Planet Mobius, a seemingly average planet far from the Milky Way Galaxy. However this was no ordinary planet, it was one home to many amazing creatures, one such creature was the fastest among them all.

This is the home world of one of the Universe's finest heroes, and one of its most speedy heroes too, that being Sonic the Hedgehog. Like many he started out with humble origins, or as humble as they can get.

Sonic was born to Aleena, a noble who resided as part of Mobius's grand council, alongside King Maximillian Acorn.

Even at a young age, Sonic enjoyed speed, such as the adrenaline rush of the wind against his face, always running around and getting into mishaps, becoming quickly known as The Blue Blur.

He was not alone, he had his share of friends, including a young girl rabbit girl named Bunnie, a coyote named Antoine, a walrus named Rotor, and his best friend, a young chipmunk girl, and the daughter of the King. That girl being Princess Sally Acorn.

Sonic and Sally spent a lot of time together, for the most part. A lot of the time he usually ended up ditching her to run, and when he wasn't doing that, he was gorging down chili dogs, despite Sally's annoyance at it.

However, darkness loomed over this world, for it was on the brink of full enslavement. The sinister villain Doctor Ivo Robotnik had begun his takeover of the planet, capturing Mobians to turn into robots while many went to flee into hiding.

Sonic's mother had gone missing, alongside Sally's parents, forcing the two to remain in Knothole and preparing to take back Mobius.

Despite being only fifteen, Sonic was a very daring and brave little hedgehog. He would constantly go out on missions to liberate the planet, trashing every Swat Bot that he could, much to the frustration of one Sally Acorn.

One night, he came back from one of his impromptu missions, munching on a chili dog after a job well done. "Another Factory Toasted, score one for the amazing Sonic, Mobius's fastest creature in existence."

"Sonic the Hedgehog!" came the voice of a young Sally Acorn.

"Oh hey Sal, what's poppin'?" Sonic asked.

"What's 'poppin'?" Sally sarcastically responded, feeling very much annoyed. "You know you're not supposed to be running off on your own like this! You need to have a team of us with you."

"Hey, the way I see it, I'm a one hog team, Sal," Sonic said.

Sally frustratingly rubbed her temples, the ego of this boy far outstretched even the Knothole residence. "Sonic, I know you're fast and not easy to capture. But that doesn't mean you're invincible. One day even Robotnik will see you coming."

"Yeah, and maybe it will rain jelly donuts from the sky too," Sonic boasted. "There's no way old geezer would come close to nabbing me, I'm just too good."

"Sonic, please..." Sally said, placing her hand on his shoulder. "I'm just looking out for you. I wouldn't know what to do if you got hurt...or worse."

Sonic began to pity his friend. Much as he liked to mess with her, he would never intentionally want to cause worry for her. "Hey, come on Sal, have you seen me? I'm a total die hard."

"What does that even mean?" Sally asked.

"It means it would take a near miracle for Ro-butt-nik to get one over on me," Sonic said. "I got the juice."

"Just...make sure you always come back to me Sonic," Sally said, the girl feeling a bit vulnerable. "I've lost so much in my life, I don't want you to be among that too."

"Hey, come on Sal, don't get all sappy on me," Sonic said, then felt this stomach rumbling. "Come on, I'm hungry."

"Of course you are, enjoy your lunch, we have a mission later tonight," Sally said. "We're going to take down another one of Robotnik's factories."

"I'm always down for that," Sonic said, speeding off to the nearest chili dog stand.

That night, Sally's mission went as planned, with Sonic being a decoy, she sent a couple of agents into Robotnik's factory, with their help, they were able to shut it down, but at a cost. The two agents were captured by Robotnik's forces and turned into robots, a fate shared by so many prior.

Sally felt distressed, as the leader, it's her duty to make sure everyone comes back home, but this time, it was not meant to be. Bunnie also lamented the situation, feeling sympathy for those who were captured, she too knowing just how bad the roboticizer was.

Sonic was much more vocally distressed by what had happened, "One of these days Ro-butt-nik! You're going down man! You're going way down!"

The following day, Sally was seen pacing in her room, lamenting the loss of her two agents, "This is all my fault, I should have spent more time on the plan." She looked over a virtual map of the area she was at the previous night. "I should have posted more guards in more locations."

"You can't cover everything Sally," their dragon friend Dulcy said. "Robotnik is too crafty."

"That's no excuse, the plan was just no good," Sally said, turning the machine off.

"Hey don't be so hard on yourself," Sonic said. "If we had taken down Ro-butt-nik a long time ago, before he took over, then none of this junk would have happened!"

"Sonic, we were only five," Sally said.

"We were past way cool at five," Sonic said. "You know, I bet if I wanted to, I can run really fast and turn time back."

"Sonic, you're fast but you've never trained to reach potential like that," Sally said.

"Yeah, kind of hard when you got nowhere to really go," Sonic said. "Unless we go off world."

"We don't have any rockets," Sally said. "No way to survive."

"Wasn't there one planet we had contact with briefly or something?" Sonic asked. "Think it was called 'Earth'."

"Earth? I read that in a file once but, I never got the full story," Sally said. "It's too risky to move planets anyway. Dangerous as Robotnik is, he's not the only threat out there."

"There's gotta be a way," Sonic said.

"You can use the Time Stones," Dulcy suggested.

"The what now?" Sonic asked.

"The Time Stones, they help you travel through time," Dulcy said.

"Those are a myth though, "Sally said.

"No, they're on a Floating Island," Dulcy said, gesturing to her head. "I bumped into it once."

"Floating Island?" Sally asked. "The only floating Island that I know of is Angel Island, and the only thing there is an old temple guarded by the last Echidna."

"I met that guy a few times before, what a pain in the neck," Sonic said.

"He's not a pain Sonic, it's just that Knuckles has a hard time trusting people," Sally said. "But, maybe he can help us anyway, if we ask him nicely enough. I highly doubt those Time Stones actually exist but maybe he has another way he can help us."

"Eh, I don't know if I wanna hang around that guy," Sonic said.

"You don't have to come, I'll go see him myself," Sally said.

"No way, I can't let you go out there by yourself, you'd be an easy target if Ro-butt-nik shows up," Sonic said.

"I wouldn't be alone, Dulcy's taking me," Sally said.

"I am?" Dulcy asked.

"It's a floating island, how else am I gonna reach it?" Sally pointed out. "Besides, Sonic, I'm not that helpless alone, I can take care of myself."

"Sorry, but I ain't taking no chances," Sonic said. "I'm going too."

"Fine by me, just promise you two won't fight too much," Sally said.

"No promises," Sonic said.

"Sonic!" Sally scolded.

Moments later, Dulcy was flying the two through the skies, trying to find the floating island the dragon girl mentioned.

"Hey, any of you get the feeling that something's following us?" Sonic asked.

"You're imagining it," Sally said, looking ahead of the horizon. "Dulcy, any info?"

"We're almost there!" Dulcy said.

"You've said that twenty times already though," Sally said.

"But we are, I can see it too!" Dulcy said.

"You also said that twenty times," Sally said, Sonic snickering to himself.

"So sue me it's twenty-one," Dulcy said, flying in hard, trying to avoid the lightning storm.

"How do you see anything through this storm anyway?" Sonic asked.

"Simple, radar eyes," Dulcy said, though a giant bolt of lightning led to some disorientation that sent everyone crashing down onto an island.

"Wow, nice landing Dulce," Sonic teased. "So, is this the place?"

"What's going on down there!?" came a voice from nearby. Coming into view was the Guardian of the Master Emerald, Knuckles the Echidna.

"Knuckles!" Sally greeted.

"Princess Sally?" Knuckles asked, making his way to the chipmunk girl. "What are you doing here?" He then noticed Sonic dusting himself off. "Ugh, and why'd you bring that one?"

"Just as crummy to see you too, Knucklehead," Sonic mocked.

"What was that!?" Knuckles shouted, readying his fists.

"Please, don't fight," Sally said. "Knuckles, we just needed you to clear something up for us. Have you heard of the Time Travel stones?"

"Time Travel stones?" Knuckles asked. "Uh, no, pretty sure those aren't real."

"Are you serious!?" Sonic shouted in annoyance. "Great, that means we came here for nothing then."

"Hey if you don't like it here, then take a hike," Knuckles said.

"How's about I knock you off this island!" Sonic shouted.

"I'd like to see you try!" Knuckles threatened.

"ENOUGH!" Sally scolded, getting increasingly frustrated. "Sonic, I told you not to argue."

"And I said, 'no promises'," Sonic said. "Besides he's starting it."

"Annoying speedster," Knuckles lamented. "Anyway Princess, like I said, those stones don't exist."

"I thought they weren't," Sally said. "I mean, Time Travel violates all laws of physics, no way it can be done."

"Actually, that's not entirely true," Knuckles said, surprising everyone present. "Whatever Time Travel rumors you might have heard may have some truth to them, at least in theory."

"Ha, I knew it!" Dulcy said.

"What are you getting at, Knux?" Sonic asked.

"Meet me at the top, and mind your surroundings too, this area is thousands of years old," Knuckles said.

"Yeah, yeah," Sonic said, heading up the stairs as Sally shook her head in annoyance.

"Would it be too much trouble for him to be less of a smart mouth?" Sally lamented.

Knuckles introduced the trio to the very object he spends his life guarding and watching over, "This is the Master Emerald, a stone of legendary power. It is said to stabilize the power of the mythic Chaos Emeralds."

"The Chaos Emeralds?" Sally asked. "I heard about them from my father once, he said they're highly dangerous, just being around them can be hazardous to your wellbeing."

"Well they are dangerous in the wrong hands, but not as dangerous as myth has you believe," Knuckles said. "Chaos is Power Enriched by the heart, at least that's what I heard once, a long time ago."

"Cute, but what does it mean?" Sonic asked.

"It means that power is what you make of it," Knuckles said. "If your true desire to use the Chaos for evil, then that's what it will become. But if you intend to use it for good, then they become a force for good."

"So, does that include Time Travel then? Since that's the whole reason we're here," Sonic said.

Knuckles sighed in irritation, "Theoretically, yes, Time Travel is possible, just not a guarantee."

"Hold on, what makes you think it's possible at all?" Sonic asked.

"It's hard to explain, but sometimes when I'm near The Master Emerald, I see visions of the past, visions of an older civilization," Knuckles said. "Usually that of a young girl, trying to warn me about something. I never understood the message though."

"Uh, you sure you weren't dreaming there, Knux?" Sonic said.

"I don't expect you to understand, honestly I don't expect any of you to believe me," Knuckles said. "But I figured it'd be better to leave you with something."

"So we should use the Chaos Emeralds to help with the Time Travel then..." Sally said. "Problem is finding them. Is there a way to do so?"

"Not easily I'm afraid," Knuckles said. "But, maybe you don't need the emeralds, the Master Emerald could be all the power you need."

"Sweet, let's get to it," Sonic said, about to go near the jewel, but Knuckles stood in his path.

"Hold on a second! I'm not gonna just let you near the Master Emerald," Knuckles said.

"You just said to use the dang thing! Make up your mind you nimrod!" Sonic said.

"What was that!?" Knuckles held up his fist.

"Boys, please, can you settle this another time," Sally said. "Knuckles, we need that emerald's power to go back in time to stop Robotnik from taking over the world."

"Stopping Robotnik?" Knuckles said, rubbing his chin. "Well, that would be good for the planet. Since he took over, the pollution took a toll on all the scenery. There used to be a nice garden below here, and my Sanctuary was thriving with plant life. I even miss the taste of the grapes that grew there."

"Now we're talking about grapes?" Sonic sassed, earning a glare from Sally.

"Can it!" Sally turned back to Knuckles. "I know this plan is risky, I'm not too sure about it myself but, I want to be optimistic for once, especially if I can fix all this damage. Robotnik's gotten so much worse over the years, and I've lost so many good soldiers. I just need to see if this would work."

"Well, I suppose I could bend the rules for you Sally," Knuckles said. "You and your family have always done a good service to this planet, so I guess I can trust you. But be absolutely careful, if I feel like this could cause an imbalance or risk the security of not only the Master Emerald but also The Chaos Emeralds, I'm putting a stop to this. You get one chance to pull this off."

"That's all we need," Sally said.

Just as they were about to check on the Emerald, suddenly some metallic creatures had shown up, alongside Swat-Bots dropping from the sky off a ship.

"Robotnik? But how!?" Sally asked.

Suddenly Robotnik himself had emerged from the ship, the evil dictator grinning down at the others. "Ah, Princess. Thank you so much for leading me to the Master Emerald."

"You were followed!?" Knuckles asked.

"I knew someone had their eye on us!" Sonic said.

"Knuckles, I'm so sorry, I didn't anticipate this!" Sally said, the girl once again grieving. "I can't believe I made this mistake again!"

"Don't sweat it Sal, let me handle this," Sonic said, revving up. "You guys are scrap!"

Sonic used his speed to take out several of the Swat-Bots in an instant as Knuckles rushed in to take a bunch out himself with his punches.

Dulcy used her ice breath to freeze the air machines, though a few got past her and were swarming around like flies. "Ugh, I hate when this happens!"

Sally leapt on a robot's head, breaking in and rewiring its circuits to shoot at the other robots.

As this was going on, Robotnik made his way up to the Master Emerald, his sidekick Snively right behind him.

"There it is Snivley," Robotnik got closer. "The ultimate source of power."

"Just as I suspected sir, with this you should be able to power a whole fleet to Swat-Bots at once worldwide, and have all the resources you need to find Knothole," Snivley said.

"Come to papa," Robotnik said, though just as he got close Sonic and Knuckles blocked his path.

"That's far enough, Ro-Butt-nik!" Sonic said.

"Always in my way, aren't you hedgehog?" Robotnik said, summoning more robots. "Just as I suspected. While I'd like to destroy you, I must admit, having power like yours could be handy. Have you considered your life as Metal?"

"Me? A Metal Sonic? Fat chance," Sonic said. "This Master Emerald is our ticket to stopping you, and I am not giving that up."

"Seems like we both want it then, fine by me, I like a challenge," Robotnik said. "Robots, attack!"

As the robots closed in, Sonic leapt on top of the Master Emerald, "You want me? Come and get me!"

"Don't antagonize them you fool!" Knuckles shouted. "You're going to endanger my emerald!"

"I got it under control, Knuxy boy," Sonic said. "You need to not worry about the little things so much."

"Little!?" Knuckles shouted.

"My, my, seems like your hedgehog friend doesn't respect your belongings, now does he?" Robotnik said.

"He's no friend of mine, just a nuisance," Knuckles said.

"Hm, funny, I think he's a nuisance too," Robotnik said. "Why side with him? Clearly he just wants the Emerald for his own selfish desires. Me, I want to use this emerald for...World Unity, doesn't that sounds nice?"

"Hey don't listen to him! He's just trying to play us against each other!" Sonic warned. "He's a deceiving rat! He'd sooner throw you into the mouth of a volcano rather than want to be your friend."

"Oh, can you say you want to be his friend, Hedgehog?" Robotnik asked.

"Don't try that mind game stuff with me, pal," Sonic warned. "Get any closer and I'll thrash ya!"

"I'd like to see you try," Robotnik taunted.

"You know I can, after everything you did to my uncle Chuck, the only family I have, you bet I want to thrash you!" Sonic warned.

"Hm, you know, I don't think we ever talked about what happened to your mother," Robotnik said.

Sonic's eyes widened in surprise, "My mother? What are you talking about? She...she's gone, long before you took over."

"Is she, Hedgehog? Is she really?" Robotnik asked.

"Ro-butt-nik, I'm warning you, man. You do not want to cross a line with me," Sonic said, this being the coldest Robotnik's heard Sonic speak.

"I must say, I kind of admire this side of you, that cold look in your eyes matched with the venom in your voice," Robotnik said. "Go on Hedgehog, give into the anger, see what it does for you."

"Sonic wait!" Sally called, fighting past some robots. "Don't listen to him, he's trying to-AH!"

One robot grabbed her, to Sonic's concern, "Sally!"

"Put me down!" Sally ordered.

"I'll save you Sally!" Knuckles went to help but one of the Swat-Bots tackled him down, Robotnik once again giving orders.

"Destroy that Princess! Let that be one less obstacle in my way!" Robotnik said.

"SALLY!" As Sonic called to his friend, the Emerald below him started to glow, much to his surprise. Suddenly electric sparks surrounded his body, much to Robotnik's surprise.

"What is this!?" Robotnik wondered. "Someone, destroy that hedgehog!"

In the blink of an eye, Sonic sped past Robotnik, Snivley and all the Swat-Bots to save Sally, the two falling from the island but not without Sonic losing speed as he continued to run the moment he reached the ground.

"I'll get that hedgehog!" Robotnik shouted, then remembered one thing. "The Emerald, the fool left it alone." He sinisterly turned to it. "It's all mine."

Knuckles punched a Swat-Bot away, "Not if I can help it!"

"Very well, if it's a fight you want," Robotnik summoned more. "It's a fight you will get!"

Meanwhile Sonic was running fast along the ground, traveling past everyone and everything, the hedgehog holding Sally in his arms.

"You alright Sal?" Sonic asked.

"I'm fine...thank you," Sally said. "But, what's happening?"

As Sonic ran, he heard a voice in his head, "You who have unleashed the power of Chaos, you can use such power to create a better world."

"Power of chaos? Wait, what or how is this happening?" Sonic asked. "How is this even happening?"

"Chaos is Power, and Power is enriched by the Heart," the voice said. "The controller is the one that unifies the chaos."

"This isn't making sense!" Sonic said as he continued to run, passing by some palm trees.

One such who witnessed this speed was a young hedgehog girl with a green shirt, orange skirt and red headband.

"Alright Tarot Cards, bring me something special," the girl said. "Today is the day that Amy Rose gets to-" Suddenly Sonic whizzed past her, the girl catching his eyes, even if only briefly. "What in the world?"

"The heart is what powers love, it is love that will help you," the voice said. "It will always help you."

"Sonic, I don't know what's happening, but I think this plan might be working," Sally said.

"I hope so, Sal!" Sonic said, as he went through a warp.

"The present cannot be altered, but a better future can still be made," the voice said as wind blew near the young Amy Rose, a card landing on her foot. "A future powered by love."

Amy knelt down to pick the card up, seeing the symbol for love as she looked to the distance, "That was so amazing..."

In a flash, a new world was born, a much more free world compared to what had been endured for the last eleven years. Sonic and Sally's plan to prevent Robotnik's takeover was a success, and while their world hadn't changed, a new one flourished.

In this world, Sonic was much freer than he's been. No longer tied down to one place, he had the freedom to explore everything, to go wherever the wind takes him. While he would return occasionally to see his friends, especially his best friend Sally Acorn, he had to go explore once again. This hedgehog could not be tied down.

The threat of Robotnik wasn't done, however, as he continued his plans for world domination, only this time, the Castle of Acorn had not been overthrown, and he didn't have quite the power he once did, but that would not stop him. If he can't gain the world's military to use to his advantage, he would instead create his own ensemble, with his own two hands.

Of course Sonic would always be there to thwart him, including an adventure that started in Green Hill, one of Sonic's earlier encounters with his arch nemesis.

"You dare try to stop me? You impudent little hedgehog?" the villainous scientist said. "This will be the day that I, Doctor Robotnik, will put an end to you!"

"Huh, that's what you think, Eggman," Sonic taunted, ready to begin one of many encounters with his fearsome foe.

From then on the adventures continued, from Sonic meeting a young boy named Miles Prower, nicknamed Tails and stopping the Death Egg, to Sonic's encounter with Knuckles the Echidna on Angel Island, and saving the Sky Sanctuary, and even his encounter with Metal Sonic, and meeting a young girl named Amy Rose.

Sonic left Knothole at Age 10 and had been gone for five years, forming bonds with new friends and continuing his battles against Eggman. This wasn't the entirety of his epic adventures, this was merely the start of something grander, as Sonic stood across the distance, doing his best to prepare for what life would bring him next.

Flash forward seventeen years later, a young hedgehog girl was seen reading old texts and scrolls, amazed by the information before her.

"To think that dad did so much in his time," the girl chuckled to herself. "And it wasn't even limited to this timeline. Honestly that's just amazing, like how does dad even pull half this stuff off? And can I do it?"

"Sonia!" came the voice of a young Chipmunk, the boy glaring at the girl. "There you are."

"Hey there Manik, how's it going big bro?" Sonia replied.

"My mother's calling you, she's been worried sick," Manik said. "I told you before not to go off on your own, at least not without telling mom."

"I was only gone a few minutes, Aunt Sal really needs to learn how to chill," Sonia said.

"That is your Queen, Sonia Rose!" Manik said.

"Yes, I know that, Manik Acorn," Sonia mocked. "But she's my Godmother first, and last I checked, I'm not obligated to call her Queen, but I will respect her like one."

"You better, you may have the same father as me, but Sally Acorn is not your mother," Manik said. "You are for all intents and purposes, a peasant living in her castle."

"Well gee, aren't you a big ray of sunshine," Sonia said. "Seriously Manik, why do you have such a chip on your shoulder? I mean, I know you're a Prince, and next in line to be King, but for the love of Tikal, you need to learn how to be a bit more friendly. If you continue acting like this, you won't be a good king. Sally's a good queen because she's friendly."

"My mother is a good queen because she doesn't tolerate nonsense, now hurry up," Manik said.

Sonia grumbled and left the room, following her brother.

In this time, Mobius is under the rightful rule of Sally Acorn, the Queen of the planet and the first wife of the hero, Sonic the Hedgehog. The two had married twelve years prior, with Sonic and Sally having a son one year later.

The currently eleven-year-old crown prince of Planet Mobius, Manik Maximillian Acorn.

Unfortunately, the marriage between Sonic and Sally did not last, when Manik was four, his parents had divorced, and one year later, Sonic had entered a relationship with and married another childhood friend, Amy Rose, the two having a daughter together.

The currently six-year-old, headstrong daughter of heroes, Sonia Rose the Hedgehog.

This young girl was a curious one, always full of energy. More than anything, she admired her father and wanted to be a hero just like him. She admired her mother and wished to be as strong as she was. She was a great daughter, not a perfect daughter, but Sonic and Amy knows there's no such thing, and that doesn't matter, because their daughter is precious to them.

Manik, unfortunately, became bitter at this feeling of abandonment, like his father did not care for him whatsoever. This wasn't the case, Sonic did his best to be around his son, but it wasn't easy.

Despite that, Amy Rose did her best to encourage their close behavior, she wanted Sonic to have a bond with his son, even if Manik despised Amy for, as he puts it, taking his father away from his mother.

That bitterness passed onto Sonia, as he views her to be the embodiment of his current misery. This girl is the main reason he may never get his father back, and it bugs him that he must watch over her, like if he's supposed to care about her.

Meanwhile Sally is seen pacing the halls of her throne room, "Has anyone seen this kid? Ugh, she gets away so easily. How is Sonic supposed to trust me with his daughter if I keep losing her like this?"

"Princess Sally!" came the voice of Tangle the Lemur. "I regret to inform you that we have not found your Goddaughter."

"...Well, keep looking then!" Sally ordered.

"Yes my Queen!" Tangle said, bouncing off to find Sonia.

"That was pointless, next person better have something more useful to tell me rather than some pointless-," Sally said.

"Princess," came the voice of Whisper the Wolf, her sudden appearance freaking Sally out.

"I've asked you NOT to do that!" Sally said.

"My apologies, but you should know that your son Manik has found your Goddaughter," Whisper said. "They are both on their way here."

"Oh thank Goodness," Sally said. "At least that's taken care of."

Manik entered the throne room with Sonia quickly whizzing past him, "Aunt Sal!"

"Sonia!" Sally caught the girl in her arms as she jumped in for a hug. "You're safe."

"Of course, I wasn't that far," Sonia said, leaping off. "I was just in the records room, reading some old stuff about dad."

"Sonia, honey, I know you get excited easily and want to know a lot about things, but you can't just run off like you do," Sally said. "You really had me worried. At least make sure I know where you are."

"Sorry Aunt Sal, but I'm a pretty tough girl, so you don't need to worry about me so much," Sonia said.

"You could be stronger than Superman and I'd still be worried about you," Sally said, rubbing her head. "You're precious to me, you know that, don't you?"

"Yeah, I know," Sonia said. "I am precious aren't I, oh and also, I'm pretty sure I can be stronger than Superman if I really want to. Just give me those Chaos Emeralds and I'll show him that even this Rose's thorns can piece through his steely skin."

Sally had to take a moment to resist the urge to laugh, something about her boasting was very adorable. "You're just too much. But just please be careful, alright?"

"Fine, only for you, Aunt Sal," Sonia said, leaning up to kiss Sally on the cheek, a gesture Sally more than appreciated.

Manik rolled his eyes in annoyance, "Wow, aren't you just the perfect little girl, you runt."

Sonia glared at Manik, "I told you not to call me that!"

"Your fault for being so short," Manik said.

"Manik Maximillian Acorn, you be nice to your little sister," Sally warned, rubbing her head. "Remember, as the oldest, you have an example to set for her."

"It's not my obligation," Manik said.

"Manik..." Sally rubbed her head in annoyance. "Please try to-"

"Princess," Whisper said, startling both Sally and Sonia, the latter leaping into her godmother's arms.

"STOP! DOING THAT!" Sally scolded.

"My apologies," Whisper said. "But Sonic the Hedgehog and Amy Rose have returned."

"My parents are back!" Sonia leapt off and sped away.

"Sonia, don't just..." Sally grumbled in annoyance. "Damn that girl can be impatient."

"She is, but it is quite adorable," Whisper said.

"Oh yeah, it definitely is. Truthfully it reminds me so much of her dad when we were kids," Sally said. "I just can't be mad at that."

"I can," Manik said.

Sally walked over to Manik, rubbing his head, "You are one spoiled kid at times."

"Hey, you raised me," Manik said.

"Yeah, I did," Sally said, kissing her son's head. "You're the best thing that's happened to me too."

Manik awkwardly turned away, "Don't get sappy on me, mom."

"Sorry, you're becoming an adult, so I'll try not to baby you too much," Sally said. "Just know this, I love Sonia, but I love you too. I hope I'm not making you feel left out."

"I'm fine, mom," Manik said. "Don't worry about me."

Sally shrugged it off, "Kids these days, the more we're told not to worry, the more we want to worry." Sally made her exit, "Come on, lets go."

"Why? No one of importance is here," Manik said.

"Manik...you owe it to your father to try," Sally said.

"...Fine, but only for a little bit," Manik said.

"That's all I want," Sally said.

At the door, Amy was seen hugging Sonia hard, "I missed you so much my little Princess!"

"Missed you too mom," Sonia said, feeling the weight. "Now, can you ease up a bit? Even I can't take too much of this type of power."

"Sorry dear," Amy said, placing Sonia down. "Did you have a fun time with Aunt Sally?"

"Oh totally, I ran, I explored, I read scrolls," Sonia listed. "So much fun stuff."

"You didn't wear her out did you?" Amy asked. "Remember, Sally doesn't have the type of stamina me and your daddy have, and she's really busy being a Queen, so I hope you're not giving her any extra stress."

"I'm not, it's all good," Sonia said as Sally arrived.

"Sally!" Amy rushed over to hug her friend, Sally feeling overwhelmed.

"Amy, good to see you..." while not hugging too hard, Sally felt a bit overwhelmed.

Fortunately Amy let go pretty quickly, "Thank you so much for watching over Sonia."

"Any time, she's a very precious girl," Sally said. "How was your trip?"

"Not too bad, Sonic and I found some neat places to explore, and we hope to bring Sonia next time," Amy said.

"Wish I could go with you all the time," Sonia said.

"I know, but some of these places can be dangerous, it's just better if you're either with Sally or with Tails," Amy said. "Tails couldn't watch you because he was busy with work and Cream took Skye with her to visiting his grandmother for a bit."

"It's cool, I like Sally better, her castle is big, and I get to spend time with my big brother," Sonia said, gesturing to the boy in question.

"Hi Manik!" Amy greeted.

"Rose..." Manik greeted back.

"Huh, he actually acknowledged me by name, sort of, I think I'm growing on him," Amy said.

"I hope so," Sally said, turning her attention to the male hedgehog. "Hey Sonic, sounds like you had a nice adventure."

"As always," Sonic said. "Like Amy said, I really appreciate you looking after Sonia."

"You know you can always count on me," Sally said. "I do my best to keep up with her, even if it's easier said than done."

"Sonia will always slow down for you, if you need her to," Sonic said.

"Yeah, I know, but speedsters need to feel free, it's only nature after all," Sally said. "It's fine, I want Sonia to be herself. I'll still do my best to watch over her."

"I know you will, you're great at that," Sonic said, then turned to Manik. "Uh, hey son, how's it going?"

"Eh..." Manik said.

"Um, okay, good talking to you, I guess," Sonic said.

Sally groaned in annoyance, "Manik, your father is trying to engage in a conversation with you."

"No he's not, he asked me a question and I answered," Manik said. "Anyway I stayed long enough, I'm going."

"Manik!" Sally shouted.

"Whoa, it's fine Sal," Sonic said. "Uh, you do what makes you happy son."

"Yeah, yeah," Manik said, taking his leave.

Sally groaned in annoyance, "Sonic, you need to take charge, don't let Manik talk to you like that, you're his father."

"I know but, I'm trying not to tick him off," Sonic said. "Things are awkward enough already."

"Even if they are, he needs to respect you, but you need to put the work in," Sally said.

"Sally's got a point," Amy said. "You have to be tough on him, I know it's hard but it's the only way you can get through. Sometimes kids need a bit of toughness, like you are with Sonia."

"Sonia doesn't hate me though, we have a foundation of trust," Sonic said. "Manik and I don't have that and I'm worried about dismantling any hint of a bond between us."

Sally shook her head in shame, "I just wish I knew what to do. I try to do the right thing by my son but I'm afraid that I've made so many mistakes."

"Aw, don't say that, you're a great mom," Amy said. "You love your son, you're there for him, you two have such a close bond. Even when he acts grumpy I can tell he loves you like the world, and I know to you, he is the world. Don't give up Sally, you have me, Sonic and Sonia here for you."

"Amy's right," Sonic said. "You're doing a great job, clearly better than me."

"Sonic, you're a great father," Sally said. "Sonia is proof of that after all. Maybe it's because Amy is her mother that helps, you two just have that chemistry that we lacked, that's what's helping Sonia turn into a great young girl."

"Aunt Sal?" Sonia said, placing her hand on her godmother's. "I hope you know that I think you're a great mom. That's another reason I like coming here, thanks to you I don't miss my parents too much when they're away, you fill the void until they come back."

"Sonia really loves you," Amy said. "It makes me happy, proof that marriage and parenthood aren't the only things that bond us close together, true Friendship does, as a certain other Princess would say."

"Even she struggles with her kid, so you're not alone," Sonic said. "We got this Sal."

"Thanks," Sally said, then knelt to Sonia. "Manik will be fine, and so will I. Try not to worry about us."

"Sorry Aunt Sal, but even if you were stronger than Wonder Woman, I would still worry," Sonia teased.

"Ha, you're such a rascal," Sally said, then kissed Sonia on the head. "I love you."

"Love you too Aunt Sal," Sonia said, offering a smile so reminiscent of her father, bringing Sally back to the old days. Sonia turned her attention to her parents, "Mom, dad, lets juice."

"See ya Sal," Sonic said.

"Call us!" Amy said.

With that, the three sped off, Sally waving good-bye. Just behind her were Tangle and Whisper, the former looking bummed out.

"Ugh, I didn't get to say 'hi' to Sonic," Tangle said. "Why didn't you find me sooner Whisper?"

"I did my best, but this is Sonic we're talking about, always on the move," Whisper said.

"Even he slows down once in a while though," Tangle lamented.

"Don't worry Tangle, he'll be back," Sally said. "Listen, why don't you two take a break, I'm going to take a nice hot bath, I need to relieve some stress."

"Oh! Can we join you?" Tangle asked.

"...No," Sally said. "Like I said, I need to relieve stress."

"Huh? What does that mean?" Tangle wondered as Sally left.

"It means you too must remember to slow down," Whisper said, making her own leave.

"Sure, leave things a mystery to me," Tangle said, grumpily making her exit.

Outside, the Sonic family continued making their exit, not going unnoticed by a nearby Fiona Fox, the woman blowing a bubble gum in the woods and spitting it out as she caught the slightest glimpse of the blue blur, if at least feel the gust from his incredible speed.

"Always on the move huh? Just like you Sonic," Fiona said, fixing her gaze on the castle. "Even when you're free from the throne, there's always one thing that brings you back. For better or for worse."

As Sonic ran, Sonia went up to his side, "So dad, I was checking out some scrolls, about your early adventures. You know, like fighting Eggman at Green Hill and the time you faced your metal counterpart. Is there anything you can tell me about those travels? Or how about a story about how you went to Earth? Where you met those cool superheroes? Like the guy with the spider powers! Or that flame guy who became your archrival!?"

"Going to Earth was a fun adventure, and it led to so many amazing things," Amy said. "Do you remember Sonic? The first time we ended up on Earth?"

"You bet," Sonic said, recalling what happened seventeen years prior.

Eggman was using the power of the Chaos Emeralds for his nefarious reasons, hoping to using their energy to power his ultimate weapon.

Sonic had raided Eggman's base to stop him, and rescue a Rabbit girl named Cream, along with her pet Chao, Cheese, taking out several E-12 Behemoth robots in the process while Tails and Amy flew outside on the Tornado 2, the piloting fox taking out some robots with his missiles.

"Lousy hedgehog, he always wants to get in my way!" Eggman shouted, slamming his fist on a nearby table.

"Mr. Sonic doesn't do these things to get in your way, Mr. Eggman," Cream said. "He just doesn't let you do the bad things you like to do."

"Chao!" Cheese agreed.

"That so little Cream? Well then, lets see how he handles it once this last Chaos Emerald makes my machine invincible!" Eggman taunted.

"That so?" Sonic said, crashing into the base. "It's over Eggman."

"Sonic!" Eggman said, quickly inserting the emerald and holding a button. "You're too late, once I press this button, it's all over!"

"Only if you push it before I grab it," Sonic said.

"Why don't you give it a try then?" Eggman taunted. He sent a robot to attack his nemesis but Sonic easily dodged out of the way. "Get that Hedgehog, do it!" Suddenly Sonic appeared before Eggman, the robot aiming it's gun at him, freaking Eggman out. "W-wait, hold you fire!"

The robot shot anyway, Sonic easily dodging and Eggman ducking for cover as the machine behind him took damage from the robot's fire.

Sonic rushed over to the pod Cream was in, "You alright there?"

"Yeah, I think so...but what's happening?" Cream asked, gesturing to the machine.

"N-no! What have you done!?" Eggman shouted as the machine went out of control, then grabbed the radio. "Robots, are you there! Hey! Orbot!? Cubot!? Scratch! Anyone!?"

From outside, Tails and Amy had landed their plane, right beside Knuckles, the Echidna having just gotten there a second ago.

"Huh, Knuckles? When did you get here?" Tails asked, Knuckles grunting in annoyance.

"Hey, what's with the attitude?" Amy asked.

Suddenly the machine began to explode, much to Tails's worry, "What's going on!?"

"Chaos Control..." Knuckles said as the power of the machine began to teleport everyone and everything around.

Sonic was thrown through a portal, the hedgehog feeling confused as he soared through the skies above Planet Earth, the sudden spike of energy alerting several of its forces, including ones at S.H.I.E.L.D., massive anomalies detected.

A light shined bright above Japan, a quick light that very few had noticed, including a blonde hair exchange student of UA High School, that student being Johnny Storm.

"Huh? What's that supposed to be?" Johnny wondered. "Shooting star perhaps? Should I make a wish? What would I wish for? To be a great hero? Or should I wish for something to help push me into being a great hero?" He ended up shrugging it off, "Eh, it's late, I'll talk to Peter, Bobby and the girls about it tomorrow morning."

Sonic landed hard outside of a Dojo, the hedgehog rubbing his head in annoyance, "Ow...where am I?" He stood up and took a look around, seeing various symbols of a language he was not too familiar with. "Is this one of Eggman's tricks? Where is he?" Suddenly a worry passed through his mind, "Oh no, where's Cream? And Tails? And Amy?"

"Nani?" came a voice, the hedgehog turning around to spot a young human teenager holding a flashlight.

"Uh...hi?" Sonic said. "Who are you?"

"You speak?" the boy asked. "English too?"

"Uh, yeah, I speak...where am I?" Sonic asked. "Is this still Mobius?"

"Mobius?" the boy asked.

"Okay, something tells me I'm lost," Sonic said. "Do you know where I can find the nearest telephone or something?"

"Uh...perhaps," the boy said. "Sorry, I am not used to seeing this."

"It's cool, I'm a little freaked out myself," Sonic said. "But I am worried about my friends, I know we just met but I could use your help."

The boy seemed a bit cautious, this creature, the likes he has never seen just came out of nowhere. But in a world like this, perhaps this creature isn't so strange. Plus, he could tell he needed help, and one thing his father taught him was to never turn away anyone in need, "Of course, I'd be glad to assist."

"Cool, I appreciate that," Sonic said. "Oh, we should probably introduce ourselves."

"I am Ryo Hazuki," the boy said. "What is your name?"

"Call me Sonic," the Blue Blur said. "Sonic the Hedgehog."

This was the start of a Sonic Adventure on planet Earth.

The start of Sonic's origin as part of a big continuity from the My Hero Academia stories I've been working on. The story will jump back and forth between timelines for a bit.

Trivia, Manik and Sonia, while the names of Sonic's brother and sister from the show Sonic Underground, those were also the names of the two kids that Sonic and Sally had in the 25 Years Later Comic. (I know Manik is spelt Manic in Underground, but I'm going by Archie's spelling here). In this continuity, not only did their species get swapped, but they have different mothers. Amy is Sonia's mother, Sally is Manik's, and Sonic is their dad.

Hope you enjoy the story
