Later on that night

"You waited up for me.?" Lucas asked. Once he entered the home.

"Why wouldn't I. Ethan wanted to wait up but i insisted he go to sleep. The twins are worn out. They won't be up until morning."

"I think. I know i was in my head about getting this surgery done."

"When i saw myself i could only see imperfections."

"I don't like being vunerable. I've never been comfortable with that."

"But it took this therapy session for me to realize that i've been pushing you away. Keeping you at arms length. And i had to face my reasoning as to why." Brooke explained.

"You have my attention and focus." Lucas replied.

"Because then it'll be easier to cope when you leave." Brooke confessed.

That revelation took Lucas off guard. "Where am i going.? He asked.

"I've been here by you're side. With Ethan. The twins. Just like i told you i would be. There is no reason to ever question my love or loyalty to you." Lucas proclaimed.

Brooke breathed a sigh of relief. "I'm sorry. I've been all over the place. Moody and impulsive. I'm going to keep seeing the therapist and i'm not going to get the plastic surgery."

"I want to embrace my body instead of being so critical and judgemental."

"I want nothing more then for us to start over."

"To get back to the place where we were before if not better."

"I need you." Brooke stated matter of fact.

"I need you more." Lucas replied.

Brooke had come to the conclusion some time ago. But she needed to voice it to him.

"I could survive losing my career. My reputation. My money. But i wouldn't be able to go on without you and our kids."

"That is the only legacy i care about loving and nurturing. Giving all i have into. I know i've lost sight of us. But i'm going to work hard to get us back to stable place." Brooke proclaimed.

"I want to take you away from here. For awhile. Just you and me."

"Would you be interested in that.?" Lucas asked.

"Yes. We never did have a honeymoon. Which is something i always wanted us to have." Brooke admitted.

"When is the last time we had time alone without the kids.?" Lucas asked.

Brooke couldn't remember really she wasn't sure if there was a time.

Their life had been consumed with being parents and their careers

That they lost track of their relationship and making that important too.

"I'm want to go where you go." "To reconnect as just husband and wife." Brooke proclaimed.

Days Later. As they were entering the airport together.

They avoided camera flashes and questions from reporters.

One of the reporters asked Lucas what he thought about the separation news between Peyton Sawyer and Julian Baker.

"I have no comment. Me and my wife have a plane to catch." Lucas replied.
