If you've read any of my Torchwood drabbles, you'll know I live for variety and anything goes, though my writing is primarily on the fluffy side.

Summary: It's Dee's little caring gestures that mean the most to Ryo.

Little things, a hand on his shoulder to ground him, a congratulatory pat on the back, a hug after a rough day, and a willing ear listening to him ramble on about whatever's on his mind. A ride home when he's too tired to know what he's doing, a cup of coffee and a sandwich set within reach when he's so deep in a case he'd forget to eat or drink otherwise.

All the small gestures mount up, day-by-day, and they mean so much.

Ryo smiles at his partner, gets a smile and wink in return.

Little things are everything.
