TIMESKIP 1 MONTH

A tiny figure could be seen lying against a tree in a forest, he had spiky blond hair, a black T-shirt, and shorts.

NARUTO POV

It's been a month since the fox began teaching me, I've just learned the tree walking 3 days ago. It took me a long time to learn how to release chakra through my hands and feet, otherwise I could have learned it in a week.

Then, the fox told me to take three days of rest and then meet him in our mindscape; that's what I am doing right now by attempting to meditate. I have been meditating for the past 20 minutes, staying still and silent, just listening to my heart pumping blood.

And then it happened, I lost consciousness.

MINDSCAPE

"Aargh!" I groaned and opened my eyes to see a roof instead of a clear blue sky with a sun that I had seen last time I was awake.

Well, well, well... What do we have here?" said a deep voice. When I heard the voice, I sat up and saw a giant fox in a cage five meters away from me.(5 meters=17 feet)

"so what are you gonna teach me today?" I asked completely ignoring the comment,

"well im gonna teach you how to hunt"

"Why?" I asked, don't get me wrong, I would love to learn how to hunt, but I thought he was only going to teach me ninja stuff.

"Well, when you said how much money the old fart gave you for your allowance, I thought it was too little for a child who doesn't know how to use it," the fox explained.

'when did I tell him how much money I get for my allowance?' I thought confused, 'It doesn't matter right now, there is more pressing issues at the hand' I continued my thoughts. "DID YOU JUST CALL ME DUMB?" I yelled, "well you are probably much smarter tgan average four year old human, but still dumb." said the fox dismissively

'It doesn't matter if some dumb fox calls me dumb' I thought trying to calm myself.

"You're also weak." said the fox Trying to add fuel to the fire, and it worked too, my bangs covered my eyes and my jaw clenched. The fox wasn't done yet, though. It continued, "You're also so ugly that it's no wonder you are an orphan." When the fox said this, it was the final nail in the coffin.

The red chakra began leaking from the cage, 'Yes, this is the opportunity that I've been waiting for,' the fox thought. 'Go berserk and weaken the seal to the point that our job will be easier.'

The red chakra began to surround me, and I didn't care, the stupid fox had just insulted me so much that I didn't even care if it was his power that I had to use to prove my worth to him.

The red chakra formed into a cloak around me, with one tail, I roared and began to run towards the cage at enhanced speed.

When I reached the entrance of the cage, I quickly ran in. I saw that the fox was still lying inside, so I jumped and attempted to slash at its face. The fox just slapped me away like a fly; his slap was so powerful that it caused me to smash into the wall.

"Pathetic, to think you're this weak even when using my power," said the fox, trying to rile me up, and that it did, I came out of the wall, but now with two tails, and I started running at him again, but now with even more speed. When I was close to him, I slashed at his face again with the same results as before.

I came out of the wall again, now with three tails. 'I have to change my strategy, I can't just rush at him.' I thought angrily, and thought up something.

I started running at him again with even more speed than before; when I saw him, I lunged at him. When he was about to slap me away, I yanked myself away by grabbing onto his paw but he just grabbed me with his other paw and threw me at the wall with much more power than before, "It's almost as if you have a brain," the fox taunted.

When I hit the wall, explosion of red chakra occurred, my skin peeled off, and the red chakra replaced it, I grew two more tails on my back, so now I had five tails.

I didn't even know what I was doing anymore; I had no control over my body. I put my tails over my head and started gathering some sort of energy or chakra into a ball, when the ball was about the size of a basketball, I compressed it to a tiny ball and swallowed it, after that I began to become fatter and fatter until I eventually spat it back out aimed to the fox with as much force as i could muster.

The ball wasn't a ball anymore; it was more like a burst of energy. What I hadn't noticed was that the fox was doing the same thing, and he had let it out at the same time I did. There were many differences, though. It was smaller, like he wasn't serious, and when he released it, it stayed as a ball. Even though it was smaller, I knew it was stronger.

When the ball and the burst hit each other, his ball didn't even budge; my burst was destroyed with no difficulty at all. His chakra ball just kept going at me. I put my tails over my head and tried to gather the chakra again, but it was too late. Whwn the chakra ball hit me, I lost consciousness the red chakra began to disintegrated from my body and I started disappearing from the mindscape.

when that happened the fox looked at the seal on the cage, 'yes, a little piece of it has burned off, it seems like that's out of the way now he only needs to improve his chakra control' the fox thought before lying down and taking a nap
