"Leave us." The King's cold command left no room for question as the few elves that had been no doubt running errands or waiting on the King scurried out of the room, the loud thud of the throne room doors closing behind them. She was alone with the King of the greenwood. She clasped her hands before her, clutching them tighter to stop their faint shake. Meeting his gaze once again, one thick eyebrow raised.

"What is your business here? I have been told that Radagast the Brown has sent you with tidings." Ellawyn nodded her head, swallowing thickly before beginning her tale.

"My lord, I have been working in tandem with Radagast and Beorn in investigating the increase in orcs, wargs, and other fell things outside the borders of your realm, as I am sure you have as well, within." He nodded once in her direction, looking bored by her. She continued regardless,

"Radagast sought me two days ago between the Misty Mountains and your borders with ill tidings indeed. It is this news that I have come to warn you about."

"Something Stirs in the old Fortress, My Lord. Something evil-" He held up an elegant hand. Eyes once again piercing her.

"If you have come to inform me of the evils of the world, child, you have wasted your time. You have traveled through the Greenwood, do you think I do not know about the poisoning of it?" His tone held an irritated tone, making her feel as though she were an elfling being scolded.

"No, My Lord," she stuttered, suddenly feeling flustered. Deciding to skip the rest of the story, she blurted out her reason for coming quite unceremoniously.

"The Dark Lord is back." Despite his carefully guarded mask, she thought she saw a spark of surprise in his face before he recovered.

"You speak of what you do not know. The One was vanquished long ago," he hissed. She shook her head, silently lifting a shaking hand to the bag that hung at her side. Cautiously taking a few steps toward the few stairs leading to the throne, she pulled her burden from the pack. He studied her carefully, his eyes following the object she now held towards him in her hand.

"Radagast journeyed to Dol Guldur, My Lord, this is what he found." The King stood, elegantly descending the few steps to stand in front of her. She looked up into his eyes, intimidated by this regal elf who felt so powerful before her. He stood nearly a head taller than her and she felt her stomach flip in anxiousness. Slowly, he broke her gaze to look at the object she carried, one hand extending to flip the fabric wrapped around it away. A gasp left his lips and his eyes flared dangerously before he recovered the blade in her hands.

"A Morgul Blade." He said thoughtfully, once again meeting her eyes. He ascended the throne steps before sitting down again, his face once again displaying a careless mask. He nodded at her before speaking again,

"Ill tidings indeed, though the information is appreciated. You are dismissed." Ellawyn nodded, packing the blade carefully into her pack once again, curtsying and striding quickly out of the halls.
