chapter 26. Damn here we go again, three months later, and its only fair that I make something up for my laziness but I wont.
Anyways, its gonna be hard continuing this story after Naruto ends. Good thing I'm only at the chunin exam, still a bunch of arks left I could use.

Sup, yeah been awhile 3-4 months. Who knows, I don't. Been really busy.
Uzumaki clan compound
Nanashi knocked on Sasuke door, it was about 2 in the morning. His mask was swirling brightly in the dark hallways, under it his face retained an impassive scowl. While he was brooding for who knows how long, he decided it was finally time to tell Naruto and Sasuke the truth. What he first saw when he looked into their eyes when he first introduced himself to them has been eating away at his mind. Then Mitsu came into the picture and made it worst. He wasn't particular scared of Mitsu, no. The dark mam was strong but not that strong. Everyone had a weakness, and one of Nanashi greatest weapons was being able to see them at first glance. And while Mitsu weakness took a little longer to find he saw it, and it wasn't good. While knowing the weakness and capitalizing on the weakness was too different stories, he was confident he could do it, but it will come at a major price, a price he was more then willing to pay.
"Are you okay Nanashi?" Sasuke asked, he was staring at the man in suspense. Nanashi frowned, he must've spaced out.
"Come with me." Nanashi said already walking down the dark hall, Sasuke frowned but still followed. They walked in comfortable silenced.
They arrived at Naruto room. Nanashi knocked lightly, waiting a couple of seconds as Naruto opened the door and stared at them.
"Follow us." Nanashi said. Naruto frowned, his golden yellow hair flowing down his back was fuzzy and lacked its regular grace. He took a couple looks at Sasuke. While him and the Uchiha have became civil, there was a point in time when Naruto even considered him a friend. But as of late, Sasuke been colder, he was no longer trying to talk to anyone in the house, and he will disappear in the morning to come back at night, clothes torn and dirty and every time he'll ask Sasuke, wahts been up, he'll just look at him with something close to hate. But it only lasted a second, before he will scowl and call him a dobe..
"We're here." Naruto shook his head he must've zoned out. They were in the middle of the garden.
"Why are we here Sensei? I thought training doesn't start till tomorrow?" Nanashi nodded, before taking a seat motioning for them to do so too.
"We have to talk." The seriousness in his voice made the two uncomfortable. Nanashi watched them take a seat before frowning. He stared at them for a minute before reaching for his mask, an audible click went across the garden before the mask was tossed too the side.
Naruto and Sasuke eyes were wide open, this was the first time they've ever seen their sensei face. Nanashi looked just like Naruto. If he would've kept his red hair that is. His greenish blue eyes, chisel chin, long red hair, and the piercing cold look he thought only Naruto could produce.
"Listen you two." This snapped them out their stupor. Nanashi looked at them. "When I first met you, I didn't think much of any of you." Even his voice sounded different. It was a lot deeper and relaxed. His mask filtered it to seem high and almost childish. For the first time they were talking to the real man, the one behind the mask.
"But when I stared into each of you with my Kekkei Genkai I saw something i never wanted to see before." Nanashi paused. History had a funny way of repeating itself.
"Naruto you was able to meet the head of the Uzumaki clan. But there's more to her then that. The story you were told by the two deities in you are lies. Not all of it but most of it." This further raised the teens eyebrows, how did he know about that, they made a promise never to tell anyone about the two gods. They both tried to reach the deities in them but no reply..
"What they told you about how they came to earth, and fought to the death and they set off in different directions. Was only half true. In reality they were both born on earth, and both of them were the son to the sage Of the six path. The sage was the most powerful man ever. He was the one that spread ninshu across the world, and he was the one to fight against the Ten tails, and it wasn't still he was in his dying bed that he split them into 9." Sasuke narrowed his eyes, so the person inside him wasn't the sage.. but he had the same eyes as him.
"But the person inside of me has the sage of the six paths eyes, and has shown me his memory's." Nanashi frowned.
"Let me finish. Too his oldest son, Indra he gave him his spiritual powers and yin chakra, along with this came the sage powerful eyes and gift for ninjutsu. Two his youngest son Asura, he gave his physical powers, life force and body. Giving him chakra beyond his imagination and being able to live to be more them 100 and still look young. But that was where the piece ended." Nanashi face took on a scowl at this. Both teens seem to be in deep thought, and Sasuke looked to be furious.
Nanashi continued.
"The sage left Asura as heir, believing that Indra was only interested in power and fighting, and believed Asura will lead the world to piece. Indra was furious and after the sage died he became obsessed with killing his brother and taking the throne, for many years they didn't speak. Indra left to wonder the world alone, and the few times they did meet it will end up in a fight that will reshape the landscape. Asura was able to make friends, and bring people together, fulfilling his dad dream of piece. He was becoming an idol, and Indra hated it, Both of them eventually Had A kid. And from these kids the Uchiha clan and Senju Clan was born. After Indra and Asura died, there off springs continued the cycle of hate. Some members not agreeing with the clan separated and started their own clans, this was the beginning off different clans with different abilities. The one that stood out the most surprisingly are all here in Konoha. The Hyuuga clan, the Inuzaka, Akimichi, and Yamanka." Nanashi Said finally taking a breather. He watched the two for any outer reaction it was clear to see the anger building in Sasuke. He could feel for the kid, all those clans that came from his bloodline still exist while his was almost gone. Only 2 left, and he was set on killing the other one. This was probably driving him crazy. he saw them look at him expectantly and continued.
"The other was Uzumaki and Namikaze. These were the only clan that inherited something directly from the sage. The first Uzumaki was the daughter of Indra Son. And the first Namikaze was the son of the Indra son. The Uzumaki weirdly enough gained a giant amount of spiritual power and also physical power. Giving them the gift of powerful eyes and durable bodies, the perfect beings. While the Namikaze were strong in physical energy, Giving them almost unmatch speeds and intelligence. While some Namikaze were able to unlock the Sharingan the rare cases where It did happen they will be killed before they turn 3 by a member of the Uchiha clan, they feared the kid will be too powerful and eventually they cut their loses and left them." Naruto nodded appreciating the history lesson on both his clan heritage. How ironic will it be that after all those years, a Namikaze will have children with an Uzumaki and have two children, and both children lived in the same house, well almost the same house as an Uchiha. The irony of it all.
"That's where you come in Naruto." Nanashi frowned. "You're an conundrum. You are both Uzumaki and Namikaze. Not only that you have both spiritual and physical powers, meaning you are the first Namikaze to have this power and live, not only that you also inherited Asura chakra, while Sasuke inherited Indra." Nanashi frowned at this when a look of realization washed over them, they finally got it.
"You two are going to either be the end of this senseless fighting, or be the fuel that ignites it all over again. This is why Mitsu so interested in you three. Including Nami. This is why he hasn't made a move. He wants to see how your story play out." Naruto and Sasuke looked at each other. They never felt more together but separate at the same time.
"So whats it going to be?" Sasuke snorted as he got up.
"My goals haven't changed, now more then ever I want to kill Itachi for killing off my only connection to the past, I also want to see Konoha burn to the ground along with every single clan that dared separate from us. And if you so happen to be on its side when it's time, I will not hesitate to kill you Naruto, I won't hesitate to kill any of you. I was born to live in darkness, while Naruto was born to be the light. Thanks for the lesson Nanashi, but this only fuels my pain. This only ignites my fire." His Sharingan flashing on, before it shifted from two, to three commas in each eye.
"Sasuke." Naruto said quietly, his bangs hanging over his eyes, stopping the Uchiha in mid step. "While I'm willing to understand your pain, I can't feel it. While I empathize with your goal, I do not care for it, and while I don't like Konoha, this is home to my friends. So even if I got to drag you back, with every single bone in your body broken to the light, that is what I'm going to do... Even if we both die in the process. Because that's my nindo." Naruto said.
Sasuke smirked, as he continued to walk away. "But if you hurt any of my precious people..." images of Kushina, Nami, Hinata, Kakashi, Minato, Nanashi crossed his mind. "I won't hesitate to kill you." In a flash he was infront of Sasuke, his hand stretched out.
"But for now, let's just enjoy the last moments we have together as family." Sasuke walked passed Naruto bumping him as he passed leaving Naruto outstretched hand hanging.
"You don't understand, there is no family for me, they're already dead, or soon to be."
The rivalry was alive and well.
Training ground 7.
"Okay brats, before I continue your training tell me a little something about yourself, for many of us, this is our first time ever talking to each other, I'll go first then you follow." Nanashi said placing his hands behind his head. "My name is Nanashi, I like hm, I dislike hm, my goal is hm." massive sweet drops.
"You didn't really say anything Sensei." Ino pointed out. Nanashi just nodded.
"Yup. Since you so kindly voluntered let's here your story." Ino frowned, she should've just kept her mouth shut.
"My name is Ino Yamanaka, I like gardening, talking to my friends, gossiping and a certain boy." A small eye twitch in Naruto direction didn't go unnoticed. "I dislike, sweating, working my parents flower shop and salty foods. My goal is to become the strongest clan head in Konoha history!" Ino said with strong conviction.
Nanashi nodded, interesting and claiming to want to be the strongest clan head in a class full of future clan heirs took some bravado, especially with power houses like Naruto, Sasuke and Nami being all future clan heads.
"You're up next blue." Nanashi said looking at Hinata, the girl 'ep' trying to stuff her head into her sweater.
"G-gomen, I'm Hyuga, Hinata. I like going for walks, my sister Hanabi and Naruto-kun. I dislike some of my clan ideals, and my goal is to change the way my clan operates starting by removing the cage bird seal." Hinata said. Naruto smiled, his confidence was wearing off on her. Neji released a small scoff at that.
"You're next dog breath." Kiba snorted.
"I'm Inuzaka Kiba, I like training, hanging out with Akamaru, testing myself agaisnt stronger opponents and my family. I dislike cats, and clan heads that believe their the shit." A look in team 7 direction. "My goal is to become the most famous tracker ninja in the elemental nations!" Nanashi nodded, not bad for an idiot.
"Insect kid."
"My name is Aburame, Shino. I like my bugs, I dislike people who kill bugs just because they can. My goal is to build my own colony of insects." Nanashi nodded.
"Boring. You bun girl."
"My name is Tenten. I like weapons, training, my team and did I mention weapons? I dislike men that think they are better then woman, and my goal is to become the strongest Kunochi in the world." Nanashi nodded, Wait till he told Kushina.
"Ass hole" Nanashi said looking at the pony tailed Hyuga.
"My name is Hyuga, Neji. I like training, I dislike the main branch of the Hyuga clan. My goal is irrelevant at my destiny has already been written for me." Nanashi just sighed. Moving on.
"bushy brow."
"Yosh! My name is Lee, I love Tai jutsu, training, fighting, and weights. I dislike people held as geniuses and my goal is to one day defeat a genius in battle!" Nanashi smiled, I like him.
"Lazy boy."
"My name is Shikamaru, I like watching the clouds pass over us, and tactical games. I dislike troublesome people and girls. And my goal is... I've been to lazy to think that far ahead. Ironic." He finished with a Smirk. Nanashi smirked typical Nara.
"Fat-so." Before Chouji could charged at him he was knocked out half a second later, no one seeing the mask jounin move an inch.
"Moving on then. Go ahead Nami."
"I'm Namikaze Nami, I like my family, learning new jutsu, studying the past and fighting along side my team. I dislike weak people, and I have zero tolerance for laziness." Shikamaru groaned. "My goal is to become the sixth Hokage."
"There's not even a fifth hokage. but it will take a girl a little longer. " Kiba mocked. Easily angering every female in the training grounds.
"No, because I'm 13, and still a genin. You just don't jump rank. You smelly bag of dog shit! My father is strong, but even he could be defeated!" Nami yelled blasting her killing intent, causing the dog boy to take a couple steps back.
"Enough. Go ahead Sasuke." Nanashi frowned, his conversation with the kids didn't go as planned.
"My name is Uchiha Sasuke, I have next to no likes, I dislike next to nothing. More like hate. My goal is to kill a certain amount of people." His Sharingan flashing. Nanashi frowned as he saw the disturbed face on the other genins faces.
"You're up Naruto." 'Please raise the morale kid!'
Naruto smiled as he placed his hands behind his back.
"My name is Uzumaki Naruto, I like Ramen, training, my family. I dislike traitors, and my goal is to become the strongest Shinobi to walk the elemental nations." Nanashi sighed.
"So I guess that's everyone-"
"Wait!" The group turned around to see a bubble gum haired girl, running towards them a scroll visibly in her hand. she reached the group, and took a couple of minutes to catch her breath, before passing the scroll to Nanashi. The masked Jounin looked at it before shaking his head.
"Just what I needed, but hey nothing bad with having an extra minion. Welcome to team 7." Team 7 looked at Nanashi like he grew a third head. Noticing these looks Nanashi raised his hands defensively.
"Don't give me that look! Blame your dad! he clearly wrote, Sakura Haruno is to be added to team 7 indefinitely. Then he wrote a smiley face and a chibi doing the piece sign, look!" Nanashi said showing team seven the note and the poorly drawn Chibi. The team sighed.
"Introduce yourself. I didn't get to see you spar yesterday, so your gonna have to play catch up. so hurry it up." Sakura inhaled.
"I'mHarunoSakura, IlikeSasuke, IdislikeNami. MY GOAL IS TO MARRY SASUKE." How she manage to speak so fast and still have enough energy to scream was beyond them. Team 7 sighed, they thought they beat that shit out of her in wave, I guess old habits do die hard.
"Okay, now since we got everyone, I'm gonna lay out the training. We only have 2 weeks, till the exam starts but that's the just first part, I'm not expecting all of you to get by-" The frown on the genins faces made him smile, of course he knew they will but hey, nothing like doubt to make them work harder." For those that do, it will be a month before the final battle and during that time I will also be training you." Nanashi said. He continued, now the icing.
"Some of you look at team 7 as some kind of measuring stick." A couple of nods. "From now on I want you to drop that. As strong as they are they could still be killed and none of them could hold a candle to a well trained Jounin individually." This took the rookie 13 back. Since when did a Jounin sensei bad mouth his students. Nanashi was doing back flips in his head.
"These kids got to be this strong, because they have each other. Each of them brung something to the table that other lacked, and they've managed to get to this level of power because day in and day out, they gave it their all. They understand the meaning of being a shinobi. But this village isn't gonna be feared because of three individuals. You are the future of Konoha. And as such I will treat like so. I will not hold back, you will go home every single day with every single bone in your body hurting, you will have no chakra and will have to claw your way into your bed every night, and if you don't wake up dreading coming to train then guess what? I will train you even harder. Let's get one thing straight, I don't play favorite, my team will be right along side you and they will not be held above you."
They were all shocked and to a smaller degree team 7. This was very unlike Nanashi. The other genins visibly tensed, this training sounded like a death sentence.
"First of all, you have two weeks to pick me a leader, Co leader, tactician, tracker, special attack force, and a defensive force, understood?"
"HAI!" They yelled.
"Good. I'm leaving this up to you because I will not be in there, so if anything goes wrong it was all of your fault. If one of you gets killed, you could blame the leader but then again you picked him/her. If your attack force sucks, you could blame them, but you chose them. If your defense was breached, you could blame them but... you get the point." They all nodded.
"I feel bad for whoever the leader will be." Kiba said smirking, no way he'll take that job.
"100 push ups Kiba. I did not tell you to speak, nor do I care for your snide comments. And that's under 3 minutes." Nanashi said looking straight at the kid.
"But-" Kiba tried to protest.
"2 minutes 59 seconds. If I were you I get on it, you don't want to know what happens if you don't make it." Kiba groaned before hitting the deck and started the push ups.
All the genins looked on amused, as the Inuzaka barely made time.
"Something looks funny? First day. Physical training. I want 300 push ups, 300 pull ups. 300 crunches, 300 jumping Jacks, 300 squats, in under 30 minutes, and after you done with that do it again we;ll be doing that for 2 hours that means four sets of 300 each, that's about a thousand two hundred a little less then I wanted but it'll do. After that we'll do some speed training, all of you are terribly slow. Watching you all fight was like watching two old people have sex, you to Nami and Lee. You two are fast but I've seen faster, way faster. Begin."
And that was when the genins knew, they fucked up. Naruto paled, they've seen their sensei do some crazy shit but that was insane Even for them. And that was only the first 2 hours.
"Strength only comes one way. You just gotta find different ways to reach it."and with that Naruto hit the deck and began his push ups. Stopping to look up at the crew. "What is this a fashion show? Get your ass moving and sound off! 1" snapping them off their stupor, they hit the floor and yelled.
"2!"
"That more like it 3!"
Nanashi smiled as he jumped into a tree and took a seat and began to eat his cereal.
'I hope they remembered to not eat breakfast..'
2 hours later the rookie 13 laid motionless on the floor. Lee managed to recover first a little more use to the strain of physical energy. Gai was a slave driver but he will never make them do so much. He believed only time brought strength. Nanashi was the polar opposite, he couldn't blame him he was short on time, and had a bunch of brats that were all just slightly above average, while others hovered just above civilian. His eyes drifted to Ino and Sakura, they were the ones struggling the most, Ino looked like she was about to faint. Sakura was doing slightly better, which surprised him. She was still breathing hard but wasn't looking anywhere near done. Hinata was breathing hard but her eyes were steel, as she would take small glances at the spiky headed blonde. Nanashi decided it was finally time to move on.
"Not a bad warm up." Smirking at the many dirty glares he got. "Now, now don't give me that look. How about a gift?" Watching the genins instantly perk up. He reached into his pockets, bring out a scroll. Tossing it casually to the floor, the teens watched as the paper suddenly erupted in flame, an array of Kanji spreading the ground under them and with a puff of smoke the training ground cleared to reveal a small phoenix. The bird was leaking blue Fire as the flames licked off its wings.
"This will be your next activity. Speed. Maya-chan here will be the objective. All you have to do is catch it. Be warned she could and would defend herself, and she will not be allowed outside the training grounds. You have 30 minutes. If you don't complete it in that amount of time you will once again have to go through your first activity. We will not be able to move on until you do. Begin." With that Nanashi jumped back onto his tree and smiled again, this time pulling out a ration bar, watching them train was making him hungry.
Naruto sighed as he looked at his 'comrades' they could barely get up, how could he expect them to catch Maya. looking over at where the Phoenix stood, he could easily just kill it using his Sekai but showing it to the other genins didn't sound all that fun. Especially not to Kiba, his mouth will get him killed one day.
"I'll go first. Be my back up." With that Naruto took off, and they were left surprised when Naruto was sent flying threw a couple of trees seconds later. The Phoenix still standing in the same place she was summoned. The only indication that she moved was the small trail of fire that flicked across the grass in front of her. They were so tired they could've sworn it was genjutsu, nothing was that fast.
Sasuke frowned, his sharingan was on. He wasn't able to see the bird move either. Why was he so weak? His sharingan gave him the power to slow down time and a bird managed to completely eliminate that ability. Sasuke sucked his teeth before dashing forward. He received the same treatment as Naruto but he managed to come to a skidding stop a couple of feet behind the other genins.
"You Hyuga." Sasuke said staring directly at Neji. The Brunette boy cocked his head to the side.
"Yes?" Sasuke moved over to him.
"Activate your eyes and tell me what you see." The Hyuga frowned at being told so casually what to do, especially by an Uchiha but he decided to humor the kid. Turning his head towards the Phoenix and a pulse of Chakra activated his eyes, the veins around his eye bulging before he frowned.
"The bird Nanashi summoned is covered in the same chakra as Nanashi. In fact, it's actually drawing it's power directly from Nanashi. I could see a small line, almost like ninja wire connected to the birds neck. But I don't see" Before neji eyes widened, it couldn't be. "I see. We aren't actually fighting a phoenix. Just a manifestation of senseis chakra. That will explain it's speed. It basically has the same abilities as Sensei." Naji said. Looking over at Sasuke to confirm his theory, a curt nod from Sasuke didn't stop his worry.
"How are we going to stop him then? If this is just a manifestation and it's that fast, what other sensei ability does it have?" Sakura added.
Sasuke shrugged. Looking over at Nami expectantly, as much as he hated to admit it, he wasn't a tactician. While he could make up a plan, he would rather let Nami do it. Plus, this wasn't an individual test, he needed all of them to get through this test. He didn't have much to work with. Nami nodded. She looked at the Phoenix for a minute, looking over at Nanashi.
"The bird is just a distraction, we aren't suppose to catch it, we're suppose to catch sensei, as his Chakra will stop the technique." Nami said, catching everyone in the group by surprise, she managed to get all that with just a glance. Shikamaru frowned.
"It's not that easy. No doubt Sensei has already figured out we found out the truth. Maybe we aren't being judged on physical speed but, mental speed. How fast could we analyze a situation and come up with an reasonable fight plan. This will help in the grand schemes of things as in the chunin exam we won't have the chance to fix a mistake." And with that the bell went off around the clearing.
"Not bad. Figuring that out so quickly. But I expect nothing less from a Nara." Nanashi said. Naruto took this moment to appear, the bird must've burned a part of his shirt, leaving his tattooes chest exposed. Nanashi frowned something felt off... looking back he saw his phoenix was laying on the ground obviously unconscious.
Nanashi was stunned, as he turned his head to look down. Tapping him just above the wrist was the other Hyuga. Hinata, I think her name was. He was a little surprised. Not only did the girl severe the chakra string he was using to feed the bird his Chakra, she also managed to closed one of his tenketsu. Which wasn't a problem it will open back up momentarily, but either way. How did she know, which tenketsu the chakra string was coming from. The amount of precision needed for something like that was way above a regular Hyuga eyesight limits. He smiled, maybe these kids weren't so useless.
But then again he couldn't just let things like that go unpunished. Raising his leg, he attempted to deliver a upper cut using his knee, a flash of green later and he was finding it kind of hard to move. The bowl head kid stood a couples feet away, holding Hinata. Which doesn't explain his lack of movement, before he looked down and saw his shadow connected to the Nara, before he cursed as his body was squished between the enlarged hands of the Akimichi hands, he noticed Ino was Positioned, in her family famous mind transfering technique. He frowned as he felt a small drain on his Chakra, the buzzing finally reaching his ear. Shino. Kiba was standing next to a transformed Akamaru. He smirked. Maybe he underestimated these kids. Before easily blasting them away.
They all manged to maneuver in the air and land on their feet.
"Dammit, I would've sworn that will work." Shikamaru said. Everyone else nodded. Everyone was surprised at the amount of hindsight Shikamaru possessed. The plan was simple. Use Naruto as the distraction to get a feel of the Animal, then have Sasuke prove what Naruto saw was true, since his sharingan gave them more details. After Neji confirmed what he saw, all it took him and Nami was a couple of seconds to relay the rest of the plan to the group.
They weren't expecting Nanashi to simply overpower them though. Nanashi gave a small chuckle.
"Okay, it seems I won't have to go easy on you all after all." Before bending over to knock on the ground. "You could come from under the ground Sakura I could feel you." Few seconds later Sakura rose from the floor, her skin giving off a small glint before It faded away.
"I've seen you improved your Kinzoku-tai(Metal body. I'm sure you infused it with your Kinzuko-ken?" Nanashi asked, a kurt nodded made him smirk. Before turning to the other genins.
"Like I was saying. I won't have to go easy on you anymore." He reached into his pocket again, putting all of them on edge, a smirk came to his face. Before he pulled out 13 pieces of paper. Before he walked over to the small lake in the training ground and placed the paper on the water.
"This is a different form of Chakra Control exercise. Not only will this bring your control up, it will also increase your reserve. After this walking on trees and on water will be a piece of cake. All you have to do, is stand on this paper and prevent it from sinking into the water when you step on it, all you have to do, is placed a concentrated amount of Chakra under the paper and stand on it. Essentially you'll be standing on you chakra not the water, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there"
The genins once again looked at Nanashi like he was crazy.
"It'spaper it will sink regardless. It's Fucking Paper AND YOU JUST Put Them On WATER!" Kiba yelled, Voicing everyone else thoughts. Nanashi raised an amused eyebrow, not that they could see it
Nanashi smirked once again proving Kiba wrong as he walked onto the water and placed his leg on top of one of the paper. The paper didn't sink in fact the paper still swayed with the water, it was as if Nanashi wasn't even on it.
"Now it's your turn. You have the remainder of the training to do this. Which is about 5 hours. I don't expect any of you to make that much progress except maybe Hinata, Neji and Sakura. The first two because they've been controlling chakra forever the other one because she has such a small amount of chakra. Good luck." With that Nanashi disappeared.
One by one each genin walked onto the surface of the water before sinking to the bottom, except Naruto, Sasuke and Nami who were already familiar with the water walking technique. However for team 7, keeping the frail piece of paper above water was another story.
5 hours later
Most of the genins were able to walk on the water due to team 7 help, but most had either ran out of Chakra needed to stay a float aftee 2 hours or they just gave up finding it impossible. 5 people remained on the water. Naruto, Sasuke, Neji, Nami, and Shikamaru. Every other genin either chakra exhausted or to tired to continue.
Shikamaru frowned. He was still unable to explain what Nanashi meant by standing on their own chakra. The idea of it was just impossible. How could you stand on something you can't see. Not only that, how will they know when the chakra was dense enough to stand on. Plus chakra wasn't meant to be condensed it was meant to be expelled. Trying to contain it was like trying to stop a waterfall from falling. It was illogical. Sasuke and Neji both had a doujutsu, that should allow them to see the chakra but even they were struggling.
He sighed, he's reached his limit. Walking off the water and promptly falling on his face.
'Troublesome.' Before he drifted off to sleep.
Next was Neji. He just couldn't keep up anymore, he had kept his eyes activated the whole time and still found nothing, walking off the water he sat down. It will be dishonorable to fall unconcious.
Nami frowned, she was exhausted. She even tried sending so much chakra to her feet it will be impossible to sink because the chakra will be so dense, she was wrong. the paper sank even faster. She forgot she was standing on it, the blast of Chakra pushing the paper down. Sighing, she walked over to where Naruto and Sasuke were and sat down. She was done trying for the day, but not learning. She Will get it. She just had to see what other people were doing wrong.
She wasn't disappointed. Both teens were doing terrible. They Were tired just Like her. She had the chakra, but then again their was just so much chakra your body coils could take before it started to hurt. They both seemed to scowl before they stopped and sat down. There they stood all three of them forming a perfect triangle. Naruto sighed getting up.
"Let's go, no doubt kaaaan will be waiting for us. You know how annoyed she gets when we're late for lunch." They all nodded even the stoic Uchiha gulped. Kushina could be really intimidating.
They woke up the other genin and told them they were leaving, telling them to do the same, then they headed in a different direction.
Naruto sighed as he and Nami walked down the street. While he admired the kids behind him tenacity, he was getting sick and tired of being followed.
"You should really do a better job at hiding, rocks don't move." Naruto said, stopping to stare at the out of place rock. The rock seemed to tremble before three kids came out from underneath it.
Naruto sighed, the kids couldn't be older then nine years old. The were each wearing metallic goggles around their head.
"Ne, I knew a ninja of your caliber will be able to see right through our top concealing device." The kid was wearing a royal yellow shirt, Plan kaki shorts, blue sandals and a blue scarf around his neck.
"I'm pretty sure a civilian could see through your device." Naruto smirked at the look of indignation on the kids face.
"What would you know ! Your just a genin! My grandfather was the third Hokage of Konoha! Even he couldn't see through us!" The kid yelled. Naruto raised an eyebrow that was interesting. The grand child of the third hokage. You'll think a kid like that will be locked away in his compound. But he needed to be knocked from that high horse of his.
"Oh? How about a challenge then?" Naruto asked a smirk on his face. The trio of genins face lit up.
"We'll accept any challenge you through at us." Naruto waited to get a reply from the other two and continued when they nodded.
"Fine. Let's have a race. Me and my sister vs you three. First one to the hokage building. That is if your not afraid you'll lose." A sly smirk came onto Naruto face, kids were to easy to rile up.
"You're on!" Before they dashed away. Naruto chuckled.
"Didn't think you had a soft spot for kids Naru-chan." Nami said giggling a little at her brothers antics. Naruto shrugged.
"Might as well have a little fun." They walked in silence for a minute before turning a corner and frowned. One of the kids were being held by the scuff of their shirt. The one holding him was wearing a black pajama, had make up on his face and had a hat that looked like they had cat ears at the top. His suna head band wrapped around his head.
"You twerp, better watch where your going!" The kid yelled.
"Kankuro let him go! Baki told us not to get involved! And what if he sees you doing this!" The girl next to him yelled.
She was wearing a single light purple-coloured, off-the-shoulders garment that extended to halfway down her thighs, with a scarlet sash tied around her waist. In addition to incorporating fishnet worn over her shoulders and legs, specifically on her right calf and her left thigh, she also wore her black forehead protector around her neck.
The kid grunted before releasing the kid, the kid falling with a thud.
"You'll be sorry for that, my grandfather the third hokage of Konoha!" Kankuro grunted as he reached for the kid again.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Naruto looked at Nami weirdly, it wasn't like her to play hero.
"Typical Konoha tree hugger, can't see nobody struggling without wanting to keep the peace." Kankuro shot back. Ignoring the kids for the minute.
"I find that amusing coming from the people that begged us to be allies." Nami shot back. Kankuro scoffed, reaching for the bundle on his back.
"Stop Kankuro it's not worth it." Temari said. Staring at the two genins. The girl was wearing skin tight black leather pants, hugging her Kunochi body snugly. She wore a crop top leather jacket with a crop top white shirt that hovered a little above her navel. She had flowing red hair with violet eyes. The boy was wearing some a little more subtle. He had black pants, that were wrapped in tape at the bottom tucked into his black ninja boots. And he wore a leather Jounin vest over a fish net shirt. His jet black Konoha head band wrapped around his head and the strings fell loosely down his back. His rugged blonde hair spiking in all directions with two bangs framing his face. His piercing Blue eyes never leaving hers.
"Don't worry I'll be gentle." Kankuro said smirking. Naruto frowned, seeing Nami tense up. Placing his hand infront of her.
"How about we settle this a different way. After all we are allies." Naruto interfered. Nami was strong, but this guy seemed to be pretty confident in his fighting skills. Plus fighting outside of the training facility could be taken as an act of war, especially since they were hosting these guest.
"Kankuro shut up, or I'll kill you." A rough voice said, freeing the kid in his tracks. Naruto and Nami looked to the right. Perched on a tree branch upside down was another Suna genin. Judging from the fear he placed into the other two, he must be the leader.
"Yes, I second that motion."
This time it was Sasuke who spoke. He was hanging on the same branch as gaara. A smirk on his face as the reaper blade on his back hung loosely. Gaara didn't seem to pay the Uchiha no mind as be appeared next to his team in a swirl of sand. Temari frowned, looking at the new arrival. He was wearing regular anbu attire except he had a short sleeve black trench coat. She saw what seemed to be a tattoo going down his right arm. It was covered in skulls. And what appeared to be a missing piece before the reaper blade he was carrying exploded into light particles and sunk into his arm. The tattoo now completed.
'He's kind of cute.' Temari said with a blush. She had a thing for bad boys.
"You, what is your name?" Gaara asked. Staring at the Uchiha. Sasuke smirked.
"I am Uchiha Sasuke. You?" The kid looked at him.
"Sabaku no Gaara. I will drench my sand in your blood. Let's go Kankuro Temari." With that the team turned around and left. Naruto released a sigh he didn't know be was holding.
"You should really be less of a show off Sasuke." But it was too late Sasuke was already gone.
"Ne, Nami where are you going?" Naruto asked seeing Nami walking away.
"I'm gonna go talk to mom and dad, they should be in the house right now. You coming?" Nami asked continuing her stroll. Naruto sighed running to catch up to her, before they disappears around the next corner.
"Did they just ignore us?" Konohamaru asked. Letting the question linger Mei sighed.
They've been on the road for roughly 4 days. The trip to Konoha was boring and uneventful. She was currently being carried inside a carriage, she wanted to walk but who would've thought her ninja were so protective. Mei sighed, brushing away her bangs.
"Ao, how much longer?" Mei yelled to her body guard.
"Not much longer Mizukage-sama. I could see the village walls up ahead, apparently we're not the only one, hokage-dono invited." Mei perked up at this.
"You don't say? Who exactly?"
Ao focused his sharingan a little more.
"I'm not sure but it looks like the Raikage, and his group of genin along with a man that has a massive amount of chakra, and a girl that also posses a lot of Chakra but not as much as the other guy. Also, walking about three yards behind us is the sandaime Tsuchikage. He's followed by 3 groups of what I think are genin and two Jounin sensei, and a giant." Ao said. Mei nodded, 4 out of the 5 Kage in the same village, she never would've thought it could happen. Maybe having Konoha as allies won't be that bad. Mei frowned, all this just seemed to convenient.
They arrived at the front door 5 minutes later, followed by the Tsuchikage.
Mei stepped out of her carriage and stretched for the first time. That shit really did a number on someone's back.
"Rikage-sama. It appears the gondaime Mizukage and sandaime Tsuchikage were also invited." Whispered a blonde haired girl.
"A pleasure to finally meet you Mizukage-dono, after the rebellion I didn't think a new Mizukage will be chosen so quickly. I was also not informed you were a girl. My name is A. This is my brother Bee and Yugito Nii along with their teams. Team Bee, team yugito and Team bolt." A said politely. Mei smiled nodding.
"No need to he so formal A. I'm Mei Terumi. I wouldn't expect anyone to know the outcome of the rebellion either, some secrets are good to have. Hello Bee, hello Yugito. This is my security. Ao and chojuro. My genin squad 7,8 and 9." Mei said. She didn't have genins to spare, and while the teams weren't the greatest they were the strongest in their class. Hopefully that was enough.
The Tsuchikage frowned looking at the two Kage talk. Disgraceful. Where was the pride? Where was the sense of dignity? Talking to someone that could very well be your enemy, or was your enemy. These Kage new how many of each other people they have killed and talked like if nothing happened. Just like Konoha. Determining he's seen enough he averted his eyes. Looking over at team Roku and team diamond. Iwa pride. They were undefeated in battle. He looked at Kurotsuchi and Anko and smirked. They Were glaring daggers at the village. He almost felt the need to thank Minato for letting him keep Anko, which reminds me he has something of mine.
"I'm glad to see, you all got here safely." Minato said walking through the gates. He bowed his head to the Kage before raising it. "I welcome you all to Konoha and while you are here I swear to protect you all with my life." Minato said. The other Kage couldn't believe it. Another Kage bowing to another and also saying he will risk his life for them was own heard of.
"Lift your head Hokage-dono. It is unbecoming of a Kage to show such weakness." A said. Minato raised his head and scratched the back of his head sheepishly.
"So that's the guy that killed so many of us back during the war. He doesn't look like much. Maybe they were just under trained back then." Kurotsuchi said, a small laugh coming from the group. Mei frowned, the Tsuchikage should really keep his shinobi in line, A had similar thoughts.
Minato just brushed it off. "Maybe. Now, how about you get yourself settled in. I reserved you all rooms in different hotels around the village. I doubt you want to share the same space or building with each other." Nods coming from the other Kage. "You will all stay at the best of the best, I invite you to visit our famous spas and restaurants, and your genin will all be designed training field for you to train. I had training fields build behind each of your hotels that way you don't
Have to fear being watched or running into my Shinobi." Minato said, earning some more nods from the Kage. They were impressed. after all secrecy was the creed of Shinobi. Minato walked forward handing each group a file.
"These are the chunin exam sheets. You must sign it in order to participate. This will free Konoha from all death that will take place during the exams." He said walking to each group, lingering a little around the Iwa crew his eyes lingering on Anko, who gave him a sly smile.
"Like what you see Hokage-sama?" Anko said. Minato didn't respond.
"My anbu will lead you to your rooms. And also, Tsuchikage - sama I will like to meet with you after you're settled in, Anko as well. That Is if your find with that. My anbu will wait 15 minutes after your settled to bring you to my office if you accept." Before he disappeared in a yellow flash.
"Man that man got some serious speed! But he's no match for Killer bee!" The sunglasses wearing man rapped.
"Let's go bee, and what did I tell you about the rapping."
Mei looked over the the Tsuchikage and realized he was already following the Anbu in.
"Mizukage-sama follow me." The Anbu said. Mai nodded and followed suit.
"The hokage informed me that you have agreed to our alliance, so you will not be followed my Anbu, neither will your team. You are Welcomed to Visit Our libraries. Train in our training grounds and visit our hokage monument." Mei raised an eyebrow. Minato sure worked quick.
"Any restrictions we do have?" Mei asked after all, everything had a limit. The anbu nodded.
"Yes, you are not allowed around the Hyuga clan estate... for obvious reasons." The anbu added. Ao tensed, how did they know that but didn't voice his concerns, sending a look of suspicion in Mei direction which she caught.
"Any reason Anbu-san? Kiri has no prior history with the Hyuga clan." 'That us public knowledge at least.' She kept That part to herself.
"Hokage-sama did not elaborate. We are here, I hope you enjoy your stay. He picked the best hotel for you." Before he disappeared in a lead shushin. Mei frowned, she must've spaced out talking to the man. She looked at the building and smirked. It was beautiful. It wasn't an hotel at all, but a mansion. Went she thought hotel she thought something more normal, not a whole mansion to herself and her Team.
"Let's go inside, I think I actually might like our stay here." The kiri teamed were shocked, the inside was fully furnished.
"We have a pool and a pound in the back, no doubt built for we could practice our water ninjutsu. And the training field is huge not only that there's giant walls surrounding the whole field, nobody could see us." Chojuro said, who already did a quick check of the whole house. Mei nodded.
"Hello Mizukage-sama, I'm Kira. I will be your maid for the rest of the chunin exam, what should I tell the chef you will like to eat?" Mei smiled. She will really, really like it here.
Kumo Team(All teams will stay in the same style mansion.)
Yugito was impressed.
"What did you find Samui?" The other blonde girl smile.
"We Have a decent sized training Grounds, walls that cover everything from sight, well execpt the Anbu that haven't stopped trailing us. You will think they will hide their presence better." Samui scoffed. Yugito sighed.
"Careful, they want you to know they are watching. It's called proactive surveillance, if you know your being watched your less likely to brake any laws." Yugito mentored, Samui nodded, though she still felt it was stupid.
"So we get to take the chunin exam early? Who would've thought? Maybe these little genins could actually prove to be a challenge." Karui added. Her red hair falling freely down her kumo attire. Omoi continued to suck the lollipop in his mouth.
"But what if Konoha gets attacked, and we end up in the cross fire, and we have no choice but to defend Konoha- Wham !"
"Shut up Omoi!" Karui yelled. Omoi rubbed his head.
"It's a possibility" Omoi said. "Imma go train a little."
Yugito sighed. Why couldn't she get stuck with bolt instead of team bee. They didn't even talk without being talked too.
"Good idea Omoi let's all train a little before calling it a night, we've been traveling for days anyways. Tomorrow we'll scout the village.
With Iwa
Onoki smirked as and Anko left through the door to the mansion.
"I am Hawk eye. I will be taking you to the hokage building." The anbu with a hawk in his mask said. Onoki nodded. Anko frowned as she looked at her ex village, she couldn't believe this use to be a place she called home. This village kept letting her down starting with Orochimaru and ending with Minato. Strong people have a habit of leaving once they find something invaluable. The smell of dango hit her nose like a ton of bricks and she almost frowned, before steeling her reserve. This wasn't home anymore. She noticed the looks of recognition she was getting, they must've thought she was killed. It really didn't matter if they thought that really, they were all dead to her. She realized they were finally reaching the hokage building and her heart began to beat faster. This was where she received so many missions, in fact the interrogation room was right below the building hidden deep in the bowls of the building. At one point she could be seen walking proudly into this building but not today, she was going in as an enemy, a foreigner, no longer did her words held weight in the building, and she actually felt sad because of it. She was a traitor.
Onoki frowned as he saw Anko began to shake.
"You are no longer a prisoner Anko. You are a proud jounin of Iwagakure no Sato, where these people threw stone we found a diamond." Onoki said, while he didn't really mean it, he had to use her feelings against her, just like any good leader would. Not to say she wasn't talented cause she was but the girl obviously still cared about her old village.
They were checked into the building with next to no hassle and were lead to the Hokage office with ease. Before they frowned as they heard a conversation going on inside. Deciding that being caught listening in on the convo was to risky they knocked on the door before walking in. Sitting in his chair was Minato a pile of paperwork stacked to unimaginable heights. Onoki smirked. He took a little satisfaction in seeing others suffer the same way he did.
"Welcome Tsuchikage-san, hello Anko-chan." Minato said. His voicing warming up at the end. Anko scoffed.
"Get to the point." She spit out. Minato frowned.
"I guess I owe you an apology. For what its worth I'm sorry it took so long to get in contact with you." Minato said. Anko began to shake.
"THAT'S IT! AFTER ALL THIS TIME THAT IS ALL YOU GO TO SAY. YOU COULD TAKE YOU'RE SORRY AND STICK IT UP WHAT EVER ASS YOU FIND!" Anko yelled.
"Excuse my ninja Hokage-san, she's just a little angry, it won't happen again. Right Anko?" Anko nodded, she could hear the tone in her leaders voice.
"Hai, Tsuchikage-sama." Minato frowned. It seemed Anko has already found another leader.
"Let's not beat around the bush and get straight to business. I want you to return Anko to me as she was a prior Konoha Shinobi and knows village secrets especially since she worked in my IT unit which gave her access to thousands of files." Minato said his voice going into kage mode. Onoki frowned, Anko never mentioned that.
"I could see why you will be concerned but she became a shinobi for my village willingly and now that I know just how valuable she is, I don't think I want to give her up so quickly. She is under my protection." Onoki responded calmly, he's been playing this game to long no way he will be pushed into anything by someone so young.
"You are aware that we have your son. He also has many secrets he could share with us, and I don't even have to torture him, just take a little walk across his mind." Minato said. Onoki frowned he was fully aware of the Yamanaka clan and their mystical capabilities.
"But my son is still under my protection unlike Anko, and doing what you are implying could be seen as an act of war on Konoha's part." Onoki added his voice turning cold. Minato nodded.
"But we have a copy of your bingo book that saids you marked your son as deceased. Meaning he has ceased being under your protection, so basically we have a dead ninja that was buried alive. While Anko never retired from our ranks and is still listed as an Konoha shinobi, and if we were to take this issue to our respective daimyo I don't think they will share your same sentiments." Minato responded. He was no full, playing mind games with a veteran kage was not smart but he really did owe it to Anko. While the girl didn't know it yet, he could clearly see through Onoki intentions. Anko was a means to an ends for him, and will probably be killed eventually.
Onoki rubbed his chin.
"I could see you've thought about this long and hard, but you fail to realize that she is also registered under my village, she chose to abandon her village and come to us. It is not my fault you gave up such a nice gem and didn't realize its beauty till it was too late. If anything shes just a missing nin in your books, and you know how daimyo feel about missing nins. Especially from Konoha, who has produced the most powerful ones like Madara and Itachi." Onoki said. Minato looked at Anko.
"I'm sorry Anko but I can't let him keep doing this to you." Before he appeared and slammed his hand into Anko chest. Anko couldn't believe this was how she died. Before she realized she was feeling no pain. looking down she saw a small glow coming from her chest before Minato removed his hand showing a small seal appear with the iwa signature.
"This is a seal placed on all prisoners of Iwa. It allows the Kage of the village to easily kill an individual shall they do anything to reckless. It was placed on you the moment they found you passed out on the ground, and since it hasn't been removed I guess the Tsuchikage still doesn't consider you a true Iwa shinobi as a kage will never leave something like that on any one under their protection." Minato said moving back to his seat. Onoki frowned, while he didn't care about Anko personal feelins he did about Kurotsuchi.
"He's lying isn't he Old man?" Anko asked her hair hanging over her eyes. Hearing no response her hands clenched.
"So heres the deal. I already have your son being escorted to your hotel. Anko will not be returning with you. And we'll pretend like this meeting never happened. But that's up to you. If you refuse I doubt Anko will want to go with you regardless and I will just have your son returned to his cell to rot for the rest of his life." Minato said coldly, but in the inside he was a little sadden he had to play hard ball. Manipulating peoples feelings and using family was leaving a nasty taste in his mouth. Maybe it was time he stepped down and let someone take his place. That will make him the shortest reigning kage in history, but he didn't give a fuck.
"I guess Sarutobi taught you well. Very well. Anko will be released from her position as my Shinobi and will be returned to you. And I will meet my son at my hotel. Good afternoon Hokage-san my body aches, I am a old man after all." With that the old kage left the room, leaving Anko behind.
Minato frowned when he heard the door click close and Anko didn't move. Her shoulders shaking.
"Why doesn't anyone want me? Why am I so useless? I've been sold twice, and now this? I can't trust no one." Anko whispered, before she got the shock of her life when she felt to strong arms around her. Minato couldn't help it, seeing Anko so distraught brought out his father instincts.
"I care about you." Minato said, before ending the hug. "Your old apartment is still yours I made sure of that, and I actually have a favor to ask of you if you don't mind." Anko looked at him weirdly.
"Which is?"
"Ever thought about being a proctor?"
Naruto frowned as he saw the many stands and people outside. Today was the say huh? The day he was sent away, the day his parents started knitting their hate. The day he met his sister. Today was his birthday. Or as they like to call it. The day the Yondaime beat the Kyuubi. He's had many birthday party and if he was correct his mom and Nami were probably baking the cake and inviting their friends and some of the clan heads over to celebrate. It was all the same every year. He frowned as he remembered the last conversation he had with the beast within him, it must've been about 5 months ago. Maybe I should pay it a visit. He looked at the hokage monument and smiled. 'perfect' before he shushin away. He arrived couple of seconds later, he felt on top of the world looking over the entire village. Sitting down cross legged on top of his father head he closed his eyes and tried to reach for the farthest corners of his mind.
Mindscrape
Naruto shuddered he forgot about the snow the 'demoness' asked for all those months ago. Looking over at the large castle he began his walk. He debated stopping the snow and turning it into a beach but he knew that will piss off the beast. He arrived at the castle thirty minutes later. He gave the giant wooden doors a couple of knocks before he heard rumbling, before the door fell forward, almost flattening him had he not jumped away.
"Ah, so my jailer has finally returned. To think he will bless me with his presence, especially on this day. Came here to mock me?" Naruto smirked hearing the female voice. Standing at the door was the still female Kyuubi. Dress in a red kimono.
"I never said you had to keep that form? Maybe you like being a girl. Which will explain why you're so moody. What time of the month?" Naruto shot back. Walking across the wooden door and pass the still shocked Kyuubi. The house looked just like his which caused him to raise an eyebrow.
"You could only make things in your mind that you relate too. This is why the castle looks like your house, you must've designed it unconsciously." Kyuubi said. Naruto nodded sitting on the dinner table, with Kyuubi sitting across from him. Naruto got bored after a minute and created himself some tea and began to sip it quietly, taking glances at Kyuubi every other second as he appeared to be lost in thought. Kyuubi grew tired of the waiting.
"Out with it boy, my patience grows thin." Kyuubi snapped. It's voice booming at the end. Naruto sipped the remainder of his tea before giving Kyuubi his undivided attention.
"I want answers." Naruto started. Causing the Kyuubi to raise an eyebrow.
"And you assume I have them?" Naruto shook his head.
"I know you have them. And your going to tell me." Naruto said. Kyuubi snarled.
"What are you gonna do? make me?" Naruto shook his head again.
"No, but if you don't theirs a giant possibility we will die." Naruto said, taking Kyuubi silence as a hint to continue. "I'm sure you over heard what Nanashi told us today about the son of the six path and my connection to them. I want to know history from a source that was actually their to witness it, and since Asura wants to play ghost I have to rely on you." Naruto said, Kyuubi stared at him for a minute making him uncomfortable. While he knew the Kyuubi couldn't hurt him, the look he was getting was telling another story.
"The sage was a powerful man. The strongest man to ever walk the earth. And yes Nanashi was right about everything." Kyuubi said. When she didn't continue Naruto frowned.
"Care to elaborate?" Kyuubi shook his head.
"The sage is a touchy subject for me. Anyways, I'm not as old as you think. Only a couple hundred years. and I've been sealed in an Uzumaki for 100 plus years. So if you came here for another history lesson you are going to be highly disappointed." Naruto frowned he was really hoping to learn something new.
"Wait you've been in another person body?" Naruto said, catching what the demon said. The Kyuubi nodded.
"Yes. Why? Are you jealous? After all you are already sharing me with your sister." The Kyuubi smirked when she saw Naruto face light up after the innuendo with his sister.
"Baka fox. Who was she? Besides my mother I mean?" The Kyuubi cupped its cheek as if trying to remember something.
"I think her name was Mito Uzumaki. She didn't interact much with me. The one time she did she went on a rant about the only way to control me was with love, then I never saw her again till I was released and then resealed in your mother. I guess you could say she was strong as she never tapped into my chakra, but then again you don't either and your far from strong. Talented but not strong." Kyuubi said more to itself then to anything. Naruto frowned.
"So was she right? Is the only way to calm your hatred with love?" Kyuubi frowned.
"The amount of love needed to match my hatred is not plausible in a human. Especially not a ninja." Kyuubi said. Naruto raised an eyebrow.
"So if I manage to get enough love I could beat you." Kyuubi laughed. "What's so funny?"
"You got guts kid, I'll give you that. You have notched up a couple points of respect in my book but your sister will probably beat me before you do. If what I feel from my other half if correct." Kyuubi added. Naruto raised an eyebrow.
"How so?" Kyuubi got up and walked till it was infront of Naruto before tapping his chest, where his heart is.
"Because you still have hate in your heart, and I could feel it bubbling up waiting to come out. While Nami has next to none. The only way you can change my hate and feel true love will be if you are willing to let go of those feelings of hate, and then you can come back to me and taste true power. Now leave me." Before the Kyuubi sunk his claws through Naruto chest and Naruto disappeared.
Leaving the Kyuubi alone in its castle.
"You're as dark as always Kurama." The Kyuubi immediately knelt and lowered his head.
"I'm sorry father, but this world... its not what you envisioned it to be." The figure nodded before tapping the Kyuubi on its head.
"Yes, but you and your brothers along with these kids will make it be."
Naruto jolted awake feeling his chest and sighing when he registered no blood. He must've been gone for awhile as the village was know lit up as the blue sky was now pitch black, the village was bright and music was heard throughout the streets, before the fireworks began to pop.
"You should really try to hide better Hinata." Naruto said. A Couple of seconds later he was approached by the blue haired girl. He noticed she was wearing the blue rose he gave her on her left ear.
"You told me as long as this rose don't die, I will always have a part of you Naruto-kun." Hinata barely whispered but Naruto trained ears caught it none the less.
"That must've been years ago." Hinata nodded. before catching Naruto by surprise when she clung to his arm and laid her head on his shoulder.
"I never did got to thank you, since after that you turned cold and blocked everyone out and trained and when you wasn't training you was away on missions." Naruto nodded, a little sad he went through that rough time period. "But threw out all of that, the rose never dried up or died. Reassuring me you was alright." She said. Naruto just listened as he felt his head get light and his heart compress and the pit of his stomach fill with butterflies.
"You were my pillar of strength you invited me to train with you, and actually helped me get stronger and you never criticized me. You was my first friend. All these years later and you've gotten even stronger, and I've gotten stronger because you gave me the confidence to believe in myself. And for that I thank you and want to give you this as a token of my appreciation." Hinata said turning Naruto for he could face her.
"Listen Hinata, I appreciate the words but you don't got to give m-"Before he could continue he felt warm soft lips pressed against his. The fireworks chose that moment to climax as they began to fill the sky with different colors. He felt Hinata press tighter and almost forgot he wasn't returning the kiss. Before he smiled, maybe he could get lost in the moment too. Her lips were perfect, her lips were gentle and with her eyes closed he could barely hold the feeling of being in the presence of a princess.
They broke apart when they heard several people approaching. They turned their heads to see Minato, Nami, Kushina, Sasuke and Nanashi walking towards them.
"We've been looking for you, its not like you to run off on your birthday and leave us waiting."Kushina said giving him one of those mother stares before noticing Hinata and smiled, "But then again we could forgive this since you're with your girlfriend." Causing the teens to blush. They approached the two and stared over the village. Nami took this moment to rest her head on Sasuke shoulder, causing the Uchiha to blush a little. Kushina watched her kids next to Minato as they saw them enjoying the view before she felt a hand encompass hers and she smiled. Minato smiled too. as he felt Kushina lay her head on his shoulder and interlock their fingers.
"Maybe this once, we can pretend we're a big happy family." Kushina said. Minato just nodded.
Naruto smiled before he looked over at Nami and saw her looking at him, before they're eyes glowed and his necklace and her bracelet glowed too. They saw images of them looking at each other when they were babys.
"Happy birthday Neesan." Naruto said.
"Happy birthday Oniisan."
So we finally get to see some LOVE. As the family has seem to figure it out. Some NaruHina. Which will develop on its own.
