Synopsis
The 30 episode series is about how a family comes together in the most unusual of ways. It begins with a brief description of the two make shift parents and their background stories that brought them together.
Song Hao Yu is the single father of a young boy named Song Xing Chen AKA Chen Chen. He is also the work-obsessed CEO of a successful and affluent Molin Company. He struggles with the pressure of being a single father, and often feels he is hopelessly out of his depth when it comes to all things childcare-related. In later episodes we learn that Song Hao Yu is the identical twin brother of Song Xing Chen 's deceased father.
Meanwhile, Qi Si Le is the single mother of a girl named Qi Zi Xuan AKA Xuan Xuan. As her daughter urgently needs money to pay for a potentially life-saving brain tumor removal operation, Qi Si Le has become anxious. But her positivity serves her well, and her optimistic outlook means she has not lost hope.
One day, the two single parents' paths cross when Song Hao Yu is looking for a birthday gift for Chen Chen their misunderstandings of each other begins. Chen Chen accuses Qi Si Le taking the broach that he just lost. Hao Yu compounds the problem by threatening police action. Qi Si Le takes offense and claims the broach is a family heirloom . Their paths continue to cross as both children attend the same kindergarten. Si Le shows her parenting skills while Hao Yu doesn't.
Song Hao Yu's firm has the power to grant her own company a lucrative contract – which could help her pay for the surgery. She tries to convince Song Hao Yu to ensure her firm lands the contract. However Song Hao Yu has other plans … knowing that the children were born on the same day and their resemblance is striking … senses an opportunity to bring the twins back to the Song family fold while also keeping the promise he made to Chen Chen that he would meet his mother by his fifth birthday.
He feels that Qi Si Le is a competent parent, and could help him bring up Chen Chen. He proposes a "marriage of convenience" whereby he will pay for all of Xuan Xuan medical expenses and bring in the top doctor to remove the brain tumor while Si Leaguers to be the loving wife and mother. Once Si Le begins to open her heart to him he shows his true cold self that was hurt by a former ex finance.
The writers made the series interesting by subjecting both Si Le and Hao Yu to relationship crisis and how they come together when events of the past pulls them apart.
Episode 30 was somewhat of a let down since the writers lost their stem and their luster in bringing this story to a rightful conclusion. Story lines that where introduced but not delved into.
Si Le's pregnancy and the impacted on Chen Chen and Xuan Xuan while just learning to be a wife and lover to Hao Yu.
Hao Jun and Li Xin finaly getting their marriage license … how will they navigate marriage when they barely understood being boyfriend… girlfriend
It was hinted that Tong Luo Qi though the free spirit successful career woman was spending more time with He Qing…. Hao Yu loyal and trusted assistant.
Chen Chen and Xuan Xuan gave the adult character a run for their money when it came to scene stealing …. The two 5 year olds were the stars of this series…. How will they react getting new siblings coming into their sphere ?

Episode 31 begins with the final words of Hao Yu and Si Le at the end of episode 30
Hao Yo : Because you came late into my life….. I use to think life nothing more than what it already was for me.
Si Le: Turning back to see every step of the past, it turns out it was all for meeting you.
Hao Yu: You became my weakness and made me worry about gains and losses.
Si Le : You became my armor and made me no longer afraid of dependence.
Hao Yu: Si Le… I still have a lot of things to tell you…where should I start?
Si Le : Life is long…. You tell me slowly…. I'll slowly listen…..They kiss passionately and the series ends…. But does it?
Hao Yu: Si Le now that were officially reconciled and I gave you that very official proposal and we have those great wedding photos …. Can I please move back in our bedroom?… I miss being with you… making love to you is my greatest pleasure and biggest weakness.
Si Le Smiles: You love me that much… but we don't want to offend Grandpa…. Why does he not want us to sleep together…. We are married.

Hao Yu: I'll tell Hao Jun that this is one more thing he needs to do to get Li Xin to want him more…. He's no different than I am… he wants to make love to Xin as soon as possible.

Si Le: Hao Yu… we just went through that financial crisis with the company…. Should we be spending this kind of money?
Hao Yu: This is long over do….. we didn't go on a honeymoon when we first got married….. which was my fault… now that we are a husband wife that love each other … this is the very least I can do….. I love you so much

Scene shifts to the Pediatricians office
Pediatrician: before we get started I need to ask you a few questions…. Is this your first pregnancy?
Si Le: Yes , but we do have a set of twins…. they are 5 years old
Hao Yu: my deceased twin brother was their biological father
Pediatrician: So twins run in your family
Hao Yu: Yes… we were identical twins…
Si Le: My sister was their biological mother she is also deceased….. but the kids sees us as their mommy and daddy.
Pediatrician: you two need to be commended... twins at a young age are not easy to care for….. have you had any symptoms that have caused you concern?
Hao Yu: She did faint … that's how we found out she was pregnant
Si Le: I was under a lot of stress….. but from here on out I will take better care of myself

Pediatrician moves the sensor and points out the two peanut size dark spots in Si Le's womb.
Pediatrician: Mr Song….. since you're a twin … the likely hood of you also conceiving twins greatly increased…. Congratulations …. In 7 months you two will be the parents of twins.
Si Le: six months ago I was a struggling single mother worrying about how to get my daughters surgery…. Now I'm a mother of four ….. with two sets of twins.
Hao Yu: I'll hire additional nannies… don't you worry about anything… Si Le … I love you
Pediatrician: Your husband is on the right track…. Don't try to do everything yourself and take whatever help you can get…. Twins are hard enough by themselves, but with two sets you both have your work cut out…. Congratulations… During the first and second trimester I will see you every month….. once we get to the third trimester I will see you every two weeks. Follow the suggested diet and exercise and everything should go smoothly… If however any complications arise contact me immediately.
On the way back to the mansion a very happy but also very worried Si Le voices her concern
Si Le: Why can't anything be simple with you… You marry me out of the blue… you let your ex finance almost ruin us… but your not completely to blame… I did let Qin Tian get a hold of my insecurities … Hao Yu ….. are we ready for this?
Hao Yu: everything we've been through has made us stronger and our love for each other even more unbreakable…. Yes we can do it… We are in this together … our family has grown hasn't it?
Si Le: just promise me you will never hold back on things I need to know…. You saw how I hate surprises.
Hao Yu: I promise…. But you really do like this surprise don't you?
Si Le: My heart hasn't stopped pumping since I heard those two heart beats… this is going to be quite a life journey with you… how do you think the kids will react?
With the news of the new twins…. The Song household is abuzz while Xuan Xuan and Chen Chen find themselves wondering what will happen to them…. Si Le happens to hear the twins conversation
Xuan Xuan: Big brother….. now that mommy and daddy are having their own twins … what will happen to us?…. Uncle Qin Tian said our real mommy was sent back to the orphanage once mommy was born…. I didn't like that place…She begins to cry uncontrollably
Chen Chen : Don't cry …I'm your big brother….I will protect us
Si Le's heart breaks in two… with tears streaming from her eyes she calls Hao Yu

Si Le sobbing and trying to get her composure: Hao Yu … what have we done… our babies have made our kids very sad and worried.
Hao Yu: I'm not understanding…. Why are Chen Chen and Xuan Xuan sad?
Si Le: ever since Qin Tian took them and told them about the orphanage…. This has remained in Xuan Xuan mind…. She's thinking we are going to send them away because now we have our own twins….. Chen Chen told her he would always protect her… we need to do something I never want to see my kids this sad again.
Hao Yu: That Jerk….we'll think of something… please stop crying …. You can't make our babies sad either.

Hao Yu calls a child psychiatrist and explains the situation and asks what can they do to remove this fear that they've formed
Psychiatrist: Your children need to be reassured of your love and attention…. From what you've told me your older twins went from a one on one situation where now they are having to share that love and attention.
Hao Yu: What do we need to do? … Xuan Xuan comes to me since she never had a father figure…. Chen Chen goes to Si Le since he's been all ways wanting a mother.
Psychiatrist: though they are both young….. they've been showing you their needs and wants… the new babies are a threat to them emotionally… Both you and your wife will need to assure them that they are just as important to you as the new babies…. More family time together… you can't brush them off and leave them to their own thoughts…. Kids are kids ….. they constantly need to be assured of their parents love.
Scene shits to Hao Jun and Li Xin…. With marriage certificate in hand Hao Jun only has one thing on his mind.
Hao Jun: I'm your legal husband…. Why can't we share our husband and wife rights… do you know how I've waited for this…. Every since I first met you you've been teasing me. As soon as I think you want me as much as I want you you take it away….. Li Xin…. Are you my wife or not?
Li Xin: It isn't that I don't want to… I'm scared that once we do ….. you'll walk away since you got what you wanted… I spent 10 years waiting for that jerk to explain to me why he left me after I agreed to marry him .

Hao Jun: mommy was telling me that you both have been sad lately… As your mommy and daddy we never want to see any of our children sad especially our first children. You know you two are very special… how many children get to choose who they want as their mommy and daddy…. Xuan Xuan…. The day you called me daddy was the happiest day of my life….. you wanted me as your daddy… now you are my daughter forever and ever just like in the fairy tales….. Chen Chen … you wanted mommy to be your mommy from the first moment you saw her….. right… Chen Chen smiles and turns and gives Si Le a kiss: You will always be my mommy.
Si Le with tears of joy: you are my son … both of you are our children… don't ever think your not….. you're both these two babies older brother and sister… they will need you to help them as they grow… as your mommy and daddy we love all of our children the same.
Xuan Xuan: Mommy ….. why did uncle Qin Tin say that to us?
Hao Jun:Just like in the fairy tales…. He was like the evil witch that didn't like little girls and boys to be happy… when he saw how happy both of you were with your own mommy and daddy he got jealous and became mean
Chen Chen: Little sister … I told you he was mean and we shouldn't listen to him… mommy and daddy love us and we love them
Xuan Xuan smiles and looks to Hao Jun: I love you daddy
Hao Jun also with tears in his eyes: How about we have a family day…. Who wants to go to the amusement park?
Chen Chen: can we drive the bumper cars
Si Le: You can be my driver…. Chen Chen has the biggest smile on his face
Si Le looks to Hao Jun with a smile on her face as she mouths the words to him: I love you... Thank you!
