1. Introductions

So this is supposed to some sort of introductory page of sorts, mostly this will just be here to clear up some key questions which the audience (you) are likely going to ask.

Will this follow mass effects cannon? The answer to that is yes, sort off, key events will still occur though will deviate heavily as to how they are shown in the games, and no I won't go into heavy details about such changes as that would be spoiling the story.

Will every Faction be given a power boost? Yes and No, sort off, Basically Factions that I can justify within the law will receive a power boost. Such as the Council Reverse engineering Terran Tech for an Example. But No at the start all of the vallina races will remain the same but as time progresses the Powergap between one faction or another will likely close to some extent.

Why are their space elves? This is something that will come up within the story itself but in general terms the space elves/eldar are basically humans who have gone down a separate evolutionary branch to there earthbound cousins.

Why are their Psykers/Space Wizards? Again the reason as to why they exist will be explained in the story as well as why they seem to be only exclusive to humans/eldar, but from a story stand I added them in to give more legitimacy to the religious ideals of both Terran and Eldari society.

Why is Terran Society so religious? As said before the lore reason for this will be explained in the story, as for why I made them religious was mostly just due to the fact that practically no Mass Effect AU fan fiction ever covers religion, which makes sense the games don't dwell on religion that much except for brief lore excerpts, which to be honest I think was a bit of a missed opportunity to be honest. Plus I did not want the Terran Union to be Space America Number.1293929313 Beacuse it guess honest to god boring when 90% of Sci-fi universes have their humans based on western cultures.

Well that took awhile, any case I'll Probably Release the First Five Chapters, Excluding the Introduction together, to avoid falling into the trap that other authors has when it comes to most AU's ill probably be limiting the Prologue chapters to 5, maybe 6 as to prevent burnout, Granted the Prologue Chapters will be rather long but still, any case I hope you all enjoy the shitstorm you are about to read and of course leave reviews and ill do my best to answer your questions, or criticisms, regarding the story.
