"If money was no object and you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?" Ryo asked. He was lying on his back on a picnic blanket in Central Park, his head resting comfortably on Dee's lap.

Leaning against the trunk of the tree they'd chosen to have their picnic beneath, Dee paused in trailing a blade of grass along his lover's bare arm.

"Anywhere at all?" he asked.

"Anywhere on planet earth."

"Would I be alone, or would you be with me? 'Cause I don't want to be anywhere you're not."

Ryo smiled at that. "We'd be together."

"Okay then, guess I'd pick a tropical island paradise."

"We've already done that."

"I know, and it was awesome. I'd do it again. What about you?"

"I've always wanted to see Machu Picchu in Peru, or maybe Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Chichen Itza or Teotihuacan in Mexico."

"Piles of old rocks?"

"Ancient heritage sites."

"Why?"

"Because they're amazing. They've been standing for thousands of years, monuments to civilisations that are long gone."

"I'd rather spend my vacations relaxin', not hikin' through jungles," Dee said with a chuckle. But he silently promised one day he'd make Ryo's dreams a reality.
