"Bug Eye, you stay here and guard the bomb. I'm gonna go flatten Deku!" Katsuki had barked angrily.

"Hmph. I'm not much for teamwork, I can tell you aren't either." Kamikiri strode over to the explosive teen's location in the room. "Midoriya is a formidable foe though, so I think we should set our pride aside and take him down together. I know when someone has me beat." Kamikiri expected Bakugo to understand. Two lone wolves were a bad matchup for a team, but even then, he felt they could set aside their usual methods for a strategy to beat a superior opponent. Instead, Kamikiri was met with eyes of anger and a face of confusion.

"The fuck are you so scared of shitty Deku for?! He's a quirkless pebble of shit! You could stab him 50 times over with your pig tusks you stupid bastard!" Katsuki started to flare explosions from his palm. "If you wanna be a pussy, fine, but quiver like a baby while defending the bomb. I can beat that piece of shit."

"What... what the hell are you talking about quirkless?!" Kamikiri snapped. It was a familiar rage, one imbued in his motives. "You are one stupid motherfucker if you think Midoriya is quirkless! Didn't you hear? He blew up the zero pointer during his entrance exam! I saw it happen!" He usually wasn't one to defend a person he didn't know all to well, but the way Katsuki spoke down on Izuku brought up unpleasant memories.

"Like fucking hell he did!" Katsuki snapped back. He let a puff of smoke loose, filling the room with the stench of ash. "His puny ass is definitely lying to you guys. he's a pathetic quirkless loser, always has been! He keels over any time anyone talks louder than him! Can't believe he has you dumbass 1-B extras wrapped around his finger." Katsuki reached to door of the room and threw it open. "I'm going to send him back home, to the stone age, as far away as I can. Doesn't matter where, so long as he isn't near me at U.A!" With that, the explosive blonde slammed the door shut, leaving Kamikiri stunned and confused.

He was no fool. He could recognize what kind of person Bakugo was, but that didn't let him diagnose the root of the problem. Kamikiri knew anger and inferiority, it was as evident as his pale green skin, but this was a level he hadn't seen in years. He sighed as he slumped against the wall, holding his head in his hands.

"Hope I can do something against Midoriya solo... dammit!"

"BATTLE TRIAL, BEGIN!"

-{ ~ }-

Izuku was pacing outside of the building, muttering up a word storm that Koji had absolutely no hope of keeping up with. He stood off to the side, meek and composed before being started by Izuku's sudden pause. Koji couldn't see Izuku's eyes under his black lenses, but he imagined the look he gave him was intense, so he started to cower a little under his gaze.

"Koda, you're gonna be really important here." Izuku said softly, taking off his mask. "Sorry if I scared you, I can be a little intense when I'm brainstorming." Izuku let his eyes soften and his posture loosened somewhat. Koji just nodded. "Tell me what your quirk does again?"

"I-I can t-t-talk to an-animals." Koji was still nervous but was able to add on to the details. "I can talk to animals as f-far as my vo-voice can reach." Izuku nodded.

"Okay. I need you to get a group of birds to recon each floor of the building. Ask them to perch in the windowsills and get a live update on everything on every floor. Keep one bird with you so they can communicate with each other and you." Koji nodded. Finally, Izuku's intense glare was back. "I know Kacchan. He'll come for me first. He probably told Kamikiri to stay put, but he probably didn't. They're both strong fighters." Izuku's gaze broke for just a moment. "Well, I know Kacchan is. I just have a strong hunch about Kamikiri."

"BATTLE TRIAL, BEGIN!"

"Let's do this Koda!" Koji yelped as Izuku leapt into the fray, instantly knocking the main entrance out of his way. Koji 'yelled' out for a group of passing pigeons and relayed his desires to them. A smaller flock of birds had come down from the top of the building to listen in as well and the whole group got into their positions.

Izuku ran through the corridors of the building with unpracticed ease. Movements that were etched into his body from the memories, not his own practice. Izuku was scanning each room and floor with unmatched speed, clearing hallways and floors like nobodies business.

Far too fast for a rookie.

Indeed, All Might had noticed the speed in which Izuku was traveling through the floors and had began to wonder if this was sloppy work or just carelessness. Yet the more he looked, the more he realized his successor was checking the rooms with proficiency on a pro's level.

He felt guilty for not being able to communicate with his pupil. The odd behavior he had displayed at the beach was cause for concern, but his duties as All Might were more pressing.

He just hoped he would be of use.

"Man check out Green storming those rooms! Even I couldn't do that and I can be in two places at once!" Setsuna was seated with her team member, Mezou Shoji, who stoically watched the screen. He hummed a deep note that rumbled in his chest.

"Indeed. Your classmate is quite fast, but how efficient is it? He may be checking rooms fast but it doesn't look very thorough."

"It may look as such, but it seems young Midoriya has a natural affinity for clearing out empty rooms." All Might joked from the front. If All Might was confirming it then it had to be true.

"Midoriya truly has the makings of a hero!" Iida couldn't help but heap on the praise. Maybe he could talk to his brother about where he could improve to be more like Midoriya. What kind of intense training had he done before arriving at U.A to make him look like such a pro amongst his peers.

"It make's me wonder why he didn't take the recommendation exam." A cold voice spoke. Eyes landed on the figure of what some could call an icy terminator. A gleaming red disk, placed over where ones right eye would be, surrounded by artificial ice on his right side. This was Iida's partner, Shoto Todoroki. "By all means, he's much better at recon than even me." This surprised many of the students there. It was no secret that this was the son of the number two hero, Endeavor.

"Todoroki, surely he isn't that good?" A female voice spoke from another part of the room. Black eyes met the single visible gray one. Todoroki stared down his classmate, Momo Yaoyorozu. She was his fellow recommendation student in 1-A, so they had somewhat connected over this.

"Woah check it out!" Eijiro spoke up pointing at the screen. All eyes focused on the hallway that was filled with sparks and smoke.

All eyes watched the gray blur.

Izuku climbed the stairs to the third floor, already tired of checking so many rooms. It was getting damn annoying. Tapping the earpiece on his right, he called for his teammate. "Anything to report Koda?"

"Yes. The birds are saying that Kamikiri is with the bomb on the fifth floor. Bakugo isn't there." Izuku frowned a little. He had expected Kamikiri to run off, but was surprised that he was idle protecting the bomb.

"Got it." As communication line cut out, Izuku heard a volley of explosions coming from the hall to his right. His body was rapt with anxiety, but also a huge amount of adrenaline and excitement. Years of studying Bakugo and being his punching bag had culminated into this upcoming fight. He wouldn't be a Deku in Bakugo's eyes anymore after this. He'd show him just how far he'd come.

And how far behind Bakugo was at the same time.

"How'd you cheat your way in here?! SHITTY DEKU!" It was a lightning fast reaction.

'I always used to lead with a big right hook, but my classmates caught on pretty quirk. I still do it from time to time, it's a bad habit.' It was an echo of a Bakugo in his memories.

The right hook came. Izuku raised his hands, a green glow surrounding his dark form.

The fight was over.

Izuku parried the explosive hook, letting Bakugo's arm graze past the right side of his face, hairs on his arm just centimeters away from poking his skin. Izuku had the capture tape in his left hand. With speed that Bakugo couldn't track, he threw the tape with so much force it bounced off the wall to Bakugo's left, creating a line of tape around his body. But Bakugo was unable to react, still stuck in the shock that Izuku Midoriya just parried his right hook. Izuku spun, grabbing the line with both hands and pulling hard, wrapping the tape around Bakugo's neck. In an instant, the explosive teen was knocked on his ass in a clothesline maneuver. His head was swimming from the impact against the ground, so much so he could barely hear the words spoken by All Might in his earpiece.

"Villain team's Katsuki Bakugo has been detained!"

-{ ~ }-

"Holy crud Zumi! Your brother is insanely good!" Mina shouted. Along with her proclamation, there were tons of shouts about the decisive victory Izuku had shown. Izumi was floored at the moves her brother had pulled. It was impressive but it was just so out of place for a guy like him. The movements were too fluid, too natural, too effective.

Yet, she knew why it had went down this way. Izuku had been privy to tell her of his new habits, not like she hadn't noticed them. He was always tense and constantly double checking his surroundings, like he was expecting some sort of sneak attack. That kind of mindset would have helped him at Aldera more than it would here, but now that was him.

"It's more like the habits of a soldier than anything. Maybe one of the past users was in the army." That was his speculation. Maybe. She was just so lost and didn't know how to help, but she had to keep up the façade around her classmates.

"Yep, sure is a natural!" She said with a somewhat forced giggle. Of all the people in the room to look at her funny, it was All Might. His deep blue held an intense gaze on her own emerald before braking off and announcing Bakugo's loss. "He was always good at analyzing people and quirks and he's known Kats since childhood. They even went to the same all boys middle school." Most of the class was fascinated to hear this information.

All Might simply made a mental note to speak to Izumi later.

-{ ~ }-

Izuku propped Bakugo against a wall, tightly wound in capture tape. After securing the boy, Izuku made a mad dash for the fifth floor, spotting the room that Koda had pointed out earlier. Forgoing stealth, Izuku slammed the door aside, spotting Kamikiri in front of a stack of boxes. It was obvious that the boxes were meant to hide the bomb, but when the rest of the room was barren, it was pretty obvious.

"I expected Bakugo to lose, but not that fast." Kamikiri shrugged. "Typical, people like him. So where's your teammate Midoriya?" Kamikiri dropped into a battle stance, a blade starting to protrude from his wrists.

"He's around. Can't spoil where though, that makes it less fun." Izuku also dropped into a battle stance.

"Don't underestimate me Midoriya!"

"Wouldn't dream of doing that."

The boys pushed off the ground, rushing headlong to land the first blow or the decisive one, perhaps even both. Kamikiri got in close, swinging his left arm blade that Izuku simply parried downwards as he cocked his left first back. As the fist came forward, Kamikiri blocked it with his arm. Taking advantage of the contact Izuku was making with his skin, Kamikiri produced an extra fast blade to try and cut Midoriya at the finger, but the gray clad contestant drew his had back as the blade popped out of his arm. Kamikiri raised his left arm back up in a swinging motion, hoping the blade could do some damage as it came back to his defense. Izuku ducked under the swipe, dropping onto his hands in a crouch. Unable to defend his lower half, Kamikiri was swept off the ground with a hooking sweep.

Izuku was feeling a rush in both parts of him. It was exhilarating fighting someone like this in such close proximity. The thrill of danger got his blood pumping. Izuku took in his surroundings once more, noticing his teammate behind the door of a side entrance.

"On my signal." He whispered into his earpiece. He couldn't confirm if Koda got the message.

Izuku watched as Kamikiri rolled from his fall. It was a quick recovery, and as a defense mechanism, Kamikiri had produced a dozen or so small but razor sharp blades on his back. Izuku was amused by the sight, but would talk to him later about it. As Kamikiri rose, Izuku took a step back.

"Stalling for time? Shouldn't that be my job?" A pigeon cooed at the end of his sentence.

"Maybe, but I'm enjoying this. Why shouldn't I draw it out." Izuku smiled as he watched the pigeon turn its head to him.

"Hah! We're more alike than I thought. How about we spar some time after this." The flap of wings made Izuku stir.

"Lets." Kamikiri jumped forward, blades surrounding his arms and Izuku...

Simply stood there. A wide smirk on his face, unseen underneath his mask.

It was an ominous sight, one that was blocked out by a flock of pigeons disrupting his line of sight.

"Battle trial over! Hero team wins!" With that message, the avian assault had ended and Kamikiri could get a clear look at Koda, who held onto the paper mache bomb with a wide hand. Izuku strode over to his teammate and discarded his mask.

"Haah... Quite the tactician aren't you, Izuku Midoriya." Kamikiri muttered as he lay on the floor, pigeons surrounding his prone form.

-{ ~ }-

"Would anyone like to divulge who they thought was the VIP of this round?" Yaoyorozu had started to raise her hand but was interrupted by Izuku speaking up faster.

"Definitely Koda. I would have lost precious time searching for the bomb room after securing Kacchan." Izuku heard a few snickers from Izumi's direction but pushed onwards. "And his pigeon play was the perfect distraction to get Kamikiri away from the bomb." Koda couldn't help but feel trapped by the amount of praise being tossed his way, but one look at Izuku's smiling face had put him at ease. If Izuku thought he deserved it, then so be it.

"I still believe you were the more crucial combatant, Midoriya. Your detainment of Bakugo was professional and swift, without a wasted movement. And your faith in your teammate is what led the 'Pigeon Play' to work so well. You kept Koda hidden by not attracting any of Kamikiri's attention in the direction of the side door." Yaoyorozu wasn't a face he was familiar with, but after her analysis, he would make sure to remember her.

"I couldn't have said it better myself young Yaoyorozu!" All Might got the students laughing, while he grumbled under his breath. "... no seriously, I couldn't have." Coughing into his fist, he continued. "Next up, Team B: Tenya Iida and Shoto Todoroki versus Team F: Ibara Shiozaki and Toru Hagakure!"

Izuku sat down next to his sister, being assaulted with praise and commentary by her 1-A friend group, as well as his 1-B friend group. Izumi herself just tugged on his hand with a worried look on her face. He gave a faint smile, tugging back, but the anxiety in her face was still evident. For now though, he just gave off a look that said 'we'll talk later.'

-{ ~ }-

All Might had pulled the Midoriya siblings into one of the many conference rooms spread across the building. They were out of their costumes and in their normal uniform, though Izuku hadn't bothered with his tie since it was now the end of the day.

"So, let me start with Izuku first." All Might turned to face his successor. He still had about an hour's worth of time in his hero form, so he could waste some time talking. "Might I just say, you performed mighty well during the battle trial! Your-"

"I told Izumi about One For All, you can drop your hero form." It was like a brick landed on his head, with the way he sputtered and stopped talking. All Might look to the side, looking for confirmation within his sister and sure enough, she nodded. With that, a large puff of smoke took over the form and he was left skeletal and slouching on the sofa.

"Why'd you tell her without consulting me first, young Midoriya." All Might frowned at the action but Izuku just stared at him.

"Yagi, I get your need for secrecy with One For All, but I can't hide it from the people that need to know, especially Izumi." It was strange to be 100% sure of his words. There was no doubt from his other part, it was in full agreeance. "She's strong, stronger than me mentally and definitely with her quirk. She needed to know." Izuku paused as he sighed. "Especially with how I've been acting lately..."

"Yes, that was the crux of why I pulled you two aside." Toshinori rubbed the back of his head as he pondered what to say. Luckily, Izumi started for him.

"He told me how it all went down, the hair and all. He said that he had this influx of memories that weren't his and that he was being influenced heavily by them. When he told me what the basis of the quirk was, I had a theory that maybe One For All stockpiled more than power as it was passed down." Izumi paused to look down at her shaking hands. "I... I know it's selfish, to like the way this new Izuku is, but it's just been so long since I've seen him without that look on his face!" Izumi continued, a few tears daring to jump from her eyes. "I know he says he was never jealous of me for having a quirk and he was never jealous of others, but the way he looked at us, using our gifts... it breaks you. You have to have met tons of quirkless people, right All Might?" She looked up as the blonde man was preparing a speech.

"Actually, he knows better than anyone. He was quirkless too." The two other occupants froze, completely unmoving. Izumi from shock at the revelation and Toshinori at that, and the fact that Izuku knew. "Sorry. It was from a memory." Toshinori sighed, grumbling something under his breath.

"Look I'm not mad but don't do that again." Toshinori said in a firm tone, as if disciplining a child. "You say you have memories of another person. How many of them?" Izuku shrugged.

"Dunno, they're all foggy and I can't see any of them clearly." Izuku grabbed his chin with his fingers. "Well there was one when I went to sleep the night of the exam. Oh and... that dream after I took out the zero pointer. There was a ball of light and a disembodied voice that told me to remember who he was. The dream after that put me in the perspective of someone overlooking a city, but none of it looked familiar to me. There was a lot of construction going on but that's all I could see before I woke up."

"This is just... haah..." Toshinori huffed in annoyance. "Why couldn't it be simple like it was with me? Oh well, what're you gonna do." He looked at his successor before starting again. "Well, your combat abilities sure have proven thorough and I know I didn't teach you that yet. Is this influence from the memories." Izuku nodded.

"I've been antsy and on edge most of the time. Double checking corners and always surveying the room. It's strange, well all of this is, but I'm acting more like a soldier or a mercenary than anything else. Do you know of the history of the past One For All users?"

"Other than my master, no." Toshinori shook his head. "She was a hero, that's all she ever was, to my knowledge at least." He smiled at the fond memories.

"Well what do we do now?" Izumi asked.

"I don't think there's anything I can do. I just have to live with this new me and figure it out if it ever clears up." Izuku looked out the window, gazing at the city.

"I have no doubts you'll handle yourself well, young Izuku."

Lunch the next day was particularly enjoyable. Izuku had ordered pork katsudon again, while his sister got some beef and broccoli stir fry.

"If you eat too much of that, mom's gonna think you don't like her katsudon!" Izumi ribbed. The rest of the table laughed at the sibling interaction.

"No way! I love mom's katsudon, I just can't ask her to make it everyday like I can with Lunch Rush." Izuku whined. Izumi just continued to chew her noodles.

"Love mom's cooking huh? Maybe I'll have to try it some day." Setsuna had popped her head over between Izuku and Izumi with a wide flirty smile directed at the boy.

"Oh wanting to meet the parents so soon? You guys sure move fast!" Mina teased from across the table. Setsuna started cackling, as did Izumi, while Izuku just rolled his eyes with a grin.

"You would all feel the same if you ate what she made." Hearts melted at Izuku's soft statement. Izumi was still laughing her heart out. Izuku began to pull food towards his mouth when he felt a sharp head pain.

BEEP BEEP BEEP

Level three security breach. All students please evacuate the building.

BEEP BEEP BEEP

That was... oddly convenient timing. It was as if Izuku's body was bracing him for the alarm. Across from him, Iida grabbed a third year student to ask what was going on.

"A level three means someone got past the barrier! Hasn't happened in my three years here so I'm booking it! Stay safe freshies!" The third year was let go by Iida, who had a grim look on his face as the group joined the stampede at the exits.

Push and shove, this was the motion that carried Izuku to the glass overlooking the front entrance. With his cheeks smushed to the glass, he saw the reporters from this morning pouring into the school, being stopped only by the homeless looking Eraserhead and less homeless looking Present Mic. Izuku had to say something.

A brilliant flash of light stunned the students near him, giving him some breathing room. With a grunt of effort, he jumped towards a solid wall, pushing off of it and jumping onto a ledge above the doors. Color Izuku surprised when he saw a floating Tenya Iida smash his way into the very same wall.

"Hang around here often?" Izuku quipped. Iida didn't say anything but had a faint grin before turning his attention to the sea of students below them.

"EVERYONE CALM DOWN! IT'S JUST THE MEDIA OUTSIDE! DEPART FROM THE BUILDING IN AN ORDERLY FASHION, ONE THAT REPRESENTS US AS PROPER U.A STUDENTS!" Tenya shouted at the crowd. A lot of people had seen it, but not everyone. So Izuku made his presence even more known. Charging up more of One For All, another flash of green captured everyone's eyes, as his booming voice captured their ears.

"ENOUGH! GET A GRIP AND STOP PANICKING!" Iida studied Izuku's expression. He looked frustrated and upset. Iida could see himself looking like this, but Izuku? It was an odd sight.

The students recollected themselves though. Their intervention prevented a mob. As Ochako floated herself up to bring Iida back to the ground, Izuku spotted a wisp of black smoke behind a tree outside of the gate. Something screamed in his other half, but he had no idea what to make of the emotion.

Yet his gut, his true emotional gut, didn't feel any more relieved.

-{ ~ }-

The next day's heroics class brought the students outside a massive bus. It was another joint class, so students of 1-A and 1-B mingled amongst each other while the teachers made a few calls to their destination.

Izuku found himself sandwiched between Tsuyu and Ochako, staring down his sister who was sandwiched by Setsuna, Mina and an invisible girl in a gym uniform laying across their laps sideways.

For someone he couldn't see, she sure was a familiar sight.

Eraserhead sat behind Vlad King's bus driver position, overlooking both classes with tired eyes.

"So Midoriya," Tsu croaked next to him. "Boy Midoriya... I didn't get a chance to ask what your quirk was." Many eyes landed on him, as he noted a particularly angry set of eyes in the back of the bus.

"It's a powerful stockpile quirk. It took so long to stockpile energy for me to use that I thought I was quirkless for most of my life." The lie flowed naturally from his lips. Many were baffled at his nonchalance of admitting to being quirkless for a large part of his life, but was something the whole of him agreed to.

"You so agile with your moves in the battle trial." Ochako said. "Who'd you learn from?" Izuku paused to think about his answer.

"I didn't really have a teacher for all of that, I just watched a lot of hero fights growing up and applied what I knew." He could feel Bakugo grinding his teeth from the back of the bus. Oddly, he noticed Eraserhead stir a little from his explanation, but paid it no mind. "If I could use all of my stockpiled energy, I'd end most fights in one punch anyways."

"So kind of like All Might? Ribbit?" Tsuyu hit the nail on the head. Izumi made a startled jolt, but Izuku, the one who should have been most affected, was calm.

"Mmm maybe." Izuku shrugged. "But All Might doesn't break his body if he goes over his limits, if he even has any."

"That's true. Your arm looked super messed up at the end of the exam." The invisible girl said, or at least he assumed it was her since no one else's mouths were moving. "Toru Hagakure, by the way. Your sister talks about you in class a lot. Says you could help us all with quirk control too." Izuku beamed at his sister, who looked away in embarrassment. Being called out for praising your brother, even if deserved, was still embarrassing.

"I can help as much as I can, but professionals would still be better than me. Speaking of quirks, is yours just invisibility or some form of light refraction, Hagakure?" Toru shrugged.

"Dunno. Just popped out one day looking like whatever was behind me. Makes it hard to get haircuts, makes it harder for the barbers to clean it too." Everyone on the bus laughed as it came to a stop. Vlad King got up and announced their arrival. As everyone stepped off they bus, they all took a moment to admire the gargantuan building in front of them.

"Jeez did we go to Universal Studios Japan?" Said by a girl from 1-A. Izuku noted the auxiliary jacks at the end of her earlobes.

"Nope! This is the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, owned and built by U.A!" A new cheery voice took them by surprise. "Welcome to the USJ students!" It was an astronaut, or at least, someone in an astronaut costume.

"Oh my gosh its Thirteen! She's my favorite hero ever!"

"So it really is Universal Studios Japan!"

"Enough!" Aizawa barked. "Get the students inside Kan." The bulky man just nodded and waved for both classes to follow him. "Thirteen, where's All Might?" Izuku decided to let his eyes linger a bit longer on the conversation as he drowned out the noise around him.

"Ah, he got caught up with some crime this morning." Thirteen said as she held up 3 fingers from, her right hand. Izuku instantly understood that All Might had reached his limit for the day. "He's resting in the lounge on the main campus."

"Typical of that oaf." Aizawa grumbled. "Right, lets get to teaching them." Both teachers started to tail the mixed class as they watched the varied reactions to the inside of the dome roofed building. Thirteen took this as her sign to call attention to the students, making them face the front door.

"Ok everyone! Since I am the main instructor for today, as well as the main user of this facility, I have a few ground rules for you guys. About five of them. Oh wait, make that six. Actually, seven. Oh no, eight is important too!" The students all giggled at the space hero's antics.

Izuku felt a twinge in the back of his mind. It took a few seconds to realize Thirteen was still talking, but he couldn't register a single word she was saying. The small twinge became a torrent of pain that hammered on his temples. No one noticed him take a few steps back. The hairs on his arm were standing on end under his gray costume and he felt claustrophobic under his mask. He took it off, feeling a wave of sweat careen down his face. His breathing was rugged as he struggled to stand.

DANGER. FIGHT!

Suddenly, one of the 1-A students with a headpiece yelped in pain. "What the-?! Why'd my headphones just blow up!" Izuku, at the back of the crowd, took a step back towards the stairs and whirled his vision to the center of the building.

The entire world fell silent around him.

An inky black cloud of mist had formed in front of the fountain down the stairs. The another, and another, until there were 8 separate mist clouds in the center of the building. These clouds started to spew out people though, and that's when Izuku realized it was a portal quirk of some kind. His stomach was twisted into several different knots as his body started to shake. The clouds were familiar. Dangerously so. His other half was filled with a whirlwind of negative emotions.

"Woah, is this part of the training? You guys got hired villains?!" Kirishima said uneasily. All the teachers present were stumped and turned their attention to where Kirishima was looking. Alarm bells blared in their heads as they got prepared.

"No! Get back! These are real villains!" Aizawa shouted, dropping his goggles around his face. "Midoriya get back here!"

He couldn't hear the command, not when he was so fixated on the portals and the last man to step out of them.

The creature with the exposed brain and bird like face was terrifying in its own right, that was a given. When it looked like a mutated All Might on an impressive amount of steroids, it was hard not to find a scary feature. No, Izuku's eyes were dead set on the head of shaggy blue hair that stepped out next. Hands covered the mans body as he was cloaked in a black trench coat.

Instantly, his other half was filled with the most drowning rage possible. It choked his senses, all he could see was red. Ironically, all red could see was him, as the hand covered villain stared down the lone Izuku at the top of the stairs.

Izuku was choking on a lack of air. When was the last time he had taken a breath. It didn't really matter when his body refused to listen to him. All commands were for naught as he was stuck there, frozen in time. The rage swirled in his body, consuming him, removing all other feelings except the desire to fight.

To kill.

Izuku let out a bloodcurdling scream as One For All exploded around him. Everyone present, hero and villain, watched in awe as a black mass started to rise from Izuku's body. Outlined in green, it converged, cocooning Izuku in its energy.

"Midoriya!" Vlad King ran to his student, reaching a hand out to recover the boy. Instead, a bolt of red lightning surged from the ball as he tried to make contact, shocking him and making him pull back.

A void swirled around him, the pounding in his head was constant, like sledgehammers against his skull, only these hammers were being swung by All Might himself. A rush of emotion and finally the memories.

Each one was crystal clear.

"SSSSHHHHIIIGAAAARRRRRAAAAKIIII!" The cocoon gave way, simply forming around Izuku's body instead of all around him general area. Tendrils of energy sprouted from his back and arms as he was completely cloaked in darkness. The veil of black lowered from his face, revealing bloodshot green eyes. They were filled with an immeasurable amount of hatred, pointed all towards one man. Izuku took one step forward.

Gone.

No one was able to track where he had gone, but everyone saw the shining ball of black and green falling towards the center of the building.

"I'LL BURY YOU AGAIN!"

The attack on the USJ had yet to begin, interrupted by the counterattack of Izuku Midoriya.

End Notes

Here it is, a true to God miracle, a third chapter with more on the way. This was definitely a good place to stop. I feel like I repeat names too much, that has to be my weakest point. I'd say my strongest point is dialogue. I am a social wreck, but I think about fantasy conversations so much that these feel natural to write.

300 some views at the time of writing the end notes. Thanks for looking, thanks for following. No ones taken a crack at what's going on yet but maybe you're just here for the mystery.

I said in chapter one that I'd reveal the mystery at the USJ, but after thinking it through, it's been pushed back. And I won't be saying when, because that spoils the fun doesn't it?

I promise I have arcs for everyone, and all important conversations will happen with Izuku. No one is going to be useless here. They're all too important to the character I have.

To the one review I have so far; Yes, this story is meant to be confusing. I'm trying in earnest to drop clues without dropping everything at once. It's hard when you know how things are supposed to go though.
