It focuses on Joey rewriting the story she had written in Professor Wilder's class, as she explores her regrets over their last night in Capeside. The idea came to me as I watching Season Five, so I have not seen the Season Five finale (or any of Season Six) as of publishing.

During the worst night of his life there's so much Dawson wishes he could go back and change. Even the smallest of changes that would change everything that's happening.
