It was at that moment that they then heard a bear growl. They turned to look at Frank but he just grinned and gestured to Thalia who just grinned.

"That's my sis!" Percy grinned. Everybody chuckled.

"Food bre-?" Hades started but before he could finish, the house of heroes ran out of the greenhouse forgetting the fact that it was raining and ran to the dining hall while getting drenched. The gods just stared for a moment before they all burst out laughing.

"Well, they certainly were hungry." Hermes chuckled.

"Its good that their appetite's still there." Artemis said

"Uh huh. Should we follow them or just stay here?" Ares asked and then yawned "Because I'm very sleepy." He said

Apollo and Hermes nodded as they yawned as well.

"I'm wide awake." Zeus said

"We're sleep deprived." Apollo, Hermes and Ares groaned.

"That's understandable." Persephone nodded.

"Good night, children." Dionysus smirked as the others left. The three of them flipped him off as they grabbed the blankets and slept.

The house of heroes had gone straight to the dining hall but as it was raining none of them felt like sitting in a closed room and they went to their own locations. Percy grabbed Annabeth's hand and pulled her onto his back to and gave her a piggyback ride all the way to the beach, laughing.

"I feel like its been ages that we've had a date." Percy said with a sigh as the two of them plopped down on the sand.

"We were all busy especially you and the others because of the planning." Annabeth said with a small smile.

"We're here now." Percy smiled as he kissed Annabeth.

"The function was amazing, by the way." Annabeth smiled

"It was a group effort." Percy shrugged causing Annabeth chuckled.

"You know, I couldn't stop staring at you the day you walked down the aisle as the bridesmaid." Percy told her. His eyes reflected the color of the sea as he looked at Annabeth who blushed.

"I couldn't take my eyes of you standing there in that suit either. I hope that someday, I'm not the one who's bridesmaid and you're not the one who's the best man but the one at the altar." She said quickly. Percy chuckled as he watched Annabeth get flustered.

"You mean our wedding." Percy grinned

"You are so not making this easy." Annabeth pouted. Percy chuckled.

"I'm never going to make it easy for you, Wise Girl. Get used to it." He said as he then kissed Annabeth again.

Will and Nico sat next to each other in a cave facing the beach but it was far from where Annabeth and Percy sat and it was at a height so all the saw was the sea and heard the sound of rain. Nico and Will called it their bunker and they had added lights along with some drinks and games and of course speakers there as well.

"It's a different vibe when you're watching the rain with your partner as music plays in the background." Will chuckled.

"And food." Nico said as he at his happy meal. Will laughed.

"And food." He nodded.

"Especially happy meals." Nico grinned. Will grinned back and took some French fries from Nico who pouted at him.

"Mine." He said. Will laughed and grinned and leaned to grab more fries as Nico tried leaning further away and couldn't help but laugh.

"I know you're ticklish." Will said in a sing song voice. Nico dramatically put a hand on his chest.

"He knows my secret!" he groaned dramatically. Will and Nico started laughing and the rain and fresh air made it a memory to last forever.

Hazel and Frank sat in the coffee house. The glass was dripping with rain water and the lights in the coffee house made it better.

"I'm nervous about the reading." Frank admitted

"Why?" Hazel asked

"Our point of views have also started to be read out and I get how Percy feels now. Its like some your thoughts that you had before the reading are coming out, you know? Like my thoughts about the claiming are more descriptively negative than I thought they would be. I couldn't even look at Clarisse and my dad because the thoughts that old me had are not the same that I have." Frank sighed

"I think that's how the fates are trying to help us heal. I think they're trying to make it better by making us and the gods facing the thoughts which at that point were the truth." Hazel said comfortingly.

"That's true." Frank said with a nod.

Meanwhile, Ares was having trouble falling sleep. Hermes and Apollo kept exchanging glances as well. They finally decided to get up and have a talk with their brother.

"Ares." Hermes said. Ares got up and looked at those two.

"What?" he asked

"Are you fine?" Apollo asked

"Yeah, obviously." Ares shrugged "Why won't I be?" he said

"Because of the reading." Hermes stated simply

"We saw your face as we read Frank's thoughts about his claiming and particularly the strong ones. The kid keeps saying that its different now which it is but you're still being affected of what's there in the books." Apollo told Ares seriously who shuffled.

"Its just that it is hard for me to think that I was that bad that Frank hated me as Mars and Clarisse hated me as Ares and for that matter most people did. I guess that's what the reading is reminding me that I wasn't good enough for them. I mean haven't we hated when dad has treated us like that? Then how did I start treating them just like that?" Ares sighed as he ran a hand through his hair in frustration.

"We've all made mistakes and the reading is showing us that we have to be better. By the looks of it, it is getting better and now that our kids are immortal we have time to learn from them and from our mistakes." Hermes sighed "Trust me, I know how you feel. I screwed up big time. I screwed up so bad that my son, my own sons thought that Kronos would be better than me and we're talking about the dude who swallowed his own kids." He said as he looked right at Ares and then sighed.

"Chris came back though." Ares pointed out

"Only after he'd been driven to insanity." Hermes winced as he said that. "Luke didn't even take a moment to think of the fact that I actually might have loved him even when Percy gave him my direct message. That's how bad I messed up. I can't afford that again. Not because of a war but because I feel that I won't be able to take it anymore. None of us can afford that anymore because that's just how much we've changed and that's just how much we've realized the meaning of family." Hermes said

"And its not just us who've realized that. Even the kids have. Even they've learnt from the books and I don't know what they're thinking or what they've thought but we've all changed and we're all trying to change." Apollo said to Ares "Stop thinking that Frank still has the same feelings right now. Yes, learn from them but stop thinking that that's how he feels even now." He said. Ares took a deep breath and rubbed his palms over his face and at last he nodded.

"Thanks guys." Is all he said but Hermes and Apollo knew that their job had been done and the two internally smiled as the three of them finally decided to sleep.

The others didn't try to even wake them up till it was time for coffee and snacks. They'd all brought their coffee into the cabin itself and Aphrodite had grabbed the book as she started reading.
