The Wills household was buzzing with excitement as each of its members was anxiously preparing for the Tony Awards. Karen had informed her husband the morning of nominations that she wanted Theo and Jacqueline to attend the awards ceremony if they were nominated. So, here they were scrambling to find shoes, bow ties, head phones and tablets. The director had managed to get his son ready and was currently instructing him to pack the tablets and head phones in his backpack. While delegating said instructions, he was also searching for his bow-tie. His wife had requested that he wear a classic tuxedo he assumed paired better with the vintage gown she had purchased but he had yet to see. "I found it!" he yelled out, not wanting to waste anymore of his wife's time. Peeking into their master bathroom, Karen smiled at husband as he worked his fingers trying to get the bow-tie tied. "You need some help?" she asked, knowing he hated bow ties. "If you don't mind, I can never get these bloody things done. Why can't they have clip ties for grown men too?" He grumbled. Letting out a small laugh the brunette set to work her magic. In a few minutes she was done. Admiring the man before her she gracefully wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him in for a soft sensual kiss. "I love you Mr. Wills. You are beautiful." Her lips capturing his once more. The Brit hummed with content. His hands moving slowly down her waist to rest on her hips. He pulled her as close as possible to him. "And you Mrs. Wills, steal my heart away every day. You are breathtaking. " he whispered against her lips. Fours months into her pregnancy, his wife glowed and knowing his child was growing inside of her, made her irresistible to him. "I love you." He said pulling away knowing they needed to finish getting ready. "I will check on Jacqueline." Derek said "Theo is ready so as soon as you put your dress on, we are ready to leave." Ten minutes later he heard the sound of heels on the stairway. Looking up he froze at the appearance of his wife. Her hair straight and dressed in a long black fitted gown with a low dipped front ending just blow her breasts, Derek wasn't sure he had ever seen a sight more stunning. Just as with her other pregnancies, Karen's breasts were much fuller and the low dipped front hugged them perfectly, revealing just the right amount of tantalizingly tanned cleavage. Her stomach still not showing the dress fit every inch of her curves. He was brought out of his trance by the sound of his children. "Wow mummy, you look beautiful." Theo remarked. "You look like a model." His daughter added. "Thank you. You both look very handsome and beautiful as well." She smiled. Looking at her husband she felt herself grow nervous at his lack of comment. "Is it too much?" she questioned. It was then he understood he had failed to say anything. Giving her a roughish smile, he answered "Not at all my love. I apologize for not complimenting sooner but you left me speechless. You, my love, look absolutely ravishing." He said as approached. Leaning into her body, he smoothly placed a kiss on her lips. Whispering in her ear he remarked "You have no idea the effort it is taking from allowing the effect you have on me show." Her face turned a deep red at his words. Pulling away he smiled and in a louder voice stated "alright everyone, are we ready?" "Yes, came the excited response as each child made their way out the door to the waiting limo.

Once at the venue the Wills family was a site to behold on the red carpet. The family was dressed all in black with father and son wearing classic tuxedos. With the younger Wills sporting a new haircut he was the split image of his father. Jacqueline was dressed in a floor length black haltered dress that tied with a bow in the back. Her dirty blonde curls hung loosely in a bun while single strands of curls framed her big brown eyes. She was beautiful. Together they looked as though they walked out of the cover of a glamour magazine. The cameras couldn't get enough of them. Once inside the family made their way to find their colleagues and friends. Theo was the first to spot them and immediately sprinted over to them. "Nana Eileen," he called with a wide grin. The producer turned at her name, a smile gracing her face "hello my darling," she greeted the young boy with a hug. Excitement overwhelming him the little boy began to exclaim in French how he knew they were all going to win. The producer chuckled as Theo's attention then turned to greet his Aunt Julia and Miss Ivy. "Derek, Karen you both look wonderful. It's easy to see why the cameras love you." The producer proclaimed. "Thank you," Karen blushed in response. "You look beautiful as always, darling." The Brit replied in kind with a kiss on the older woman's cheek. Greetings were then exchanged with Julia and Peter as well as Ivy and Darren. Ivy had to admit they were a gorgeous family. When the lights flickered, the group took to their seats. Karen and Derek were surprised by the close attention each of their children were paying to the ceremony. Making himself comfortable on his father's lap Theo much to the amusement of the others at the table shared critic on the various acts as they performed. Jacqueline on the hand was sitting next to Richard holding his hand and singing softly along to the songs she knew. Occasionally giving the editor a shy smile. "I'm sorry about Jacqueline." Karen whispered to Eileen. "Nonsense, Richard adores that little girl. I heard him mentioned to someone the other day in conversation that he was her honorary grandfather." She laughed.

When it finally came time to announce a category for which one of the members at the table was nominated, the twins were at the edge of their seats. When Ivy's name was called as the winner for best featured actress, Darren for best actor and Julia for best book, Jacqueline and Theo clapped loudly with Theo high fiving his father, Peter and Darren. A large grin spreading across his face. When the next category included his father for best choreography, the young boy was beside himself in anticipation. Theo idolized Derek and he loved listening to his father in the theater. Calling his sister over to him, together they held hands and closed their eyes. The adults smiled fondly at the duo. When the announcer called Derek's name, Theo immediately let go of his sister's hand. He ran to his father, who had just released Karen from an embrace and kiss. Derek caught his son and without hesitation lifted him into a tight embrace. Theo buried his face into his father's neck as tears ran down his cheeks, the little boy overcome by emotion. Watching the father and son interaction the group was likewise moved to tears. Karen's heart swelled at the site. She moved to take her son but Derek waved her off. With his son in tow, he made his way to the stage. He thanked the members of the creative team, along with his daughter and wife; and then looking at his son his voice cracking slightly, he continued. "Lastly I'd like to thank my best friend, my son Theo, who shared his trained eye and critic to push me everyday." The audience chuckled but then quickly let out an awe when at his father's words the little boy innocently smiled and said "I love you daddy, you're my best friend too. I'm proud of you." Embracing his son tighter the pair left the stage. When Karen won for best actress, much to the surprise of everyone, Jacqueline yelled out "bloody brilliant." His eyes wide Theo let out an uncontrolled giggle followed by a louder "bravo bloody brilliant!" each moving to hug their mother who was laughing at their antics. "We love you mummy." They said in unison as Karen released them and made her way to the stage. Kissing her husband, she made her way to the stage where she graciously gave her thanks. Ten minutes later and the entire cast and creative team went to the stage including the two six-year-olds as the show won for best Musical."

The night had been a complete success as the production won in every category it was nominated for. In the back poising for pictures and answering questions Ivy watched as the family of four gracefully addressed the media. Theo and Jacqueline quietly and respectfully waiting for their parents to finish. Ever since it was discovered she was the reason the press knew Karen was pregnant, the distance between the family and Ivy grew even more. After the incident the couple also limited their interaction with the cast. Needless to say, the blonde actress was not a favorite among her peers. They were all still cordial but it was evident no one fully trusted her. The only person who was there for her was Darren but even he at times chose to hang out with the others. "A penny for your thoughts." A familiar voice inquired. The blonde smiled. " trust me they aren't worth that much." "You won, why are you so stoic?" Darren asked. Looking once again at the director and lead actress, Ivy spoke "I'm happy but I feel alone. Everyone is congratulating each other and .." "Wait, I saw Derek and Karen hug you." He said before she could finish. "I know but it felt forced. I don't know what else I can do to show I've changed." She answered. "Ivy, we won, all of us. Just be happy. Stop worrying about anyone else. Look I know you want more from Derek but so much has happened, it's going to take time. I do know they are happy for everyone." The male lead stated. "Let's celebrate. There is an after party with our name written all over it." Smiling at her companion Ivy allowed herself to be led away.
