Izuku crashed into the middle of the villain pack like a falling star. Every thug took a weary step back, eyeing the screaming teen as the tendrils of energy waved around from the force of landing. All of them were armed and all of them were ready to attack.
None of them were prepared to defend.
"Chimera: Kraken!" Izuku started moving upwards, the black energy surrounding him pushing him into the sky. Like the legend of the Kraken itself, the pillar of energy split into multiple tendrils, giving Izuku the appearance of the beast of legend. One by one, the tendrils started to pick up the thugs, en masse, and brought them into the sky. Izuku was running off of pure instinct, was running on it well before actually, and could only do what his body demanded.
Stop these villains.
Izuku had his arm held high, commanding the tendrils through the movements of his arm, before he brought it down in one swift motion. The group of villains screamed in terror before it was silenced with the crash of their bodies hitting the concrete. A large amount of blood started pooling in the crater. Izuku should have been concerned of their status in this world, but he was an uncaring, unfeeling whirlwind of hatred right now.
Serves them right.
The thugs tried to crowd him, some using their quirks to try and take down the demon in front of them. All efforts were for naught, as Izuku simply swatted most of them away with his tendrils. Villains were flung in multiple directions. One even had the unlucky circumstance of being flung directly in front of Izuku's eyesight, blocking him from the hand covered leader.
That didn't last.
A tendril shot up from the ground, gripping the thug around his entire head. The force he was brought down with created an outline of his body in the stone walkway, scarring the facility with even more wicked blood.
"I'LL KILL YOU!" It was a phrase he was familiar with. It had been hurled at him by men twenty times his size but was quick to fall through. This time though, Tomura Shigaraki took these words as true. This teen brat just mowed through his NPC army as if they were nothing but fodder. Well, they were, but they weren't supposed to be fodder to a damn child.
"Young master, perhaps the Nomu would prove effective?" The portal next to him, his servant Kurogiri, proposed. Tomura nodded.
"Nomu!" The black beast at his side twitched, awaiting its orders. "Kill this brat in our way." The beast shrieked with delight as it charged forward. Tomura, as skilled as he was, was hardly able to track the movements of the engineered monster.
So imagine his shock when the teenager surpasses all those senses.
"MOVE!" It was a command filled with venom as it was delivered. Tomura watched the violent sparkles of green light mutate into a dark red, as they became bolts of lightning that jumped off of the boys body. So entranced by the colors of power, he didn't notice the arm that was rocketing towards the head of the Nomu. A violent crack shattered the air as a high pressure gust of wind blew debris all around the field. Tomura didn't flinch and kept his eyes on the now ascending body of the Nomu. He had to crane his neck to keep track of it. When he had his head turned as much as he could, only then did he register that Izuku was already above the Nomu's airborne body, a fist covered in black energy, surging with red lightning charged and ready. With a scream, he forced himself down with the Nomu, his fist slamming into the superweapons cranium.
The crater created by the collision generated enough force to shatter the reinforced glass of the USJ's overhead dome. Sparkles of glass reflecting light as they came down, showering every unconscious thug, and the two conscious men that stood on the battlefield, glares affixed in a deathmatch.
The light the glass provided was enough to cast clarification on what Tomura was staring down.
It was a monster. A monster with his head in his sights.
Tomura's gaze went to the Nomu. It hadn't so much as twitched when it landed in the ground. "Nomu, get up and fight." The command fell on dead ears. The body simply lay there, limp. "Nomu! Now! Get up an-" A portal had opened up in front of Tomura. It confused him enough to make him jump back. What he saw gave him a new feeling.
Fear.
Izuku, suspended mid-air, his left arm buried in the depths of the portal, while the end of his fist was striking his own face through an adjacent portal. The sheer rage on his face was still undisturbed, his green eyes, clouded by rage and focused only on him. A snarl escaped his lips as he retracted his hand from his face, twisting his body over the portal with the help of his energy tendrils. His right arm was pulled back, energy swirling around the appendage as he prepared to strike.
Kurogiri acted fast, opening a full body portal from behind for Tomura to step into. It was a wordless strategy they had worked on for years. In an instant, Tomura stood next to the warp gate user, watching the attack meant from him destroy the ground he stood on prior. Shards of rock flew every which way, but any that were thrown his way were absorbed and relocated by Kurogiri. Another portal was at the ready for him to attack from. He watched the black cloud form behind Izuku, and swiped his hand through. There was contact, he could see it.
But Izuku stood. Unharmed. Rage unwavering.
"You stupid bastard." He growled in rage. Tomura quirked an eyebrow at this behavior. "Forgot you can't decay pure energy?" This was a true surprise to be held.
"Haah... you seem to know me boy. What kinda cheat codes are you using to get info on me? You a data miner?" Tomura scratched at his neck, annoyed at the way this teenager mocked him by living.
"I hate you." Izuku stepped forward. "I've always hated you. I'll never stop hating you for what you've done. I'll turn you into a corpse!" Lightning swirled around Izuku as blood started to pour from his head. "ALL OVER AGAIN!" Izuku leapt into action once more. The black energy surrounding his hands turned into a claw as he swiped at the two combatants in front of him. Both teleported away, as Izuku left trenches in the ground. His feral rage had him looking in every direction for his target.
A portal opened from the ground, Tomura jumping through it, hand outstretched aiming for Izuku's face. Just centimeters from making contact, the energy shot out and gripped Tomura's arm like a vice. He gasped in shock, which was followed by a shriek of pain, as the tendrils squeezed as hard as they could. There was a crack, but before Izuku could see what it was, he was sent away from his assailant through a portal.
Tomura clutched his right arm which was now bent in an odd shape in three separate locations. This boy had power and had no problem with next to lethal force, which was evident with the kill he scored on the Nomu.
"Kurogiri get us out of here now!" He barked at his servant. Kurogiri wordlessly opened up a portal.
"DON'T RUN FROM ME YOU COWARD!" Izuku jumped with an incredible force, his clawed hand tore through the air, lighting ripping off of the surface. He swiped with a ferocity unmatched in his previous bouts, aiming to rip Tomura's head from his body, but the strike met nothing.
Tomura was gone, and with him, any chance at vengeance reborn.
Izuku dropped to his knees as he powered down. His breathing was ragged and wet. He could feel his throat burning and dry, but soaked in blood at the same time. His arms were limp. Dislocated, that was a first. They were strained and swollen, pushing against his bodysuit but he couldn't make an effort to massage them. His eyesight was beginning to blur but this allowed the memories to flow.
He saw it all. Battles, places and people. Heard the names of combatants and cities, of deceased and injured. Lastly was all of the feeling. He felt the sorrow, the rage, the hatred, the despair, the grief and the hope. The hope was so pitiful however, it almost wasn't there.
More than anything though, he felt the blood, spilling, overflowing around him and stained on his hands. The center of it all.
His well had run dry. He couldn't tolerate the screaming of his body. As he fell forward, limp and unresponsive, he heard one last scream.
"IZUKU!"
He heard all of the screams.

"U.A reports that only one student was reported as injured during the attack on their U.S.J facility. Many news outlets are claiming this is a flagrant lie, while others are defending U.A for its quick response time. The principal, Nezu, has only said that the news can believe what they want, but the reports are a fact. And that if they had a problem with it, they could take it to court. It is unknown who the assailants were or what they were after, but most agree that it is unimportant and are giving their kindest wishes to the one or many injured during the attack, depending on what story they believe. Back with the studio-"
The T.V was turned off as a remote controller hit the wall. In a fit of rage, the bandaged man watching it knocked it off of its stand, causing the screen to shatter and spark with electricity.
"Electricity..." he grumbled. A memory of what had happened that day flashed in his mind. Red lightning, burning with hate and rage. "I NEVER WANNA SEE ELECTRICITY AGAIN!" He put his flaking hand on the sparking T.V and watched as it simply turned to dust. It was a twisted sense of catharsis, but Tomura's main target of rage couldn't be reached right now, lest he want to break another arm.
Speaking of said broken arm, he looked down at the cast. Sensei had said it would serve as a reminder, to not charge an opponent who so clearly dominates you in a battle. The brick on his arm would remain for the next month. As easily as he could have decayed it away, his arm was fully healed at this point thanks to the magic of surgery and healing quirks, but he didn't want to incur the anger of his teacher. This lesson had a purpose, and he would learn something from it.
He'd learn just what it takes to beat the boy named Izuku Midoriya.

Blackness surrounded his vision.
It wasn't the same rage filled energy that he had experienced in the battle, however. This one was calm and serene, as if trying its hardest to put his soul at ease. He could finally relax.
"What the hell are you doing to the kid?! Your decisions are going to kill him!" He would have relaxed, but hearing voices in a seemingly endless void was much more intriguing than any sleep he might try to catch up on.
"I agree with five here. This was an attack led by emotion instead of a coordinated strike." The voice was rough and angry, but it was directed at someone else.
"I had to do something." Now that was an interesting voice. It was so familiar but he couldn't name it. "He- he was there! A-and he!"
"'He' was a non-threat at this point in time. The vessel could have grown stronger to overcome him without having to face... this!" He could almost envision the exasperated throw of hands. The voice was also soft, like the last, but identifiably female.
"All of you be quiet. I can sense his stirring presence. Especially you. You stay hidden." Was he talking about him? Could whoever he was hearing feel he was there with them? "Yes, we know you're there now. Your panicking in whether we could or couldn't sense you was the greatest alert we could have gotten." He heard a chorus of laughter. So question he thought was answered, perfect. He didn't have to figure out how to talk. Another chorus of laughs resounded. "I have very little time to speak to you, so remember this. What you just went through will have profound impacts on One For All. Don't be afraid to wield this quirk the way you want to. It's your choice." That was certainly vague. Yet before he could say anything, he found light pouring in from above.
" -take it to court. It is unknown who the assailants were or what they were after, but most agree that it is unimportant and are giving their kindest wishes to the one or many injured during the attack, depending on what story they believe. Back with the studio with Kumo."
"Thank you Mikasa. There you have it citizens. U.A attacked but standing tall in the fallout."
U.A was attacked. That's right. He was there. He stopped it.
He alone, stopped an organized assault on U.A
The thought would have floored him had he not been bedridden at the moment. He could hear a heart monitor to his left and could feel an I.V in his arm, which was bound in a heavy cast, as was most of his body. He definitely had a mummy costume at the ready for Halloween this year.
Izuku looked out the window. It was raining. The soft pitter patter of the raindrops against the window soothed him as his gaze went downwards. He spotted a head of green hair, laying itself on top of his bed.
It was then that Izuku noticed how free he felt. For the first time since he inherited One For All, he felt an invisible weight had come off of his shoulders. There was no anxiety ridden tick in his nature, no storming cloud of confusing emotions, just clarity. Did this mean he was back to 'normal?' He sighed as much as he could, but his mouth, his entire head actually, was heavily bandaged.
He tried to think back on what happened in the U.S.J, apparently not sick of trying to relive memories. All he felt was that foreign rage burbling in his blood. He took another glance at his sister at his bedside. He wished he could run his hand through her hair and let her know that he'd be alright.
"What the hell did I do..."
-{ ~ }-
School was back in session after a three day weekend. Izuku had spent two and a half of those comatose in the hospital. The clouds hadn't let up over the weekend so it was particularly gray when he arrived at school that day. The halls were alive with talk about the U.S.J, but no one seemed to know what had truly happened.
Izuku opened the door to class 1-B, and all conversations seemed to stop. Vlad King was already at the podium today. Izuku checked his phone, double checking to make sure he wasn't late.
"Hey Green." Setsuna spoke to his left. She looked concerned, her eyes seemed to fix themselves to his arms and torso, unable to leave. "You... um... are you doin alright? L-like mentally." Izuku looked around the class, really taking in their faces this time. Most everyone had a look of worry on their face, even Kodai. Which meant something big had happened after he saw the mist for the first time.
"I'm fine, Set. In fact I can't remember what happened at all." Everyone seemed to jump at this information, but no one jumped harder than their teacher.
"I see. Everyone, class today will be free period until the teachers come back. Midoriya, come with me to Nezu's office." Kan had pulled out his phone to alert the other teachers that they would be having an emergency meeting.
The walk there was filled with tension, mostly for the teachers. Izuku was obviously worried he had done something wrong in his blackout, but the reports had said he was the only injury from the attack, so he clearly did something good. At least, he hoped.
Finally, the student and his escorts reached the large wooden doors of the principal's main office. Aizawa opened it, letting everyone in before he closed it and locked it. There were chairs already arranged in a half circle, all facing a single chair in the center, right in front of Nezu's desk. He saw All Might too, in his buff form, standing behind the principal. Izuku got the obvious message and sat down, slinging his bag to the floor.
"Well young Midoriya, let me just say I am glad to see you out of the hospital and recovering." Izuku nodded before he felt the tension rise once more. "With the good stuff out of the way, let's get to the more grim. Obviously you're here to know what went down at the U.S.J." Izuku nodded. "Kan here tells me that you had spotted the portal quirk user first while Thirteen was going over the ground rules of the U.S.J. Do you remember this?"
"I remember seeing the mist yes." Izuku swallowed. This felt more like an interrogation, what with Nezu's beady eyes and very serious stature in comparison to his jovial attitude the rest of the time he had seen him. "After that I..." Izuku choked on the air slightly. His other emotions were back from the break they took, but not nearly as prevalent. Yet every time he thought about the hand covered villain, they surged with an intensity he had never felt in himself before. "After that, I saw the guy covered in hands and just... blacked out. That was when I woke up in the hospital." Izuku omitted the dream and the vestiges of One For All from his retelling, but he had a plan.
"Well... at least we know where to start." Nezu coughed. "Aizawa recalls one of his student's pieces of equipment breaking and another student, Kirishima, pointing out the arriving group of thugs and alerting the teachers to the danger. He made a call to get you students behind him and the other teachers present but when he called for you, you didn't move." Izuku looked at the pro with a side glance. Aizawa just looked away. "After that, you started screaming and you had cocooned yourself into a dome of pure energy. Is that another facet of your quirk?"
"I'll talk about it's true nature after I learn what happened, if that's okay principal." The chimera principal quirked an eyebrow, while All Might shifted uneasily.
"Very well. Moving on, Vlad King, under the impression that you were being attacked for being away from the group, reached out in an attempt to pull you from the energy dome, but was struck by red lightning when he got close. This is in line with what we already know about your quirk, so my only assumption was that it was a defense mechanism more than it was a deliberate attack." Izuku winced as he looked at his homeroom teacher. He looked down to see his left glove had been removed, in place of bandages and a cooling pack. Kan seemed to notice the look of guilt flashing over his face and just waved his hand.
"It's alright, Midoriya." Izuku could only stare harder.
"After that, you screamed a name and bounded off into the fray of battle. Can you remember the name?" How could he forget. It was etched so deeply into his memories they drew blood.
"Shigaraki. Tomura Shigaraki." Izuku said with a dry throat. He noticed the looks the teachers gave each other.
"Perfect. Now we have a name." Nezu smiled, a genuine one. He wasn't looking to scare the student in front of him, he wanted to find the man who dared attack them. "It was thanks to your quick actions, young Midoriya, that 57 villains were captured that day. Fortunately for you, there was only 1 casualty." Izuku's blood turned ice cold.
He killed someone.
"I know that look well, Midoriya." Aizawa spoke up this time. "It isn't the same case. Please just listen."
"Indeed, you should listen to Aizawa. The casualty reported was that of the 'Nomu' as one of the students called it. Apparently they were able to get the name from focusing on the conversation between the portal user and Tomura Shigaraki. This 'Nomu' was sent to a lab for study and while it once contained human D.N.A, it was so heavily modified that it couldn't be considered a human. From what little data was extracted, the Nomu held multiple quirks, including but not limited to, a super regeneration quirk, a shock absorption quirk and a super strength quirk. The H.P.S.C has let out a warning across the hero network that these Nomu are to be classified as biological weapons and lethal force has been authorized against them. Fret not, you are not a criminal nor a murderer." The blood started to flow again as Izuku let out a breath he didn't know he'd been holding. "Thirteen, if you could."
"Yes principal." The space hero dragged her chair close to Izuku's. Izuku couldn't help but take in Thirteens features as she approached. Without the mask, she was a very beautiful woman, and her presence, being a rescue hero, put him at ease. "Midoriya, we need to know why you knew this villain. One of the students even said you knew his quirk in some way, as you taunted him about not being able to 'decay' pure energy." Izuku sighed. It was showtime.
"Nezu, how many people in this room, other than you and All Might, know about One For All?" Bewilderment across the entire room.
"Midoriya! You can't jus-" All Might spoke but stopped the moment Izuku rapidly stood up, dropping his chair in the process. Nezu simply watched with intrigue.
"I know I've only had it for a week, but there's something dangerous on the horizon, Yagi." He heard a few inhales at the casual name drop of All Might. "They need to know. I- I need their help! The things I saw, the memories, All Might, I know so much more of what can happen, what will happen, if I don't get the help I need right now to STOP ALL FOR ONE!" Izuku was out of breath as he shouted that last name. All Might went pale as he gripped his injured stomach.
Nothing was said for a few moments. Quietly, the room watched the panting forms of master and pupil, a tiny clash of ideals between the number one hero, and the hero trainee.
"I know what they are All Might. I don't know how they came to be, but the memories? They're memories of the future. I know it sounds crazy, but it's true." Still not fully informed, the room waited for the personal debate to settle down. Nezu simply wrote something down on a notepad. "I- when... when I went to take the exam, I recognized faces that I had never seen in my life. I felt nostalgia and warmth from them. In class, people I had never met, never had a hope of meeting, made me feel like I was seeing and old friend. And my use of One For All, it's not mine. It's instinct drilled into my body through someone else's efforts. I was a pansy before. A meek stuttering mess who was scared of everything. I used to piss myself talking to girls in any way, hell I never even swore before. But now?! These... memories, they're of someone else and they changed me." Izuku finally admitted the thing that had been scaring him the most. It was fear. Fear of losing control over his own body, of being pushed to the sideline and never being able to see the light of day as himself.
"When you put it like that..." Aizawa started. "I watched your battle trial footage kid. That move you did with the capture tape was distinctly a move I would do. It wasn't something you could've just watched online since I've got close to no notoriety." Aizawa scratched his head. "I remember your conversation on the bus. Most students, even some of the teachers here," he said fixing a glare at Midnight a couple seats down from him, "they think I don't care about you kids. But I do. I want to make sure you guys make it through the year and don't end up dead before you graduate." Izuku's other half panged with regret and sadness. "So as long as you explain what this 'One For All' is, I'll be in your corner problem child."
"When I saw you panicking, I thought you were having a normal student reaction to being attacked by villains." Thirteen said, dragging his attention from Aizawa's dark eyes to Thirteen's shimmering hazel. "But when you jumped into battle like it was second nature, I realized it was a P.T.S.D episode and that fighting Shigaraki was your coping mechanism. We're here to help, it's our job as heroes, so please explain your problems so we can help you." Thirteen pulled Izuku into a hug, one he melted into as he felt himself cry.
He had received physical support from All Might for ten months, and he would always be eternally grateful for the training, but emotionally, Izuku needed this. Support from pros who weren't all about punch first, ask questions later. He was an emotional person, add teenage hormones into it and he was very prone to breakdowns.
"Nezu, I think you can explain One For All better than I can r-right now." Izuku wiped the stray tears and rocked the sniffles away. Watching the teachers react to the tale of One For All was certainly a treat. Nezu even retold the slime villain incident, the thing that put Izuku on the path to One For All, which Aizawa responded to about as well as one could imagine.
"Damn illogical problem child."

Izuku was walking with Vlad King back to 1-B. The other teachers went off to their own respective classes leaving the 1-B natives to a peaceful walk back.
"Y'know Midoriya, I was never a super popular hero. People thought my blood quirk was gross and unheroic. Didn't help that my name has Vlad in it." Both men chuckled at the observation. "You've got a lot of weight on your shoulders, and knowing the future consequences makes it worse." Izuku just nodded. "I think you should tell both classes when you're ready. The more people that can help carry your burden, the better."
"I should have explained this in the meeting, but it never should have been one mans burden." Izuku thought heavily, remembering all the cold moments in the future, of the wielders time alone in battle, fighting the antithesis of his own power. "All Might isn't wrong for what he did, carrying the world in his hands the way he did, but it was still wrong in the long run. People rely on him so much that without him, society crumbled and tried hastily to resurrect a new Symbol of Peace." Izuku, despite gaining so much clarity, couldn't see who the wielders after All Might were. "And that future, where they had to rely on a single person, one last time, was still utterly devastated in the end. I... I think U.A should try to promote the next generations as the true symbols of peace, and not just send the best of the best as the poster boy." Izuku paused as he stared out the window, opposite of his classroom door. Vlad King thought about the speech, looking directly at Izuku. It was strange. Everything about him was strange obviously, but for so much wisdom to come out of a boy just starting his hero career, it was something you saw once in a lifetime.
"I'll pass that up the food chain." Vlad King smirked as he opened the class door, ushering Izuku inside.
"Midoriya!"
"Green!"
He really liked that he could distinguish Setsuna's greeting from the rest of his classmates. Maybe she only latched to him because of their hair color, but she really was a caring friend. Speaking of caring...
"Big guy!" Setsuna said, jabbing a finger into Vlad King's massive chest. "If Green gets in trouble at all, this whole class and every person we can round up from 1-A will go frickin ballistic on this school ya hear me?!" Vlad King looked down, a look of wild amusement on his face. Looking up he saw that, indeed, all of the students there agreed, the same look of protectiveness radiating off of their bodies and from their eyes.
"Midoriya, you've truly outdone yourself." He muttered to the boy. Izuku blushed heavily. "He's not in trouble, young Tokage, and I'll let this threat slide for now." Setsuna, seeming to finally register just what she'd done fanned her face as she matched skin tones with Izuku.
"S-sorry about that, Kan-sensei..." She managed to wheeze out before turning back to her seat.

Izuku finally had alone time for the first time in what felt like a long time. Izumi had stayed with her 1-A friend group to get some extra training in and his mother was working overtime. Izumi extended the invite to him but he needed this time away to really think.
He knew the dream in the hospital was One For All related. He knew that he had spoken with the vestiges and had heard their conversation. He needed to get a grip on this quirk, his quirk.
He had yet to tell his sister, and he doubted she had time to think about it, but her theory on One For All stockpiling more than just power was proven right. The awakening of Blackwhip was just the beginning, he knew it to be true from the future visions.
His use of 'Chimera' during the fight was shoddy, he could tell. Blackwhip only awakened because of the amount of rage that was pumping in his blood. If not for that, the awakening of the dormant quirk would have been postponed for a much later date. He'd have to train with the quirk when he wasn't being fueled by someone else's hatred.
The black tendril circled his finger. It didn't feel like anything, no sensation of contact on his skin, even as it danced upon the appendage. He stared hard at the new quirk, channeling that rage in small doses. The whip obliged and began to curl in the way he mentally forced it to. Eventually, Izuku let the energy flow stop, and the tendril sputtered into wisps.
'So I've gone from quirkless to having two quirks and a bunch of ghosts living in said quirk. Wonderful.' He felt a positive feeling in his other half, as if it was agreeing with him, but he ignored it for now. The conversation with the teachers and his small breakdown during it had opened his eyes to his true feelings about the foreign ones. 'I'm scared of what you can do, not what you are. Be honest with me, show me more of why you're here.' He internally conversed. The emotions didn't respond. It was worth a shot.
The doorknob clicked. Izuku turned around to see Izumi, hair in a ponytail and her face drenched with sweat. She wasn't alone though. Behind her, Ochako looked queasy and equally sweaty and behind her was Mina, who was leaning on the railing outside.
"You girls um... need some water?" As fast as their tired bodies allowed them to, they stumbled into the apartment, diving for the adjacent space next to Izuku on the couch.
"Yes!" All three moaned out at the same time. Izuku grabbed a few bottles from the fridge and put the cold bottles on the necks of Mina and Ochako, who groaned at the cooling sensation. Izuku then had the bright idea to deliver Izumi's bottle with Blackwhip. Focusing hard, the tendril grew from around his wrist and gripped the bottle from the bottom. It was brought in front of Izumi, who didn't question the appendage made of pure energy, instead opting to tear the top off the bottle and greedily drink its contents.
"How was the training?" Izuku asked. He at least had a good idea of how hard they trained today, given that they looked like death just sitting on the couch.
"Awful, but- huff- effective." Ochako wearily replied. She rolled her head back, staring up at the ceiling to try and force her nausea down. She didn't need to embarrass herself in front of her two friends and one of said friends brother. Izuku on the other hand, aware of some information from his memories, decided to make a risky play. Gently, he put one of his hands near Ochako's neckline and started to apply pressure in a certain area. The effect was instant as she signed in relief. "H-hey, not that I don't appreciate that, but how'd you do that?" Ochako asked, a little more red faced than when she walked in.
"Well I know that some pressure points in the body, especially around the neck, help alleviate nausea." He was just as embarrassed about the near intimate contact he was making, but he didn't want to draw attention to it. Mina was much like Setsuna, and he didn't need a teasing storm in his own house.
"Guh... I could go for a massage too Izu-kun..." Mina said. She attempted to giggle but when she did so, the skin of her arms scratched against the couch, causing her to wince. "Ouch! Ouch! Okay universe I get it, no teasing Izuku." Izumi laughed at the prospect.
"Skin irritation right, Mina?" He watched the pinkette nod. Taking his hands off of Ochako's neckline, much to her disappointment, he took strides towards the hallway bathroom. "I'll go look for some aloe under the sink. Shouldn't be too hard."
All three girls heard the bathroom door open and a grunt of effort to get down under the sink. Mina struck up the conversation first.
"Gettin handsy with Izuku in his own house, bold move Mocha!" Ochako just whined in embarrassment. "Seriously though, your brother is so sweet Izumi. He didn't even ask what we needed other than the water, he just did it for us." She paused, thinking more about his actions. "He did a lot for us..." The implication wasn't lost on the other two girls.
Indeed, Izuku had done a lot, which was why the 1-A students came together to form training groups. The attack on the U.S.J had opened their eyes. The only one to make a move was Izuku, everyone else had frozen, even battle junkies like Bakugo and Kamikiri. No one but Izuku and the pros were ready. Collectively, they all agreed they'd train harder to be able to prevent another situation like that. To not feel helpless while a peer did all the work for them.
"I'm scared for him." Izuku said softly. The two girls shifted to get a better look at the Midoriya girls face. They saw tears starting to form in front of her emerald eyes. "Wh-when he fell over, I was just so scared. I was always the one with the quirk and yet..." A lone tear fell, staining her cheek with a wet line. "Mom always told me to protect him, but I couldn't even do that in middle school. I-I feel so useless as a sister." Ochako's heart shattered at the display, while Mina understood perfectly what the girl was going through.
"You're not, Mi." All three girls jumped at the voice of Izuku behind them. Izumi kept staring forward, however, afraid to face her brother after laying her feelings bare to her friends. "There's a lot you don't know right now, but I'll explain it later. But just know that you're the best sister I could've had. You're there, you fret and worry about me even when I don't want you to, you're there to make jokes and laugh alongside me, when usually no one else will." Izuku leaned over the couch, resting his chin on top of Izumi's head. "I'm sorry for making you worry, Mi. But it's my job as a hero. I should have learned how to protect myself first instead you being asked to do it for me."
Izumi could do nothing but sob. The stress of the attack, the predicament her brother was in with his quirk and now the closest she had ever gotten to knowing his true feelings about his own life were enough to break the tear damn she was holding in. She leaped over the couch and cried into Izuku as he held her for what felt like hours.

Katsuki Bakugo was pissed. Normal of course, but this level of anger was unreal, even for him.
It was especially bad if he could recognize it.
Every waking moment of his time since the start of the U.S.J was filled with Deku. His classmates asked about him, his mom asked about him and worst of all, he couldn't stop thinking about him.
How could he, when he basically saved everyone's lives.
That's what really pissed him off that most.
Izuku fucking Midoriya was the only person, besides the pros, to move under the threat of attack. Deku moved before he could! He would've gone faster if he was ready.
But that didn't change the fact that he didn't move at all. No. The entire time, he was up there, safe behind the pros with the rest of his classmates, watching Izuku tear through the villains like it was just another day.
And the sheer power he put on display broke Katsuki. Never in his life did he ever think Izuku could do the things he'd seen him do. But he did them, and he did them fluidly. He did them naturally. Every movement showed dedication and hard work. Every punch thrown was devastating, pushing the still air around them. Every time Katsuki remembered Izuku's face, he the pure fury on his face was permanently burned into his memories, much like the scars he had left on the boys body throughout the years. Katsuki paused at that thought.
Why, if he had all this power, did he not get any sort of revenge?
Izuku clearly had something against Hands McGee at the U.S.J and was out for blood, if his lack of care for the fodder villains was any proof, so what was stopping him from getting his own personal revenge? He could brutalize him as much as he wanted, it's not like Katsuki could blame him nor report it, he would've had it coming, should've really.
"Am I scared of Deku?"
It was too much for Katsuki to think about. He'd leave it for another day.
But that sick feeling in his gut twisted his emotions until he was too tired to think about it.

"Today you'll be choosing class representatives. I know it's quite sudden and you've barely had time to get to know each other, but with the way things have gone down this year, we're pushing some things ahead of schedule. Also, you guys will be preparing for the sports festival in two weeks, so use your time afterschool wisely. Cementoss always has the Training Dream Land open until six and you can always make a special request when it comes to different training grounds." Kan looked at the class to find them all pretty eager about afterschool training. Usually most first years would just groan at the idea of having to train even more than they already did, but this particular class was all for it.
"Well if were picking a class rep its gotta be Green right?" Set spoke up. Izuku paled slightly at the idea, but looked around the class to find very little argument.
"C-come on, surely someone else is better suited to the job..." Izuku started nervously. His palms started to feel a little clammy as he looked for someone to use as a scapegoat. "L-like Shiozaki! I think she'd be a pretty good rep! Y-yea!"
"On the contraire, Midoriya. I could never pit myself against you in a comparison of leadership ability. You have been blessed with the courage to lead us into battle against evil." She clasped her hands as she finished her sentence. Izuku was at a loss for words.
"So you're all in agreeance that Midoriya should be class rep?" Kan was enjoying the show in front of him, as he had never witnessed a class single out one student to put on the podium so willingly. Usually it was a battle of who could scream louder or a battle royal of rock paper scissors, so it was a very welcome change of pace. "Alright. Midoriya is class rep, then who's going to be the vice representative?"
Instantly the class responded in the usual way, with lots of screaming and lots of argument.
In the end, most of the class asked Midoriya who he thought should be vice rep, but when he didn't give a response, they decided to vote via anonymous ballots, leading to Itsuka Kendo being the vice rep for class 1-B.
"I look forward to working alongside you, Midoriya." Itsuka said standing next to the boy at the front of the class. Izuku himself looked drained but sucked in a deep breath.
"I'll try my hardest for you all. I don't think I deserve it, but if you think I do, then I can't just let you down!" Izuku took a bow, unwilling to face the class, but was forced upwards by the floating hands of Setsuna. The rest of them were clapping and cheering.
"Manly speech Midobro!"
"Way to get out spirits up class rep."
"You very worth being leader! Super awesome!"
There was a tug at his heartstrings, but he couldn't cry, not like this. He needed to be strong in front of them right now, he could cry later when they were sat down as equals. Instead he looked up and smiled.
"Thank you!"
With that, the class began their training for the sports festival.

I want to ask, are the line breaks big enough? I feel like they aren't but if they work then they work and I won't change that.
I can't believe I can actually write a story when I genuinely like the idea that I built up prior. Thanks for the follows, thanks for the views. At the time of writing this, the story is just south, literally teetering on the edge, of 600 views.
I might change the title and make the summary a little more interesting. I was tired when I wrote both and I wanna try some more eye catching words.
Training arc + Sports festival next. We'll see how much I get done. R & R
