Long after The Monkey King was born from a stone, that stone was used to create another. But no creature was born from it, they were carved. Many creatures were carved, but only one was given proper life. But what would happen if a drifting soul was reborn into one of the lifeless carved beings? A miracle. One that defies all logic. But such miracles often carry consequences.

Have you ever experienced hopelessness against the inevitable? Experienced knowing that no matter what anyone does, it won't make a difference?

A sickly girl in a hospital felt that every day of her life. Born with a body that won't make it to its teens, she was always aware of her quick and inevitable end. Everyone was.

Her family all tried, but quickly gave up hope. They decided to leave her alone for most of her years to spare themselves the pain.

And so, on the day she turned 12 the girl perished in the hospital. Her illness had won. But fate didn't let this be the end of the girl. Because somewhere else, a stone bear fell to the ground.

A few moments after her death, the girl opened her eyes to see a field of animals made of stone and a familiar lady holding a small monkey carved from stone in her hands.

The girl knew that lady. She was from her favorite show. But why was she seeing this and why did everything look real despite looking exactly like the show?

She checked her body. Her arms. They were Lego like in the show. And she could FEEL them. She could FEEL herself breathing. She was ALIVE.

She couldn't contain her happiness. She was alive again. She knew that lady made MK. She wanted to thank that lady for putting her back together.

But before she could speak, she felt a pang of immense pain in her chest as part of her body turned to stone. She couldn't even gather air as her organs became stone.

She tried to reaching for the lady for help, but she was completely focused on the stone monkey in her hands as she infused him with some kind of energy.

But fortune seemed to be on her side. The lady's powers released a shock that knocked the girl far far away into the mortal realm.

There, the girl's tiny body writhed around in the dirt as more parts of her body turned to stone with each failed breath.

Her vision got blurry as her hands dug into the dirt. She begged and prayed for anything or anyone to save her. And someone appeared.

The girl didn't know who or what it was, but her new body saw something abnormal. A figure made of energy that looked oddly like soil that was pouring out from a core inside the figure.

The girl desperately pulled her dying body towards the figure as most of her body became stone. She tried to speak to the figure and so she opened her mouth, but something else happened.

She sucked in some of the figure's energy. That small portion slightly reversed her petrification. And feeling this, she absorbed some more. And more. And more. Until there was no more to absorb. She didn't absorb the core as it was both too difficult for the current her and possibly rude to her savior.

Once she was done, calmed down and was no longer stone, the girl began to see everything normal again. As normal as this new reality was to be exact. She turned to the figure who saved her and saw none other than...

The local Tudi.

He looked scared and tried to dig away, but failed miserably. Almost as if his powers were drained and needed to be refilled.

The girl quickly realized what she had done. She inspected at her hands and her new body which was mostly covered in dirt. They were that of a child. She also had long messy black hair the same color as MK's.

She felt no regret for what she did to the Tudi. She had nothing to regret. She lived, he'll live, she did nothing wrong. There were worse monsters than someone stealing chi to survive.

She thought about the situation and realized she would have to continue stealing chi for the rest of her new life. She could feel the chi in her body slowly being used up.

But she didn't feel discouraged. Instead she grinned with a determined expression. Before, there was no chance for her to survive, everyone gave up on her even herself. But this time, she could live. And she will. Because she had something she could've never dreamed of having before

Hope.

A long long time later inside the spider queen's lair.

A girl with messy black hair wearing a sleeveless black top under a dark blue jacket as well as black leggings and white sneakers walked nonchalantly through the lair of the spider queen. She saw the webs, she knew what was here. It's what she wanted to find.

Suddenly, webs flew at the girl at high speed. The girl didn't flinch or dodge. She simply allowed the webs to hit her before they decayed off her body.

"Is that it?" Asked the girl with a grin. "Guess I shouldn't have expected much from a little princess."

Suddenly, a spider like figure approached the girl with an angry smile.

"Oh and who might you be?" Asked the spider queen angrily.

The girl chuckled. "Well, I heard tales of a pitiful spider demon princess who failed so miserably at scaring anyone." She replied mockingly with a grin. "So I decided to come and make fun of the sad thing, but this is too sad even for me."

The spider queen's forehead popped a vein before the demoness dashed towards the girl with clear hostility. And all the girl did was smile as she blocked a stab from one of the spider queen's legs with her bare forearm.

"That's a yikes from me." Said the girl calmly before opening her mouth and absorbing the spider queen's chi. "I could've dodged that easily, but that's like dodging a stab from a butter knife."

The spider queen glared at the girl angrily, not noticing that her power was gone before trying to punch the girl only for it to do nothing at all.

"Cute." Said the girl before disappearing and reappearing behind the spider queen and driving her head into the ground with her hand. "But boring."

The spider queen panicked, thinking she was going to die before the girl simply let her go and started leaving.

"Y-you're leaving?" Asked the spider queen in confusion.

"Aww, you want me to stay?" Asked the girl teasingly. "Sorry, but I don't have any feelings for you. Bye!"

And with that, the girl disappeared just as she had appeared leaving the spider queen furious at the humiliation she just faced.

If anyone's wondering: YES, she's MK's biological older sister and she's VERY aware of it. I've noticed that a lot of animals were carved from Monkey King's stone, she's one of them. Specifically, the bear that falls to the ground.

She also has a job and didn't just steal her current clothes.

Also, just to clarify her powers.

She can absorb the chi of her enemies even during a fight and it is immediately turned into her own chi for her own set of powers. Also, by absorbing chi she can permanently learn the techniques and instincts of her victims. This is to explain how a terminally ill preteen got so good at fighting without a master.

Also, she CAN'T use the powers of the stolen chi. It's merely fuel that runs out. If she absorbs MK's chi, she doesn't get golden eyes of truth or any of his other powers.

I still haven't decided on the color theme of her powers, but I'm considering purple or silver. That goes the same for her name. Some ideas I got are Stone Bear or Lady Stone Bear or Stone Bear Girl but let me know what you think of if you have a better name or color for her powers.

Tell me if I should continue this.

Toodles.
