"What the-" Katie said in surprise

"Well looks like grass has turned into kidnappers." Percy said with a small chuckle.

She felt as if she were trapped…grass blades weren't adoring fans.

"Violent crowd surfing." Leo said with a nod

She couldn't sit up…for her friends to find her

"That's problematic because I don't think that the grass would carry them too." Katie said with a frown.

"I don't know why but this is very amusing to me." Clarisse said with a small smile

"Well, never heard of anybody being kidnapped by grass." Hazel sighed. Suddenly Nico burst out laughing and everybody turned to look at him.

"I'm sorry, I just got the mental image of dad getting a call from the leader of grass that 'we have your daughter. You must pay us grains' and he's just so damn confused." Nico snickered. Everybody laughed this time especially as Nico imitated a very high voice for the grass.

"He'd probably end up going to Demeter and asking her for grains and her just checking if he has fever." Percy added. Hades huffed and so did Demeter.

She closed her eyes and tried…and came up standing.

"Jesus-" Travis said in amazement. The gods looked amused and the kids just snickered.

She unslung her bedroll…Big pile of schist!"

This time there were a few people rolling on the floor in laughter.

"They need to mind their language." Demeter chided.

"That's bad language?!" Nico asked in surprise and amusement with a raised eyebrow.

"Don't get me started, young man." Demeter told him.

"What the fuck?" Nico said. Demeter gave a pointed glare to Hades.

"Hey! My child is fine." He said

"Your child is currently speaking and swearing in 5 different languages." Demeter deadpanned and this just caused the laughter to increase even more.

A nun at St. Agnes Academy…sure how to respond.

"Ah that must be Demeter in disguise." Nico smirked.

"Funny." Demeter sighed

"But also, young cousin, if your vocabulary is limited to schist then we need to educate you." Percy leaned behind Poseidon's back to tell Hazel.

"Oh no, I've been staying with you guys for long enough for my vocabulary to be beyond the dictionary." Hazel chuckled. Hades looked at Percy from behind Hazel and Poseidon's backs and his nephew grinned sheepishly.

"I would really like to sit back so I would appreciate if this could take place in front." Poseidon added. Percy grinned at him.

Then, all around her rock island…chubby little Cupid babies.

Aphrodite grimaced. "Eros isn't going to like that comparison." She said

"Not all karpoi are bad." Apollo shrugged

As they stepped closer…afraid his loincloth might fall off.

Everybody groaned loudly and dramatically.

"I did not need that mental image!" Leo groaned, covering his head with his hands and then shaking his head vigorously that everybody was afraid that it was going to fall off but they understood the sentiment.

"Hate this schist!"… "Or sorghum!" "Or barley!"

"I have to say that I agree with them." Demeter stated, looking at Hades who rolled his eyes at her.

The others chimed in…you in the yellow, um, britches."

Everybody snickered.

"Should've removed the r." Thalia grinned

"Let at least one of my children be relatively innocent." Hades requested

"Ouch!" Nico said dramatically and flourishing a hand to his chest. "I get that from you!" he added.

"Not complaining." Hades smirked.

"Hmmmm," said Wheat…we will grow wild, yes!"

"This time your own cultivations want to end you just like my dear younger brother's own fire breathing horses wanted to eat him." Hades grinned at Demeter.

"Hey!" Poseidon protested. Hades smirked at him and Zeus was laughing in the background. Demeter scowled at Hades.

"Well, naturally," Hazel said…find the lair of Alcyoneus."

"Oh come on! Why can't they just be dumb for a minute?" Rachel groaned.

"I already know where it is,"… I am the daughter of Pluto!"

"Dramatic but I like it." Nico said with a sly grin while rubbing his palms.

The karpoi advanced…dissolved into pieces of Chex Mix.

"Good job." Ares smiled at Frank who grinned back at him. Frank was liking how much progress he and Clarisse were making with Ares but he didn't get how that conversation came out of nowhere because he'd thought that they'd had that conversation before but if the doubt was still there then he and Clarisse would clarify it.

"Chapter's done." Chiron informed

"I'll read." Amphitrite said.
