the rest of the day." Nami said rather dismissively. Rock Lee frowned.
"I guess arrogance runs in the Namikaze clan as well." Nami shrugged.
"Suit yourself."
"Begin." They heard Nanashi yell.
None of then moved.
"I see you have next to no chakra, care to explain." Lee nodded and told her the story how he is unable to mold chakra, because of a birth defect. Nami nodded.
"Then I further recommend you to quit. You now have absolutely no chance of being awake when it's Naruto-kun turn to fight." Lee blurred forward no one being able to see him move except a select few delivering a straight right hand, that was easily blocked.
He appeared again over Nami attempting to deliver a High kick that Nami blocked rather easily, again. He disappeared again, appearing under Nami his leg ready to deliver an uppercut, which was dodged again by Nami bending her back, allowing the foot pass in front of her. Once again Rock lee disappeared. This continued for at least 3 minutes before rock Less jumped back, breathing heavy.
He wasn't able to land one hit on the girl, and he'll be lying is he said he was holding back. He tried everything, the girl Tai jutsu was legit.
"I see your flames of youth burn brightly." Nami stood quiet. The kid was fast, quicker then Naruto and Sasuke and he hit hard, the first kick had felt like a ton of bricks was dropped on her arm. That's why she began avoiding kicks instead of trying to deflect them.
"You hit pretty hard. I might have underestimated you... I might actually have to fight a little more than I will like." Nami said removing her white cloak, her arm was bright red, no doubt from when she first dodged Rock Lee kick.
"I see you are finally going to take me serious." Nami nodded.
"In a way yes. You see, I never actually tested the limit of my Tai jutsu, and you could be a good measuring stick. That's why I will only fight you using Tai-jutsu." Rock Lee frowned.
"Handicapping yourself, I guess you still don't respect me enough." Before he looked back at Gai, who gave him a nod, before a seal appeared on his torso, arms and both legs before they finally disappeared.
"Gravity seals? Impressive." Nami said unfazed this just made measuring her own skills that much better. Lee smirked.
"Enough talk, let's begin."
Before Nami could respond she was in the air, her mouth leaking blood.
As the upper cut the kid delivered caused her to bite her tongue. Before being kicked even higher, feeling her bone creak from the vicious knee to her back, she was in the air for what felt like hours as she was constantly being pummeled not once being allowed to recover.
"Nami doesn't look to good, to think she will be losing to someone that's doesn't even use chakra." Neji said. Naruto nodded.
"Yeah, she is getting quite the beating isn't she?" Naruto said. Causing the rest of the genins to sweet drop, she was literally getting fucked up.
" Is there something your hiding from us? You don't seem to be worried your sister being turned into a punching bag." Shikamaru said. Naruto nodded.
"She'll be fine. Hey look at that, she finally decided to stop playing around." Naruto pointed towards the field. "You might want to go pick up your genin Gai-San, this fight wont last much longer." They all turned around to see what the blonde was talking about, no way this fight was over.
Nami Cursed. She was now rapped up in some type of cacoon made of the kids bandages and she was in a straight for all to the ground. Deciding she rather not experience that headache this move will surely bring on, she outstretched her arms, easily braking the titanium like wrap, disappearing for half a second appearing behind rock lee. Showing an amazing amount of speed Nami turned the genin around, wrapped her arm around, his neck placing his head close to her hip, pointed his head donward as she seen to lay back on air.
Crack
A sickening sound of skull hitting terrain echoed across the arena.
"I call that a DDT." Nami said picking her self of the ground, Lee laid in a 2 foot crater, head buried into the ground. Before Nami raised an eyebrow as she saw Lee's body twitch before he pulled his head out. To say Lee face was fucked up, was an understatement. He was leaking blood from his head, nose and mouth. To his credit, he was still up.
"Did you think that will finish me?" Before he once again disappeared, this time Nami disappeared too Lee's body being sent through a couple of trees seconds later, this time she didn't let up, blurring next to Lee's body grabbing his head and ramming it into the ground the force burying the genin at least two inches into the ground. Due to the speed at which Nami was going, she continued to drag Lee's head into the ground for roughly a yard, when they finally stopped Lee was pretty much buried into the ground. Nami didn't seem to care though, as she lifted leg and slammed it into the genins chest, sinking him a couple more inches into the ground. Before grabbing him by one of his legs pulling him out from the rubble, Realizing the genin was knocked out she sighed. She over did it... again.
"Winner Nami. And someone please get that kid to the hospital." Nanashi yelled. Gai responded and didn't even stop to say anything as he grabbed his prized student and ran in the direction of the hospital.
Next second Nami was back on the bridge. Naruto looked at her.
"You didn't have to remove your own gravity weights. You would've beaten him without them." Everyone was looking at Nami in awe. This girl was way too fast, not only that she didn't use one ounce of Chakra.
Nami smiled. "What's the fun in that? Plus Nanashi did say go all out."
"I never said that." The masked shinobi fired back, how he heard them from that distance no one knew. Nami still shrugged.
"would've gone way worse." Team 7 gave a nod.
"True." They heard Nanashi say.
" Next match, Shino vs Shikamaru."
Naruto was genuinely curious about this next fight. He never really bothered ever paying attention to these two. This actually wasn't the first time these two were paired to fight, in the academy they will always be matched against each other, from what he recalled, the shadow user will always surrender. It was either he was a coward or he was really lazy.
"Who do you think will win this fight?" Tenten asked.
"Shikamaru won't fight." Chouji said stuffing his face with a bag of bbq chips.
Back on the field.
"Begin"
"I surrender."
"Winner Shino."
Back with the crew.
"You weren't kidding." Tenten said sweet dropping.
"That's Shikamaru for you." Chouji said, still eating his chips.
Shikmaru and Shino could be seen walking back towards the group.
"Any reason you surrendered so easily?" Kurenai asked. Sure, Shino was tough, but anyone with significant skill could handle him.
"His bugs won't let my shadow jutsu get anywhere near him, they will suck all the chakra from the shadow before it comes within a certain range of him. I'm not good at Tai jutsu at all, I don't got any nin jutsu outside of my clan and the ones taught at the academy. And besides this fight wouldn't prove anything, as I won't be facing him in the exams, I'll be facing other villages. This greatly increases my chances of winning." The Nara said, before he laid down on the grass and started staring at the clouds.
Naruto nodded. He would be a great tactician one day, if he doesn't get killed that is. Then he saw Sasuke appear on the training grounds.
'Someone's a little anxious.' Naruto thought. Last time Sasuke was this eager to fight anyone besides him was when they went against Danzo army.
'Typical Uchiha.' Naruto Eyes Widen, Last Time He Heard the Fox was when his Grandfather Sealed Him away.
'I guess it was bond to wear off sooner or later.' Naruto thought frowning.
'Damn right Uzumaki.' Naruto frowned, he really needed to find away to prevent the Fox from talking to him.
'Your being watched by those kids from Ame.' Naruto scowled at this, he didn't even feel them.
'How long have they've been watching?'
'Figure it out yourself.' Naruto gave a sigh, he was really expecting the Fox to help him. Regardless he couldn't do anything about it now.
"Nami." Naruto said quickly gaining his sisters attention.
"We have a couple of friends watching, mind going to talk to them." Nami caught on quickly before she disappeared. Looking back at the field he noticed Sasuke and Hinata fight had already began, and was pretty one-sided. He flinched when he saw Sasuke land an unusually hard punch to Hinata mid section, before he saw Sasuke deliver an elbow to the solar plexus.
'Arent you going a little overboard Sasuke.' Naruto said, using his mental link with the Uchiha, that was given to them by the deity inside them.
'No. Your not one to feel pity for others, does Uzumaki-San have a crush on this girl?' Before he delivered a kick to Hinata mid section, which she saw coming but had no way of avoiding.
'I'm warning you Sasuke, if you prolong this fight just to inflict unneeded damage...' Naruto trailed off as he saw Hinata roll on the ground from the brutal kick. Before she got back up. Naruto frowned, he was tempted to tell her to surrender but he knew that wouldn't be good for the girls confidence.
Naruto muscled clenched, when he saw Hinata take a punch that sent her flying.
Back on the field.
"You should surrender, an Hyuga has no chance against an Uchiha, especially not when I'm facing the weakest of them all." Sasuke mocked. He really held no real bad feelings for the girl, or the Hyuga clan.. but then again why did she get to have her whole family? While he had to watch his family get killed. Why did she get to be so happy? These thoughts just added to his anger, as he kicked the already down girl.
"Shut up." Was the barely audible respond from the girl, Sasuke stopped.
"What was that?"
"I said shut up." Before the girl got up and settled into an Hyuga juuken stance. 'She couldn't let herself be seen so weak, not infront of Naruto.'
"Shut up!" Before she dashed forward engaging him in Tai-jutsu, Sasuke was easily avoiding the blows.
Sasuke was unimpressed. The girl had speed and was a lot more agile then what he saw from neji, but she lacked the necceserry skills to actually act on that natural fluidity. He easily blocked a chakra enhanced junken strike, before he flinched at the pain that shot through his hand.
Hinata smiled. The strike she was delivering were not normal junken strikes. Unlike junken, which you will actually have to inflict physical injury to an opponent, this technique was releasing a concentrated amount of Chakra, once the arm was extended. Already expecting Sasuke to deflect instead of dodge she was able to catch him. Once her chakra made contact with any part of his body, her chakra will be pushed into his tenketsu blocking them. Only problem, she didn't have enough chakra to actually keep doing it repeatedly, so far she had 3 more shots left.
Sasuke looked at his hand, and activated his sharingan and saw the circulation to his hand was cut off.
'I got careless.' Turning back to his opponent he smirked.
"Nice trick. My turn." Sasuke removed the Syke from his back.
"That's enough Sasuke." Naruto said. Holding Sasuke by the wrist, preventing the weapon from being drawn. Naruto looked over at Hinata.
"I recommend you give up Hina-chan." Hinata blushed at the honorific, but frowned. Did he think she was so weak that she needed rescuing? Naruto apparently caught on.
"Don't look so down, you put up a great fight. You proved your ability to fight throw pain, and even managed to come up with a decent fight plan, and judging from the hand that I'm holding, Sasuke won't be able to use his hand for another couple of minutes. That's amazing in and out itself, even I struggle to land a hit on him, that leaves any lasting effect. I could see your chakra running low. You have nothing else to prove." Naruto finished with a warm smile. Hinata blushed before nodding.
"Winner Sasuke ." Sasuke frowned and shook his hand free.
'Why lie to her? I could've easily unblocked my hand.' Sasuke asked threw his mental link.
'You was taking it to far.' Sasuke scoffed.
'I wasn't doing anything different then what Nami did.' Naruto didn't answer instead walking away.
"Chouji vs Tenten."
"I forfeit. No way I'm fighting that kunai throwing bitch." Chouji said as he continued to each his chips. Tenten resisted the urge to kill the kid. Nanashi shrugged.
"Naruto vs Kiba." Naruto walked to the middle of the field.
"It's finally time to show these Uzumaki who's the alpha dog. Right Akamaru?" The dog barked in return.
Naruto mind began to wonder. 'What was taking Nami so long?'
"Hajime." Naruto easily avoided everything Kiba threw at him, from kicks to punches to kunais to bites. And all that without even moving from his spot.
'I should end this quickly. Nami been gone to long for my liking. But if something was happening Nanashi-sensei would've been sensed it.'
Naruto continued to block all attempts by the Inuzaka. Before he sighed. Kiba came at him full speed, fist raised. Kiba smirked he was actually not even going to dodge how stupid of him.
'Smack'
Clean hit. Kiba grinned as he felt his fist collide with Naruto jaw.
"My turn." Naruto said, pushing Kiba still outstretched hand from his chin, grabbing him by the collar with his left hand, and pulled the Inuzaka away from him before yanking him forward, delivering a solid right hand to the kids jaw.
'Wham'
Naruto frowned, he noticed he was only holding a piece of the Inuzaka clothing as Kiba went flying.
"Ops. A little to hard." He said dropping the piece of clothing to the ground and and scratching the back of his head sheepishly, a foxy grin on his face.
Everyone was left in shocked.
"What exactly has Kushina been teaching these kids? The blonde kid didn't even look like he was paying attention." Kurenai asked still in awe, at seeing her team be so easily decimated. The other jounins nodded.
"It's official all of you suck. With some exceptions." Nanashi said. This caused the genins to groan.
"Are you going to help us train them or not? If not your gonna have to explain to the hokage why his children ended up dead." Kurenai said, already a little angry that her team made her look like such an incompetent teacher. Nanashi cocked his head to the right.
"Your working under the assumption, that I actually care if they die." The others sensei narrowed their eyes. "But then again, telling Kushina how I could've prevented their death would be extremely painful. Physically of course. So I guess I will, since you all suck as senseis. They ALL Seem To Have THE Same Level Of Skills They Came Out Of The Academy With. What have you been doing with them? Tomorrow 7 am, all of you. Only the genins." This caused some confusion, Nanashi smiled.
"It's your lucky day Sensei's, you all have vacation for the next two weeks." Nanashi said.
"We aren't going to let you train our students without our supervision." They all said at the same time. Nanashi shrugged.
"Then let them die." Nanashi said, seeing them flinch he continued. "Let them decide. How's it gonna be, genins? It's ME OR them?" Naruto and Sasuke walked behind Nanashi and stared back at the group, before Nami appeared and also stood behind her teacher. Kakashi sighed walking next to Nanashi.
Ino frowned. She was made to look so weak and they were all so strong. Looking down she also walked forward. Followed by shikamaru.
"I'm sorry sensei, nothing personal." Shikamaru said, walking forward. Asuma nodded.
"No problem. You should go to chouji you all work better together." Asuma said a small smile on his face. Chouji looked up before nodding and following his team.
Neji walked forward. Tenten frowned but stayed back, so did Lee who had returned, he really did miss Naruto fight. Gai smiled at his two students.
'If I join, I'll get to spend more time with Naruto-kun' Hinata said blushing. Kurenai sighed, seeing her student.
"You should all go. I'm not a combat specialist like the other genins or Nanashi-san. I want you all to survive. That's my top priority as a teacher." Kurenai said. Hinata smiled hugging her surrogate sister, before walking and standing next to Naruto. Kiba grumbled but walked forward to, he got his ass whoop, he needed to learn their secret. Shino nodded and walked forward.
"There it is. Anyways Meet here tomorrow 7am, don't be late. you will go through the most ruthless training you ever been through. Deuces." Before Nanashi disappeared. Quickly followed by the Jounin senseis. Leaving the students alone in the field.
"Since we kind of a team how about team meal tonight at my house?" Naruto asked. Everyone looked at him. Was this the same kid that ignored everyone and didn't seem to care if any of them died?
"Sure why not. Free food. Plus none of us, even been to the Uzumaki estate." Shikamaru said. Everyone agreed. Ino bit her lip and looked away. She still remembered what Naruto told her.
"Something wrong Ino-san?" Shino asked. Ino shook her head giving a fake smile.
"Nope, I just have nothing to wear. Hey Hinata, Sakura, Tenten want to do a little shopping before tonight?" The girls shrugged. Nothing better to do. Tenten nodded it's been awhile since she actually spent time with girls, people were starting to thinking she was a town boy. Plus she also had nothing to wear. Sakura nodded she needed something to look good for Sasuke. Hinata only agreed to go because she was invited, something that didn't happen much. The girls all left leaving all the boys in the training grounds. They all looked at each other awkwardly. Nami Sweet dropped.
"Hold up girls! Don't leave me with these Freaks." Nami said running after the girls.
Kiba frowned.
"Now we gotta buy something too. If all the girls dress up and we don't, we're gonna end up looking like a bunch of ass holes." Kiba said. "I guess I gotta shower too, dammit Naruto." This caused a sweet drop from the blonde.
"I'm pretty sure you should be doing that anyways." Naruto said blue in the face. "I'm guessing none of us have things to wear. Let's go get something, it'll be good for team chemistry! Plus one of us might get lucky!" Naruto yelled, causing massive sweet drops.
"We're 13." shikamaru said. Naruto nodded.
"So?"
"I don't think you know what get lucky is." Shikamaru said.
"You have a lot to learn my friend." Naruto said sagely. Shikamaru sighed.
"Troublesome."
"I don't have time for this." Sasuke said as he turned around to leave. Naruto smirked.
"You sure? I'm guessing you don't want to look good for Nami? You know how she looks when she's all dressed up." Naruto said. Stopping Sasuke in mid step.
"On second thought, I do need a new kimono, my black one was ruined with Nanashi last prank." Sasuke said, gaining a small smirk from Naruto.
'How I love blackmail.'
'I'mma get you back.'
There you go.
Tune in next time. Dinner, revelations, training begins!
