If you've read any of my Torchwood drabbles, you'll know I live for variety and anything goes, though my writing is primarily on the fluffy side.

When Ryo's phone rang while he was fixing dinner, he didn't bother checking caller ID; it was his personal mobile, not his work one, so only close friends and family had the number. Besides, it was probably Dee.

"Hello?"

To his surprise, it wasn't his partner. "I got the flowers you sent. Does this mean what I think it means?" Ryo could hear the smirk in Diana's voice.

"Um…"

"You slept with him, didn't you? It's about time. So, how'd it go?"

"Diana!" Ryo liked the sassy FBI agent, considered her a friend, but that question was a bit forward, even for her.

"Relax, I'm not asking for salacious details, although I wouldn't hang up if you wanted to share," she teased. "I just wanted to know if it was a positive or a negative experience, as in, do you think it'll happen again or did you decide gay sex wasn't for you?"

"I… I guess we're dating now, so yes, and thanks. I owe you."

"No you don't. Friends help each other, no strings attached," Diana replied. "He loves you; I hope you realise that. Don't screw this up."

"I won't, I promise. I love him too."

"I know."
