"I'm guessing congratulations are in order?" Naruto said offhandedly as he and Itachi walked down the dirt road. Itachi nodded before releasing the messenger hawk.

"You got what you wanted, as usual." Naruto nodded.

"Are you not excited? You would be comfortable dying knowing that you didn't contribute anything to the world?" Itachi shrugged.

"Its not the best thought to have, but its also something I never gave much thought too." Itachi responded, his Sharingan passively looking down at the much smaller Naruto. "How about you?"

Naruto shrugged. "I don't mind having one, I just don't want one." Itachi smirked.

"So twins?" Naruto shook his head.

"I'll be comfortable with the one you gave me." Itachi smirked.

"A bit of a hypocrite aren't you?" Naruto nodded.

"What good leader isn't?"

"True."

"What is your goal anyways" itachi asked.

Naruto didn't respond immediately, instead he opted to look at the sun. He stared at for awhile, never missing a beat as he continued his trek down the road.

"I have no clear goal." Itachi nodded. That was the most he was going to get out of him.

Naruto was unusual, he wasn't like other powerful ninjas. He wasn't arrogant, he cared little about money, he showed no pleasure in hurting others, and yet he was cold.

He killed off two villages, for no reason. He wasn't as ignorant as the kages to believe Naruto was sending a message. No, Naruto wouldn't do things like that. He wasn't the type of person.

He wanted to test the limits of his power. And judging from the lack of training, he was happy with it. For now of course. Every powerful person wants to get more powerful, Why he choose to stop now. Who knows.

"You're overthinking it." It didn't catch Itachi off guard, Naruto always found a way to make you question if he could read your mind or not.

"Hm?"

"You're thinking why a insanely strong teen like me is dragging you across the elemental nation, after making you have a kid with a ninja you never met. While also promising you a leadership position without knowing you past your first and last name, what you did in Konoha and why you even agreed." Naruto stated, before turning his head to look at Itachi.

"You see, the reason I chose you is simply because you're the only ninja I respect." There was a pregnant pause as Itachi digested the information. It took a few minutes before Itachi smirked.

"Is that so?" Naruto nodded.

"How could I not. You singlehandedly took out your whole clan. Became an Anbu captain at 9, joined the Akaktsuki at 13. Defeated Orochimaru at 14, and managed to do all of that while sick, and protecting your little brother that wants to kill you. That's pretty bad ass." Naruto responded, there was a childlike admiration in his voice and Itachi found it hard to believe this was the leader of three ninja villages.

"If I'm such a threat why have me so close." Naruto looked at him questioningly.

"Wouldn't you want someone that powerful at your side?" Itachi didn't respond. They continued their walk in silence before Naruto stopped.

"We're here." Itachi looked around. They were in the middle of nowhere.

"What exactly is here?" Naruto looked around.

"I don't know, this is where Kurama told me to go." Naruto said looking around.

Itachi frowned.

"Maybe he lied?" Naruto shook his head.

"No way, the fur ball is evil but he's not that evil. We're in the right place I could feel it." Itachi looked around, he didn't feel anything.

"Feel what exactly?"

Naruto tapped the floor a couple of times.

"The bodies." Itachi didn't give an Outer response.

"Bodies?"

Naruto nodded.

"The bodies of the first inheritors of chakra, we're gonna dig them up and burn them."

"Why?" Naruto shrugged.

"I don't make the rules I just follow them. I told you the missions I get sent on are creepy that's why I needed company." Itachi nodded.

"Who exactly has the power to send you on missions?" Naruto smirked.

"Me and you both know there always someone above you. No matter the rank; the same goes for me. Now get to digging, I want to be back in Asgard before the fall starts."

"We've been traveling for two months just to get here, no way in hell we'll make it in time."

"Always the bearer of bad news, aren't you?" Itachi just sighed.

"How big is the area?" Naruto looked around.

"You see that?" Naruto said pointing into the distance. Itachi nodded.

"Yeah, that's about half of it." Itachi frowned.

"We won't be home till mid winter."

Naruto smirked.

"I brought a sweater."

"So he got you pregnant and now he's gone for 5 months?" Nurse asked as she looked at Karin, who was in the middle of tinkering with a scalpel and cutting into her patient.

"Yes." Karin continued her work, while ignoring nurses constant questions before she sighed and removed her gloves.

"Please finish up here, I have a distraction to take care of." The other doctors in the room nodded.

"Of course Karin-Sama." Karin walked out the room quickly followed by Nurse.

"So how was he?" Karin looked at her questioningly.

"You mean you don't know?" Nurse shook her head.

"After our date he just dropped me off at my house, went to yours and then disappeared. Didn't even say goodbye. He left me a note though. So I guess that's something." Karin frowned, she felt a little bad for nurse but orders were orders.

"It doesn't matter the fact is he got the job done." Nurse smirked.

"You mean?" Karin shook her head.

"He got me pregnant. And now it's just a waiting game." Nurse frowned.

"I really liked him." Karin shrugged.

"I'm sure when he comes back you could get to know him better." Nurse shook her head.

"By the time he comes back I'll be in the Anbu medical devision, which means I'll have to change names, where I live, and the only person that could have access to me will be Naruto. I'll pretty much be invisible. And Naruto not one to mix relationships and business. Also not to mention I could get killed." Karin frowned.

"You must not know Naruto then. He's cold but he's not inconsiderate."

"Already asked him, he said to get over it." Nurse said as they took a seat in the small nurse lounge in the hospital.

"I'll talk to him then." Nurse shook her head.

"No need. I already told him I understand, don't want to look like a liar in front of the boss."

Karin ran her hands through her stomach.

"For what it's worth, I wish it was you carrying this kid." Nurse smirked.

"Actually, I'm kind of glad it's you. I can't mess up this figure this young." They glared at each other for a couple of seconds before bursting out laughing. When they settled down Karin got serious.

"So, Anbu huh? Why them?" Nurse shrugged.

"Why not?" Karin just stood silent. The Anbu was the worst place to be, especially if you were a female.

"I hope everything goes well for you. When do you start?" Nurse looked at her watch.

"In like 5 minutes." She got up, before walking over to Karin and placing her hand on her shoulder.

"Be safe okay."

Karin nodded.

Time skip 2 weeks later.

"So you heard the news?" Zabuza said as he walked up to Karin who was at her office finishing paperwork.

"I heard." Zabuza nodded.

"Rumor has it she fought bravely till the end." Karin stopped midway through her sentence.

"Is that what they're saying?" Karin asked. Zabuza nodded. Karin smirked before continuing her work.

"I'll like to be left alone." Zabuza didn't bother second guessing it he walked out.

'You fought bravely till the end' Karin played it over in her head, before tears fell onto the paper on her desk. It was the first letter to Nurse. Ironically the tears fell over the words, be safe.

"Goddam you Naruto!" Karin yelled slamming her fist onto the desk.

Naruto was in the middle of burning a pile of bodies. Said red head was debating whether he should've brought something heavier then a sweater. Before looking over at Itachi.

"Nurse is dead." Said Uchiha stiffened up for a second before destroying the pile of bodies in front of him.

"How?"

"Mission."

"Honorable?"

"So,so." Itachi got it. She was beaten to a bloody pulp and had her head removed and mailed to the village in a box. Her bottom half probably at the bottom of a lake.

"Could you?" Naruto shook his head. "Why?"

"I have no desire too." Itachi frowned. Naruto had the ability to bring her back to life.

"Why?" He asked again. Naruto shrugged.

"She told me not too." Naruto said: Itachi frowned.

"That's why you didn't let me read the last messenger hawk delivery."

Naruto shook his head.

"There was more you couldn't see, that's just the part I thought you should know." Naruto said as he continued to burn the bodies Infront of him.

"Is that how you treat everyone that dies serving you?" Naruto nodded.

"She died on a mission for her village. You more then anyone know the pride that goes along with that." Itachi frowned. Naruto sighed.

"Look, I have sent so many ninjas out to their deaths, one more just doesn't concern me. Many have died, and some in worse ways. She chose to join the Anbu and that comes a long with it. You more then anyone know the power of sacrifice. We're shinobi Itachi. We endure pain, and protect the village."

Itachi looked up at the heavens and saw one cloud float above them:

"You could do something about it you know. With your eyes, you could end this senseless death. You could be the one to right the Shinobi world.."

Naruto just smirked.

"Like I said. I have no clear goal. I'm only 14. Now keep digging, we got about 7 thousand more miles to cover."

Sasuke easily slashed through ten shinobi before his eyes turn grey and he sprouted wings. Jumping into the air he went though a couple of handsigns

Hi-Inabikari

Immediately a torrent of burning hot flames, ignited the clearing and every single ninja in the vicinity was burn to a crisp.

The next second Sasuke dodged an uppercut; he smirked before trying his own right hook, that managed to land but the freak of nature he was fighting neck just stretched out to unimaginable levels before returning to normal.

deciding that fighting the freak up close would be an uphill battle he made some space between them. Going though a couple more handsigns this time a blur to everyone, he disappeared before the next second blood sprayed across Orochimaru face, who did little but just lick it off.

"I see you've been working on your speed." Sasuke nodded as he removed his hand from the inside of a shinobi chest cavity.

"I have too. Itachi is the fastest ninja in the world." Orochimaru smirked.

"I'm sure you heard of the fourth Hokage." Sasuke nodded.

"I have no intentions of fighting him do I?" Orochimaru smirked.

"Touché." Sasuke frowned as he looked around. This time it took him 2 minutes to kill off 10 people. He could do better: Naruto erased two villages in 5 seconds.

"You're not happy with your results? At this rate you'll be better then Kalashi in less then 4 months." Sasuke nodded.

"But he's not the goal." Orochimaru frowned at this.

"He's just a little under Itachi." Sasuke nodded.

"Under him doesn't count: I want to be so much more powerful then him that when we fight it wouldn't even be fair, I drag him across the ground and turn his body into nothing but a pile of gunk." Orochimaru just laughed.

"You want to be as strong as Naruto then?" The silent pause gave him the answer.

"I'll give up on that if I were you. You just don't have it in you." Sasuke frowned.

"What do you mean?" Orochimaru smirked.

"That's a converstaion for another time, for right now I have a mission for you." Sasuke was a little peeved he was blown of so easily but knew better then to question it.

"Where am I going now?" Orochimaru nodded.

"You'll be going to the south hideout, there you should meet one of my prodigies named Guren. When you get there she'll explain the details. Don't be late, she hates waiting."

"How long do I got?"

"6 hours." Sasuke frowned.

"That hideout is at least 13 hours away and that's at shinobi speed."

Orochimaru smirked.

"You wanted to be the fastest man alive right? Rumor has it Naruto could teleport anywhere he wishes." The next moment Sasuke was gone.

"Do you think it's okay to play into his insecurities like that?"

"Yes."

2 months later

"Again." Kushina yelled as she kicked Nami into a tree.

Nami groaned but got up, going through a couple of handsigns her scale armour immediately activated. She was all but a. Blur when she appeared behind Kushina:

Going for a drop kick to the back of the neck; she was caught off guard when Kushina turned around just in time to put up a guard. The next second a downgraded rasengan smashed into her chest. This time she went flying through multiple trees before coming to an compete stop.

Her scales faded as she laid on the floor groaning in pain.

"We need to work on your kekkei genkai if three rasengan to the chest is enough to put you out."

"Three Rasengan to the chest, you say that like its nothing."

"It is nothing." They weren't even fully powered.

"Three down power ones for you are like three fully powered ones for everyone else."

"How so?"

Nami sighed but got herself up.

"I think you underestimate just how strong you are."

Kushina smirked.

"The stronger I am, the stronger you will become." Nami smiled.

"Hopefully. I wonder what Naruto doing?" Nami asked as she took the bottle of water offered to her by Kushina.

"He's probably training."

Said blonde was in the middle of erasing three other bodies before sitting down.

"It is over!" Naruto yelled as he and Itachi looked over the charcoal field. Itachi shook his head.

"We still got like half a mile left." Naruto sweet dropped.

"You say that like its nothing."

"It is nothing, we did the others relatively fast."

"Three months is fast to you?" Itachi nodded.

"I thought we'll be here the whole year. We're only two people."

Naruto sighed before forming a cross sign and about a thousand clones appeared.

"Do it." Itachi looked at him for a moment before looking behind him at all the miles they covered only them two.

Naruto smirked.

"What I thought it'll be great for bonding." Itachi eyes morphed into the Magekyo and the world turned red.

Naruto looked around. So this is the amazing world of Tsukiyomi.

Three blades went through his chest. He continued like he didn't even notice.

"Not bad. I was expect a little more though." The next moment the world turned blue: and the sky returned to normal but the sun remains black.

Itachi frowned.

"How?" Naruto shrugged.

"I saw your jutsu and I made it mine. Well not really, I just changed the color your still in complete control." Next moment he was tied to the cross upside down with multiple nails stabbed across his body.

He didn't even react.

"Not bad, how much power does it take to use this though?"

Itachi sighed before releasing the jutsu.

"Why aren't you effected." The next moment Naruto fell on one knee and bled from his mouth.

"Who said I wasn't? Pain just doesn't bother me." He sat on the floor for a little

Before he got up.

"they found it." Naruto suddenly said. Itachi looked at him.

"Found what?"

Naruto smirked.

"What we came here to find."

"Which was?"

"The long lost palace of the sage of the six Path." Itachi heard it and was about to question it but reconsidered it. Naruto was crazy.

"What are we getting there?" Naruto shrugged.

"I don't know, they haven't told me yet."

"They?" Naruto nodded.

"Kurama and ghost."

Itachi nodded.

"Why not ask them now that you have a chance." Naruto shrugged.

"Kurama been asleep for the last three month, last time I woke him up I had a headache that lasted three months. So no, we'll walk there and see what we find."

Naruto said already making his way towards the direction he got from his clone.

"What exactly is the point of this mission? Why burn all these bodies?"

Naruto smirked.

"They're not bodies, they're people. They were placed in temporary sleep for the day that they are once again summoned. Legend has it that if you make it to the village they come to life and engage you in an endless battle. One ninja fought for almost a year before he was defeated."

"So we just murdered about fifteen thousand people."

"Yes."

I think I'm going to be sick."

"Hey you were just fine a minute ago, if I would've never told you anything you wouldn't even be complaining."

"True."

"Now imagine if I would've told you when we first got here, it would've taken us 5 months because you'll be throwing up the whole time."

"I'm glad your such a logical person." Naruto smirked before walking away.

"Hurry up; we got a deadline to meet and I think Koyuki is starting to get annoyed."

"Why?"

Naruto shrugged.

"The only person that could know is her. She sent me a scroll talking about stabbing herself, If she don't see me by next month."

Itachi sighed.

"Why not just teleport her here?" Naruto looked at him like he was crazy.

"Are you insane, that would be like bringing your mom to prom."

Itachi sighed again.

"Hopefully this will be the last time I go on a mission that is this long with you." Naruto smirked.

"Don't count on it."

"How long do we got to wait for this guy?"

Guren signed before looking around. I'm guessing three seconds.

The next moment Sasuke appeared, he looked a little rugged, but otherwise looked fine.

"How fine are you?" Guren asked.

"Fine enough to get this mission over with I need to train."

"How much stronger do you want to get?"

Sasuke ignored her.

"Let's go."

Guren frowned " do you even know the parameters of the mission.

"Find Sugetsu and put him in a jar." Gure. Smirked.

"Good enough."

"I thought they'll be more to see in that place."

"There wasn't."

"Yeah but come on we got a Pokemon."

"A what?"

"Never mind."

"You've lost it."

"I have?"

"Of course you have."

"I thought I was perfectly fine:"

"Are you?"

"I said thought, who knows anymore."

"Maybe you should invest into some sleep."

"What's that?"

"You know the thing regular humans do."

"Which is?"

"Spend all night sleeping, not hovering over some husk of a man that died 100 years ago."

"200."

"Does it matter? The fact is he's dead and you did nothing but stare at him."

"He was still perfectly healthy looking."

"He's the fucking sage of the six path, what do you expect?"

"Not that."

"I mean it."

"Do you?"

"Yes."

"I was expecting him to burst to life and explain to us why he failed at providing peace."

"I thought you didn't want peace."

"I don't. I just wanted to know why a person with the power to achieve it let it get this bad. Not that I'm complaining."

"So you like violence."

"A necessary evil."

"That you believe in."

"'More like invest."

"Why?"

"Because I still remember." Judging from the spike in killing intent Itachi decided it was best to avoid asking any other close to home questions.

"So what now? Do we return to Asgard? It's been 5 months, Karin should be due in a couple of months."

"No. We'll be heading to Konohagakure."

"Konoha?" Itachi said already hating the way it sounded. That was 2 months away.

"Don't sweat it, they probably forgot by now."

"Bullshit."

"Yeah a little bit."

"I lost my face mask during our last sparring section."

"We'll buy another one."

"We?"

"They hate me as much as they hate you."

"Yeah but you don't have a bounty on your head."

"I don't? Even after what I did?" Itachi shrugged.

"You're the only person I know that would like one."

"That's not true. I actually would hate to have one."

"Then why act all sad about it."

"Because I killed a lot of people. I fee like they're babying me."

"A childish outlook on things."

"Who cares? I'm only 15."

"You're birthday did past huh? Happy belated."

"Don't worry about it, I hate cake."

"Do you now?"

"I do."

"Didn't you cry for your 8th birthday party?"

"I wasn't even in Konoha, how would you know?" Itachi smirked.

"The Uchiha clan always keeps tabs on strong individuals."

"So you recognized my greatness for that long?"

"More like my father was keeping tabs on your grandfather, and he told the story of how a kid my age was crying."

"That could've been anyone."

"It could've."

"when did you become this talkative. All reports I had on you said you hated talking to your partners."

"I did, they were criminals that loved killing for no reason other then money."

"That's me, if I wasn't already this rich I mean."

"Was rich."

"Still am. It's just not mine to call mine, but it's still technically mine to call ours."

"Serious question though, what are you going to do with Hinata."

Naruto frowned before he had a flashback.

(Flashback)

"You plan to cut it off that easy? Just like that? After you revive me."

"Yes." Naruto said as he continued to look over the ocean, a small boat coasting along the endless canvas that is the ocean.

"Why?"

"Why what?" Hinata frowned.

"Don't act dumb."

Naruto smirked. "Your only here for strictly business. Isn't that what girls like you should focus on? You're next in line to take command of the clan and here you are asking a man why he doesn't want to be with her."

Hinata ignored him.

"You're good at acting, I could see right through you. You're just an arrogant little boy that has no idea what he's doing. You see this." Hinata said pointing behind her to the whole village.

"You don't care for it. You don't give a fuck about the people that's why you hide behind the title of emperor and live behind the shadows. You don't want to get to know people, you don't want to be seen as a hero you don't want to be seen. That's who you really are, stop living in the past and get past everything."

Naruto got up.

"Who are you to decide who I am. Who are you to decide what's going on. Who are you. what have you ever lost? I lost my whole family, I lost my mind, I lost everything and I had to build it back up by myself, I had no help. I had no friends, I had nothing. And then I met you, but you turned out to be just another one of them. Even now you're only here to ghost around and chase me for no reason, other then to just try and bring me back to a place I have no love for. If you really loved me then you should forget about me."

"That's you talking, not me."

Naruto frowned.

"Is it?"

"Yes." With that Hinata took out the blue rose she had in her bag and tossed it to Naruto.

"You said the day it dies would be the day our love will end." Naruto looked at the rose still covered in the protective crystals he incased it in.

"Are you scared. Is that what it is? So many people have hurt you. so, now you try to hurt everyone. You believe what you're doing is right? You think this would satisfy you? What's going to happen after its done, what are you going to do.." With that Hinata walked away, leaving Naruto to think about what she said.

"I don't know.." He whispered the last part to himself, as he watched her walk away.

The rose in his hand still firm and as fresh as the first day.

"A distraction. That's all she was and is." Itachi nodded.

"And Koyuki?"

"She's my wife."

"By name only, you hold no true love for her."

"Our marriage is beneficial to the family and the trinity. That's all that matters."

"An empty way to live life, hopefully those aren't the believes you instill into your kids or kid."

Naruto smirked.

"I don't have kids."

"You do, you have a bunch of them. You just haven't accepted them." Naruto let out a small laugh.

"What ever you say Itachi-taicho" Itachi smirked before looking around.

"How many more people got to die?"

"As many as I think necessary. This isn't a me thing. They took my family, now I got to take theirs."

Itachi frowned.

"How are you going to do that?"

"I don't know yet."

"You're crazy."

"I knew that before you told me it."

"Why have him come here? You know he hates us." Minato asked, he felt bad to talk about his own kid like that but Naruto was becoming to dangerous.

"How dangerous do you think he?" Minato thought about it.

"By himself, not much."

"With the Trinity."

"Extremely powerful."

"What exactly is the trinity. They don't behave like a major village. Everything they do is hidden, they pretend like they don't have money, but some how have access to everything and have technology beyond our wild believes."

"They also give off a friendly aura but you could tell that they were all dangerous. I wouldn't be surprise if we have some of them living in the village under disguised."

Tsunade frowned.

"What did you get us into?" Minato frowned.

"Even I don't know. Naruto was such a good kid, when did he lose himself?"

"Who knows."
