Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto

Sup, I guess introductions are in order. Time to reveal the teams for each village. I hope you like them.

The 'kazekage' repressed a smirk as he stared into the icy blue eyes of Minato Namikaze, known as konoha most deadly shinobi, the man who singlehandedly killed of a whole platoon of Iwa forces, he has more then 3,000 confirmed kills, 64 D-ranks, 54 C-ranks, 70 B-ranks, 92 A-ranks, and 9 S-ranks missions. All completed during the last war, he was known for his unmatchable speed. This very man, this monster that stood in front of him, but he couldn't really call anyone a monster now could he? After all monsters get along with monsters.

"-ways, I think you will love the place I have set up for you, you're a little late since all the other kages got here 2 weeks ago." Minato finished. The kazekage nodded, he was to caught up in his own thoughts to catch what the man said but it didn't matter, why listen to a dead man anyways? Shoving those thoughts aside he continued.

"I'm sorry about that, there was a terrible sand storm and we had to wait for it to pass, after all passing through the demon deserts in such conditions will be life threatening even for a guy like me." The kazekage lied smoothly, his silver tongue coming in handy in almost all situations. Minato nodded, he had his share of sand storms especially during the last war, he was picking sand out of his ass for days.

"I see you've brought the remaining genin for your squad?" Minato said looking behind the Kazekage.

"Oh yes, I'm sorry I couldn't match your equivalent of 15 genins but Suna hasn't recovered as fast as Konoha did, infact these genins weren't suppose to take the exam for another 2 years. Not because they weren't ready, but because I wanted them to go through a little more training, I Promise they will not disappoint." The Kazekage said, the genins beaming at the compliment from their leader. Minato sighed as he laid back into his chair.

"Don't worry, you are not the only ones, Every other village was only able to send 9 genins. Which is a hindrance but not a giant problem." Minato said, Konoha was so far the only village with the necessary 15 genins. He didn't take into consideration the fact that other villages didn't have the Shinobi resources Konoha had. This will give them the advantage. He contemplated changing the rules but decided against it, coming up with a whole new formula will take time, and that was something he just didn't have anymore.

"Will you be withdrawing any genins from your village, to make it fair?" The Kazekage asked. Minato shook his head.

"No, I have faith in my Shinobi's." Minato said. The Kazekage frowned, but inside he had a shit eating grin.

'You fool, just like my ex sensei, having so much faith in his people. Now I know Sasuke-kun will remain in the exams.'

"As we all. If you don't mind I will be taking my leave." The Kazekage said as he turned to leave.

"You can, but my Anbu will have to take your team to the Arena. The chunin exam were pushed forward and should be starting in about 25 minutes. I already invited the other Kages to come watch it with me, but if you're tired from your travel I will understand." Minato said.

The genins all looked surprise, they wouldn't even be able to rest? The Kazekage frowned. He thought he was going to be able to talk to Kabuto before anything started.

"I see, can't you delay it for a couple of hours, after all it wouldn't be fare if they took the exam tired." The Kazekage said, trying to play the Hokage heart strings, knowing how soft Konoha shinobi's were.

"No. I understand your situation but in the life of Shinobi you wont always be alerted when something happens, meaning you won't always be at full strength. We should head out, I'll take you there myself, after all I got to tell them the rules." Minato said as he got off his seat, he stretched his body a little, before walking over to the closet and threw on his cape.

"I see, well, I guess it can't be helped." The Kazekage stated, smiling when he saw Minato pull out a tri-pong Kunai.

"I'm glad you see it my way, Kazekage-Dono. Grab your hands and hold on to me." They nodded as they clutched each other, then in a flash they were gone.

Chunin exam stadium

Shikamaru frowned as he looked around.

"What has you so worked up Shika? What?! Don't tell me you're nervous?" Ino taunted with a smirk. "Don't worry Mama's here, I won't let anything happen to you." Ino teased as she smirked at her friend, Ino eye began to twitch as Shikamaru continued to look around the room and ignored her. She went to hit him over the head but the moment she tried to lift her arm, she couldn't move.

"LET ME GO SHIKA!" Ino shouted as she realized her shadow linked with Shikamaru.

"Look around Ino, how many genins are here besides our own?" Ino raised an eyebrow.

"What does that have to do with anything?" Ino asked. Shikamaru sighed.

"Just do it, stop being so troublesome." Ino looked around and nodded.

"75. Happy now? Let me go!" Shikamaru nodded as he released his hold on the girl.

"Exactly. Theirs nine from each village, and only 3 from suna. We have 15 genins." Shikamaru stated as he turned his head towards Naruto, who was looking over at the team from Kiri.

"So?" Kiba interrupted, jumping into their conversation. Shikamaru sighed, before turning towards Nami.

"Why don't you explain it Nami-san, after all, I know you realized it too." Nami nodded.

"We have 6 more genins then every other village. that's 2 more squads then the rest. They all brought 3 squads, we brought 5. If this was your regular Chunin exam it would've been fine as the host village always has the most participants. This is not your regular chunin exam, we have a point system. 20 for deaths, 15 for knockouts, and 10 for anything else. We have 15 people they have 9. meaning they will be harder to find, especially if they decide to separate. They have the potential to find and kill 5 of ours before we could kill 5 of theirs. Meaning we will have to re-plan our whole strategy, as staying together like we were planning will no longer work in out favor. while we could defeat them with numbers, we got to remember, they have more targets then we do. It'll be guerilla warfare, all they have to do is hide and pick us out 1 by 1. but if we separate, we will even the playing fields, we could also cover more grounds, and eliminate more people." Nami said, realizing she caught the attention of everyone in the room. Except Naruto who was still making eye contact with a Kiri genin.

"But I thought Sensei said every village will be the same?" Ino said, getting a little nervous after what she heard, then getting scared when she realize they will have to split up, and no doubt Nami, Sauske, and Naruto will end up on the same squad.

"You guys should really learn how to discuss things in private, but what else could you expect from fresh genins?" A grey haired kid with glassed said. He wore the village insignia, Sakura smiled at her old squad member.

"Kabuto? I haven't seen you guys in weeks, what was Sensei teaching you? I bet you got super strong." Sakura said, as she smiled at her old teammate. Kabuto laughed as he scratched the back of his head.

"Yeah, I guess you could say that." Sakura nodded.

"Man, this will be your, what? 6th time taking this exam? I know you suck but come on,this can't be that hard. After all you got information on everything." Sakura said, looking at her former teammate. They we're the last team, otherwise known as the reserve squad.

"I wouldn't say everything but I do got a good amount of information" Kabuto replied.

"Since you are all Konoha Shinobi why don't I share some with you." Kabuto said as he pulled out some cards from his pocket. "These are chakra information cards, only my chakra could activate them, all you got to do is tell me a name or their village, even a description of how the person looks and I could help you." Kabuto said smiling.

Nami nodded, something seemed off about this guy, but information was something as a leader she couldn't pass up, and their was one team on her mind.

"That Taki team, the girl with the green hair, what could you tell me about her?" At this the green haired girl jumped and began to run towards the Konoha team before she was tackled by two guys, but she easily brushed them off, pushing them into a wall, before she appeared next to Nami.

"Yay! I wanna see! Show me too! Want to be friends?!" She asked excitedly. Kabuto raised an eyebrow but continued as he pulled a card from his desk.

"Your name is Fuu, your teammates are Kegon and Yoro, you are a Taki ninja. This is your first chunin exam even though you've been a genin for 6 years. You have no mission history, it saids here you have never left the village before coming here. But your village has you as extremely dangerous, run on sight. That's pretty much it. Everyone else they sent is low genin, and to be honest, I don't see you getting passed the first test." Kabuto said as he looked at the card and read it over.

"No mission history? But she;s considered dangerous. Why the hell will they send you anyways? Your Kage must not like you, sending you to your death and all." Kiba said. Nami chided Kiba for his rude words, but internally she felt the same way.

"OH, OH, OH, I KNOW, IT'S BECAU-" Before she was tackled to the floor and her mouth covered.

"Sorry for that she could be a little feisty." Before the her two teammates dragged her away. Nami nodded. She was a dead end, and she still couldn't shake that feeling she got from the girl, it got even worst when she got closer. Sasuke seemed to have snapped out of his stupor as he walked forward.

"How about Sabaku no Gaara? And the whole sand team." Sasuke asked. Kabuto nodded, before looking over at the sand team and realized their was now 9 genins instead of three like before. They must have walked in when Fuu was bouncing around.

"Gaara, son of the Yondaime Kazekage, has completed 10 D-ranks, 4 C-ranks and 1 B-ranks. He has come back from every mission on scathed. Mission history are all successful, his teammate are Kankuro and Temari. Kankuro a genius in Suna Famous puppetry, and is known to use poisons in his attacks, mission history is the same and also has come back on scathed. Temari wind user like many in Suna, and not much else is known about her." Sasuke nodded, the ones around the room listening in were looking at Gara a little intimidated.

"The other 6 are Pakura, also known as Scorcher. Kekkei Genkai that lets her mix her fire and wind affinities to make Scorch. Extremely good at short range melee, and from her affinities you could assume shes also has some range techniques. Shes been a genin for 4 years and was placed in this team to attend this chunin exam, her skills are said to range from low jounin to high chunin, the other one Daimaru, he has no true talent, except for his red dust cloud technique, he also has super human strength and is known to use the ground to his advantage. The last member of this squad, Rino extremely intelligent and is the brain of the group, nothing else is known about him. the last three only have one that is a must know, and that's Shira, capable of bending sand, super strong and is hot headed, the other two are useless Rome and Yomei."

Sasuke nodded, before going back at the ceiling.

"How about Team 7." This brought the Konoha team out of their musing as a blue haired girl from Ame approached. Nami narrowed her eyes but didn't bother interrupting after all a good leader must also know what information the enemies has on them.

"I usually only help members from my village but why not. But I hope you don't mind if after I tell you their information I tell them yours?" Sorrow shook her head.

"No, that's fine do as you please." Kabuto nodded, taking out another card.

"Team 7 consisting of Naruto Uzumaki NamiKaze, Nami Uzumaki Namikaze, and Sasuke Uchiha. They have 5 D-ranks, 2- C-ranks, and 1-A rank. They are extremely dangerous individually and are even more dangerous together. Naruto is the heir to the throne of Uzushirogakure, and Nami is the the future clan head of the Namikaze clan, and Sasuke the Uchiha. Naruto holds a Kekkei Genkai but not much is known about it, except that its visual. He holds the Uzumaki Zaga sword, legend has it that it could cut through the scales of a dragon and produce fire so hot that the metal melts and only a seal prevents it from falling to the ground. He also holds the dead demon summoning scroll which he carries on his back, another Uzumaki artifact but unlike the sword, no one knows what the scrolls does. He is a sword master so engaging him 1 on 1 will most likely be suicide, and this goes for every member of team 7. He's has a wind affinity, but has also been seen doing fire and water jutsu, though both affinities pale in comparison to his wind techniques. He also seems to be very proficient in Ninjutsu like his father as he has created three techniques, but has never been seen using them." The whole room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Sorrow broke the silence.

"And the other two?" Kabuto nodded.

"Nami, she has a fire affinity, and is said to be the second coming of the yondaime, she is a taijutsu expert falling behind Gai, but that has not been confirmed. She's probably the most deadly in the squad as shes never taken anyone serious in a fight, but when she does the fight ends almost immediately. She is cunning able to analyze all her opponents and letting them reveal their powers before releasing hers. She also seems to have a good tongue, as she could easily trick enemies into giving her information she needs, she doesn't like fighting but is more then willing to jump into a fray if their is no other choice. She also seemed to be extremely strong, being capable of braking through anything with a single blow. Her ninjutsu is sub par choosing to use only 3-5 jutsu. One of them being her fathers Rasengan, which she mastered alone. She also has a Kekkei Genkai, but no one knows what it is. Except that she grows scales." Kabuto finished, Sorrow smiled as she filed that off for later.

"And finally Sasuke, he is a prodigy even among the Uchiha, he was able to master the fireball jutsu when he was 8, and activate his Sharingan when he was 9. He's incredibly fast and like the other members of team 7 he doesn't take his opponents to serious, he's mid chunin level at gen jutsu but doesn't use it. He has a countless amount of nin jutsu being a ninjutsu expert, he uses a reaper blade but not much is known about it. Not much else is known about him as he doesn't associate himself with a lot of people and no one sees him train as he never leaves the Uzumaki estate where he lives at. He is the most dangerous as information on his is slim." Kabuto finished. The whole room now had a target.

"Now it's your turn." Kabuto said. Sorrow shrugged as she began to walk away.

"Good luck." She left that hanging in the air as Kabuto pullled out another card, only to narrow his eyes.

"Out with it Four eyes." Kiba yelled, a little peeved that everyone in the room was now looking at Konoha like fresh meat.

"It's blank." Kabuto said. He looked at the card closer and sighed. 'She was able to block my chakra from unlocking her card, without alerting anyone else in the room. Kuku, I guess Lord Orochimaru will love to find out that small feature.'

"Why don't you take a picture, it'll last longer." This snapped the Konoha group out of their musing as they glared at the new voice. She was tall easily 5'10 something extremely unusual. She had short brown hair, that didn't seem to match her light blue eyes. She was wearing regular shinobi wear, her mist insignia carved into a medal plate on her flak jacket.

"Nanami you should really control your temper, after all you heard what that guy just said about him." Another kid said, he had spiky pale blue hair, a blue turtle neck with a vest over it, black and white pajama pants.

"Don't tell me you're scared of him now Chojuro-kun?" The girl mocked, a small smile on her face. Chojuro tried and failed to hide his blush.

"N-no y-you see, I just don't want to draw anymore attention to us." Chojuro choked out.

"Mist Shinobi? I thought you were in the middle of civil war." Shikamaru said. An instant amount of Killing intent filled the room.

"Please don't mention that again." The girl said, her voice taking on a colder tone. Naruto finally stopped staring and looked over at the brown headed girl.

"I'm sorry for staring, I was just surprised to see an old friend, right Haku?" Naruto said looking at the the final member of the mist squad. The girl smiled as she removed her hoodie.

"I didn't think you would've been able to detect me so easily Naruto-kun, but I expect nothing else from you." Haku said before she tackled Naruto into a hug knocking him to the floor.

"Thank you! Thank you so much Naruto-sama, if it wasn't for your quick thinking me and Zabuza-sensei wouldn't have been able to be here right now. Thank you." The girl said as tears began to flow down her cheeks, Naruto was still a little shock from the hug but smiled and tighten the hug.

"You don't have to thank me, after all. Aren't we all just planning to find a place called home." Naruto whispered smoothly into the girls ears, they stood for a couple more seconds before Naruto had to let go, when he felt Hinata eyes glaring.

"What is she talking about Naruto? I was there in wave and I don't remember you doing anything." Nami asked, as she looked at the two. Naruto shrugged.

"Good. If you did my plan wouldn't have worked." Naruto said. Haku looked at Naruto quizzically.

"You mean they don't know?" Haku asked. Naruto shook his head, before he easily caught a Kunai aimed at his head, before launching it back in the direction it came, a clang was heard before the sound of metal hitting pavement echoed across the room. The whole room now in high alert with killing intent being blasted and weapons of all types being held.

All the stares were now directed at the team from Sound. The sound genin didn't seem to care about the glares as he looked around.

"I guess the man wasn't lying, you are good." The kid said as he looked approvingly at Naruto, those were his last words in this world as the next second his head rolled on the floor.

"20 points less for Sound, plus an extra 20 points penalty for attacking a genin without permission. That brings Sound total to 60, any more violations and you will be disqualified. Kushina please refrain from killing another Genin, it doesn't look good on paper." Minato said as he continued to look down at a scroll on his hand, not even sparing a glance in the direction of the genin. The other Kages standing behind him, looked at Kushina disapprovingly.

"Sorry I couldn't help it, if my sochi would've been anyone else he would be dead right now." Kushina said as she rubbed the back of her head.

"MOOOM! Now you made me look like a mama's boy in-front of all my new friends! Now I gotta start from the beginning again!" Naruto pouted as fake tears began to roll down his face. Kushina played along as she appeared in front of Naruto and patted his head.

"There, there Naru-kun, I'm sure everyone is still afraid of you." Kushina said as she continued to pat Naruto head.

"That's enough Kushina, you're my Jounin commander, start acting like one, especially after you begged me to let you participate in these exams for months!" Minato yelled as the embarrassment was becoming to much.

"and she calls me the immature one.' Minato thought.

Kushina smiled as she kissed Naruto on the forehead, doing the same with Nami and Sasuke the later spurting a blush, before she wished them good luck and appeared back on stage with Minato.

"Did that just happen?" One nameless genin asked. But nobody answered at the Hokage cleared his throat.

"Welcome to Konoha, I'm sure you're jounin senseis have explained the rules to you, so I won't repeat them. If they didn't well its to bad, an unprepared shinobi is a dead one, remember that. Anyways, this is how the exam works, you will have a tracker placed on you, this tracker will be inserted into you and it will work as a chip, its main purpose allows us to know exactly where you are at all times, so trying to leave the examination area will be impossible." Minato began was cut off.

"WAIT! We never agreed to that! I refuse to let you Konoha scum put anything inside me." An Iwa genin yelled, he was muscular and like most Iwa shinobi he was talk first then think.

Minato laced the genin with a glare that could freeze hell. "Then quit." Was his simple response before he cleared his throat, leaving the genin frozen in fear.

"Anyways, once you are inside the arena everything is allowed, from killing, to rape, to torture and anything your sick minds could come up with, as long as it lets you reach your goal. If I were you I will treat these exams like a battlefield and not a test, these exams are a replacement for war, if you are weak then you will lose, losing brings many consequences and in the end your actions will be reflected on your village." Minato said giving the crowd a minute to process what was said. The female genin in the group tensed at the mention of rape, while others smiled at the rules.

"There is no objective, you are not delivering a scroll, there is no safe heaven, you will be outside for the next 3 days. Nothing but you, your teams, your courage and your will to survive. You will be tested by the environment, in these three days you will experience the weather of each of the hidden villages, you will be placed in the frigid cold of the hidden cloud, the humid temperature of the mist, the burning sun of Konoha, the rocky unforgiving terrain of Iwa, and many more." Minato once again stopped, smiling when he felt the Kages behind them tense up.

"I guess I should've told them that earlier, anyways these are my exams and I control everything.'

"You will all be assigned a gate, from there you will enter the exam, and these gates will be shared, 2 teams from different villages per gate." This caused even more discomfort as the genins mind were racing in the many ways they could kill off the other team.

Naruto frowned at this. Why will Minato let them all train together, build teamwork and then put them in this type of situation. Minato smiled as he saw Naruto look at him strangely. Before he disappeared in a flash of yellow, before appearing back in his spot on the stage. All the genins holding their arms in discomfort.

"That was the tracking chip, it will self eject from your bodies in three days time. If you try to remove it before hand, well, good luck. I also placed a number on your shoulder each number has a gate. The ones with 1 written on your shoulder will walk to the first gate along with the team that has 2 written on them. That's one squad of 1's and one squad of 2's. In total 6 genins. 3 and 3." All the genins nodded.

Shikamaru was frowning, just like he thought. All the teams were paired in the same squad, 7,8,9,10, and 11. He looked at his shoulder and saw 4, he was going to share his gate with Haku team who had 5. Him, Ino and Chouji could take them, but how could you be sure when you don't know the other team.

Naruto frowned when he saw 1 written on his shoulder, the same as Nami and Sasuke. While he didn't mind being with his team, he just couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. Then he frowned deepen when he notice a team from Iwa had number 2.

"Don't lose your temper Naruto." Sasuke said, fully aware of what was going through Naruto mind.

"Too late." Naruto said. Nami sighed, why couldn't they be paired with a team that wasn't the cause of his brothers anger.

'I guess his dream of avenging his clan, hasn't been forgotten.'

"You have 5 minutes to make it to your gate, when everyone is settled you will hear a countdown and the test will be begin. Good luck, and remember the Fire Shadow illuminates the village." With that Minato and the Kage were sucked into the ground.

All teams raced too their gates, it took them about 5 minutes to be ready.

Team 7.

Naruto was glaring straight at the Iwa genin, who were returning his glare with a smile.

"Isn't that one of the few Uzumaki we left alive, man I wished they were all dead." One Iwa girl said. Nami sighed when she felt Naruto body twitch.

'poor girl, she just dug her own hole.'

Sasuke eyes narrowed, as he could actually feel Naruto anger through their links.

Team 8

Hinata frowned when she noticed she was paired with the team from Ame, that had the blue haired girl.

The ame team didn't bother sparing the other team a glance.

Team 9

Neji frowned as he looked at the team from the hidden cloud. Especially at the tallest of them all, she looked so calm and her blonde hair and blue eyes reminded him to much of Naruto, the fact that they were all close range fighters brought a small smile to his face.

"Interesting."

Team 10.

Shikamaru frowned as he continued to look at his 'enemies'.

"Don't worry Nara-san, I will not be fighting you. I owe to much to Naruto-san to kill his teammates, plus he told me to leave you guys alone." Haku said, seeing the troubled look on the genin. Shikamaru nodded, but he didn't drop his guard, only an idiot will drop his guard after a few choice words.

Team 11.

Sakura sighed, while her team wasn't weak, Kabuto was actually pretty strong she just hated not being with team 7. But she still had a job to do, no way she was gonna let her training go to waste. She looked over at the Suna team next to her and smiled, she was a little happy it wasn't the team with the Kazegake kids.

Team diamond.

The Iwa trio stood silent as they looked on ahead, paying no attention to the team from the hidden star village next to them. They will die eventually.

Team bolt.

The Cloud genin all stood at attention as their white mask gave nothing away, they stared at the team from Suna who had the Kazekages kids.

Gaara didn't spare them a glance as he continued to look at the close gate.

"3" A robotic feminine voice rung across the whole arena.

"2" Everyone tensed.

"1"

Kage viewing room.

"Let the games begin." Minato said as he laid back into his chair, the other Kages sitting in similar chairs behind him, the room wasn't to large just a regular room with 5 seats for each kage, two bodyguards guards behind each seat, as they looked into a giant monitor that had cameras of every team. Before Minato smirked as he channeled some Chakra into this chair and it slid backwards to give him more of comfort, as it reclined. The other kages raised an eyebrow.

"You seemed pretty relaxed for a guy with 5 teams with their life on the line." Onoki said, but also reclined, after all he did have a bad back. Minato shrugged.

"Who said I relaxed? I'm looking at the monitor on the ceilings, these monitors lets me focus on one team instead of all of them." The kages looked up and just like Minato said, their was 5 individual monitors right above each kage.

"I see Konoha went all out this year." Mei said as she reclined her chair and changed the monitor to team Chojuro. This was the team she wanted to survive the most.

Minato chuckled.

"You have no idea." Letting that stay in the air, all Kages stood quiet as the countdown began, and ended. It was time to see who had the strongest future generation of Ninja.

Jounin center.

Kushina smirked as she looked at the screen. There was 10 screens, each with a village written on them, after that you had a headshot of each genin participating from each village, she noticed that as soon as the exam started some heads disappeared. So far the five main villages had all their genins, then their was places like Taki who lost 1, and teams like oto who were the first to be eliminated.

'I guess I played a hand in that.' Kushina thought smirking. She looked at the Konoha monitor and frowned when she noticed Naruto receive a check next to his name.

"1 kill already. He must really hate Iwa." Kakashi said as he stood next to Kushina also looking at his team. Kushina nodded.

"I just hope he doesn't let his anger blind him, and try to chase down every Iwa genin he sees." Kushina said frowning. Kakashi shrugged.

"Even if he does-" Kakashi began but was cut off.

"Yes, I know. Even if he does, it wont affect him much, but I ain't talking about physically. I know he's more then capable of taking all of them out, I trained him you know." Kushina said with unhidden pride in her voice. "I just don't want him to hold a grudge, a grudge was what got Uzushirogakure destroyed. If he kills them all, they will just chase him down forever. It'll be an endless cycle." Kushina whispered, her frown depend when another check appeared next to Naruto name. two down.

"Well that brings Iwa down to 30. He killed the first one, and knocked out the second one, I guess you were worrying for nothing." Kakashi couldn't help the smile from reaching his eyes when he noticed that 10 minutes into the exam and Konoha was the only one left with all 15 participants.

"Maybe, we'll see." Kushina said as she turned away from the screen and walked away.

"Any specific place?" Kakashi asked. Kushina shook her head.

"No, I'm just tired of seeing little kids die." With that Kushina exited the room.

Kakashi shrugged as he went back to looking at the screen, specifically at the team from Taki. There was 9 members, now it was down to 3. While that wasn't impossible after all they could all be knocked out and that will only bring their totals from 100 down to 40. It just didn't add up, didn't feel right. Not one of them was killed. Kakashi looked at the screen more closely, looking at the green haired girl, remembering a file he read on her.

'No mission history, but was sent to participate.' Kakashi fronwed. What is your plan Taki?

Team Fuu

"Good job Fuu, I didn't think this was going to work at first." Kegon said as he looked at the 6 bodies in front of him. 6 unconscious Taki genin laid on the floor in front of him. To think placing a reverse summoning spell on each genin and then summoning to their location, then Fuu proceed to knock them all out, was genius. This allowed Taki to not only keep its genins, but also left the strongest team, also making it nearly impossible to find them. Now all they had to do was find a hiding spot and wait out the 3 days.

"Yeah, yeah, I told you I'm super fucking awesome!" Fuu said as she proceed to pretend she was an airplane and run around the clearing. Kegon sweet dropped, before he took out a scroll, laid it over the bodies of the Taki ninja.

"Seal." With a puff of smoke the bodies disappeared.

"Take this Fuu, and keep it somewhere safe, you are the strongest out of all of us, even if me and Yoro get defeated, I'm positive you would win against any opponents." Kegon said, sighing when he saw Fuu stumble over a log and fall on her face. Yoro chose that moment to appear as he looked at the scene, before shaking his head. The last thing he wanted was to be caught up in what ever Fuu was doing.

"What did you do with the bodies of the mist ninja?" Kegon asked. They were given number 16 with 17 being given to some mist squad. They weren't that hard to defeat, in fact they were too easy to defeat.

"I buried them. I guess the Mist village hasn't fully recovered." Yoro said, as his thoughts mimicked his partners. Kegon nodded.

"Now all we have to do is find a spot to hide, and avoid any meaningless fights." Kegon said as he looked at Fuu directly. Fuu just smiled and looked at the sky, as a bird flew over them. Fuu frowned, she raised her hand to the sky like she was trying to catch the bird, before she clenched it. The bird instantly fell from the sky, and Fuu jumped into the air and caught it.

"It was caught in a genjutsu, probably being used to spy on the other teams. Who would do such a thing to a creature of Nature." Fuu said as she looked at the blacked out eyes of the hawk. She channeled a little chakra into the bird, being careful not to over flow it. The bird eyes returned to their beady black, before the bird looked at her and did what looked like a nod before it flew off. Leaving a smiling Fuu.

"Fuu stop talking to animals and get down from there! We got to find a place to hide before its to late." Kegon yelled, sweetdropping when he looked at Fuu standing upside down on the highest tree branch. Fuu didn't seem to pay attention to him as the hawk she was holding earlier returned and began to screech and tweat, almost like it was talking. Fuu nodded every now and then, while not actually talking, but the bird will screech and tweat, wait a second like if it was waiting for feedback then continue again. It was a comical sight, and Kegon had to resist the urge to slam his head against the thickest tree, they're was only two things stopping him, knowing that Fuu was actually talking to the bird thanks to her telepathy powers, along with her being special. And of course, Konoha was known for its thick trees, one hard hit and he'll be out like a light.

"Thanks Rie-san, see you." Fuu said, Kegon ignored the urge to ask her how she figured out the birds name and just waited for the girl to come down, which didn't take to long as she just jumped off, which would've been suicide for civilians, even shinobis will have to have really good chakra control in order to not tweak any bones. Fuu stretched as she landed next to her teammates. Yoro took the initiative as he looked at Fuu.

"Please tell me you got valuable information from.. Rie-san, and it wasn't just a small chat." Yoro asked. A little embarrassed he was actually calling a bird by its name. Fuu nodded.

"The yellow haired guy wasn't joking. The stadium is split into 5 sections. Each section being, a different terrain, I guess to represent the 5 villages. We're in the green sections, otherwise known as Konoha. Then theirs the Iwa section, a bunch of rocks, then mist, a giant river with little to no lands, that's the place we have to avoid at all cost, it has no cover and Rei said there's been a lot of explosion in that area. There's the Kumo section which is like a giant mountains covered in clouds from the bottom up, Rei wasn't able to see nothing inside it, I guess the only way will be to go onto the mountains, as the clouds form a good cover. Then a giant desert, that must be Suna. Each sections stretches out a couple of miles each." Fuu said as she explained the information she got from her friend.

Kegon nodded. "We're from Taki, so the only place that really resembles us and plays to our strengths will be here. Let's continue with our plan to lay low. We'll spend the first day here, the second day in Iwa, then the third and final day in Kumo. We'll avoid Mist and Suna at all cost. Is that understood?" Kegon said acting as team leader. Fuu shrugged, before she looked in a specific direction where she felt a chakra spike.

"Don't even think about it. Let's go, that fight wont last long, and they'll be after us next if we don't move." Kegon said as he jumped onto a tree and waited a couple of seconds before his teammates followed.

"You're no fun, I wanted to make some friends." Fuu said. Kegon just frowned.

"Amazing, they came prepared." Mei said, as she looked at the Taki monitor. She got tired of watching choujuro team especially after they got past the first team on the gate.

"I guess your exams aren't that tough, right Hokage-dono." A said smirking. Minato shrugged.

"I have to admit that was genius, I doubt any other team thought of that. Plus who would've thought we'll have a ninja that could talk to birds?" Minato said smiling, while he was a little disappointed they found a loop hole, he had to give credit where credits do. Taki was good, he needed to keep a closer eye on them.

"I'm a little peeved they won't go into my village section though." Mei said pouting. She would've loved her zone. Onoki frowned.

"Every fish loves water, especially a shark like yourself." If Mei was bothered by the obvious disrespect she didn't show it, instead opting to smile at the old man and nod.

"Yes, I guess your right. A rock will only sink to the bottom in the water anyways." Mei replied smoothly. Minato smirked at the choice words, while the Kazekage couldn't resist a chuckle.

"Can't we all get along? After all my zone is kind of entertaining." The Kazekage said as he looked at his monitor. Minato raised an eyebrow as he looked at the monitor the Kazekage was looking at and frowned, there was a lot of blood. It was Kumo vs Suna. In fact it was the Kazegkage kids vs the team A brought.

"Ah, my bolt will make quick work of them." The Kazekage said, as he also looked at the screen and changed his to the same channel. The kazekage smiled.

"Oh really?" A nodded without a moment of hesitation. The Kazekage nodded. "How about a wager then? 2 million ryo." The other Kages raised an eye, while it wasn't a giant amount, it was still nothing to sneeze at. A smirked.

"You'll have to sell every inch of sand in your desert to come up with that amount of money, but I'm not one to turn down easy easy. You're on." The kazekage chuckled.

"We'll see."

Gaara didn't even flinch when the genin from cloud tried to punch his way through his sand armor, it backfired, like the last 13 attempts. In fact there was blood everywhere because he managed to catch on of them in his sand coffin even if it was just an arm.

"Gaara, you should let us take care of the other two while you take on the leader." Temari said, finding confidence in the fact that she knew Gaara wouldn't kill them, yet. And that 'yet' was all she needed. Gaara didn't bother looking behind him where he knew his sister and brother were standing prepared to attack.

"Temari, take on the one on the left. His lighting techniques are becoming daunting. Kankuro you stay where you are, your skills are of no use in this fight." Gaara replied. Temari nodded sparing Kankuro a concern look before jumping at the kid on the left, he was about 5'9 white hair and wore the standard Kumo outfit. His white mask giving him a pretty plain feel.

The genin didn't bother avoiding her as he used a Kunai to block Temari fan, before easily pushing her away, and kicking her in the stomach causing her to roll on the ground.

"Why challenge me in Ken-jutsu when your physical strength is subpar, and your Taijutsu full of holes?" The genin said, surprisingly these were the first words spoken by any of the group members. Temari cursed as she got up, he hit hard.

"Shut up, I'm just getting warmed up. " Temari said as she shot forward again this time, not letting her guard down. She swung her fan high trying to decapitate the kid with the blunt end of her fan but the kid like before easily stopped the fan this time just raising one hand, easily catching it. They fought for dominance for a couple seconds before Temari smirked.

"Boom." She whispered before her and her fan exploded. The Cloud genin being blown a couple of feet backwards and sunk into a sand dome about 12 feet away. The cloud genin frowned.

"So you managed to make a clone, and attached exploding tags to it. When?" Temari smirked as she appeared a couple of inches away from him.

"That was easy. Back when you tried to punch through my brothers sand armor, there was enough sand for me to create a clone and let it take my place. From there I set up my plan, knowing Gaara will catch on, especially since I was hiding behind his gourd. The clone you was fighting was made of sand, with three explosive tags inside it, that's why when you kicked it away it didn't disappear, but what you did do was activate the tags, after that all my clone had to do was act as a Kamikaze. You obviously believe you're too good at close range to be defeated so I played into your games." Temari said as she looked at the down genin who was slowly bleeding from his mouth.

"You was able to think that far ahead?" The genin asked, Temari just smiled as she pulled her fan out.

"Now die."

Wind Release: Wind Cutter.

The cloud genin nodded, his body was cut to pieces, before the wind caused a avalanche burying the genin.

"Sand Burial." Temari said, using her little brothers infamous technique name, after all it was fitting. She looked back and noticed Gaara had the other two genins hoisted in the air. Sand surrounding their bodies, once again she saw no visible scratches on Gaara but his sand armor was a little darkened, must've been hit by a couple of lightning Jutsu's or two. Either way, it was over, and she frowned as she felt warm liquid fall on her cheeks and dirty her white blouse. She took her time getting to her brothers, only because Gaara looked angry and if those two kills didn't satisfy him, she didn't think Kankuro mind being the scapegoat. But her worst fears were put to rest as Gaara sand returned to his gourd and he turned towards her.

"Hide behind me again, and I will kill you." Gaara said, Temari resisted the urge to back a couple of steps away and nodded. With that Gaara continued his walk. In no particular direction, after all he was in his element, and hiding just wasn't something she ever saw Gaara do. No he will continue to kill, he will kill every single team in front of him, and for the first time Temari didn't mind. These exams were bloody, and the fact that rape was allowed didn't sit well with her. No, this time having Gaara on her team was a blessing.

"Let's go, I feel a team up ahead." Gaara stated as he continued his trek.

Kage room.

"Kuku, I guess I'm a couple of million Ryo richer." The Kazekage mocked. The Raikage frown, while bolt wasn't the most dangerous out of the three teams he brought, he didn't expect them to be taken out so easily, after all he did have Bee and Yugito train them.

"That's the life of Shinobi I guess. Splendid Ninja all dead." The Raikage said a little peeved he lost such good men, but he knew what he agreed too. He knew why he was here, these exams were just a add on. The Kazekage didn't seem to sympathize with the Kage as he chuckled some more.

"Should I expect my payment in cash or will you deposit it into my bank account?" Mei smirked a little, amused that she wasn't the only one losing Shinobi. So far Iwa has only losed 3 people, and only 1 of them was killed. She was such a beautiful girl too.

"Cash. Now leave me alone, after all your down to 6 genins, just like me." The Kazekage nodded.

"That is true, I didn't think that Konoha team was gonna be able to beat Shira and them but like you said, its the life of Shinobi. I still don't have no dead genins."

Minato just smirked inwardly. He's never been so proud, every Konoha team has been doing fine. But if he knew one thing was that good things don't last forever.

And just like that an X appeared next to a konoha genin.

"I guess Konoha wasn't going to come out untouched, I was beginning to feel like the exam were rigged." Onoki said smiling, not because he was happy about the death, after all they were just children but seeing the guy that killed thousands of his men look sad, was just to good not to poke.

"I'll be a full to think I was going to come out unscratched."

'I'm sorry Kurenai.'

Kurenai looked at the screen in disbelief, she couldn't believe, she read the name over and over, and looked at the X over it and read it over and over again.

'It can't be, not you.' She felt a comforting hand on her shoulder but her body was numb, she knew it was there but it felt cold, like dead wait. She didn't even notice she was trembling till she looked at her hands, and false images of blood appeared on it before the name that she read on the bored appeared written in blood. She had blood on her hands, she had a young teen blood on her hands, she was the one that recommend them. She was at fault.

"It's not your fault Kurenai." She snapped her head in the direction of the voice, how dare he lie to her, she knew it was her fault. She knew, he knew the truth.

"Don't lie to me Kakashi." She spit out, venom lacing every word. Kakashi sighed as he removed his hand from her shoulder.

"I'm not. They chose to take place in these exams."

"So that makes it their fault?! Is that what your saying, they chose to die!" Kurenai snapped, she couldn't take it no more. Kakashi shook his head as he read the name too, and couldn't help looking down.

"No. I'm just trying to tell you, that they wouldn't blame you. So don't go blaming yourself." With that Kakashi went back to looking at the screen.

Kurenai took a couple of calming breath before walking away.

"Where are you going?" Kakashi asked. Kurenai frowned.

"To deliver the news to the family myself." Kakashi nodded, that was admirable, a death wish, but admirable

Team 8 30 minutes earlier

The gates opened and Hinata instantly jumped away, as two Kunai went flying at her, she maneuvered in the air for that she could land on a large rock.

"This must be the Iwa section." The blue haired girl said as she looked around, completely ignoring the three genins next to her ready to attack.

"Are you able to sense that Naruto kid or his sister?" Hinata frown, why would they be after Naruto and Nami? This thought scared her a little, if they were looking for Naruto and Nami they obviously felt they could defeat them.

"No, they must be out of range, where ever they are must be saturated in a monstrous amount of chakra." Sorrow said as she looked around. Morn nodded. Blood sighed.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you bug boy. I hate having bugs on me." Blood said as he looked at team 8, easily grabbing a bug trying to crawl up his arms and squishing it, ignoring the flinch Shino produced.

"What would people like you want with Naruto and Nami." Kiba barked, he didn't like the smell coming of the red haired kid, he reeked of blood. Blood smirked as he looked over at morn.

"Can we have a little fun with them before we kill them?" Blood asked, a little bloodlust leaking through. Morn looked at the team and frowned especially when he laid eyes on Hinata.

"I saw you talking with that Naruto kid back in the lobby, tell me all you know about him and I'll let you leave." Morn said. Hinata frowned no way she'll sell out Naruto.

"As if she'll tell you! That's her boyfriend after all!" Kiba yelled causing Hinata to panic.

"Kiba shut up, you just painted a giant bulls eyes on Hinata." Shino said in his usual monotone voice, but you could hear the evident anger.

"Boyfriend you say? That means you know a whole bunch about him then." Morn said, before smiling. " My offer still stands, you being with him has nothing to do with me. Just tell me information on him or I'll be force to suck it right out of your body."

"Morn you can't be serious! You know what Pein told you about that technique!" Sorrow yelled, clearly disapproving of her brothers words. Morn nodded.

"Yes, but Pein isn't here and we have a mission. Plus, I'm giving her a choice,. It's up to her to take it." Sorrow frowned and shook her head.

"You and me both know she won't give us any information on him. So let's go." Sorrow said as she began to walk away.

"Are you just going to walk away like last time." Blood said, Sorrow stopped mid step.

"What did you say?" Sorrow asked almost daring him to repeat it. Blood smiled.

"You heard me, every time Morn is about to use one of those techniques you leave, last time you did that Morn got hurt, and you couldn't do nothing to help him. He was in pain for days. Are you going to let that happen again?" Blood asked. Sorrow frowned before she sighed.

"Fine." She sat down. "I won't leave but I won't fight either. I'm sure you could handle a couple of genins." With that she turned into paper and flew to the top of a giant rock and sat down. Blood smirked.

"Let's do this." Before he turned his bloody eyes to team 8 again.

"I won't be as nice as Morn over here, give me what I need to know. Or die." Blood said, his eyes glowing. Kiba sucked his teeth.

"Let's go Akamaru!

GETSUGA

Blood licked his lips at the oncoming tornadoes before him, easily avoiding them. Going through a couple of hand seals he summoned a small jar with red liquids. Kiba and Akamaru stopped spinning and turned on their heels and performed another one this time Blood didn't bother blocking and instead chucked the blood at Kiba and Akamuru, the transformation instantly ceased as they rolled on the floor, the blood producing blisters on their skins and Kiba had to bite back a scream as he felt like his body was on fire.

"I see you like my blood." Blood said as he looked at the screaming kids. "You see my blood is kind of, what's the word?.. Toxic." He said smiling when he saw Hinata and Shino appear in front of the mutt and its master.

"What? He's done already? I haven't even drawn any blood from him." Blood said sounding rather bored. Shino ignored him and turned to Hinata. creating a bug wall.

"Hinata heal Kiba, I will protect you. After that I will take him on, he's obviously a long range fighter, like myself and I know a way to slow him down. Not defeat him, he is way out of our league, but we need to stall them until they come." Hinata didn't miss the emphasis on 'they and nodded. It took her a couple of minutes as she didn't know much healing jutsus, just the basics, thankfully Kiba only had flesh wounds, something she knew the kid did on purpose. He wanted Kiba to suffer.

"So what will you do? Will you lay back and let your friends die or will you accept my offer and tell me what I need to know?" Morn asked, his eyes glowing and for the first time she felt unconditioned fear, the rings in the kids eyes glowing. Hinata looked at Kiba and Shino and saw determination and found her own.

"I will never tell you anythi-" That was as far as she got, before Morn appeared in front of her, she saw Shino being blown away by an invisible force. Morn was stepping on Kiba head, preventing him from moving, before he produced a rod and stabbed it through Akamaru back who was biting on his ankle before he placed his hand on her head.

"Last chance. Tell me what I need to know or your life is forfeited." Hinata couldn't believe it.

'He's so strong. I didn't even see him move, I got to signal Naruto-kun-'

"As you wish, good bye." With that he raised his hand, and with it a light blue entity was sucked from Hinata body, before Morn nodded and set it free.

Kurenai frowned as she looked up at the impassive face of Hiashi.

"Out with it." Hiashi said, getting tired of looking at the jounin for 5 minutes straight.

"It's Hinata.." Hiashi nodded.

"What about her?" Kurenai turned her head as tears came down her cheeks.

"She's dead."

YEAH FINALLY SOME FUCKING HATE.

It's only right that after so much love, we give Naruto something to hate.

Cliff hanger of dome.

Tune in next time for another installment of From love to hate: Crossing paths.
