Nothin' but love for you

Think I've forgot, you love me

Days Later

Brooke heard knocking at her front door. She jumped and flattened her dress.

"I'm so nervous. I've been overthinking so many aspects."

"What if it doesn't work out?" Brooke asked.

"What if it does?" Lucas asked.

"You have yet to back down from a challege. This will be no different. Except this time around we're facing it together." Lucas reassured her.

Lucas took her hand in his. As they walked over to the entryway.

Brooke unlocked the front door and smiled warmly.

"Ethan. This is Mr. and Mrs. Scott." The social worker introduced.

He smiled shyly. Not looking at either of them for very long.

"It's just you living here with us. We could told some of the food and drinks you like so we have plenty of that." Lucas explained.

"You are going to have you're own room. You have a closet full of clothes and we bought you some toys. This will be you're home now."

"We want you to feel comfortable and safe here." Brooke proclaimed.

"We could show you around if you want.?" Lucas asked.

Ethan shook his head in agreement.

When Brooke reached her hand out to him. He instantly flinched and looked away.

"Hey no one is going to hurt you or anything like that here."

"I meant what i said when i told you. You were safe." Brooke reassured him.

And with that. Ethan took her hand and lead the way towards the staircase.

"I'll get some food ready down here." Lucas announced.

As he made his way towards the kitchen.

I need to make what's going on here with Brooke work. And i don't want to string you along.

Lucas typed out. What he felt for Peyton was a result of the past. And he needed to put his all into this family unit. Ethan deserved that. And so did Brooke.
