He looks paler than he used to, freckles starkly contrasting against his skin. The dark circles under his eyes are startling. His emerald eyes are noticeably duller–not that he himself could tell. Barney had noticed though.

I wanted to showcase the life of one of the NPC's from HL2 that helps you early on. This NPC is the one who holds the door for you in the early parts of the game, whom you never see again. This is an AU, still set in the same universe but everyone dies near the end to keep the combine away from Gordon Freeman. Everything else continues as normal. I did my best to fix SPAG.

It's a bit harder than he thought it'd be though just to go shopping, when old habits die hard. (A comedic story full of wholesomeness and humor. One-shot atm.)

This Roxius short had been just been caught recently and released back here. This was long after Team Fortress 2 and its own archive barely established on FFN. This was apparently before the infamous "Meet the Pyro" trailer and he tweaked the formula on this one.

Told as a form of personal diary from the perspective of "PFC Taylor Davis" we follow 1st Brigade, 2nd Squads lives under Combine rule - and defying the odds to remain alive if only to collect on that money owed from 5th Squad and live to see another card game.
