Lucas was taken aback by her laughter.
(This was all apart of her plan. To make sure you were always tied to her.)
(Always is what we were supposed to have. Keith waited 17 years for Karen.)
(I can and will wait for you Luke.) Peyton replied. Before walking away from him.
Lucas had made himself clear but Peyton was in denial. He expected that.
When he saw Brooke's name flash along his cellphone screen.
He picked it up. And made his way towards his car. Once Brooke announced they needed to meet.
He found himself in front of Clothes over bros. He was surprised to see Brenda at her mom's side.
Lucas got out of his car and went straight over to them.
(Tell him what you told me sweetheart.) Brooke said.
Brenda took a breath and told her dad what she had revealed to her mom.
Lucas was very surprised and shocked to hear of other kids treating his little girl this way.
He learned very soon that Ellie Peyton 's daughter was the ring leader.
He hugged his daughter tightly. Apologizing that this has happened at all.
Brenda was reassured loved and supported by her parents.
She relieved that they would fix everything. Which is why she went back inside and decided to have a tea party with her purple monkey.

(Thank you for not waiting to tell me. Peyton made it seem like they were friends.) Lucas said.
(She lied I expect that. She has known what's been going on and keeping it quiet.)
(The invitation for a playdate had nothing to do with the girls. It was about getting more time with you uninterrupted.) Brooke stated matter of fact.
(I'm sorry for not believing you about her.) Lucas replied.
(So it's safe to say I'll have enough money to post bail you know when I get the cops called on me for breaking and entering and beating up Peyton.)
(I mean Ellie may be a mean girl but Peyton is pulling the strings.) Brooke proclaimed.
(Or we could talk to Peyton and come to an understanding.) Lucas suggested.
(Or I could handle this and you just hang back. I'll do whatever I have to to protect our kids.) Brooke replied.
(And I won't?) Lucas asked.
(This situation requires action. Talking isn't enough.) Brooke proclaimed.
(I know and I don't just want to sit on the sidelines.) Lucas replied.
