Chapter 9
Weeks Later
Ethan officially becoming a Scott. Was one of the most memorable days of our marriage. We took pictures and video. I bought a photo album and placed it inside there. Along with framing a copy of the photo with all three of us.
We were finally a family. And nothing had felt better and more then that.
"I think it's time we moved. I think we're outgrowing this place and we need a bigger yard. A pool. A longer driveway. More bedrooms." Brooke announced.
Lucas had stopped typing on his laptop. With so much going on lately thnking creatively was the last thing he had the inspiration to do.
Brooke had begun creating a baby clothes simply calling it Mini Scott.
"I've been thinking the same thing. I actually already bought a house. It's been updated with more space and the original buyers accepted my offer." Lucas explained.
"I bought the house you grew up in. It felt like fate."
"It has more bedrooms and everythin you remember. Victoria and Ted have no real tie to keep it. According to them."
"I didn't feel right letting anyone else live in it."
"What do you think?" Lucas asked.
Brooke wrapped him in her arms. Kissing him softly.
"I love you. This is one of the many reasons. I fell in love with you again."
"When do we leave.?" Brooke asked.
Lucas kissed her again. "As soon as we can."
The number of days it took for them to move out and into Brooke's childhood home was a blur. It included moving trucks and anything else required. But once it was over and the three of them were settled in to the house.
Ethan getting her old room with two extra roms to spare.
Brooke and Lucas knew it was worth it.

"And you thought our child having a red bedroom wasn't gender neutral. It'll work great. It's looking very much like a baby's room in here."
"Just you wait. I'm going to get bigger and moody."
"You ready for that Mr. Baker.?" Peyton asked.
"Ready and waiting." Julian replied. Kissing her softly.
"I mean i can barely see a bump there." Julian teased.

"We have three kids Nathan. We are complete as a family."
"We have Jamie. Our girls. We need no more."
"I'm not getting my tubes tied. That is major surgery."
"Either you get this done or you're going to playing alot of one on one. And taking long cold showers."
"Or we could just stop having sex. That's always a choice." Haley proclaimed. Handing him the doctor's appointment card.

"Daddy has to do book promo and fan events. While you and momma stay here."
"And no you can't come along. Trust me it's just work. Boring adult stuff. You wouldn't like it." Lucas explained to Ethan.
"Will you miss us.?" Ethan asked.
"All the time but we can talk on the phone and video chat. I'll bring you something. A keepsake." Lucas replied.
"I love you dad." Ethan said.
Lucas engulfed the small boy into a hug. I love you too son." He replied. Ethan was 5 now. He had officially been with them a whole year.
"You take care of you're mom and behave." Lucas instructed.
"Call me when you get there. Then call me before bed and call me in the morning. Or we can video chat."
"I'm going to miss you alot." Brooke said.
"I'll miss you more. But just think how fun our reunion will be. I love you." Lucas proclaimed.
"I love you too." Brooke replied.
Brooke sighed deeply. Holding a crying Ethan in her arms. As they watched Lucas leave for the airport.
