"Ms Olga, I need to speak with you for a bit," The principal's voice called out.
Olga halts in her step, turning to face him. "Sir, what do you need?"
"Sensei~! Sister Olga and I were just about to meet with Yuji and Megumi. You're going to make us run late," Satoru whines but Olga doesn't pay attention to him and starts walking to the principal.
"Shut the hell up, Satoru. This'll only take a while," The principal chastises his former student.
With that, Satoru waits for Olga at a distance away from where Olga and the principal's conversation was taking place.
"This is about your request, isn't it?"
"Let me be straight with you. You're not really a devoted woman, Olga. Or should I say you're not as religious as I had expected you to be." He stated outright.
"Meaning?" She asked in a monotone voice.
"But you're still a holy woman. Even if you're not exactly faithful, I believe that to some extent you are, so I want you to help guide my current students."
It was an odd request.
Compared to advising married couples going through messy divorces during one of her probono services, guiding suicidal teenagers was a new can of worm unraveled.
Brushing three fingers on her lips, she thinks about the request.
At the very least, this presents as a new change of pace.
"On-field therapy? Well, this is a very interesting request. I'll warn you that I have a bad personality. Although I feel like the main reason you ask me of this is because I am considered a holy woman. But I think you confused a nun and an exorcist as if they're the same thing. I can't help but wonder, if it is because I am a woman?"
She tried to sound sarcastic about the last part.
The principal sighs, realizing that his request may have come across as presumptuous or based on stereotypes. He responds sincerely to Olga's concerns.
"I apologize if my request came off as presumptuous or based on stereotypes. I do understand that being a holy woman and an exorcist are not exactly the same thing, and I respect the unique role you have within the Secret Church. However, it's not just because you are a woman that I'm asking you this. It's because I believe you have experiences and insights that can benefit my students, both as an exorcist and as someone who has found solace in serving God."
He pauses for a moment, gathering his thoughts. "You see, these young sorcerers face a world filled with darkness and danger. They are constantly exposed to curses and the horrors associated with them. While Satoru and the other mentors can train them in combat and technique, I believe there's a need for someone who can guide them spiritually, to provide them with a sense of grounding, peace, and understanding in the midst of chaos."
The principal looks earnestly at Olga. "I'm not asking you to be their therapist or to replace any mental health support they may need. But I believe your presence, your wisdom, and your unique perspective can make a difference in their lives. It's about imparting a sense of balance, compassion, and inner strength to help them navigate this world of curses."
Olga tilts her head, considering the principal's words. While she still has reservations, she recognizes the value in his request. She finally nods and gives a small smile.
"I understand what you're asking of me, sir. I'll do well to help your students but if they are not keen on it, I won't press forward with my advice. "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." " Olga said in a humble tone.
The principal stared at her at which she clarified herself. "It's a verse from the bible,"
As Olga prepares to leave, the principal adds, "And Olga, I appreciate your willingness to consider this request despite your reservations. You may have a "bad personality" but your actions says otherwise,"
"It's only a matter of time until I expose the depths of my cruelty, Yaga-san," She says, finally acknowledging the principal's name as she walks away from him.
As she got further from him, principal Masamichi Yaga could not shake off the sense that he had made a request to someone who was older than him.
In appearance, Olga was much younger but did not look youthful. In her report, it states that she was in her early thirties, and it would seem so, but Olga had this air of… seniority he could not neglect.
–with Satoru–
"Oh Olga~ Are you done?" Satoru chimes in.
"I take it that we'll be meeting Yuji now? It would be nice if you could tell me more about him, instead of acting like a fool," She chastised although Satoru didn't seem to take offense to that.
"But where's the fun in that?"
Olga keeps quiet, not wanting to entertain the man with an answer. She trudges forward and soon they begin to walk.
Along the way, Satoru used his cursed technique to reach a secluded area in the city of Tokyo. They enter the streets of Harajuku where they would be set to meet with the third first-year student along with the other first year.
Satoru tries to make light-hearted conversation with Olga but she proved to be an unperturbed woman.
"Seriously, Olga you're too stiff. You might actually scare my students with your cold demeanor,"
"God bless your students, I don't even think I'm actually a scary person to begin with,"
"Really? You don't look all that approachable, and your scar is quite intimidating. I might want to caution my students with "Beware of the scarred-face woman from the church." They'll thank me for the heads up,"
Olga chose not to entertain him with a needless reply.
The walk could've been a pleasant and quiet one, but since it wasn't in Satoru's nature to appreciate the tranquility of a silent walk, he kept opening his mouth about useless matters.
Olga isn't particularly annoyed at Satoru. It was a simple fact that she didn't really care for what he said or did so it didn't affect her.
As Satoru continued his banter, Olga maintained her composure, her expression unchanged. She had heard of Satoru's playful nature and knew how to filter out his remarks. This prompted Satoru to whine and become slightly irritated because he couldn't get a reaction out of her.
They entered the bustling streets of Harajuku and Olga couldn't help but observe the vibrant atmosphere and the eclectic fashion styles of the people around them. The colorful array of clothing and unique accessories caught her attention, briefly distracting her from Satoru's chatter.
Finally, they arrived at the designated meeting spot, where Yuji and the other first-year student were waiting.
A silvery touch runs down Olga's spine. The overwhelming intensity of a sinister force emanated before her. Strangely, she didn't feel threatened by it.
In fact, the presence of Sukuna couldn't compare to the dense atmosphere of the battlefield.
"Sorry for the wait, some things came up and sister Olga here, will be tagging along with us," Satoru announces to his students. "Olga, this is Itadori Yuji and Fushiguro Megumi,"
"Nice to meet you, sister Olga," Yuji greeted her politely.
And Megumi follows suit. "Hello, Olga-san,"
Olga nods her head in acknowledgment. "It is my pleasure to meet you. I hope we get along,"
She forces a smile.
Fushiguro… she felt as though she had heard that before. But from where?
For a moment, Olga's eyes widened as she landed her sights on the dark-haired youth. His hair was spiky, and he had deep dark blue eyes.
Megumi had features she felt a certain familiarity to, but she couldn't quite put her fingers on it.
His eyes especially reminded her of someone in particular.
She remembers now.
It belongs to the eyes of a dead man she once knew.
