I awoke to the sound of pacing it was early from what I could see at first glance Lucas hadn't slept at all but he was wide awake on edge in some way. The look on his face I couldn't recognize.
(Lucas the kids won't be up for school in awhile. What's going on.?) I asked.
(They have to stay here. They aren't safe at my house. I'm not safe there.)
(I have to keep them safe.) Lucas proclaimed.
(Why aren't they safe there why aren't you safe there.? I don't understand Lucas.) Brooke replied.
(The dream. The nightmare. Promise me they will stay here. I have to make it safe.)
(I started this. I have to end it.)Lucas proclaimed.
Brooke took a breath. Hugging him tightly.
(Alright. They will stay here for the week. School just started nothing much happening anyway.)
(You look tired Luke. You should get some rest.) (Then some food once you're up.) Brooke suggested.
(I can't think in here. I'm going for a drive.) Lucas announced.
(Let me go with you.) Brooke insisted.
(No. They need you here.)
(I'll come back.) Lucas announced. Before going into the bedroom grabbing his car keys and leaving the home.

Lucas drove to her home and didn't see her there. He drove to Karen 's cafe. And saw her there. In line.
Just living life without a care in the world.
(Stay away from us!From me. My children. Brooke.!) Lucas exclaimed.
Peyton looked to him. (You don't look well hon.) She replied.
He felt eyes watching. Cellphones recording but he couldn't stop himself.
He was just at the edge and couldn't stand that she was so in affected by everything she did.
Lucas left the cafe. He drove home. He went into his closet and grabbed his gun.
He stared at himself in the mirror.
It's the only way. Peyton has to die. She won't leave them alone. She destroyed you're family. You're life. Enough!) Lucas said to himself.
