The Pirate Graveyard of No Escape!
Rainbow Mist
Inside of the Going Merry, Henzo was sleeping while Robin's reading her book and Ventus is doing some thinking. Even though, sailing through the Rainbow Mist is one thing, but getting out is another since they still need to find a way out. Henzo is dreaming about his old friends and himself playing in the sea when Rapanui told them that the treasure is up on that reef, trying to catch up to them, but some reason he couldn't because he wasn't able to swim towards them. He begged them for help and try to get to them, but Rapanui told him he can't come with them because he's a grown up. Henzo starts to panic with dread, noticing his hands were old and he too is grown into an adult. Henzo watches his friends swim away and leaving him behind, begged them to not to leave him behind.
It got Henzo shot his eyes open with a gasp of air, pants heavily.
'Just a dream...' Henzo mentally thought with relief which it got Robin and Ventus' attention.
"You're concerned about your friends, aren't you Professor?" Robin asks, earned his attention. "You were calling out all of their names in your sleep just now."
Henzo knows that Robin made a valid point as he stood up and spoke.
"These last 50 years have been a big waste." Henzo told her, walk towards the sink. "I spent all that time researching the Rainbow Mist, only to find Rapanui and the others the way they were way back then. All of those years and look at me now, what was it all for?"
"You've gotten to see your old friends again, so it wasn't a complete waste, was it?" Robin asks.
"I'm not so sure." Henzo said, turns to her with a glass of water.
Before he could give her an answer, they noticed the ship was sailing.
"Does it seem like the ships moving?" Henzo asks curiously.
"Yes, it does, but it shouldn't be." Robin answered.
"I know one idiot who ordered to sail around the Rainbow Mist." Ventus said in annoyance, knew that Luffy was the one who ordered them to sail.
And the young Dragoon is right, Luffy did order Usopp and Zoro to raise the anchor, sailing towards the ship graveyard. Since Luffy didn't pay attention to Henzo's explanation of the Rainbow Mist, he just went on ahead and sail around the graveyard.
"Onward! Full speed ahead!" Luffy shouts with a big grin, pumping his fist in the air.
"About that, are you certain that we're moving forward, Luffy?" Zoro questions skeptically, polishing his sword while Usopp crossed his arms.
"Yeah! I said full speed straight ahead." Luffy answered without looking at the swordsman when Henzo, Robin, and Ventus went upstairs.
"And where exactly are you taking us since you have no idea what you're doing?" Ventus asks.
"Well, we're heading out of the mist, duh!" Luffy remarked, turns to the young Dragoon.
"Don't be ridiculous." Henzo said, turns to the sea. "Once you entered Ape's Concert, there's no leaving it. This region of the sea is not like any other you've seen before."
"Um...I'm pretty sure we pass that ship just a little while ago." Usopp states, leaning against the wooden rails and saw the same wooden figurehead at the ship.
"Ah, don't worry, they're a bunch of ships that look alike, no matter where you go." Luffy told him with a shrug.
"I don't think so. That exact same ship was wrecked at the very first place we dropped anchor." Robin points out, earned their attention. "I remember seeing this statue of that goddess at the bow."
"But what does that mean?!" Usopp exclaims with his face pale, panicked. "Have we really come full-circle to the exact same place we've started from?!"
"With the way you asked, that'll be a yes." Ventus told him. "Sailing through the mist and finding an exit is like we're in the middle of a wild goose chase."
"That's why I asked if you were sure we were going forward earlier." Zoro adds.
"I was watching." Luffy states, raise his finger up. "We were going straight."
"How can you possibly see which way is straight and all of this mist?" Zoro questions.
"He can't. Seis Fleur" Robin sprouts six arms at the wooden frames, grabs hold of the cannon as she aims at the sky and fires the cannonball.
Then, they heard the sound of a cannonball heading straight towards the sea right behind the Going Merry, causing the sea to spout water towards Usopp and Zoro.
"What was the point in that?" Zoro groans with a tick mark on his head.
"She shot the cannon forward, but it landed right behind us!" Usopp exclaims in shock.
"As I thought." Robin said.
"Lot of twist and turns in the mist." Ventus adds seriously.
"Basically yes, but the fabric of space is distorted here." Henzo points out.
"What does that mean?" Zoro inquires.
"It's something that I remembered reading from that book earlier." Robin explains, turns to the swordsman. "See, the inside of the Rainbow Mist is twisted around itself like a maze..."
But before Robin could finish her explanation, Luffy grabs hold of the figurehead while pulling his arms, wrapped his legs around the main mast. Usopp tries to stop the rubber captain, but it's too late.
"Gum-Gum: Rocket" Luffy launches himself towards the sky.
"Too late." Usopp said.
"He just won't learn." Ventus said in annoyance.
"He won't necessarily end up back at the exact location he started from." Henzo told them.
"Luffy, you moron." Zoro muttered in annoyance.
Luffy crashed into the sails, then fell down into the deck with a grunt, leaving a red mark on his face.
"Okay, I get it now, it's a mystery mist." Luffy states. "No matter which way you go, you'll just end up where you started."
"Yeah, that's it, a mystery mist." Usopp and Zoro said sarcastically.
"I'm not quite certain you understand it completely." Henzo said, turns to them.
"Well, we get the part about not being able to get outta here." Zoro points out.
"And the Rainbow Mist has so many twists and turns, we could get lost endlessly." Ventus adds when Luffy launches himself up next to them.
"We don't really have to get outta here anyway, it's fun." Luffy states, but earned a bonk in the head by Zoro and a slap in the chest by Usopp.
"We should join up with Rapanui and the others." Robin suggests, tosses the straw hat as Luffy grabs it and places it on his head.
"All those kids?" Zoro inquires, raise his eyebrow.
"Why?" Ventus questions.
"Don't you think that the best way to get out of Ape's Concert is to ask the people who have been here for so long and made it their territory?" Robin counters with a question, crossed her arms which Henzo is beginning to understand what she means.
"Well, that makes sense, but how are we supposed to find out where they all are?" Usopp asks with a shrug.
"Why don't we ask him? He's right over there." Ventus told them, points at the wreck where Pukau is hiding.
It got Pukau shocked that the young Dragoon knows where he's hiding. Robin was leaning at the wooden railing, noticed Pukau is next to the wreck.
"How did he find out where I was?" Pukau questions himself quietly.
"It's no use hiding." Robin called him with a smirk. "Just Un Fleur"
Robin sprouts only one arm at the wreck, pushes Pukau out from hiding.
"Now would you be a dear, and take us to wherever your leader is hiding?" Robin suggested with a serious glare.
At the Marine ship, Ian was held in a prison cell while Rongo places the tray of food next to the cell. Ian laughed when Robo and Akibi told him about Henzo as an old man and done some research about the Rainbow Mist 50 years ago to get his old friends back.
"Impossible!" Ian states with a laughter, eating a bread. "You say that Henzo has come back and he's becoming an old man now? That's a pretty lame joke if you ask me, kid."
"I'm telling you, it isn't a joke!" Rongo protests as Akibi places a water next to the tray.
"Yeah, he fell into the sea, trying to save us and we haven't seen any sign of him since." Akibi adds, remembering of Henzo pushes Wetton down into the sea and promised them that he'll come after them. "But he live in the world outside here."
"That's what Henzo said, yeah." Rongo agrees. "He's been living in Ruluka this whole time, looking for a way to bring us back from the mist. What's more, he says that 50 years have passed since we came here."
"50 years? Oh, don't be so stupid." Ian said with a smirk, wiping the water out of his mouth and slamming the bottle at the tray. "Have you ever thought that maybe the old man is just playing a little trick on you?"
"Why would he do something like that?" Rongo questions with a glare, making Ian flinch.
"How should I know the reason behind it?" Ian counters, turns away with a huff.
"But if what the old man Henzo told us really is true, I wonder what's happen to the town of Ruluka." Akibi said, turns to Rongo.
"Mom...Dad..." Rongo muttered in tears.
"Anyway, there's no point worrying about it." Ian told them. "You'll just figure out, whether it's true or not once we all make it out of here."
"You know a way to get back?" Akibi questions surprisingly.
"Of course, I do." Ian answered with a smirk, lying. "I am the best raidng captain of the Wetton pirates, after all, and don't you forget it."
"Wow, you really?!" Rongo exclaims. "You can take us back to Ruluka?"
"Sure thing." Ian replies, stands up. "Just give me the keys to this cell. All you have to do is let me out of here, and I'll take charge of you kids and make sure that you get back home."
Both Akibi and Rongo were about to have thoughts of his suggestion, but Ian smirks which he doesn't want to help those kids because he just wants to escape.
"Rongo! Akibi! Don't let him fool you!" Isoka scolds them, earned their attention when she approaches them with a mop and a bucket on her hand, glaring at them. "He only wants to get out of his cell and that's all. Saying he knows how to get out of the Rainbow Mist is just the way of tricking you, he's a liar!"
"That was a lie?" Rongo asks in shock which Akibi is also shocked, but Ian slids his head through the bars, chuckled nervously.
"Isoka, you're tough one." Ian states.
"I won't trust you again." Isoka told him with a scowl. "I haven't forgotten how badly you treated us all!"
Flashback
After the kids and Ian were sailing inside of the Rainbow Mist, they're now sailing their way towards the ship's graveyard while looking for a way out of the mist. The weather is growing tense because of the rain fallen down pretty fast. With Ian and the kids stranded in between the mist and the pirate ship, he spoke.
"Listen up, you pathetic weaklings!" Ian called out, earned their attention. "Being on the sea means being an inch away from danger! So, listen to me! In order to survive, you must follow the orders of the Wetton pirates raiding captain, Ian!"
Once they anchored the ship, Ian ordered the kids to find something that's either valuable or something they can eat. Both Akibi and Pukau found the number of treasure chests that's filled with jewels and gold which Ian was pleased.
"I can't believe it! That ship over there has all full of treasure, too!" Pukau told him.
"Right, take all of it to the captain's quarters." Ian suggested with a smirk.
Then, both Rapanui and Isoka found some food at the wreck, approaching the ship.
"We also found some food." Isoka said with a smile while Rapanui walk past her in silent.
"Okay. Well then, that can go to the captain's quarters too." Ian told her.
Rongo ran towards Ian with panic while warning the others.
"It's a sea servant! It's gonna eat us!" Rongo shouts.
Then suddenly, the Sea King merges out of the sea as it starts lunging on the ship, causing it to tilt to the side and Pukau to slide towards the sea monster.
"Help me!" Pukau shouts in panic as he quickly stood up and ran, but the Sea King slithers after the kids.
Ian dropped his jaw with panic, stood there while the child began to run.
"Don't run away, go fight it!" Ian said, grabs hold of Rongo and tosses him right in front of the Sea King.
"No, Rongo!" Isoka shouts with worry.
Rapanui rush past her, ran after Rongo as the Sea King is inches closer to the boy, he quickly slides, grabs him, and leaps in the air while the sea serpent bites the wooden rail instead. It got the Sea Kings attention when Rapanui lands while placing Rongo next to him.
"Monster!" Rapanui snarled.
It got the Sea King angry as Rapanui charges after it while the sea serpent opened its mouth. Rapanui leaps in midair and making the Sea King missed him.
"Take this!" Rapanui shouts, flicks the Sea King in the forehead and knocked it out.
After the fight is over, Ian and the kids were inside of captain's quarters with the food on the table. Ian was the only one eating most of the food while the kids were only ones eating bread. It got Ian annoyed, noticing the kids were looking down at the floor and they wanted more food.
"Don't look at me like that!" Ian shouts, throwing a bone and making Rongo growled. "Looking at those pouty faces of yours is ruining my appetite! Just remember this, the only reason you stayed alive this long is because I'm on board to help your sorry excuses for pirates. And I haven't even got a 'thanks'! The least you can do is wipe those expresses off your faces!"
Until, they heard a loud noise that causes a rumble of the ship. It got their attention as the ship rumbles again, making Ian and kids flinched.
"Great, what now?!" Ian grunts in annoyance, but panicked when he saw the eye of the Sea King as he hid next to the table.
"He must've been drawn here by the smell of food!" Rapanui points out seriously. "Guys! Get outside! Now!"
And with that, the kids began running out of captain's quarters, much to Ian's dismay.
"What?!" Ian exclaims. "This is my ship! I ordered you to stay here and defend it here-"
Before Ian could finish his sentence, he was stumbled down to the floor when Rapanui walk next to him.
"Your precious ship is more important to you than any of our lives, is it?!" Rapanui snarled with a scowl. "We don't have any use for a leader who thinks like that!"
After Ian and the kids were out of the pirate ship by using a dingy, they watch the ship sailing away and the Sea King swam after it, leading it towards the Rainbow Mist.
"Dammit!" Ian snarled. "It was my ship!"
"I think we're better off without that ship anyway." Rapanui told him. "Our adventure is just getting started. Are you ready?"
Akibi, Isoka, Rongo, and Pukau replied with a nod.
Flashback Ends
After the flashback on her mind ends, Isoka spoke.
"You're always running that fat mouth of yours, and you never think about anyone but yourself!" Isoka said. "We're sick of dealing with you!"
"You can hate me all you want, but that doesn't mean I'm lying." Ian remarked with a smirk. "What if I really do know a way out of here and you decide not to listen?"
"I'll never trust you." Isoka remarked back, walking towards them.
"Go ahead and try me, see if I'm lying." Ian said, sat on the floor with his legs crossed. "Aren't you at least a little concerned about what happened to Ruluka?"
It got Isoka stop since Ian hits right on the mark, felt worried about her home and her family back in Ruluka, including Henzo.
"Think about it, all we have to do is take the treasure out of Ape's Concert, and we won't have to lift a finger again for as long as we live. We don't have to stay here, living a stranded pirates in the mist." Ian suggested, smirking while try to convince them. "Well, what do you say? Come with me, and we'll go back to the outside world."
"Rapanui is the only leader that we have for that we want." Isoka retorted as both Rongo and Akibi smiled. "We will never follow you as long as we live!"
"I can see you're a tough one to win over you, Isoka." Ian groans, scratching his head. "Well, just think it through, okay? Take as much time as you need."
Suddenly, they heard the alarm which it got their attention as Isoka rush toward the communication device next to the wall.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Isoka asks.
"A ship! Everyone, prepare for a battle right now! Fortify our defenses!" Rapanui informed her, ending transmission from the crow's nest as he looked towards the sea. "I wonder, how were they able to figure out where we are?"
Rapanui looks through the binoculars, noticed the Going Merry sail towards the abandoned, but he also saw Pukau with the Straw Hats and Henzo with shock.
"Is that...Pukau?!" Rapanui exclaims in disbelief.
Meanwhile, the Straw Hats, Henzo, and Pukau continued to sail towards the abandoned Marine ship.
"Oh, wow!" Luffy said with big grin, hanging himself upside down against the figurehead. "That ships so cool!"
"It's a wrecked warship, isn't that right?" Robin inquires.
"Yes." Pukau answered, turned towards her. "But right now, it's what we're using as our hideout."
Rapanui was enraged as he leap towards the Going Merry with the sword on his hand.
"Cowards! Just let Pukau go!" Rapanui shouts, landed on the ship with his sword drawn.
"What is talking about?" Luffy asks confusingly, turns to him which it got Rapanui's attention.
"Shut up!" Rapanui snarled as he slices Luffy which he quickly dodged that by leaning his head up while grabbing his straw hat.
"Let him go now!" Rapanui demands as Luffy placed his straw hat on his head with a serious glare on his face.
Ruluka Island
Meanwhile, after Wetton, Flip, Lake, and the group of soldiers arrived at the docks, the pirate ship known as the Tarielishin is being pulled by the guards. Caius, Nami, Sanji, and Chopper were surrounded by the group of soldiers.
Wetton is now a wrinkled old man with red hair and beard, arranging into a so-called 'chin curtain'. He wears a purple uniform with a clack jacket with brown leather trims, shoulder pads with white fur lining and golden rims. He carries a cane that resembled a red bull's head.
"So, you know my name?" Wetton inquires.
"Yes, along with your reputation." Caius told him. "It's no secret that you're a pirate 50 years ago, and a current Mayor of this island."
Wetton growled with a glare on his face when one of the soldiers spoke.
"Mayor! It's the Tarielishin!"
"My dear old ship has returned at last!" Wetton exclaims with relief.
"But grandpa, I don't understand." Lake told him. "Why is this ship returning after all this time away?"
"HEY! I told you to call me Mayor, didn't I?!" Wetton scols his grandson, bonked his head.
"Yeah." Lake whimpered.
"Look over there." Wetton suggested, points at the Rainbow Mist. "50 years ago, my dear ship disappeared in the Rainbow Mist, and now that the ship has returned, it means that the doorway to Ape's Concert has been opened again at last."
"So, basically, it's now or never if we're going to find a way to get the treasure from Ape's Concert, huh?" Nami questions with a smirk.
"Yes, that's right." Wetton replied, but stood up in shock. "Wait! How do you know about the treasure?!"
"I forced your grandson to give us the information." Caius informed him. "You see, he's been trying my patience and I was being merciful by letting him leave with his life."
"Lake! You idiot! After all everything I said about the treasure being a secret!" Wetton scolds him, kicked him in the face.
"I'm so sorry, grandpa...I mean, Mayor." Lake apologizes in teary eyes.
"It must try ones patience, having such a dimwitted family." Nami states as both Sanji and Chopper agrees with a nod.
"You have no idea...HEY, THAT SYMPATHETIC TOWARD ME WON'T HELP YOU ANY?!" Wetton yelled with white eyes and shark-like teeth. "However, you found out about it. Now that you know the secret of Ape's Concert, I cannot afford to let you leave."
The group of soldiers readied their guns, aiming at the Reaper and the Straw Hats.
"You intend to silence us, is that it?" Sanji inquires with a smirk, turns to Wetton.
"No, but you're going to pay 'I found a secret' tax." Wetton told him, smirks with greed. "No less than 10 million berries for each of you."
However, Caius is losing his patience of Wetton's greed as he readied his scythe.
"I have an alternative. Spinning Scythe" Caius then swings his scythe around when Nami, Chopper, and Sanji quickly ducks down, slicing the soldiers throats as blood began to gush out and splattered at the ground as they collapses down.
Wetton and the group of soldiers widen their eyes in dread and horror, watches them getting killed by the hands of the Reaper. Caius places his scythe next to his shoulder, turns to Wetton and the group of soldiers with killing intent look as he slowly walk towards him.
"Don't try my patience, Wetton. If you want your head intact, I suggest you tell us how to get to the Rainbow Mist." Caius snarled as he places the edge of the scythe next to his neck. "Now, tell us how to get there...now..."
Wetton is frightened of his intimidating aura and he noticed the image of the Angel of Death itself from behind him. He began to realize that 'Death' is coming for him, unless he gives the information to the Reaper.
"Alright...Alright...I'll tell you...In order for you to get to the Rainbow Mist, you'll have to go to the Rainbow Tower." Wetton told him.
"What's a Rainbow Tower?" Sanji inquires.
"That is the Rainbow Tower." Wetton told him, points at the tower as the Reaper and the Straw Hats turn towards it. "This tower has its sole purpose, to link Ruluka with the Rainbow Mist."
"I see, which means that we can use it to go there and get to the kids along with Professor Henzo and the Straw Hats." Caius states, turned to Wetton. "Since you know about the Rainbow Tower, maybe you know someone who can get there than any of us, do you?"
Wetton swallowed a lump on his throat, knowing that he won't be able to see the day or finding the treasure at Ape's Concert.
"Lake, call Henzo and get him investigating the mist." Wetton suggested.
"R-Right..." Lake replied. "Get me a Transponder Snail right away and get the Tax Collectors!"
And with that, the group of soldiers began to run for the Transponder Snail and the Tax Collectors.
"Remind to never get on his bad side." Nami said with her face pale as both Sanji and Chopper replied with a nod.
Rainbow Mist
Meanwhile, Rapanui ran after Luffy as he swings his sword which the rubber Captain leaps back.
"Just calm down a sec, will you?" Luffy suggests, raise his hand in defense.
"Quiet! You took Pukau hostage and forced him to tell you where our base was, didn't you?!" Rapanui angrily as he raises his sword, charge after them. "I'll make you pay!"
But just as Rapanui swings his sword, Zoro drew his own katana and deflect the attack in a quick second, forcing him to discard his weapon and sending the blade flying into the sea.
"That's not very nice now, is it?" Zoro said with a serious scowl as he sheathes his sword, leaving Rapanui growled while grabbing his wrist.
"Rapanui! I'm not really a hostage!" Pukau told him, walk towards him. "They just ask me to lead them here. So, I brought them, that's all there is, really."
"Now, they threaten you to make you say that?!" Rapanui snarled, slowly approaching the Straw Hats when Pukau rush in front of him.
"It's true! These are not bad people, I'm being serious!" Pukau protests, showing him that Luffy has Devil fruit powers as he stretches his face. "Look, he's got that! Even when I do this!"
It got Rapanui shocked with his face pale in disbelief, couldn't believe that Luffy ate the Devil fruit power.
"It's a lie!" Rapanui exclaims, not convinced. "This is a strategy that get us to let our guards down, that's all!"
"You misunderstand." Robin told him, earned his attention when she crosses her arms with a serious expression on her face. "We only wanted to find you to ask if there's a way to get out of Ape's Concert, nothing more."
"Once you find out, then that's when you're going to steal all of the treasure from the shipwrecks. I know what you're doing here." Rapanui states with a smirk, waving his finger.
"Don't be stupid, we're not the type of pirates who steals treasure." Ventus told him, earned his attention. "Besides, you're just taking this the wrong way."
"He's right. I know these people, and they would not do that." Henzo adds with an agreement.
"How can I believe anything that a grown up says?!" Rapanui shouts accusingly. "Of course, the treasures what they're after."
"This isn't going anywhere." Zoro comments bluntly.
"Stubborn as a mule." Ventus adds when he and Zoro were about to walk towards Rapanui.
"Hey!" The voice of Usopp called them, earned their attention and noticed the liar walked up to the deck with food on his hands and his head. "Look! Usopp's very special lunches! Now ready for eating!"
Luffy happily run towards the food, starts scarfing the pork buns.
"Would you guys like some too?" Usopp offers with a grin.
"Oh yeah!" Pukau said, run towards the food.
"I can't promise if it's gonna taste good." Zoro told him with a smirk.
"Don't listen to him, he's stupid." Usopp said while Pukau eats a pork bun.
"You do realize he can hear you, right?" Ventus inquires with a sigh, causing Usopp to flinch.
"Woah, this is delicious!" Pukau exclaims. "You make all this by yourself?"
"Yep, there's nothing I can't do." Usopp replies, but notice Luffy scarfing more of the pork buns. "Hey, Luffy! Slow down! Those aren't all for you!?"
"They aren't as good as Sanji's, but they're still yummy." Luffy said in a muffled tone as Robin walk towards him.
"There's some children over there who look like they might want some, too." Robin states with a smile as Zoro walk towards his crew.
Rapanui was shocked that she knows where his friends are, turned towards them when they saw the Straw Hats and Pukau eating some food.
"You guys! Come down too!" Usopp called them, waving his hand.
"These are amazing!" Pukau told them with a smile, showing the pork bun.
"Oh, really?" Akibi asks with a smile.
"Oh yeah!" Rongo adds as he, Akibi, and Isoka jumps off the Marine ship, heading towards the Going Merry to join them.
"Don't take it, they're tricking you!" Rapanui warned them, but his friends aren't listening since they're joining them for lunch. "Hey, whatever happen to the pride of the Pumpkin Pirates?!"
"Rapanui!" Henzo called them, earned his attention. "Prides not going to fill their stomachs."
After that, the Straw Hats explain to the kids about their adventures.
"What?! You guys really came from the East Blue? Seriously?" Isoka questions shockingly.
"All except me and Robin. She's from the West Blue and I was from the North Blue." Ventus told her. "She traveled alone longer than me. I traveled alone for a year, until I met them in the East Blue."
"Which means you must have gone past to Reverse Mountain on the way." Akibi states.
"You guys must be real brave." Rongo adds.
"Oh yeah, you better believe it. We had more adventures than you possibly count." Usopp told them with a grin, which he told them half-lie. "We fought giants and goldfish that swallowed whole islands. And we saved a country from a secret crime organization."
Ventus sighed in annoyance since Usopp is still lying through his teeth, but decided not to tell those kids.
"Wow, really?!" Akibi exclaims when Henzo head towards Rapanui with a plate of food.
"How cool!" Rongo adds excitedly.
"And, the only reason we were able to come out of all those death-defying situations with our lives was my bravery and wisdom." Usopp lied. "And because of these great attributes, I'm known as...Captain Usopp?!"
That got Usopp bonked in the head as he holds his head with a grunt.
"WHAT'S THAT FOR?!" Usopp yelled, turns to Zoro with white eyes and shark-like teeth.
"We're trying to eat here! Say it, don't spray it!" Zoro told him in annoyance, causing the kids laughing.
Soon as Henzo approaches Rapanui, who's leaning against the wooden rail, it got their attention when he drops the plate of food.
"Rapanui...please forgive me..." Henzo pleads sadly as he kneels down which it got Rapanui confused. "I'm so ashamed of myself...I've spent the last 50 years of my life, doing research trying to find a way to get you all out of the Rainbow Mist! And I finally found a way to get back inside, but because of my carelessness, we can't get out! I'm a failure as a pirate Professor! I'm ashamed, but I must ask of you...please! If you know a way out, tell me! We must find a way back to Ruluka! Then once we're out of here, we can return home together!"
"No, there's no way to get out of here." Rapanui told him, leaving Henzo stunned. "And even if there was, I still wouldn't tell any of you. I don't trust any of you at all. It's not like you've given me a real reason to."
"And you call yourselves friends?" Usopp questions with a sigh.
"What's that?!" Rapanui demands, turns to Usopp, who raised his eyebrow with a serious look on his face.
"You can forget the rest about us for a second, but the professor here is your friend, right? I mean, if you can't trust your friends, then who can you trust exactly?!" Usopp shouts as he stood up with his hands on his hips.
"You can just stay out of this!" Rapanui retorted. "You really expecting me to believe this ridiculous story? That 50 years have suddenly go by?!"
"Yes, I do!" Usopp remarked. "Because it doesn't matter how different he looks, or how much time has passed! He once marched under the same flag as you! So, he still one of your friends, you go that?! While the color of the flag may fade, true friendship is forever you know!?"
They knew that Usopp is right since he's been with his crew ever since he left the Syrup Village. But just as Rapanui was about to argue, they heard the sound of a Transponder Snail.
"Oh, wait! That's me." Henzo said as he pulls out a Transponder Snail from his pocket. "Yes, yes, I'm coming..."
And just as Henzo was about to answer, Luffy stretched his arm to grab it which the young Dragoon snatched his arm with his tail.
"Luffy, don't do that again." Ventus told him as he stretched his arm and lets it go, making Luffy smacked his face and down to the deck.
"Yes?" Henzo answered.
"Are you Professor Henzo?" The voice of Caius questions.
"That's right, and who is this?" Henzo asks again.
"My name is Caius, I'm the Reaper from Ul'dah." Caius told him. "And to inform you, the current mayor and his men are a bit occupied at the moment. Are you inside of the Rainbow Mist along with the Straw Hats?"
"Yes, but unfortunately, we were unable to escape at the moment." Henzo informed him. "Do you think perhaps..."
"It's imperative that you need to tell us how to get there since we need to get you all out of the mist." Caius interrupts. "Is there a way?"
"Yes, you need safety search gear that I invented and come get us from the inside." Henzo told him. "And you need to tell Wetton that he'll also need to double check all of the..."
Rapanui walk towards Henzo since he mentioned his name as he grab his wrist, pulling him.
"What are you doing?!" Henzo demands, turned to Rapanui.
"That name you just said, 'Wetton', he's the exact same man who's responsible for burning down Ruluka, isn't that right, Henzo?!" Rapanui sneered when he's close to Henzo's face, causing the scientist to pull his arm away.
"I had to team up with that man! It was the only way I can figure out how to save all of you!" Henzo protests.
"It's all clear to me now, you aren't the Henzo that we knew after all! Admit it!" Rapanui said, accusingly points his finger at him. "If you were a true Pumpkin Pirate as you say, then you would never would've become one of Wetton's pawns in a million years! Never!"
Ventus has about enough as he slowly approaches Rapanui which it got his attention. Ventus then punches Rapanui in the face, sending him flying against the wooden rail.
"I'm just about had enough of your attitude, Rapanui!" Ventus hissed angrily as he looked at Rapanui with his eyes dilated into a dragon.
Ruluka Island
Meanwhile, Caius hangs up the Transponder Snail since he and the Straw Hats got the information they needed.
"Well, well, so those guys really did end up in that weird mist after all." Sanji said seriously, realizing why the ship is inside of the Rainbow Mist.
"Yes, but unfortunately, they're not able to get out of the mist." Caius points out. "But for now, our priority is head to that Rainbow Tower."
"Right, but we need the equipment first." Nami replied.
"Just a minute." Wetton sneered, turns to them. "I told you, you're not allowed to go into Ape's Concert without obtaining my permission."
"We don't take orders from the likes of you, Wetton." Caius remarked with a glare.
"What did you say?!" Wetton snarled, but budged his eyes out with a grunt.
"Hey there, where's the safety gear that the professor was talking about?" Nami asks sweetly.
"Here it is." Lake said with a smile, extends the small crate to her.
"Thank you." Nami thanked him as she, Sanji, Caius, and Chopper ran.
"WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR?!" Wetton yelled, bonked his head with white eyes and shark-like teeth.
"Thanks a lot!" Nami, Chopper, and Sanji said as they ran towards the dingy.
"Move now! I want you to cease them immediately!" Wetton ordered, points at the Straw Hats and the Reaper.
"Yes sir!"
As Sanji, Chopper, Caius, and Nami continued to ran, they noticed the group of soldier were pursuing them.
"And here I was hoping they'd let us run peacefully off into the sunset." Sanji states as he, Caius, and Chopper stop, turns to the soldiers while Nami starts unties the rope.
"But it seem that Wetton just won't learn." Caius said with a disappointed sigh, readied his scythe. "Guess I'm gonna have to kill him after all."
"Hey, save some action for us." Sanji told him as he and Chopper readied their fighting stance.
"Get going, Nami!" Chopper said, use his Devil fruit to turn into a Heavy Point form.
"Sure thing! Leave Luffy and the others to me! I'll take care of it and the treasure." Nami replied as the berries were shown from her eyes along with a grin.
Suddenly, the sound of the water merges as the group of soldiers screamed in fright. Wetton, Caius, Sanji, and Chopper looked up as the saw a Sea King merged out of the sea which the sea serpent is very angry.
"Nami!" Sanji called her.
It got Nami's attention as she looks up, noticed a Sea King as she began to scream.
