Author's Intro:
I have had a problem with falling for bad guys for years (my first major crush was Sandwich Boy from Lilo and Stitch, lol). I am one of those who says "villains are misunderstood." I have realized, within the past decade or so, that my villain affinity typically is geared toward dark-haired villains. So, when one of my students pointed Zach Varmitech out to me, I fell for him. I should be ashamed, but I am not! He's just been added to the ever-growing list of villains I adore!
This is a rewrite of my first published fanfiction Wild Violet, feel free to check this story out (on my A03 page only) as well if you have not read it, and/or you want an idea of what will be happening. This story, in contrast to Wild Violet, comes from the perspective of both Zach Varmitech and my female OC, Violet Virginia Tyler.
Disclaimer: I do not own the show "Wild Kratts" or any characters created for the show by the Kratt brothers. I am simply playing in the sandbox they created, and I am introducing my own story line with my OC Violet.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife; you may kiss the bride."
The officiant stated, and my husband gently lifted the veil covering my face over my head and leaned in for a kiss, but he was not quick enough: I was swept into the arms of a Zachbot who attempted to kiss me while Zach Varmitech stamped his foot and angrily screamed in his shrill voice, "He didn't mean YOU!" As soon as the Zachbot let go of me, Zach threw his arms around me, dipping me slightly, and he kissed me passionately.
Zach released me from the kiss, held my hands, and pressed his forehead against mine, "I love you, Violet," he whispered and kissed my cheek. He pulled his head away, and I looked into his joyful emerald eyes; "I love you too, Zach," I responded.
The officiant declared, "I am pleased to introduce Mr. and Mrs. Zachary Bennett Varmitech." We walked down the aisle to the applause and cries of congratulations from our families and closest acquaintances, which of course included our villain friends.
Zach tightened his hold on my arm and ghosted his lips along my ear while he whispered, "Now you're mine, Violet, and there's nothing anyone can do to take you away from me."
"Yes, my greatness," I responded sweetly as he started laughing and dragged me into the foyer of the church. Well, I thought, that's not new. I'd been with him for two years and had been in love with him since my youth. This just sealed the deal and made it official: I was now Mrs. Violet Virginia Varmitech.

There is a moment in everyone's life when they realize nothing will ever be the same again. For me that moment happened as an eleven-year-old child at summer camp.
My aunt Amy, with the best of intentions, thought a trip to a "fancy science camp" up north would be the best way for me to either get over, or come to terms with, the death of my parents. While I loved my aunt dearly, I despised her decision to send me to The Greatest Minds of Our Youth Science Camp.
It was not until the end of my trip that I realized her decision to send me to this camp would define the rest of my life. For it was at this camp that I met and fell in love with Zach Varmitech.
Everyone has a story. This is mine.
"Heeeyyyy! It's not just your story!" Zach's whiny voice interrupts me as I type.
"Is something wrong, Zach?" I look up to see him as he glances down at my laptop observing what I have written so far.
"Yeah! This is my story too; this is our story! I wanna tell my part of it too!" Zach pulls up a chair beside me, crosses his arms, and angrily plops his skinny frame into the seat.
"Well, if you want to help me write it, you're more than welcome to, I'm sure our readers would love to hear both sides of the story," I respond as I hand him my handwritten rough draft to look over. Zach reaches for his glasses and puts them on to skim the draft.
"Of course they would! I'm Zach Varmitech, and you're Violet Varmitech, we are an unstoppable force together! Just imagine how this story will be with both of us writing it, what you have so far looks good by the way, Vi." He states, looking over his glasses at me with a sultry gaze.
"Why thank you," I laugh as I take a bow in my chair.
"Don't let it go to your pretty little head," Zach mutters, rolling his eyes as he continues to read.
"Do you think we will have time to do this with everything else we have going on?" I ask after he sits my draft down and takes off his glasses.
"I know we can do it together, as long as we are together, we can accomplish anything." Zach's words calm my fears, and he leans in for a kiss.
His warm lips envelop mine, and as we separate after the kiss Zach hums contentedly in his throat before he says, "I love you, Violet Virginia Varmitech."
"I love you, Zachary Bennett Varmitech."
