Pein stood in the middle of his wrekage. The village laid destroyed before him, and his mind was wandering off. He looked around and saw the people running, and the kids shouting, and crying. He looked deeper and he couldn't resist the pain that tore his heart.

These people were feeling his Pein, they now understood it. They will not try to rebel once again. They shall bend to the will of his power. But were they truly happy. They didn't look like it, not at this moment. But in three years they would be. His powers were being used for good.

"Konan." Said blue haired girl was busy reforming as she used more papers then she intended too.

"Yes Pein?"

"Do you see it now?" Pein asked looking around. Konan shook her head.

"All I see is pain, and distruction the same as always."

"But does it not look better then nothing at all?" Pein reasoned. Konan shook her head.

"No."

"If I didn't do this the ones that hired us simply would've killed all of them. Now they will live and fear will keep them under control."

Konan nodded.

"But do they look happy?" Konan asked as they looked around. Pein didn't know how to reply to that.

"Not right now I guess."

"They wont be, they have to rebuild all of this and return to there homes. Some of them missing families."

"This is a small price we must pay in order to furthur our goals." Konan nodded.

"Pein you are not wrong. The world needs change, what I mean is that you must first look at every option... Destructiom means nothing. Because like you said it could be rebuilt. Just like hatred." With that Konan turned into paper and flew away with the wind.

Pein looked around. He frowned. This was his pain, did they really understand it or did they just feel it.

Pain was suppose to build strength.

"So your the Pin everyone has been talking about."

"Excuse me." Pin replied as she looked around.

"I heard you and the twerp got along quite nicely." Pin looked around. There was no one there but she could definetly hear someone.

"Show yourself."

"Okay." The guy appeared. He was wearing all black with a swirling mask on.

"Who are you?" Pin asked.

"They call me Him. Or that. Or the guy." Pin looked at him strangely.

"But what do I call you?"

"I just told you. Most people don't address me by name so having one is pointless." Pin narrowed her eyes.

"Who are you then?"

"A friend of Naruto." Pin raised an eyebrow.

"And what do you want with me?"

"Nothing."

"So-"

"I wanted to meet my closest friend; friend."

"Well you met me."

"I could see why he would like you." Pin ignored him.

"And I could see why he didn't mention you." The man chuckled.

"So Pin where are you heading?"

"Why would I tell you?"

"Well your traveling alone, late at night with no security."

"I was doing fine too." Pin said. The man nodded.

"I would like to accompany you."

"Would you?"

"If you let me." Pin smirked.

"I was working under the assumption that the men in Asguard were nothing but brutes. And here you are a gentlemen."

"You could say that.." The man said.

"I'm heading to the land of water." The man nodded.

"I hate that place."

"Me too."

"Then why go?"

"I live there."

"Oh."

"Yeah. Why do you hate it?" Pin asked.

"Bad memories." The man said looking up at the nights sky.

"I thought over your offer and I politely decline." The man nodded as he stopped walking.

"See you around Pin."

"See you around, hmmm, sir?"

"I've been called worse."

The man turned around and made his way back to Asguard as he removed his mask letting the chill of the cold night caress his facial features for the first time in a long time. It was freeing.

"I knew it." Pin said as she appeared infront of the man. Said person was trying his hardest not to show his surprise.

"You're good." Pin nodded.

"You're a liar."

"No, I'm not."

"You lied to us."

"Well to you." The man explained. Before they both turned stiff as the wind around them began to pick up getting faster and faster before a bright light flashed across the sky coming from a very familair direction to both of them.

"No way..." The man said as he began to jog in the direction the light came from.

"Wait for me!"

Pein and Konan walked across the land of patties. The mission was a success and they have been paid for they're results.

"Konan, I've been thinking."

"About?"

"Pein. And what that name means. And what it represents." Konan nodded.

"You are a god among mortals-"

"Humour me but don't lie to my face."

Konan nodded.

"I'm sorry Nagato."

"You are the only one I let call me that."

"I am pleased to know that."

"When I created Pein after Yahiko died, I wanted it to be in his image. I wanted it to be him, the same pain he felt when he drove that Kunai through his heart, I wanted the world to share that Pein. The decision he had to make between his life and ours. That same mind boggling pain, that drove him to pick us over himself. I wanted to be able to teach that to everyone."

"A noble duty."

"But I have not lost my vision Konan. If I have to work with the devil, or rumble with every tail beast by myself so be it."

"And I will be by your side till the moment we accomplish it."

"Will you?"

"Yahiko gave us a world to cure."

"Soon. Soon. Konan. We sha'll extract our revenge."

"Revenge means nothing. The best we could do is try to achieve peace."

"I've been living under rain for so long I forgot what the sun lools like." Pein said. Konan nodded.

"Why not stop the rain from falling?" Pein shook his head.

"Its washes away the sins that once plagued the village."

"You mean the tears." Pein stood silent.

"Don't worry, I like the rain. It helps me look strong too." The next second the skies opened and water poured from the heavens.

Showering them. Pein frowned. It'll be a couple more miles before they reached his real body.

"Don't stop it leave it." Konan said as she looked up at the moon.

"I told you, I like rain too. "

"We should probably tell Blood he isn't going to make it." Morn said as he watched Blood roll himself across the desert.

"You are?" Blood said as he talked to a sand dome.

"I don't know hes less annoying like this." Sorrow said as she watched him argue with the sand about it being rude.

"Yeah but remember, if we leave him like this we'll eventually have to carry him."

"By we, you mean you."

"And by you. You mean we, then yes."

"I'll kick him along like a soccer ball."

"That could work but then he'll

be all pissed off." Sorrow nodded.

"Yeah that will be a little troublesome."

"How so?" Blood said as he returned to the group.

"We were worried about you."

"No you wasnt. She wanted to use me as a soccer ball."

"You heard us?"

"I hear everything."

"Then why were you talking to sand?"

"I was talking to the person in the sand." Morn sighed.

"Blood." Blood frowned.

"Don't believe me? Watch." The next moment Blood reached into the dome and took out a body.

"See." Sorrow eye twitched.

"Put it back." Blood smirked.

"Told you."

"No you didn't."

"Doesn't matter. As we're almost through this shit."

"No we're not."

Sorrow sighed.

"We could stop by Suna if you want." Morn offered. They were getting close to the village. Ame and Suna weren't exactlt friends but they won't deny them entry.

"Yeah but then we'll have to sign papers as to why we were here to begin with."

"Actually that'll be more beneficial to us. That way blood could drink more water and he stops being crazy." Sorrow nodded.

"So it's agreed?" Blood shrugged.

"He really didn't care."

"How so? If we go there and we end up in a war we're going to be in a whole lot of trouble for no reason."

"Worth it?"

"Hell yeah." The next moment Morn touched both of their shoulders and they disappeared.

Nami walked calmly to the council chambers.

She was called it was a emergency. When she walked in she was welcomed with the usual bow before they got up.

She took her seat.

"You may sit." And they all sat down.

"Why have I've been called." One of the elders cleared his throat.

"You have been formally invited as Hokage of Konoha to attend ths Raikage wedding." Nami raised an eyebrow.

"He invited me?" Nami asked. She's been trying to get a meeting with the guy since she took office and he didn't respond to one.

"Yes, and no." Nami waited.

"You were invited by the Princess of the land of snow. She wants you to be her plus one." Nami raised an eyebrow.

"Does this make any sense to you?" Nami asked. The elders shook their heads.

"Look." Shikamary started.

"It's obvious they want you to attend for that you could see for your own eyes that the Mizukage and the Raikage are going to tie the knot making they're villages one. This is a direct threat to you, that saids if your thinking about revenge think again and if your thinking about attacking any of the villages think again. Not only that they will invite nobles from all over the lands. Not to mention the fact that its in Snow country is enough to make you think twice since they control every inch of technology we could get our hands on. So no this is not an invitation, its more of come if you dare." Shikamaru explained. The council nodded they couldn't say it better themselves.

"Then what do you suppose we do?" Nami asked.

"Denying will be the smart option. But attending will show that we are not afraid nor intimidated." Kushina added her two cents.

"But we are." Nami said.

"Yes, but that is not the message the new Hokage wants to send to her potential enemies." Inoichi addded.

"But if we go I look reckless and naive." Nami explained.

"But if you don't go you'll look weak."

"I rather look weak then show off false bravery. They know we wouldn't stand a chance against them." The council stood quiet. "Shikamaru." Nami said. The lazy adviser looked her way.

"What do you suppose we do."

"We should go." The council looked at him a type of way.

"Why?" Nami asked.

"The others are right we can't look weak, even if we are compared to them. The smart thing to do is agree under the terms that you would like to have a private meeting with Lady Koyuki and we could negotiate some type of deals with them as well. This will not only bother Raikage-sama and Mizukage-sama it will frustrate them as they know we will have access to the same weapons as them."

"Will we?"

"Not exactly." Shikamaru answered.

"The point is to look like we came for other motives. It will look dismissing not to mention if we bring Minato, Tsunade and somehow convince Jiraiya three former Kages themselves plus Nami thats four current alive and powerful Shinobi's. The message would be clear and obvious."

Nami nodded.

"We could make that happen but I doubt they will be allowed in the ceremony."

"It doesn't matter. The point is that they're there."

Nami nodded.

"Could we make that work?" Nami asked to the whole chambers. She got mostly nods and some didn't react so she nodded.

"Then we will accept they're invitation." Nami said stamping the paper.

"Agreed."

Nami got up.

"Where are you going, we have much to discuss." Nami sighed as she sat down.

"What?"

"Another caravan wheel was broken and the man is asking for repayment." Nami eyebrow twitched.

"Why haven't you fixed the damn thing then."

The elder shrugged.

"You haven't signed the papers." Nami groaned.

"Then have the papers brougt to my office."

"We did. you denied it."

"I did?" Nami asked.

"Three times."

"Get the road fix and stop bringing this shit up to me."

"Done."

"Could I leave now?"

"No: We have much to discuss."

Nami groaned.

She listened for a little before her mind started to wander.

flashback.

Jiraiya frowned as he heard the frog say something to Kushina and watched her stiffen up.

He saw Nami in the distance begin to flash through handsigns before releasing a giant fire dragon. He was amazed with the way shes been progressing, when he started her training he was planning to just show her how to use the Kyuubi but when Kushina got involved it became a neccesity to do it all. It went from project Kyuubi to project turn Nami into the Kyuubi. So far Nami was soaking everything in like a sponge. Her tai jutsu was always good but now she was outstanding. Her Ninjutsu repetoire has increased and her Genjutsu was decent. She could break most of his.

"Kushina-chan." Jiraiya asked as she approached the women. Kushina stood still her body stiff and her eyes a glaze.

"What's wrong?" Jiraiya asked. He didn't get a response and he walked around to see tears falling from her cheeks.

"Kushina." Jiraiya said.

"Naruto-"

"I see." Jiraiya said cutting her off already having an idea and not torturing her by saying it out loud.

"I was thinkig of taking Nami to the land of toads to show her sage mode. You should stay here and do what you need to do. I won't be telling Nami, not right now. Not while she's training." With that Jiraiya walked away. He approached Nami and told her to stop.

"Nami I want to take you to meet someone in the land of toads." Nami raised an eyebrow as she breathed heavily.

"Why?"

"You wanted to learn sage mode right?" Nami nodded.

"Will we take Kushina with us?"

Jiraiya shook his head.

"She isn't allowed there since she hasn't signed the contract."

"Then I'll say goodbye." Jiraiya grabbed her by the arm.

"No time." With that they disappeared in a puff of smoke.

"Nami are you listening." Snapping out of her stupor she looked at the elder who was reading from a scroll that stretched to the floor.

"Yes." Nami lied. The elder nodded.

"Then you agree we should build a coloseum to entertain the people." Nami nodded.

"Yeah why not."

"See you wasn't listening. We were talking about making an amendment to one of the documents that gave people the right to insult the shinobis." Nami shook her head.

"There would be no such things." Nami quickly replied.

"Okay then. Now continuing with section 6, line twenty four, the Hyuga clan have asked if they could expand there compond."

"For?"

Hiashi got up for this.

"The clan is expanding and we will need more room to house the extra members." Nami thought it over.

"You're compound is already located in a big enough piece of land. Making any bigger and you will have to buy someone out of theres."

"Not a problem." Nami frowned.

"Let me finish. Not only will you have to buy the person you expect to take land from, you will also have to pay the village a convenience fee for letting you build such a structure. Not to mention the rent you pay will be doubled and the expansion you want will have to first be approved by me."

Hiashi frowned.

"May I ask why?"

"It's only fair, because if you do it the others will want to as well. And since you are the first to ask I have to make an example out of you. Nothing personal." Nami responded. Hiashi nodded. The Hyuga clan was rich enough.

"As you wish Lady Hokage." Nami nodded.

"Continuing-"

"Let's take a break." Nami said as she wanted to clear her mind. Everytime she thought about Naruto she got emotional.

"As you wish. Let's recess and return in an hour." Nami was the first one out the door.

"You should really teach your daughter some respect Minato." Said man was busy writing on some paper.

"Why don't you tell her. After all shes only the Hokage." Minato responded to Hiashi. The hyuga elder smirked.

"Always one for jokes."

"I try to keep a sense of humour; I know the Hyuga clan is not familiar with the word."

Hiashi ignored him as he walked out.

"Nice one." Kushina said as she walked up to Minato to see him writing down what seemed like notes to a seal.

"I could help." Kushina said. Minato shook his head.

"No. Its almost done."

"What exactlty is it?"

"A seal formula Hiashi asked me to make for him to nullify the effects of the curse mark." Kushina couldn't believe it.

"I thought you hated his guts."

"I do."

"Then?"

"Why you think I made Nami punish him in front of the council and charging him twenty thousand ryo for every thirty seals." Kushina smirked.

"But your still doing it:"

"I guess he played to my heart strings when he brought it up to me." Minato responded as he continued to tinker.

"He offered you something else didn't he." Minato nodded.

"What exactly?" Kushina asked.

"He offered to let me pick his clothes for tomorrow." Kushina raised an eyebrow.

"That's it?" Minato nodded.

"Yup."

"What are you going to make him wear."

"Nothing much." Minato responded.

"Minato."

"Fine. I'll just take the cash and mercy him." Kushina nodded.

"The seal matrix is off by ten percent in order for it to work at full capacity you must first mix the exterior design with the middle matrix, and turn the the whole module into a trigram not a circle." Minato sighed.

"You take all the fun away."

"Lunch?" Minato shoulders slumped.

"Might as well you already finished my work for me." Minato said pouting as he got up.

"Ramen?" Minato shook his head.

"I'm in the mood for dumplins."

"Fine."

"What time are you planning to return. It's been two hours." Shikamaru asked. He was standing with Nami at the top of the Hokage monument.

"My clone is there."

"You're clone isn't you."

"It looks like me."

"Talks like you too but its disrespectful." Shikamaru reasoned. Nami nodded.

"Shika." Nami started. Shikamaru frowned she only talked to him like that when something was really bothering him.

"Yes."

"You were there weren't you." Shikamaru frowned.

"Yes."

"You saw when it happned didn't you."

Shikamaru nodded.

"Did you see his face, what he looked like when it happened."

Shikamaru frowned from his angle he couldn't really see anything. But he knew what she meant.

"No."

"I figured that. When I picture him, I always saw him smiling, laughing at his idiocity for being caught like that."

Shikamaru listened.

"I could almost hear his thoughts. Damn. Damn. Damn." Nami repeated as she continued to look over the village.

"You're standing where he use to stand."

Shikamaru frowned he was about to move closer.

"Don't." Nami said. "Stay."

"Nami if you want I could show you... Ino has this technique.."

"No. I like the way it looks in my mind." Shikamaru nodded.

"There was something off about him.."

Nami nodded.

"He was joking around a lot." Shikamaru nodded.

"How do you know."

"That's how I picture it in my head." Nami responded.

"I think you should talk to Hinata.."

"She doesn't like to talk about it. Plus she doesn't come outside anymore. She's turned into a regular Hyuga."

Shikamaru nodded.

"Could you blame her?" Nami shook her head.

"Do you know how I found out Naruto was gone?" Nami asked.

"I found out the day I entered sage mode... I cant explain it, but the feeling I got when I opened my eyes I knew. My mom didn't tell me, Jiraiya didn't tell me."

"It was for the best."

"They rather turn me into a weapon then tell me about my own brother."

"Look how you turned oiut."

"Exactly. Look how I turned out."

With that Nami jumped off the clif. Shikamaru frowned as he turned around. Now he had to figure out how to tell the council to leave the meeting for another day.

"Who are you?" Shikamaru asked as he turned around to see a man in all black. With a swirling mask on.

"An old friend." The next moment he was gone.

''Nami isn't going to like this."

"Who the fuck is responsible for this?" Nanami asked as she looked at the mess infront of her. The shrine where Naruto laid was messy, and some of the roses were stepped on.

"Some vandals, probably grave robbers." Her guards said. Nanami frowned.

"I want it fixed and everything replaced."

"No."

"What did you say?" Nanami asked. The guard smirked before his image blurred and he turned into the familiar swirling mask.

"I said no. I like it better like this."

"Do you?" The man nodded.

"It messy, like he was." Nanami sighed.

"I want it fixed." The man nodded.

"Fine."

"Why are you here again?"

"I just do what I do, and go where the rounds go."

"That makes no sense."

"I'll be leaving now." The man handed Nanami a scroll.

"Make sure you get the job done."

"Don't I always?"

"No: You've been slacking lately. You even let that girl get past you the other day. If I didn't catch up with her who knows what would've happened."

Nanami nodded.

"I found her to be a nice gal."

"Me too, but I wouldn't let her walk around freely."

"You wouldn't? Where is she now."

"Walking around freely outside the village."

"Why are you still here?"

"Don't make that mistake again." With that the man disappered and the shrine returned to how it looked. Nanami walked forwars and laid a rose on the ground.

"Idiot." The words help no malice and she was having a hard time holding in the tears.

"You left us, and now all we got is that asshole." The wind blew against her and her hair danced with the wind.

"I know, I know. You messed up." The wind danced more freely.

"No, I won't forgive you." She felt a fantom hand on her stomach and she chuckled.

"Idiot." The winds stopped dancing and she got up.

"I'll see you tomorrow."

"Leave it to Karin to lead us into a village of crazy people." Sugetsu said as he ate his dumplins. Sasuke was to the side against the wall trying his hardest not to kill the kid that kept asking him to see his blade.

"I see my daughter has made great friends." The man smirked. He had red hair a solid build, and he wore regular civilian clothings.

"You could say that." Karin said as she ate from her bowl.

"So you want us to help you out?" The man said. Karin nodded.

"If that's okay with you."

"What could you offer us? You already know what we could offer you if you didn't you wouldn't be here."

Sasuke responded.

"what do you want?" The man shrugged.

"What could you offer?"

"We could offer us." The man nodded.

"Much value but what else?"

"We control the land of rice patties." The man raised an eyebrow.

"Orochimaru?"

"I killed him." The man nodded.

"Interesting. My spies tell me the land of rice patties was just attacked."

"A planned mission to demonstrate our power."

"I see." The man said.

"You could sleep here tonight. I will talk to my people and see what they got to say."

The man quickly left the house.

"Your father is strange."

"He doesn't recognize me as a daughter." Karin said easily reading the mans body language.

"Who would?" Sugetsu joked easily avoiding Karin jab.

"Doesn't matter. If he saids yes or no."

"The point is we just need a small base. If he saids no to the other things but not that our mission would be a success. Plus its been two months, we'll have to be on your way to lightning country." Jugo said.

Sasuke nodded.

"By tomorrow we should have an answer.

Naruto stood in a white plain. It's been four years he believed. Nanashi disappeared about a year ago, he said it was his time. Then it was just him and Kurama.

He wished he could say he's been relaxing. He wasn't, he figured out everything he needed to figure out.

He mastered every technique he could master, and learned everything he could. He was like a sponge, just soaking up information and here he stood. The only memories he had were distant, and his only pain was numb.

"Try sleeping." Kurama said.

"I technically am."

"Then what."

"You're acting like you can't feel it." Naruto said.

"What could we do?" Kurama said as he laid his head on top of his paws.

"So, do we just accept it or should we go to plan b?"

"Theres a plan b?"

"Yes."

"What does it involved?"

"I told you, I learned how to master everything. Including myself." The room glowed for a moment before settling back on white.

"Maybe not."

"Idiot." Naruto smirked.

"We'll be fine." Kurama nodded.

"Where are you going?" Koyuki asked as she watched her husband leave the room.

"I have to take care of some buisness at the office."

"Okay."

Koyuki frowned as she stared at the ceiling.

"Long night?" Koyuki groaned.

"What are you doing here? The mission isn't compelte for another week."

"No. I told you by this." Koyuki nodded.

"I still got a couple of days left in this week."

"Procratinating?"

"More like saving my energy."

The man nodded.

"You'll be sure to get the things done. I am growing impatient with you and Nanami aloofness."

"At least she gets the easy missions."

"Get it done." The man disappeared. Koyuki frowned.

"Why me?"

Gaara stood quietly in his office. He was reminicing over a couple of missions returns. He was growing weary with the amount of pressure konoha was adding on to him. He knew establishing a more prominent relationship between the two villages would prove beneficial but he has still not grown familiar with Nami way of thinking.

For starters the girl could still hold a grudge against the mist and drag them into a war with them, which would be unconsiquential not to mention catastrophic to his new kageship. He was trying to lead his village in a positive direction. Far away from wars.

"Kazekage-sama your sister is here to see you."

"Let her in." He waited a little before Temari walked in.

"I brought good news and bad news."

"Bad news first."

"Theres going to be a sandstorm throughout the week."

Gaara nodded.

"Good news?"

"I managed to talk Nami out of a war alliance but she still wants to meet with you."

"How would that be good?"

"You'll be able to get to know her since she'll be here for multiple days, not just one. Plus if your lucky she would make a good girlfriend."

Gaara ignored the last part his mind way past such trivial things.

"When should I be expecting her."

"When ever you want. I'll make the letter for the meeting when ever you have room."

"Understood." Temari nodded, about to take her leave.

"Thank you Temari."

Temari smiled before walking out. Gaara stood once again in his room alone. He called it his room since he spent so much time in it. It reminded him of his childhood, an outcast, and lonely, and begging for friends. It was pathetic now that he thought back at it.

To him he needed to do everything he could to be noticed. He had forgotten his name. What he stood for. What he was given was a curse, and he managed to turn it into a gift. The nights were still long for him, and the days were steady and unchanging. It was a constant routine that he couldn't break. He had learned how to deal with it, and deal with it he did.

He was now the Kazekage of the village that once loathed and hated him. Some if not many still did, and those that didn't weren't exactly his friends. But he still stood firm, and his confidence didn't waver, his ambition didn't diminish and his will was strong.

But for starters one thing was true, for Gaara being Hokage meant enduring.

"Busy?"

"What do you want, I already gave you my answer to your little proposal." Gaara said as he stared into the swirling mask of the man.

"Well more like said later."

"Well my answer is still no."

"Any particular reason?"

"I know what you're trying to do."

The man smirked.

"So theres a head on you." Gaara snorted at the insult.

"Leave." The man nodded. As he tossed him a scroll.

"Read that and then tell me your answer."

Gaara caught it with his sand. The man left quickly after. He opened the scroll and it read.

' Dear Gaara, if your reading this I'm guessing you said no. A shame that you didn't see the same vision as me, but lets be friends in the future. Also, Nami is a decent leader, you should listen to her.'

Gaara frowned. He knew a lot for a person that claimed he knew little.

The man walked through the gates of Suna as he prepared to leave. He raised an eyebrow when he saw some blue haired girl staring at him. That wasn't what caught him, what did catch him was the fact that she shouldn't be able to see him. And then he saw her eyes.

"Fuck."

Sorrow frowned as she noticed Morn and Blood didn't see what she saw.

"You guys go on ahead I got to go do girl buisness." With that Nami jumped away. Morn and Blood looked at each other but shrugged. Sorrow could take care of herself.

Sorrow approached the man who was doing little to move or avoid her glare.

"You could see me?" She nodded.

"Clearly." The man nodded.

"Interesting."

"Why are you invincible?" Sorrow asked she looked calm but the amount of killing intent the man was giving off made her back tingle.

"What is it to you?" The man asked as he walked over to a tree trunk and sat down agaisnt it.

"Nothing really."

"What do you mean by nothing really."

"I mean I have no reason to ask I just wanted to know." The man nodded.

"If that is all you could leave now." Sorrow looked peeved.

"What are you doing?"

"Telling you to leave."

"No I mean why are you doing it?" The man nodded.

"Because I could."

"Could you."

"I just did."

"Alright." With that Sorrow turned around.

Naruto stood on the white plane smiling as he talked to the Kyuubi.

"If I was just a little smarter 7 months ago none of this would've happened." The Kyuubi chuckled.

"Yeah but you didn't think things through before."

"No. That your right in." Naruto admited. He liked talking to the Kyuubi it was his inner demon, literally. A second conciousness that talked to him.

"What would you have done differently?" The Kyuubi asked.

"Use my head." Naruto admitted. He saw everything clearly now. He was naive, and not to mention gullible. He was full of gullibleness and naitivity.

"I'm glad you learned your lesson."

Naruto smirked.

"See that's the thing Kyuubi. Only because I know what I did wrong does't make me feel better but it does tgive me the advantage."

Kyuubi raised an eyebrow.

"Like?" Naruto shrugged.

"I'll keep it in my mind for now. Silence is key. That is something I've learned."

Naruto said as he stood on the Kyuubi head.

"I'm getting tired of this place." Naruto said. Ever since Nanashi left it has became lonely. He had the fox but it spent a lot of time sleeping. The rest he had to spend the majority of the time thinking, he even tried writing but it was daunting and boring.

"Kyuubi." The beast looked up.

"Yes."

"Thank you. Without you this wouldn't have been possible." The Kyuubi nodded.

"Don't thank me yet, hopefully that guy is doing what he's suppose to."

"Don't worry that guy is a lot of things, but he's not sloppy. Don't think to much its bad for you."

The beast snorted.

"Nice joke."

"What are you going to do three years from now." Iruka asked to the new class of genins. One genin rose his hand he had black hair that flowed down his back. He had charcoal eyes, with two lines going down his cheeks. He wore white shorts, a black tank top and blue sandals.

"I'm going to be chunin." The class laughed but the kid didn't find it funny. Iruka frowned the kid name was Naruto. Son of Karin Uzumaki.

"Hopefully you'll make it." Iruka said. The kid nodded. Some kids said theres but Naruto was busy staring out the window.

"We'll test your current skill levels lets go to the yard."

When they arrived Iruka had layed out wooden shuriken and Kunai.

"The goal is to hit the targets in the distance for every make you'll get anpoint the one with the most points win. Who would like to go first?" Naruto walked up.

Picking up a couple of shurikens hitting every target before picking up the kunai and doing the same the last one being embeded into the bullseye.

Iruka had to pick up his jaw from the floor. The only person to ever do that was Itachi uchiha.

"Very good Naruto, that will be hard to beat."

For Naruto the day went by extremely slowly. And by the time it was three he was bored. He already knew most of these things not to mention he already knew he was more skillful then the rest.

Karin picked him up ten minutes later.

"How was it?"

"Wasteful."

"Was it?" Naruto nodded.

"What will you do then?" Karin asked. Naruto shrugged.

"I'll endore it for now."

"Will you?" Naruto nodded.
