"We'll take a break after this chapter. Looks like you've got a lot to plan." Chiron said to the ones the fates had chosen for the function.

"You don't say." Nico sighed. Chiron chuckled.

"So are you going to help?" Percy asked with raised eyebrows.

"Oh no." Chiron shook his head. "I'd rather stay out of my brothers' love lives." He declared.

"Well, we'd rather stay out of whatever our dads do as well. I'd say we already know more than normal children do." Thalia said dryly. Everybody snickered. Hades, Poseidon and Zeus chuckled.

AT LEAST THE CAMP FOOD WAS GOOD…her favorite comfort food

"You, my friend, have good taste." Connor said approvingly. Hazel bowed.

It made her think about being a little…"I don't know why…but it does."

Percy gasped in horror.

"I forgot this part. You made me forget blue food." He glared at Hera who at this point was just looking confused.

Just for a moment…She giggled as she topped off Percy's glass

"Looks like your looks got to her as well." Annabeth chuckled fondly at Percy.

"Well. She has good taste then?" Percy said.

"No doubt." Annabeth said

"Guys…please…we're already going to have a lot of flirting…" Thalia said.

"This wasn't flirting, Thals…" Percy said. Thalia raised an eyebrow. "It was complimenting each other." He said with a smirk.

"You and your alternate words." Thalia shook her head.

"Flirting is limited, cousin." Percy sighed. Everybody laughed.

"He totally gets that from you." Triton said to Poseidon who smirked as well.

Then disappeared in a gust…about who liked whom and all the other gossip

Piper groaned. Aphrodite and Silena chuckled.

As usual, the Fifth Cohort took the place…the dining hall next to the kitchen.

"Everybody has honor. Whether it remains or not is decided by your actions not by your rank." Castor sighed.

"I know, brother. The Fifth Cohort always believed what you are saying right now as well." Dakota said to Castor who gave him a small smile.

Hazel's table was always the least…leaning whenever she looked at him

"Really?" Dakota asked in surprise. Pollux and Dionysus leaned behind Castor to look at him.

"No. Its fine." Dionysus said.

"Yeah. Its much better now." Reyna nodded.

"Ah. Haven't drunk too much Kool Aid here." Dakota grinned.

"Honestly, that much sugar is not healthy." Will shook his head.

"Maybe, you could have some juices. Strawberry and grape juices might be the best." Apollo suggested.

"That's good. Gonna try it." Dakota nodded.

It wasn't a good sign that he was…"Party, Percy. Whatever."

Everybody snickered. Percy chuckled.

"When I reached CHB, I was being chased by a monster. When I reached CJ, I was being chased by two monsters and was carrying a goddess. When my presence was announced at CHB, I was called Perry Johnson. And at CJ, it was Party, Percy. I love it so much." He said genuinely.

"Why do you love that?" Dakota asked in confusion.

"Because. Nostalgia." Percy grinned.

"That's true." Thalia nodded. "Similar situations. Not to mention, Dakota is also a son of Bacchus so both of them gave interesting greetings." She said. Dionysus and Dakota couldn't help but grin at each other.

"Um, thanks," Percy said…So unless I met you there somehow—"

"Funny, cuz." Percy grumbled.

"I mean…you have met me in the underworld when the three of us were summoned down there." Nico said, gesturing to Thalia.

Dakota belched. "Ambassador from Pluto, they call him."

"That sounds kind of cool." Travis nodded.

"Thought it would be Ambassador from Hades." Chris said.

"That's even better because dad's name is Hades, yes but some people also refer to the Underworld as Hades and some people, I don't know why, refer to hell as Hades as well…its strange to me but whatever. So technically, according to their logic, I'm an ambassador from hell." Nico stated. Everybody burst out laughing and Nico grinned.

"My name isn't an alternate word for hell. That's Tartarus." Hades shook his head.

Reyna's never sure what to do with this…unicorns would hurt themselves in their panic

"Hey!" Dakota pouted with mock offense. Hazel gave him a sheepish smile.

Their horns were precious metal…Those sea-green eyes made her unsettled

"The guy can delve out all your secrets from your soul." Frank said.

"I can do nothing of that sort." Percy snickered.

"Might as well been able to." Grover grinned.

"Did you and Nico grow up…though Nico didn't say that.

Nico grimaced.

"She was gone."… find Hazel…in New Orleans, I mean."

Nico sighed.

Dakota grunted. "Unless you believe…"Aren't fauns vegetarian?"

"He means the plate." Grover sighed, still not liking how the fauns were begging but at least they were working now.

"Not the cheeseburger, man!... "Don't be rude."

Percy snickered.

"I've been told I smell…tasty to monsters." He said. Everybody chuckled.

"No, man, I just—"…"Strategies for losing?" Dakota muttered

"Oh don't worry. You won't lose in the war games with Percy around." Beckendorf grinned at Dakota.

"Came to realize that." Dakota nodded.

"Death Boy is right!" Vitellius said.

"Hey! Only me, Thalia, Jason and Hazel can call Nico death boy." Percy said.

"Sure thing, water boy." Nico smirked at Percy.

"This legion fights worse than we…he was dragged off to the praetor's table

Everybody laughed.

"That's one way to talk to the lares without them saying everything." Reyna said amusedly. Nico grinned.

"Ow!" Don protested…"That would be a disaster.

Everybody snickered.

"That's true." Ares nodded, looking at Dionysus.

"Oh cut it out. I finally got to drink wine after ages." The wine god rolled his eyes.

"Well, before then." Ares said with raised eyebrows.

"I am the god of wine." Dionysus stated.

"That's a valid point, brother." Hermes grinned at Ares.

"Agreed!" Apollo jumped in.

"Oh stop it now." Artemis said to them.

Ares looked a little surprised at Hermes calling him brother but grinned. It had been long since he, Apollo, Hermes and Dionysus had hung out with Artemis scolding them.

He's addicted to red Kool-Aid. Drinks it with three times the normal sugar

"What?!" Will yelped.

"At least, you're a god now and the sugar wouldn't bother you." Apollo said to Dakota.

And he's already ADHD…All I got is lactose intolerance."

Everybody chuckled. Frank sighed and shook his head.

"At least that's gone now." He said

Percy grinned. "Seriously?"… "Their loss," Percy said

"Agreed." Everybody nodded

"What about you, Frank?"… unless you're a child of Apollo.

"That's crap. Anybody who is good at it can do archery." Annabeth stated.

"Agreed." Artemis and Apollo nodded.

"They're right. You're good at archery. It's a skill not many possess." Ares said to Frank who smiled at everybody.

Then you've got an excuse…I hope my dad is Apollo

"Oh well." Ares sighed dramatically.

"Yeah, your mom apparently caught his eye." Clarisse smirked.

"Yeah." Frank sighed dramatically as well.

"Now, you're just teaming up on me." Ares said with a faux pout. Everybody laughed and Frank and Clarisse high fived.

But I don't know…They ate in silence for a few minutes.

Everybody sighed. Ares winced.

"Of course, I would claim you." He said to Frank with a painful small smile.

A dad who wouldn't claim you…Hazel knew that feeling. She sensed Percy could relate, too

Hades and Poseidon flinched. Hazel winced but Percy shook his head.

"I felt distant…it felt weird sometimes, sure. Especially when I just found out and the first few days at camp but that wasn't for that long. I didn't feel 'not claimed'. I felt odd but honestly, it wasn't that dad didn't claim me or anything…Just after the first meeting, it was good for me…It was good enough for me to feel safe enough with him especially as I saw him during the sirens." Percy said with pauses but nodded at the end.

"When it comes to, him not claiming me…well, it means that he didn't acknowledge me or something but that was honestly, never the case." Percy stated. Hazel looked at him and nodded.

Poseidon looked at Percy and pulled him into a hug from behind because Percy's back was to him at the moment.

"Crushing me, dad." Percy choked out. Poseidon gave him a sheepish look and released him.

"I don't feel the non claiming thing anymore." Hazel assured Hades who nodded a little painfully.

"Maybe I should continue?" Castor asked

"Yeah. Go ahead." Thalia nodded. Percy and Hazel nodded as well.

"You asked about the Fifth,"… "How'd you know?"

"He knows everything." Nico whispered theatrically.

"You know nothing, Jon Snow." Thalia smirked at Percy and everybody cracked up at that. Thalia chuckled. She knew Percy knew much more than some people gave him credit for.

Percy shrugged. "Vitellius was talking…mental note not to underestimate Percy again.

Athena, however, still looked a little surprised but nodded.

"You realized that soon." Chris nodded at Hazel.

When he'd first arrived, she'd thought…but clearly he was smarter than he let on

Almost every single person nodded in agreement.

"The thing is that Percy is goofy but he is observant as heck. So he knows much more stuff than the others think he does." Beckendorf said to Hazel.

"Thanks man." Percy smiled.

"You're right," she said…"I don't like lightning," Percy said

"Really now?" Zeus asked Percy

"Really." Percy nodded

"Been shocked too many times by Thalia to love it." Nico agreed and shook his head

"Yeah, well," Hazel said…The prophecy wasn't for him."

"And thus, he should've listened. But nope. He was gonna go and try to defy fate and prophecies." Rachel said and shook her head.

"You just lost faith in humanity, didn't you?" Annabeth grinned at her.

"One of those times." Rachel sighed as she nodded. "Though there is a lot of humanity to still have hope in." she said

"Maybe." Annabeth agreed

"But he went anyway," Percy guessed…"So now everyone thinks we're cursed."

"Kind of reminds me of the curse that the campers believed had come on my cabin." Hephaestus said thoughtfully. Leo and Beckendorf nodded in agreement.

Hazel realized her gumbo was cold…"The kid who's missing?" Percy asked

"Haha." Jason said with a grin. "Yeah, that's me." He said without the grin and a faux shudder. There were a few chuckles.

"Yeah," Frank said. "I never met him. Before my time

"Makes me feel old." Jason chuckled. Frank grinned sheepishly.

But I hear he was a good leader…can turn things around for the Fifth Cohort, huh?"

"If anybody could, it'd be Percy and Jason." Will stated. Nobody disagreed with that.

A horn blew at the end of the hall…"I love this guy

There were a few laughs.

"I love you too, man." Percy said to Frank who grinned at Percy.

Come on, new friend. Let's go chalk up my thirteenth defeat in a row!"

"Nah. You're going to be chalking up your first win." Travis said.

"All right. Lets take a break." Chiron said.

"Chapter's over." Castor stated

"Lets go then, brother." Triton grinned, slinging a hand around Percy's shoulders as the young god grinned.

Hades had an arm slung around Hazel's shoulders as they left while Persephone and Nico were engaged in conversation as they got up.

"Well, we're going to have quite the interesting time when they come back." Hermes said to ones who had to plan the function who nodded slowly.
