"No, definitely Ares…they are always the worst."

"Well, excuse you." Clarisse cleared her throat. There were a few chuckles at that.

"The thing is that people tend to judge the god and their kids by their domains. Its quite stereotypical if I'm going to be honest." Percy said.

"Or by one of the kids' mistakes." Frank added.

"It's like one of your kids fucked up, well shit, the god or the other kids of that god suck and are gonna do the same thing. I mean, guys, seek help." Castor shook his head.

"Also, I'd also say that its quite hypocritical of Hylla to say that." Dakota said. "Because like, even they're warriors and like, kids of a war god…well, they're useful to the arsenal and it doesn't really matter whether its Mars or Ares. Just because Otrera is a pain doesn't mean all the kids are." He explained.

"That's true, you know. People need to be smart in stuff like that." Aphrodite sighed, knowing how many of her kids were labelled certain things that really grated on them just because they were kids of the goddess of beauty.

"The old ways…" Hazel had…as an evil, scheming Greek

"Well thanks." Percy chuckled at Hazel. "I am not an evil, scheming Greek but well, I am Greek."

"You mean the Amazons…locked away," Kinzie reported.

"Fun. We're prisoners now. Like, bruv, what did we ever do to you." Percy shook his head.

"We're criminals. Nice." Frank added on.

"But...returned soul when I see one.

"She's good." Hades said

"And we couldn't even run away." Reyna sighed.

"She'd find out?" Annabeth asked. Reyna nodded.

"And if she did, she would punish and it would always be in the worst ways possible. Worse than being turned into a guinea pig." Reyna said, looking at Annabeth and then at Percy.

Kinzie made a three-fingered…what he made us endure."

"I'm…so sorry." Percy said to Reyna "I knew that we released the pirates but the fact that they kidnapped you guys and well…it wasn't even your fault. So, I really am sorry for that." Percy told her, with the apology written in his eyes as well.

"Its all right. We both are where we wanted to be and should be now and that wouldn't have been possible if you hadn't done that. We even learned to fight because of that." Reyna smiled at him.

"But Reyna became the praetor…is the founder of the Amazons."

"That doesn't matter. She's going to be filled with revenge and overconfidence because she thinks that she's going to win with every cell in her body but Hylla's going to be calm and cool headed, at least as compared to her. And there's no doubt that Hylla's also a better queen and if it depends on the fates by the end of it, then even they would choose who handles the lives of other people in a better way." Ares explained.

"I thought that you'd support your daughter in the fight." Poseidon commented.

"Maybe I should but when she's wrong, she's wrong. There's nothing that I can do about that. I always tell all of my kids to never be overconfident in a fight. I knew that but I made that mistake when I fought Percy and I learnt." Ares shrugged.

"But you're not bothered by the fact that she might die?" Poseidon asked. Percy pursed his lips. He knew why his father was asking his cousin all these things. It was because hearing about Phineas' death was still fresh in his mind. He didn't blame him for asking such questions.

"Its not that I won't be bothered by her death. But I would be more bothered if she was responsible for other people dying. Otrera changed after Gaea brought her back. She was the only that she was loyal to or actually cared about. She wouldn't care about the people under her if she became queen. She would kill anybody who merely said something against her. I may be the god of war but I don't encourage people being killed for absolutely no reason and I don't support people who do that without any sort of regret." Ares said, looking directly at Poseidon, his gaze strong.

Clarisse and Frank smiled at each other at what Ares said and the others all nodded in agreement.

"She's a lot older…show them who's in charge

"Well, this is…awkwardly odd." Lee cleared his throat.

"I mean, then why not make it a kind of mixed group? Because like, they haven't forsaken romantic love so it doesn't really matter if men and women fight together. Even if they fall in love, it doesn't really matter anyways." Katie said curiously.

"They like to show them who's in charge." Nico said to her with raised eyebrows.

"I heard that, cousin, but I'm not saying make them king. Make it that only women rule the amazons but at least treat everybody like equals for the other things." Katie said

"Its just tradition. Its been going on so long and its just continued." Demeter told Katie who sighed.

"Yeah but honestly, Hylla's not that bad. She has a fairly good attitude with guys as well." Percy said. Reyna gave him a small smile.

But that's beside the point…the son of Neptune and Ceres."

Nico tried to control his laugh and he succeeded for a while. Percy and Katie looked at each other and both of them cleared their throats and looked away. Poseidon and Demeter's exchange was even more awkward. Nico and Thalia looked at each other and just couldn't control themselves as they both burst out laughing and clutched their stomachs as they ran out of breath. Hades had the right to chuckle mildly at his younger brother as well.

"Shut up, both of you." Percy groaned.

"I've said it once and I'm going to say it." Nico said with a grin "Benefits of being a goddamn son of Hades." He whooped. Percy stuck his tongue out at Nico who returned the gesture with a wink. Percy looked at him and smirked when Nico was drenched in water. Hades and Poseidon snorted in amusement. Thalia rolled on the floor in laughter at Nico's flabbergasted expression.

"What are you laughing about, Pikachu?" Percy told Thalia with a raised eyebrow. The next second, even she was drenched from head to toe. This time even Zeus looked amused and Percy grinned triumphantly.

"Benefits of being a son of Poseidon." He winked at Nico.

The Hermes and Apollo gang clapped in the typical slow motion style in pure awe. Nico and Thalia stared at Percy.

"I'm going to get you back for this, Jackson." Thalia told him.

"You could try." Percy winked at her.

"Oh, this is going to be a team-up fight." Nico warned Percy.

"Ha! You're on." Percy grinned. Hades looked at Nico who was still drenched and a smirking Percy with a drenched Thalia and he looked at Poseidon and the two of them burst out laughing, remembering when the exact same thing had had happened to them.

"You guys better not be remembering that one time." Zeus said but chuckled as well.

"You know that we are." Poseidon told him and the three of them chuckled. Percy, Nico, Thalia, Jason and Hazel grinned at each other when they saw that.

Hazel blinked…felt hot with embarrassment.

Everybody chuckled at that.

"He's the fastest horse…one of our greatest prizes

"He's not a prize." Demeter scowled.

But it did us no good…The queen gasped

"The ease with which you just did that-" Grover shook his head in amazement.

"Hazel, be careful!"… Arion has chosen you

"He definitely has." Poseidon nodded "I'd say he chose well." He smiled warmly at Hazel who blushed under the compliment.

Kinzie?"… a prison break occurred."

Everybody cheered and hooted for Hylla this time.

"Good one." Clarisse chortled.

Kinzie began to smile…and used for an escape."

The cheering got louder and was mixed with laughter.

"I mean, she can always claim that she didn't help at the end. Smart. Very smart." Michael chuckled.

Hazel felt like she'd been…who was about to send her to jail.

"It's possible to make such a friend so quickly especially when its life or death and when you're on the same side." Rachel smiled.

This conversation never happened,"… she had a sister like this.

"I think I can make do with a brother like this-" Hazel punched Nico in the shoulder with a grin "And cousins like these three." Hazel grinned at Percy, Jason and Thalia.

"Honestly, you're just as mischievous." She chuckled.

"Oh, they're more." Triton commented.

Reyna smiled to herself, remembering her sister. She remembered when she was in her room and had received a note from the fates which told her that even her sister would be made immortal.

"Good-bye, Hazel Levesque,"… well, I'm glad I met you."

"She'll survive. She's tough." Ares nodded. Reyna smiled at him.

"Chapter's done." Hephaestus said.

"I'll read next." Grover said. Hephaestus passed him the book and he flipped to the next chapter.
