After everything you did for love
Was it worth it?
"What goes on in our marriage isn't really you're business." Lucas added in.
"Actually it is. I'm there to pick up the pieces. Brooke loves you in a way she never loved anyone. No one can break her heart the way you can. You have this hold on her. And you know that." Rachel replied.
"After everything Peyton has done. Why would you allow her any space in you're life at all.?" Rachel questioned.
"Is she worth risking the life you and her built?
"Peyton has no respect or care what limits are pushed as long as gets you. Yet you think friendship is all she will settle for.?" Rachel asked.
"You want to know you cling to Brooke so tightly. It's because without her no one would notice you at all. The reason that you're life is empty and people don't take you seriously you're a joke."
"You can't stand on you're own and out of all the women Mouth could of gotten with he picked you i will never understand it."
"But then again it's clearly pity. Brooke is the only reason anyone recognizes you're name. It's pathetic."
"Are you going to go pout. Cry. Tell me that it isn't true."
"You don't like or love yourself. And somehow that's our problem." Lucas proclaimed.
"Talk to you're wife. I'm getting out of here." Rachel said.
"Go call you're dealer." Lucas replied.

Hours Later
"The kids are asleep. Crashing from all the food and dessert from today. It was the perfect day really." Brooke said.
"It was. In alot of ways. But i've been wanting to talk to you for awhile now. But i haven't been sure how to say it and what my friendship with the person even means." Lucas replied.
"Who are you talking about.?" Brooke asked.
Lucas loved his wife and family. There was nothing untrue about that. But Peyton needed him in a way Brooke never had.
Was it ego. The way she looked at him. Truthfully he couldn't pin point it. He didn't have feelings for Peyton.
But he liked being the person she depended on. Who saved her.
Brooke sighed deeply. As she picked up her cellphone. It was buzzing over and over.
Given the late hour she hadn't expected anyone to be contacting her. But when she saw who it was. She picked up right away.
"Mouth. What's going on.?" Brooke asked. Clutching her cellphone tightly.
Brooke felt her heart sink. "I'll be right there. I love you too." She replied. Ending the call between them.
"What wrong.?" Lucas asked.
Noticing the change in Brooke's face.
"Rachel overdosed again. Mouth took her to the hospital."
"I have to get over there. I'll let you know whats going on when i find out more." Brooke explained as she rushed out the door.
Lucas stared at himself in the mirror. As he replayed his earlier conversation with Rachel.
"Who was Peyton turning me into? Who was i letting her make me become.?" Lucas asked himself.

Brooke drove as quickly as she could to the nearby hospital. She scanned the waiting room and rushed over to Mouth. Engulfing him in a hug.
"Our girl is going to be okay."
"Relapses are apart of recovery. Anything can trigger that." Brooke said. Wanting to reassure him.
"I missed something. I thought she was doing alot better." Mouth replied.
"She didn't want to go treatment last time. But she clearly needs it."
"I'll cover it. She just needs to go agree to go." Brooke announced.
Brooke watched as a doctor came through the double doors and Mouth rushed over.

Peyton smiled at the sight of Lucas at her front door.
"I've been looking forward to a late night visit from you." Peyton announced.
"I can't do this anymore Peyton. Being in you're life."
"It's causing turmoil and tension. I haven't even told Brooke yet."
"I need this to be over." Lucas said.
"You can't cut ties with me Luke. What about Ellie.?" Peyton replied.
"She's Julian's. What does that have to do with me.?" Lucas asked.
"What if she was yours.?" Peyton asked.
"She's not. I wouldn't cheat on my wife. Especially with you." Lucas replied.
"I had dreams wrapped up in you. She took you from me."
"And all i have to do is fix it. I can."
"You still feel something for me Luke."
"I know you do." Peyton said.
