Prologue- Charles

" We're looking for Benny." says Charles Wendellheim.

Charles Wendellheim was the leader of the EONV or the enforcers of new vegas. There were 3 people in the group including him, Joseph Martin and Karl Smith. The group was rather mystifying with Charles Wendellheim being the most mysterious out of the group due to the first generation survivors of the great war claiming that he lived in their era which would make him about 200 years old.

It was rather strange that he was not being paid by Mr House the sole proprietor of the New Vegas strip which he is an enforcer of. They were all rather legendary however with cybernetic enhancements from increasing their lifespan SPECIAL but Charles had been alive since the great war and was said to be a ghoul, a necrotic species of humans. had informed the EONV that they were supposed to claim a casino chip called the platinum chip.

The only one informed of the platinum chip's capabilities was the leader Charles but the rest of the two members weren't informed of its abilities.

The platinum chip was held by Benny, one of the leaders of the casinos of the New Vegas Strip. The casino was the tops which was mostly focused on jazz and 50s singing. Charles, Joseph and Karl went to the tops and asked Pacer the 2nd in command to Benny where he was.

"Wait, Wait hold on you can't just talk to the boss he got important shit to do baby and you two I have an eye on your muttie friend make sure he causes no problems."

After that Charles had a look of clear frustration on his face and showed him his badge of the EONV with him telling Joseph and Karl doing the same. Pacer had a look of surprise on his face "EONV, oh shit I'm sorry Baby. You wanna know where Benny is in his suite in the tops. 2nd floor 4th room.

Once Charles was about to speak Joseph with clear anger on his face said " Aren't you forgetting something asshole you need to call off his guards." Then Karl spoke and said "Also you're his friend aren't you. Tell him that you have a surprise for him or something, say a pretty lady to make sure he stays in his room".

Charles then spoke up and said " That going through your head Pacer"? Pacer had a look of fear and stammered when speaking "Ye-a I will do that now. "Good said Charles,Joseph, I want you to stay here and keep an eye on this snake."

Once Karl and Charles got to the elevator Joseph had told them through both Karl's and Charles's pipboy which they were outfitted with by that Pacer had informed Benny to remove his men but Charles had a realization that each casino had code words that meant something if the person speaking was in danger and Charles asked, "What were the exact words that Pacer said?" and Joseph responded with "Benny I hired a hooker for you from gommorah and I don't think you want your men with you while fucking it cat.

Charles immediately recognized it as the code word for Benny was in danger and Charles told Joseph that he was coming back down now and Karl said "Why are we going back down, we've got to settle this business with Benny and charles responded with "Cat is the code word that Benny is in trouble, each New Vegas casino develops code words for themselves and Cat just happens to be one of them.". Once back down Pacer was confused on why he was there and said "Why are you back down baby, don't you. Abruptly Charles smashed the radio and Karl announced to the people at the tops that "This is EONV business don't intervene" then Pacer tried to run from the tops counter but Joseph caught him then he grabbed him and moved him to the tops elevator with Karl and Charles following behind then then Joseph said "Smart plan Charles an Karl even if I wasn't informed I guess we are not members of the EONV for nothing."

Charles then said "It wasn't as effective as I wanted it to be but it's the best we could've done from that 10 second elevator ride."

Once the group got off the elevator they reached the door of Benny but it was locked then Joseph silenced Pacer covering his mouth and then the EONV entered.

Once they entered however Benny's guard's were behind the doors and hit Karl in the head with a lead pipe stunning him but Wendellheim shot him in the head ending his life and then another guard came from the opposite side of the door trying to hit joseph but he got out his gun and shot him. Once the guards were down the 3 remaining guards with their pipes charged at them and tried to overwhelm them but then Joseph announced "We got Pacer I want your guard to stop or we'll blow his brains out." With a smirk Benny said "Fine do it, I have no use for him anyway.

He failed in his plan to surprise attack you guys anyway." Pacer had a look of fear on his face then Karl who just recovered from being stunned said "Fine then have it your way." Joseph shot Pacer in the head and just as the guard's were coming on both Wendellheim and Karl Joseph shot Benny in the foot which made him scream in a yelp of pain. With that the guards were charging but then Wendellheim announced "Stop, has Benny not told you who we are we are the EONV and I am the leader of it and if one of you attack us and even kills us I promise House will know and his securitrons will kill all of you now leave to make sure that doesn't happen to one of you."

Karl then said "You want proof here are our badges." Each member of the EONV threw their badges on the floor.

The guards then picked up the badges and once they saw it they had fear in their eyes and immediately apologized closing the door and leaving the room. Wendellheim commanded Joseph to lock the door and they were in the room with Benny and the dead guards and Pacer's lifeless body. Wendellheim then announced to the EONV "Search his suite, I'm gonna interrogate him."

Once the EONV members searched the suite Wendellheim said to Benny "Surprised to see us?" " How did you know I stole the platinum chip" said Benny "House has eyes everywhere. You didn't think you were going to get away with his property now did you." "Listen baby let me keep the platinum chip and once I take over New Vegas, i'm digging a hole to the lucky 38 i'll pay you more than house and actually since your part of the EONV maybe you could bring me to the lucky 38 in the guise of me being captured and taken to ?'

Charles was laughing once Benny told him about his deal and said" You want to know something before you die. I am house's son Charles House, Charles Wendellheim is my false name to fool New Vegas that his enforcer is just a merc but I have absolute loyalty towards house. He is humanity's savior who stopped the nukes and you are some pathetic fiend that he hired and you think you can replace him as leader I think not. He adopted me from those damn chink commies and made me the man I am today. All those securitrons you think you can mimic a fraction of his power? No but you will die today. I can guarantee the question is if you want to suffer or die quickly. You will die quickly if you don't reveal this secret because unlike them I don't work for money I work for something bigger: Humanity and family. Do we understand each other?"

Benny with a look of fear said the stories are true about how you have been with house before the great war and how he stopped the nukes and how during the power shutdown you were the guardian of the lucky 38.

Wendellheim had a look of anger on his face and said "Do we understand each other?" Benny with a look of fear on his face said yes in a silent tone.

The EONV was done searching and told Wendellheim that he had a robot that could hack into House's network. Wendellheim thought about his life how during the time the lucky 38 was shut down all his limbs, how he was conscious but couldn't move, it was the worst time in his life but once power was back on he was ecstatic and willing to do whatever it took to provide stability towards New Vegas.

But when the EONV announced Benny had a robot that could hack into House's network he was angry because they had worked hundreds of years to revive New Vegas. He had so much love for house for adopting him from china to America and training him to the prestigious position he was in today.

After learning about the robot he was furious and asked Benny "Who made this tech for you. You want a quick death then you are gonna have to tell me." Benny realizing he was screwed revealed the name as a followers of the apocalypse doctor which was an organization who helped people for free in freeside the doctor's name was Emily Ortal, Wendellheim respected them but thought of them as inefficient in dealing with the wider problems.

After receiving the information Wendellheim shot Benny with his pistol killing him once that was over with Karl said that "Actually the securitron he programmed will tell us everything it knows. They programmed it to answer any questions like idiots so do you still wanna keep it?" "It has no use anymore besides if somebody else found it that would be disastrous so it is better to destroy it."

After that they called House to inform him of the situation that they had destroyed Benny's securitron and that house should get it out of New Vegas's network which he did and that he had the platinum chip and that they were going to the followers of apocalypse tent in freeside to make them sign a pact to not investigate any of house's tech.

After leaving Benny's suite house sent securitrons to clean up the situation in the suite and calm the people at the tops. After walking through freeside they reached the followers of the apocalypse camp.

Freeside was rather underdeveloped compared to new vegas. Wendelheim thought it rather unfortunate it was like this but it was that for the time being.

House had to focus on new vegas first. In the camp of the followers of the apocalypse they made their way to a tent in the camp which happened to bethe leader Julia Farkas after they asked her who she was and asked for the location of Emily Ortal but that they needed to put there weapons away Joseph angry at that comment said "We are the EONV and we have jurisdiction to bring our weapons in this area but I don't need them to beat you up until you let us keep them."

Julia Farkas shocked said "Well you could either leave or not bring your weapons." Karl calmed the situation and said "We would just like to ask her some questions.

She happened to hack one of our securitrons." Julia Farkas said "Fine then but I'm gonna have to accompany you when you meet at her tent. Follow me." Once they make their way to Emily Ortal Wendellheim said "We came to ask you some questions about the securtion you helped a tops casino leader named Benny make?" Emily Ortal said "Yes I helped him reprogram it in exchange for info on House's technology." "Well House doesn't appreciate you snooping on his tech so if you could sign this pact provided by House that you don't research on House's tech but we can give you some odd tech that we've collected and you can work on that." Julia and Emily then reluctantly said "Ok" then the pact was signed.
