"….Do you want to… sleep in my room?"

He watched her expression slowly change from a curious look to a somewhat shocked stare. That's when he started to regret his decision.

His face slowly turned redder as the seconds passed by and he started stuttering uncontrollably "I- I- didn't mean it as a b-b-bad way!! I thought maybe y-you'd wanna be with s-someone- I- I thought t-that- y-know n-no more n-nightm-mares-" he blushed.

Taruto covered his hands with his face. His heart was doing its thing again, banging wildly against his chest, feelings he couldn't bottle up trying to force its way out. He felt embarrassed. All he wanted to do is make her feel comfortable, maybe she wouldn't get as much nightmares when there's another person present in the room, but Ofcourse his dumbass cannot even say it normally with a neutral expression cause of how flustered he gets. And it's always been like that.

"Nevermi-!"

"yes na no da!"

The young alien boy slowly looked up at her, her eyes were filled with affection. She was lightly blushing as she's trying not to smile so widely.

"Pudding would like to be... with Taru Taru" she half whispered. She avoided eye contact with him as she's nervously fidgeting her fingers.

Taruto's heart was beating so loudly against his chest to the point that Kisshu would've probably heard it all the way from the ship. He suddenly felt nervous, he expected her to deny his request, not to actually accept it.

His entire face was covered in the shade of red as he's avoiding eye contact as well "o-okay..." is all he could let out.

Taruto and Pudding arrived at his bedroom.

He felt so nauseous. He felt like he was close to throwing up these annoying butterflies that were dancing around his stomach.

he slowly entered his room and Pudding followed him inside and he closed the door behind him.

"uhm Taru Taru" It was quiet for so long, when she said that it basically jumpscared him.

"w-what is it?"

"Pudding doesn't have any other mattress so... is Taru Taru okay with Pudding sleeping in the same bed?" She blushed.

Taruto's face exploded "I-I don't mind!!" He blurted out

Pudding casually laid down on the right side of the bed and covered half of her face with a blanket as she waits for him to do the same.

Taruto's vision was blurring and making him dizzy, he pinched himself to see if maybe, possibly that he was in a dream but it was very real. He gulped as he slowly stepped into the bed as well and laid down next to her.

He softly gazed at her only to be met back with 2 big curious eyes looking directly at him. She was so close it was unreal.

Taruto nervously looked at her "w-what's up?"

Pudding shook her head as she redirected her position, laying on her side. her whole body was facing him now. "nothing Noda... it was very nice of Taru Taru to let Pudding stay here with him..." she says

The more he stared into her eyes the more stars and sparkles started showing up into it. "R-Right. It was no problem r-really" he stutters.

There was a moment of silence where the 2 just looked at each other, until Taruto couldn't take it anymore "W-Well goodnight!" He quickly says as he redirects his position so that his back is facing her.

His heart was beating so fast and it was so loud. All he wanted was this, this is what he wanted, to be close to her, but he's so nervous that he can't even look at her. He didn't mean to face his back at her, it naturally happened and now he's too scared to roll back.

A minute passed by, Taruto opened his eyes abruptly as he felt 2 arms embracing him, he suddenly felt more weight on his back.

Taruto's eyes widened "huh-"

The monkey girl was hugging him from behind, he felt her nuzzling her face in his back. The young Alien felt his face slowly redden again. "W-What is she-"

"she was awesome" she whispered

"huh?"

"Pudding's mama. She was Pudding's hero"

He felt her grip on him tighten a little bit more.

"Taru Taru would've liked her"

"..." Taruto slowly rolled back and was now face to face to her, and he saw her face, she was sobbing a little bit.

Taruto felt guilt creeping up in his stomach. He invited her in his room 'cause of her situation and he showed her his back without comforting her. He felt horrible.

"Ofcourse I would've liked her" he softly smiled.

Pudding smiles back.

"I saw pictures of her in the living room" Taruto started "you look just like her" he says as he slowly reaches his hand to her face to wipe the tears away.

Pudding giggles and held him tighter "Pudding's glad she resembles her mama, she's gorgeous! And she could do all kinds of tricks, she taught Pudding all she knows" she grinned

Taruto smiles back at her "Yeah well-" and then he abruptly noticed how close he was to her. He could basically feel her breath on his face, and he didn't even notice how his hand ended up on her waist.

Pudding looked at him confused as he suddenly started stuttering. "What's the Matter Taru Taru?"

"N-NOTHING" he blurted out.

The monkey girl chuckles and nuzzled her face in his chest, which made him fluster even more.

"P-Pudding?"

"Goodnight Taru Taru" she held him even tighter as she drifted off to sleep.

"ohkay. We are cuddling." He thought "We're.. WE'RE CUDDLING?!" Taruto blushed. He looked at her, even asleep she was gorgeous.

Taruto slowly shook his head and gave in, he hugged her back and caressed her back with his hand while nuzzling his face in her hair, which also smelled very good.

with all that happening at once, he also, slowly drifted off to sleep.

with Taruto asleep, Pudding opened one of her eyes and giggled to herself while her face was entirely painted with the colour red.

He was only half asleep when someone accidentally woke him up. He sat up not knowing what was happening

"Oh Pudding's sorry! Pudding didn't mean to wake Taru Taru up" The monkey girl whispers.

"huh?" Still half asleep Taruto forgot where he was. His vision was blurry and he could see the blonde haired girl sitting on the side of his bed.

He could barley hear the monkey girl herself as he's struggling to stay awake. He collapsed back on his pillow giving up. He heard a faint giggle.

" Pudding will see Taru Taru Inna few hours again" she says, but he only heard it faintly.

Then he felt something on his forehead. A soft sensation. He slowly opened his eyes a little only seeing how Pudding slowly retreated her face from his forehead. Then she stood up and left the room.

Being too tired to realise what just happened, he drifted back to sleep.

...(few hours later)

Taruto jolted awake and sat up in his bed, now wide awake. He looked at the clock and saw it was 10:48 am.

He blinked "what... just happened" He only remembers partly what happened in the morning and tried to revive his memory.

"where's- oh right school, that's why she was awake" it all came back to him, he stood up and stretched his body.

"then she said she'd see me again in a few hours and-" his eye widened as he slowly moved his hand to his forehead.

His face slowly reddens "she- wait what" did she just do, what he thought she just did?

The coffee was brewing and it was a sunny day, Zakuro carefully poured in 2 cups and made her way to her bedroom.

With two cups in both her hands she carefully opened the door by pushing it open with her leg. "Here, I got us coffee for our scrambled eggs" Zakuro smiles.

another Mew was in the same room as her, eating on the Wolf Mew's desk "thank you Onee-Sama!" Mint says with a huge smile on her face.

Zakuro proceeds to put down the Coffee's on the table and sat down next to Mint.

Mint beamed with excitement "thank you for letting me sleep over Onee-Sama, I really needed that"

Zakuro shook her head "it is no problem, however you have to stop getting into silly fights with your brother and run over to my house at 2 am" she chuckled.

"Yeahhh I have to apologise to him later..." Mint sighs.

"I don't mind you having here, it's fun, but I wish it wasn't caused by some silly fight between siblings" The Purple haired mew says while carefully drinking her coffee.

Mint nods "I agree, I will do better next time"

Zakuro smiles in return "We should organise a sleep over with all the other Mews, it could be super fun"

"that IS a great idea Onee-sama! But do you think we should also invite the Aliens? I heard you are getting a bit chummy with the brown haired midget and to be honest, I don't want him in my hou-"

BONK BONK BONK*

The two flinch at the sudden sound coming from the bedroom window and look over.

"ZAKURO ZAKURO ZAKURO-" a certain young Alien yelled, knocking harshly on her window. The one Mint was talking about.

Zakuro blinked "oh, Taruto" she says in surprise and stood up to open the window.

Mint sighs in frustration "I jinxed myself?!"

Zakuro opened the window and let the younger alien in, Taruto flew inside and landed on the carpet, Zakuro turned to him "what's the matter Taruto?"

Mint walked over "yeah, and are you okay? Your face is really red"

Taruto put his 2 hands on his cheeks as he blushed and shook his head "N-NEVERMIND THAT- I'M PANICKING, IF YOU COULDN'T TELL ALREADY" He yells

"yea no, it's hard to tell" Mint says while rolling her eyes.

"calm down, what happened?" Zakuro asks

Taruto's eyes averted to Zakuro and then to Mint and then back to Zakuro "can the bird leave?"

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?" Mint yells "Excuse ME I'm not going ANYWHERE. You are the one that barged in on US!" She cockily claims.

Zakuro looked at the blue haired mew and raised her eyebrow "and you barged in on me at 2 am"

"N-Nevermind that, that's not the same " Mint sweat dropped.

Taruto rolled his eyes "whatever, I have to tell Zakuro something that has nothing to do with your ass so give us some privacy why don't you" he spat out.

"Listen here Midget I am NOT leaving Onee-Sama's side"

"I AM NOT A MIDGET-"

"Stop" Zakuro sighs, she softly looks back at Taruto "listen Taruto you can trust Mint with your secret, I tell her most of mine and she's very trustable, trust me" She states.

"yea well, ion like her attitude" Taruto says while glaring at the blue mew.

"well I don't like your attitude either" Mint sighs "Listen I really do not care what goes on in your life so you can you just spit it out what you wanna say already? My coffee is getting cold"

Taruto's blush returned to his face, it was already embarrassing telling Zakuro what's going on, but with the annoying blue bird here it's even more embarrassing. Plus, he didn't like her.

Zakuro looked at him, she was waiting for him to tell them what's going on but he nervously kept squirming around, he was hesitating.

Zakuro sighs "go sit down" she pointed at her bed "it'll relax you more if you sit down"

Taruto slowly nodded and hovered down on the wolf Mew's bed. Zakuro herself sat on the floor while Mint sat down next to Taruto on her bed.

Taruto nervously fidgeted with his fingers "So well-" the smaller alien began.

He began telling them the beginning of when he found Pudding in the kitchen to the end when he woke up in his bed room alone in the morning. Mint wasn't caught up on Taruto's feelings and what was currently happening between him and Pudding so what her face expressed the entire time was nothing but confusion.

Zakuro however had a bright smile on her face that only broaden the further Taruto went in his story.

The hazel eyed alien's face at the end of his story was now fully bright red due to explaining what happened and re-seeing everything through his mind, and the fact this was extremely embarrassing for him. He normally would not tell anyone this because of his stupid big pride but at this point he HAD to tell someone, because he just didn't know what to do next. And the only one he thought of trusting about this topic was Zakuro, it was only unfortunate that Mint was also here.

"So…." Taruto blushed "I Don't know what to do when I face her again this evening…"

Zakuro giggled "so that's the case"

Mint blinked and watched the 2 as she tried to understand the situation "wait HOLD ON." She yelled.

Taruto glared at her "for your information I don't need your stupid advice" he spat out

"that's not the point I'm trying to make here!" Mint yells "YOU and, OUR Pudding, have a romantic THING going on???" Mint says shocked. "Since when?!"

The purple haired mew chuckled "since 2 years ago no?" She asks. Taruto averted his eyes somewhere else but didn't deny.

Mint's eyes spread widely "ONEE-SAMA YOU KNEW OF THIS???"

"it was very obvious if you paid attention to Puddings behaviour these past 2 years... she was talking about how she missed Taruto a lot" Zakuro replied

"y-yeah but- I assumed they were only friends you know-?!" She says waving her hands in the air "this is such a shock!"

"WHATEVER" Taruto says annoyed "HELP ME. I don't know what to DO when I face her again in a few hours in cafe mew mew" he blushed.

"Play it off nonchalantly, just act how you normally do" Zakuro replies "act it off"

Taruto blankly stared at her "have you not met me?? Acting is not in my range of talents" he says annoyed. Mint giggles "yeah, it's obvious" "shut up"

Taruto set his gaze back to Zakuro "I already know that the moment I see her walk in that damned café with the cutest smile known to man that my face will blow up in every shade of red that exists" he sighs "I don't want to make things awkward between me and her..." he says worried

"c'mon" Mint begins "have you not met Pudding? As if it's gonna be awkward when you're with her, she's the queen of socialising" she says "you've got nothing to worry about. Besides you've always been awkward and moody so what's the difference?"

a vein popped on top of Taruto's head "Enough out of you" the young alien sighs "but you're kind of right... I probably have nothin' to worry about... right?" He looks back at his advisor, Zakuro. Hoping she'd agree with what Mint said.

Zakuro slowly nods her head "Like Mint says, you could be the worst criminal in the entire world and Pudding can still manage to have a conversation with you" she reports "I'm sure you'll be fine Taruto" she says, giving him a reassuring smile.

Taruto smiles back and stands up in determination "alright, we are going to socialise!" He yells throwing his fist up in the air.

"... so you're not going to ask her out?" Mint suddenly asks.

Taruto's head turned to her in a speed of light "...what?"

"you cuddled, she kissed your forehead, or at least you think she did, it's very obvious she likes you back why don't you ask her out already, Y'know before misunderstandings happen" she asks.

Taruto lowered his hand "...I don't know.." he sweats "I built up other stuff in my head a lot.. but things like actually asking her to be... y'know.." he says flustered "I- I- never really thought of that..."

"Nevermind that" Zakuro says "go see how it goes with her today, you have all the time in the world Y'know" she says reassuring him.

"R-Right, I- I guess you're right.." The younger alien responds.

It can't go wrong anymore, right?
