ch:4 cat date

It was early morning over at the beach of Musutafu. Where all the years of trash from the town have been built up, ruining its appeal.

Standing in the middle of garbage wasteland are none other than the number one hero of Japan, and a young boy who is chosen to be his successor. They have just begun the next course of action in guiding the boy to be the next vessel for One for All.

This opportunity of the lifetime meant everything to Izuku, as this actually gave him a chance to become the hero he dreams to be.

But of course, he must face a new problem now.

"A training plan?" Izuku asked. All Might then presented him with a stack of papers with all of the exercise plans for the month.

"That's right, young Midoriya. I have prepared a workout plan for you. With this, you'll be properly prepared to take on my quirk on the day of your entrance exam." He then lends in to whisper, laying down a hard truth on him. "If I'm being honest, this training is going to be harder on you, as we're short on time. We're really squeezing in a tight schedule."

Izuku looks all throughout the schedule to see how much of a schedule is being taken up. "Even my sleep schedule too." Before he could continue further, he then notices that his Saturday schedule was also filled. "Uh, All Might?"

"Yes?"

"Can I not train Saturday? It's an important day for me."

"Oh, well sure. We can update the schedule." All Might was understanding of other people's private life, but curiosity got the better of him. "May I ask, what's the occasion?"

When his hero asked, Izuku couldn't help but bush. "T-There's this girl… and a date."

Without any further detail, All Might gave a proud laugh. "Well, I'll be! Didn't expect this!"

"Yeah, we've known each other since last month, and we decided to start dating this saturday. I'm really hoping to see how things might go. Even though it's my first time going out."

"Then I wish you the best of luck!"

Hearing his words of encouragement from his hero felt really nice to him. "Thanks, I just hope she'll enjoy herself. Given that she's coming all the way here."

All Might notice the last part. "Coming all the way here? What do you mean?"

"Oh, she doesn't live around here, she lives quite far away in another district. We rarely see each other in person, except only through electronics."

After hearing his explanation, face was making quite an awkward expression. "Ohh… this might present a problem."

The sudden shift in tone alerted the green hair boy. "huh? What do you mean?"

(the next morning in Aldera Junior high)

Back in his classroom, Izuku sat on his desk as he stared down the workout plan that his number one hero gave him.

What he failed to mention is that for the next 300 days, all his free time will be filled for the rest of the year with almost nothing but training.

If he is to obtain his quirk, he needs to follow the work out plan through. But in order to do that, he will have to dedicate almost every single day to training.

That would also mean one thing, and it worried him the most.

*ding*

Izuku's phone went off, he checked it to see that Himiko texted him. After days of taking her time, she finally returns to her usual self. They're finally able to have regular conversations again.

'Hey, are you still free for our date on saturday?' Himiko texted, getting one last confirmation before the day.

'Yeah. I'm still free.'

'Yay!' Himiko then proceeds to send the address and time of the location. 'Meet you there~'

After Izuku finishes his text with Himiko, he puts his phone away, and focuses on his problems.

When Izuku mentions his newfound relationship, All Might assumes that the girl was someone from school, or maybe a neighbor. But after hearing that it's someone that Izuku rarely sees, he became concerned that the training plan could affect their relationship.

With his schedule being absurdly filled for the next year, he is gonna have to also cut his in-person socal time.

Just as he found someone, now he has to prioritize training to make his dreams come true.

'This isn't fair!' thought the boy as he's frustrated with this dilemma. Izuku knows he's gonna have to address this to her. Especially since this is very important to him on a personal level. He needs to talk to her, and see what she would have to say. 'I'm so not ready for this.'

(Date day)

The three female cat family members were driving down to Musutafu, dropping their precious member for her date. Yawara was back home watching over a curtain young boy.

Both Shino and Tomoko are thrilled about Himiko's first date. Ryuko however was still being cautious as ever, but her opinion on the boy has slightly improved.

They are a couple streets down till they reach the place. While Ryuko drove over there, both the aunties were preparing the young girl for her date.

"Remember, don't think too much about the date, just relax and enjoy yourself." Shino advised.

"Yeah! And when in doubt, make some cat puns. He'll surely like them." Tomoko imputed.

Himiko appreciates the advice, as she has been looking forward to this day. "Thanks, I just hope that he'll enjoy it more."

The family was being supportive more so than ever. They soon pull up across the street of the restaurant. Ryuko then spoke up, "Here we are."

They all looked out the car window and saw the green haired teen.

Izuku is just waiting in front of the sushi place. Wearing more casual clothing. With his green jacket. He tries his best to look brave, but his visible shaking from the peer pressure was noticeable.

With just one look, Himiko couldn't help but think how cute he was. But then she remembered her important secret.

Ryuko took note of her daughter's expression and she asked her. "How are you feeling, little cub?"

"Very frightened, I still need to tell him my quirk. But other than that, I feel very shy."

After Ryuko hears her daughter's worries, she thought of a way to calm her down. Of course she is not up for assuming anything until she knows for certain.

But after knowing more about that midoriya boy, she couldn't really see him breaking her daughter's heart. His caring attitude and action alone shows all she needed to know. And it was enough to give her the confidence to reassure her daughter that there's nothing to be afraid of.

"I want you to know, I believe that he'll accept you for who you are."

Hearing her mother's words has calmed her down, as she was more into the reality of the situation. "Really?"

"Yeah, judging by his actions as of late, I trust enough to accept you no matter what."

With those words, Himiko's fears went down. Giving her the reassurance she needs to continue.

Both of Ryuko teammates were showing approval towards Ryuko's newfound trust of the boy.

"Hurry along now, it's rude to keep him waiting."

"Thanks mom." Himiko got out of the car, making her way to enjoy her day with her fluffy hair companion.

Once she closed the door, Ryukos started the car and began to drive off.

They were all about to spend the day around town. Or at least that's what Mandaly thought. "I'm so proud of you being trusting enough to let that boy go on a date with Himiko alone. So what do you wanna do around town?"

Shino pulls out a pamphlet of popular tourist attractions. She was actually looking forward to this day until suddenly something was thrown at her.

"Put on these wigs." Ryuko orders, catching the brunette off guard.

"Wha?"

Back over in front of the restaurant, Izuku waited for Himiko to come over. His heart was beating so fast, he never thought that this day would come. That he would actually go on a date.

He had a lot of worries of how this day would go, hopefully he'll do enough on his part to make it enjoyable for her.

"Izuku!"

Over across the street, Izuku heard the sound of Himiko's voice calling his name. It was enough to drive his heart over the edge. He turns to the sound of the voice and looks at her. His face became in awe.

She wore an oversized brown winter coat along with a pink scarf. It was an adorable set for her. Especially with her twin bun hair.

"I see you look excited already. So what do you think of my outfit?"

"Cute!" Izuku instinctively answers without thinking. He immediately put his hand over his mouth.

The response makes Himiko very happy to hear. "Thanks, I appreciate your honesty. Now let's go."

Himiko grabbed onto Izuku's arm as she led him inside the restaurant.

Once inside, they ordered their food and sat on a table facing each other while they waited for their meal to come. In the meantime, they both exchange pleasant chat. Catching up on how the other has been doing since they met.

After catching up, Izuku thought it would be time to bring up his life changing opportunity he was given.

"Hey, do you remember when we last met, how I asked you if I could be a hero?"

She looked at him as she was curious about his decision. "Have you decided yet?"

"Yeah, I thought long since then. I even had some conversations with others." Izuku looks back at her and smiles, "but in the end, I decided I want to become a hero."

"That sounds great! So, how do you plan on becoming one?"

At that question, Izuku chose carefully on what to say to her. Not wanting to reveal too much. "I have… found myself a mentor that's willing to train me for UA"

"A mentor?"

"Yeah, he's… a well-known hero actually. He was there during the slime monster incident, and saw potential in me to become a hero. So, he's willing to train me until I enter UA."

"Wow! That sounds really nice of him." she enthusiastically cheers. Being nothing but supportive.

Izuku wasn't all happy yet, as now it was time to bring up the problem. "But there's just one thing." Upon hearing those words, Himiko looked confused. That's when Izuku reaches down his bag and pulls out a few papers. "After agreeing to become my mentor, he gave me this."

He hands the papers over to her and she reads the title. "Aim to pass: American dream plan?" She read more of its contents and saw the absurd amount of training plans. "My goodness, there's hardly any time for a break."

"It's not going to be easy. But under his guidance, and following this plan. it could help me get into UA." With a heavy heart, he told her about one crucial detail. "But I'll have to devote almost all of my time until the Entrance exam to training, if I am to have any chance of succeeding."

After getting that detail out there, Himiko now understands where he was coming from. Izuku waits to hear what she would have to say.

"You mean we're not going to see each other until next year?" she asked, worried that's what he ment.

"We can still see each other! Just only on days when I'm given a break. I really want to be with you more. And I still promise that I'll be there for you for support, no matter what." Izuku puts his hand on the training plan, "And this plan is something I need to do. Please understand."

After telling her of his new plan to enter UA, he awaits to see what she would say.

"Sure, go for it!" Himiko simply responded.

Izuku was surprised to hear that she was ok with it. "Really?"

"Yeah, I get it. I mean I had to undergo a lot of my time training just to get into UA. If you really believe that this will get you into UA, then I want to be nothing more than to be supportive. Even if it means less play time, I wouldn't ask you to give up your lifelong dream for me."

With that, Izuku finally calmed himself. "Thank you, it means a lot to hear you say that."

Himiko just shows him a wide toothy smile. "Enough talk, let's enjoy our day together. I want to make this date extra special now!"

"R-Right!" Izuku stutters as he focuses back on their date.

Himiko then tries to be flirty towards him by teasing him. "Hopefully you get in, so then you can make up for me in UA."

"Oh! Uhhh…" Izuku became flustered by her choice of words. 'Make up? In UA? What does that mean?!' He quickly looks for another distraction. Right on que, the waiter came with their food. "look! our food here!"

Himiko giggles from his small freak out. The date finally begins.

While the two were eating, the three female members of the wild wild pussycats were on the other side of the restaurant, disguised with different colored wigs.

Ryuko was keeping a close eye on both her daughter and her date to make sure things were going smoothly.

"Yeah, you're really showing your trust towards him alright." Shino remarked as she felt disappointed that her friend was the same grumpy person as usual.

"Yeah, you liar!" Tomoko shouts.

Ryuko turns to both of them about their complaints. "Oh, I trust him that he'll accept my daughter's quirk. Otherwise his punishment will double for making me look like a liar in front of little cub."

"Well, at least you let him date her. That's about as much as she could ask for." Shino sighed.

"That's right. Now, hurry up and order something already, we're supposed to be inconspicuous. Don't worry about the price, It's on me."

Right as she turns her attention back to the couple, Tomoko takes her chance and signals to the server and even secretly orders everything to her liking to go.

After some time had passed, they all saw that the date was going quite well. The two were having fun chatting about interest. Both Mandaly and Tomoko kept watch, and after a long time looking, they saw little to no reason for being here. Or at least Shino was.

"Ryuko, may I ask.

"Yeah, I agree." Tomoko was stuffing herself with sushi. Although she didn't agree with watching them, she wasn't going to pass up on free sushi. After finishing her plate, she quickly and quietly asked the waiter for more servings.

After being pushed for information, she decided to do the last thing her team never thought they would see.

She looks back to them, and opens up to them.

"Girls, can I ask you something?"

The sudden shift in a worried tone had caught them both off guard. She always refuses to talk about things. hearing her like this was a rare sight.

"Oh, sure you can talk to us."

"Do you remember the day when Himiko ran away, trying to hide her quirk from us?"

"How could we not? She scared all of us that day."

"After the whole thing happened, I tried to study more on the topic to take better care of her. Would you both believe it? Me, studying?"

Both her friends laugh, remembering all the ways Ryuko would try to avoid siding back in their UA days.

Shino remembers that day, it was an important moment where her friend had grown. "It was hard to believe when I first saw you working on the computer. You were motivated."

Ryuko laughs at that before turning emotionless. "I tried to find anything that would help, but there was nothing.

For about a long time now, I trusted nothing but my instincts on every single decision. For the longest time, things were going well. Until…"

"Until what?"

"That private middle school happened." The mother angrily growls before calming herself down.

"Ryuko, calm down. We talked about this, it was no one's fault."

"That's right! It was those school's fault for letting it happen!"

Shino and Tomoko try to calm her down.

"Maybe, but there was more to it. Before she entered… that school, she told me that she was hesitant to meet others. Saying that she didn't know how to approach anyone with her quirk. She wanted my advice."

"I told her to be herself. And if people try to say bad things, don't let them get to you. There's bound to be someone for you."

Both her friends said nothing, as they knew what the outcome was.

"I wanted to hope that there was at least one person in that school to be her friend. But when I saw her crying to me about it one day, I knew there was no one, and worst of all, I wasn't there for her. I thought about it a lot since then, and I can't help but think that it is my fault for giving her the advice and believing that the kids wouldn't react."

Ryuko turns to their two friends as they briefly see her teary eye, she turns away.

"And now with her best friend gone, I can't help but wonder about how this outcome could affect her if she's not accepted."

Her two friends have now seen this side of their friend and how much she has been hurting.

"Wow, I-I had no idea." Shino told her, taking in this new information.

The brunette friend could see how much this incident has deeply affected her friend. That's when she knew she had to say something.

"You know, back when you first announced that you were going to adopt a child. I didn't know how it would turn out."

"Well, I guess I proved you right then."

No. Seeing both you and Himiko now. I can't help but see how much she means to you. Saying that you're a bad mother after one unintentionally bad advice, wouldn't be right. Take a good look at her."

Ryuko turns to her little one again, all happy on the date with her crush.

"You made this happen, not only did you provide her with the best family. You managed to help her get close to her crush. Now they are enjoying themselves on a date. You would call yourself a bad mother for that?"

"…no." she finally saw how happy her child was now, what her recent actions had done. But there was still one thing that worried her. "But how can you be so sure that he'll accept her?"

Shino smiled at her friend, as she told her. "I can give you three reasons. One, he admittedly has a crush on her. Two, he's a huge fan of hers, given what Himiko said. And three, she accepted him for being quirkless, something the boy feared. Come on now, even Tomoko can see it."

"Yeah! he'll accept her! I know it!"

The brunette gives her friend one last reassurance that things will work out. "Hey, trust me on this, everything will work out."

Ryuko thought about those reasons, she couldn't lie and say that they didn't help put her at ease. "Okay."

After her friends finally get through to her, they move on with their meals.

Both Izuku and Himiko were nearly finished with their meals. They cleaned up as Himiko suggested going somewhere with him to find something fun to do around town.

"It looks like they've planning to leave now." Ryuko told them all, still being fearful.

"Relax yourself now." Shino helps her best friend, by putting her mind at ease.

"Right. Nothing to worry about." while the mother was still worried, she had to let her go and take a chance. Once she finally accepts it, "I'm really sorry you two. We were supposed to hang out around town, and I ended up ruining it for my own selfish reason."

"I wouldn't say that. We can still go and see town together. It's not too late."

"Yeah, let's go."

Hearing both her closest friends forgave her, and are willing to still go around town.

"Alright." Ryuko stood up,as she was going to put this all behind them all. "Let's have our night out."

They were set to go and ready to enjoy the rest of their day around town. The female waiter came to the table. "Excuse me. miss. Your bill."

"Oh, over here, I'll pay for-'' She cuts herself off after seeing the bill at an outrageous price. "WHAT THE CRAP!"

As she shouted, Ryuko jumped from her table out of shock. Causing some drinks to be knocked over. Shino's drink was knocked over, landing on her. making a huge stain on her good shirt.

"Ugh! Ryuko! Why'd you freak out?!" yelled Shino as she wanted to know cause her friend to freak out.

Ryuko turns the bill over towards her. "This is why!"

Once Shino saw the bill, she became speechless.

Tomoko just eats her last few bites, knowing that they were about to be her last.

Ryuko signals the waiter, and tries to get to the bottom of this.

Shino once again noice the stain left on her good shirt. She needs to take care of it now. "I'll be right back, I need to wash this off."

She went away from the table while her friend was figuring out the bill.

A few minutes later, Shino exited the bathroom, after cleaning herself off. "At least the stains aren't noticeable."

She began to make her way back to the table. Expecting nothing more than to spend some nice quality time with her friends around town.

"Are you ready to ruin his date?"

Shino stops in her tracks, when overheard a conversation talking about a date. She wasn't one for snooping, but this person sounds like he had ill intention. She looks over to the source of the voice while hiding behind the wall near the bathroom.

That's when she spotted two boys holding the menu suspiciously up to their faces. They wore the same exact school uniform as the midoriya boy.

They then started speaking to each other.

"Are you ready for this?" ask the boy who had long hair.

"Yeah, I have bought some things as well." his accomplice replied .

The long-haired boy smiled. "That quirkless loser's date with Singapura is as good as ruin."

After Shino confirms that the boys were talking about midoriya. 'This sounds bad, who are these two boys?'

(A few days earlier)

Back at the school, Izuku had just finished his text conversation with Himiko. He looked down at his workout plan, thinking about his date this saturday.

Little known to him, while Izuku was focusing on his own life problems. Yubi and Daiki, two of his bullies from before, were eavesdropping on him.

Ever since they discover that his mystery friend was not only a UA student. But a well known teen hero. The two continue to spy on him, trying to figure out what the cat hero saw in him.

Yubi peeked at Izuku's text conversations while he wasn't looking. Causing him to be dumbfounded by what he found. He moved away and went over to his friend to reveal his findings.

"Well you're not gonna believe this! Apparently Deku is really going on a date with Singapura!" Yubi recap.

Daiki became genuinely shocked to hear this. "Are you serious?!" He looks over the quirkless boy, as he tries to make sense of it all. "How can this be happening?!"

"I don't know… I really don't."

The two boys become grumpy, and are even massively jealous of Izuku's newfound relationship. Then suddenly a thought came to Yubi's mind. "You know, I did manage to find out about when and where they are going to have their date."

"Oh geez, why don't you tell me how their date goes while you're at it."

"I could do that, or how about we play with Midoriya just like old times and prank him on his date."

Daiki looks at his friend, as he begins to like the idea. "Yeah, that sounds like a plan. Hey, we should go get Bakago in on this, surely he would want to mess with him like old times."

The two bullies agreed to sabotage this date.

After school finished, they went to find Bakago and told him everything. They expect to be like the old times again when they were young kids. But to their surprise, Bakago no longer shows a slight interest in them.

"And I should care, why?" Bakago asked as the two boys standing in front of him were surprised by his response. They couldn't believe that he was the same person.

"What?! But it's Deku! And he's going on a date! Shouldn't you show more interest in this?" Yubi argues, trying to get him to see his point. But it was not going through to him.

"I don't give a crap what Deku has! Putting any more effort on him now will be a waste of my time. I'm going to UA, and I'm not having any more distractions." he turns to them with a look of disgust. "That includes you two."

Both the teens were surprised when Bakugo mentioned them. "Us! What did we do?!" Yubi asked.

"While I was fighting off that slime villain, you two cowards ran away. Giving that Deku a chance to try to help me again."

"I thought you didn't need any help? Also, fighting off? It look more like being held hostage-"

Bakago gave Yubi a sucker punch. Causing him to fall to the floor.

"I didn't want help from anyone! And it's clear to me that hanging around with you two cowards will do me nothing but slow me down!" he turns his backs against them, "Now, leave me alone. And don't mention Deku again."

The angry spiky blond boy walked away from them. Set out to become the hero he wants to be. Yubi got up from the ground as he wasn't expecting this sudden change from his so-called friend. After Bakago made some distance, he whispered to his friend.

"Geez, Bakago sure has become different since Deku helped him."

*BOOM*

Bakugo turns to them while lighting up small explosives from his fingers. He had a mad look on his face once he heard the last thing he wanted to hear. "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!"

The boy was shocked to see that Bakago heard him from 20 feet away. "Nothing! I didn't say anything. Right Daiki?" He turns to his friend only to see that had already made a run for it when he heard Bakago's explosion. Yubi turns over back to the explosive boy to see him charging up for an attack. "Aw, crud."

Explosions can be heard as Yubi ran for his life. After minutes or so, he managed to escape his now former friend's wrath.

He regrouped back with his other friend and talked about what to do next.

"Well that went pretty horribly." Daiki points out the obvious, which in turn made his long-fingered friend even more mad.

"Aw, you think!"

"Now what?"

"You know what, forget Bakago! we'll just do it ourselves."

The two bullies were in an agreement, and head off to plan their sabotage.

(the present)

Shino headed straight back to her friends. While going back, she immediately piece it together. 'These boys appear to be bullies to that poor boy. And they're going to ruin Himiko's date! I have to warn Ryuko!"

Back over to the table. Ryuko found out that it was Tomoko who ordered the boxes of meals currently resting on their table. She ended up paying for them, not wanting to make a scene with her little cub still in the restaurant.

Tomoko knows that she's gonna to get chewed out back home, judging by her friend's mad look on her face. 'Still worth it.'

Soon after that, Shino came back to the table looking very anxious, "Ryuko, I need to tell you something."

When both of them noticed that her friend seemed troubled, they turned and asked. "What's wrong?"

"Do you see those two students over by the corner, next to the bathroom?"

Both Ryuko and Tomoko turn to find the two boys, wearing the same school uniform as Midoriya.

"What about them?" Asked Ryuko.

"I've overheard their conversation while leaving the bathroom, they appear to be bullies towards that Midoriya boy. Their intention is to sabotage your daughter's date."

Once the news was shared, both of them began to take this seriously. Tomoko stopped eating, as she was no longer her fun usual self. Instead, she became serious.

Ryuko wasn't showing any emotion on the outside, because she expresses them through action. "Alright, let's go take care of these bullies."

Shino didn't like the sound of that. "We're only going to talk to them? Right?"

"No, I'm gonna make them regret they were born!"

Both of Ryuko's friends were surprised by her choice of words.

"Are you sure about this? Couldn't we just intervene and talk them down?"

"On any other time, I would just let it go, and give a bully a stern talking and call it a day. Not this time. They think they could just ruin my little girl's first date, and get away with it? Screw that! These little menaces are going to die! Where's my new cat glove?!"

"It's in the trunk." Tomoko answered.

Ryuko tries to head to the car, but Shino quickly stops her before going through on her bloody rampage. "Wait, wait, wait. You know we can't do anything to harm them. it'll be much easier to just confront them."

"You know as well as I do that stern talking will only do so little. should we just let them go, possibly letting them have a chance to ruin the date?"

"I'm not saying that. I was thinking we could stand by to make sure they don't cause any trouble, and stop them if they try to do anything towards them."

Ryuko considers her suggestion for a second. "I don't know. Tomoko, what do you think?"

"Go feral on them! It's more fun!" Tomoko shouts.

Ryuko nodded as she was about to make her way to the car.

Shino stops her once again. "I'm sorry, but can't you at least humor me this once and do things my way?"

*sigh* "fine. We'll keep watch."

Both were in an agreement to watch over the couple and to protect them from danger.

After leaving the restaurant, both Himiko and Izuku stop by a small festival in town. They play at the game stands there having a playful time. Both the bullies and Himiko's family were close by watching everything from afar.

The bullies kept their distance and waited for an opportunity to strike. This went on until Himiko stopped by this one particular game stand.

"Let's go play this one." Himiko asked Izuku, as she pointed over to a balloon dart's game.

"Ok." Izuku nodded as they went over and started to compete with each other.

While they were playing the game, the bullies stopped and sat on a stone foundation for the large bush wall in the middle of the street and began to make their move.

"This looks like the perfect time." Daiki told his friend as he placed his bag between them and opened it to reveal a large number of water balloons inside. "We're gonna throw these water balloons at them and their clothes will drench."

He looked over to Yubi thinking that he would be thrilled about it, but instead he stayed silent with a disappointed look on his face.

"What?"

"Water balloons? Really? What are you, five? We're trying to make this date horrible."

"Well uh… I don't know how to tell you this, but I'm too much of a Singapura fan to go too far."

Yubi looked at him with a dumbfounded face. "Are you being for real right now?"

"Hey! don't judge me!"

"No, I wasn't judging!"

The two boys began to argue with each other. Giveing the three cat heroines time to act, as they saw what they were planning.

"Those little runts! They are gonna get theirs real soon!" While Ryuko's anger for these two troublemakers is there, she had to hold her grudge in for now to make a plan. "they're in the open. Little cub will definitely see us. There's hardly any ground dirt to use my quirk."

"What should we do?"

While they thought of what they should do, Tomoko looked at the two boys' surroundings, and that's when she came up with an idea. "Oh! I have an idea!"

Tomoko went over to a game stand that's on the opposite side of the large bush wall where the two boys were sitting. That's where she went up to a certain game booth.

"Strike down the pins, and win a prize." Announced the game operator as the three were in front of it.

Tomoko went up and paid the admission fee.

"Tomoko, what are you doing?!" Asked Shino. "We don't have time for games!"

Ryuko stops her, "hold on a sec. She may be onto something." Despite all the trouble Tomoko would cause her. When the situation is serious, she doesn't waste time fooling around.

Tomoko smiles, as she singles Ryuko to come over so she could whisper something to her. "Could you go stand by the bushes for me?"

The cat mom understood her completely, and did what she was told.

Now Tomoko may not have been as brilliant as the other students in her UA years, but softball was her favorite sport.

She focused her search quirk and pinpoint the two boys' positions and everyone around. Once she saw the perfect opportunity, she took his chance,

"Hey! what's that over there?!" Tomoko asked the game operator, as she pointed at nothing.

"Over where?" he turned his head to see what she was even pointing at.

With the game operator distracted, Tomoko turned around and threw the ball fast at the bushes, disappearing straight to the other side.

*smack*

"My stuff!" A loud cry was heard from one of the boys. On the other side, the boy's bag was hit by something hard, sending all of its contents on the street floor. They stopped what they were doing to pick up everything that had fallen on the floor.

Ryuko quickly grabs the softball that bounced out from the bush and tosses it back to Tomoko.

The game operator looked back at Tomoko with a confused look. "I don't see anything."

"Must've been my imagination." Tomoko plays it off as if nothing has happened. She continues with her game.

Meanwhile the unfortunate boys were picking up their items attracting unwanted attention from the people around them.

"Crap, Midoriya is bound to notice we're here with this crowd! Let's get out of here!" Yubi warned.

The two boys retreated for now, until an opportunity presented itself.

Back over to the couple, after multiple attempts, Izuku manages to win one prize. Even though it was only one, he looks on the bright side that he actually won something.

He turns over to Himiko and is in shock to find that she had won multiple prizes. She went next to Izuku with all of her winnings.

"My mom made Aizawa teach me how to use throwing knives."

Izuku felt a small hint of embarrassment, but yet impressed of her skills

The three looked over how the two were doing, and were happy to protect these innocent little ones from unwanted interruptions. From then on, they follow nearby, keeping an eye on them.

After playing with the games booths for a while, the couple walk over to a large park nearby to finish off their date. From there, Himiko spotted something off in the distance that made her excited to try.

"Hey look! Swan boats!" Himiko pointed.

Izuku turned his head to see swans boats at the park's lake.

"Huh? They have those here?"

"Yeah, swan boats are very cute! Let's go!"

Himiko drags Izuku over to the swan boats and rents one.

Both the teens began to paddle on the boat across the park's pond. It was a pleasant peaceful moment between the two.

Up ahead was a large stone bridge where the two bullies were waiting.

"OK, here's my prank." Yubi started, taking something out of his pocket. "Once their boat comes near the bridge, I'm gonna throw this toy stink bomb onto their swan boat. They will have to deal with the smell throughout the ride. Or jump off."

"Ohhh, this is gonna be good." Daiki replied, getting ready for it.

The three cat team members were just a couple of feet away, under a tree.

"This doesn't look good," Ryuko said. "Those two are out in the open area on the stone bridge. We can't do anything to stop them without drawing attention to ourselves."

"What do we do?" Asked Tomoko.

Ryuko thinks of a plan, but has nothing to think of. Or at least that was when she looked at Shino, and had an idea.

"Hey Shino, remember high school?" Shino took a sec to figure out what she was talking about, until she realized it. "What?! No! I'm not doing it! I left that behind me in high school."

"Come on, we really need this right now." Ryuko begs her friend to give it a go as she points to her daughter. "Himiko really needs this."

Shino thinks it over, and makes a quick decision. "Alright fine, I'll do it. Just give me a second, it's been a while."

Shino is preparing to use her quirk. She remembers both the boy's name and their voices. She repeats the words and tries to think in their voices to mimic.

"Get the stink bomb ready, they're coming now." Ordered Yubi.

Daiki activates the stink bomb. "Ok, it's ready."

"Throw it now, they're under us!"

The boy with the stink bomb went towards the edge of the bridge, and Just as he was about to drop it. A thought came through his mind.

'I wonder what cement tastes like.'

Daiki came to a complete halt as he questioned what in the absolute world his mind just thought of?

Yubi saw his friend standing still, and got angry. "What are you doing? Throw it!"

His friend quickly snapped him out, and he resumed his search throw

'I wonder if All Might's abbs could crush a walnut.'

"What the-"

Daiki missed his chance as the swan boat went under the bridge.

"You missed! What were you doing?!"

"I… I don't know."

Yubi swiped the stink bob of his hand. "Give me that! I'll do it myself!"

He ran towards the other end of the bridge. With just a small window of time before the stink bomb exploded. He raised his arm, ready to throw it.

That's when he saw the swan head, emerging out from under the bridge.

"Now!"

'All Might has such good calves.'

Yubi stopped himself, utterly confused by what his thoughts just conjured up for no reason. "What the f-"

*Pop*

The stink bomb went off, making a small sound that spooked the couple.

"Did you hear something?" Izuku asked, concerned by what that noise was.

Himiko heard the noise, but didn't want it to disturb her date. "Probably someone is playing with fireworks."

The two shrugged it off and resumed their boat ride and enjoyed the rest of the trip.

Back on the bridge, Yubi was caught by the stink blast, and the smell got on his clothes. He goes back over to his friend, who's covering his nose.

"I'm gonna go wash off. Don't let them out of your sight."

Back over to the three cat heroes. Tomoko laughs at the misfortune that befalls the two Troublemakers.

"Nice going Shino." Ryuko congratulates her friend for using her quirk to stop them. "What did you say to them?"

"I… I would rather not say." she told them, while she blushed deeply when she thought about her choice of words.

The three cat family members were successful in protecting the two. The teens enjoy the rest of their day undisturbed. The bullies were now at their wits end with these unsuccessful pranks.

The couple were at the end of a wonderful date between the two. They decided to finish it off at the most secluded spot in the park. The night sky would soon befall on them as the sunset showed its bright orange color, clear from any clouds. The moonlight was reflecting off the nearest lake, revealing its crystal waters. The perfect scenery for the two to end things.

Both the teens walked up to a small hill with a park beach near the edge. Surrounding were many trees and bushes. The date has been nothing but blissful for the two.

Himiko was leaning on Izuku's shoulder, enjoying the moment.

"I had a lot of fun today."

"Y-Yeah, me too." Izuku right now for the life of him, couldn't guess on how he made it this far.

While they were by themselves, the two bullies were watching from afar, hiding behind some bushes. After hours of attempting to sabotage Izuku's date, they were about to call their losses.

"It's official, we're now lower than Deku." Yubi cried, admitting his defeat.

"How could this happen? Dinki questioned, as he really can't believe that it came to this. "What do you wanna do?"

Yubi wanted to ruin this date, but with the unfortunate events that have happened to them today, he ultimately decided to stop. "You know what, forget it! let's just get out of here, this whole operation was a bust anyway."

Ryuko and the others were a couple of bushes to the side, watching both her daughter's date and the two troublemakers.

Once all of them heard that the two boys were finally giving up, they began to lower their guard.

"Good, they are giving up." Ryuko acknowledged. "Lucky for them, they get to live another day."

"Thank goodness." Shino calms herself, not having to worry anymore about her friend's wrath.

Then suddenly Tomoko asked them "But can we see how this date ends? I got invested, and I want to see how it will end."

Although they agreed to let them alone. but seeing how it's been going so far, they couldn't lie and say they want to see it they all were in agreement and watched the date unfold.

Back at the teen couple, after a while of enjoying the view, they both turn to look at each other. It's now the highlight of the night, thinking how they should end the date.

Both are having trouble getting the words out. Izuku being the shy boy he is, can't begin to say anything. While Himiko had no problem saying how she feels, there is however her disturbing quirk that's holding her back.

The one thing that's been following her since childhood that's brought many complications to her life. Up until now, she feared what Izuku would say. But, after both knowing and going out with him. She feels absolutely comfortable telling him her secret.

"Izuku, there's something I need to tell you."

"Is there something wrong? You seem troubled?"

"No, nothing wrong. It's just that…'' not wanting to hesitate any longer, she came out and said it. "Izuku, I love you a lot. And I want to make it official."

It was the way she said those words so casually that caused everyone there to be shocked beyond disbelief.

"Really?!" Izuku couldn't have felt more happy until now.

"Yeah, I love everything about you. Your goal, smart mind, and your cute freckle face. To tell the truth. That is, if you wanna be?"

Without hesitation, Izuku spoke his mind. "Of course! I feel the same way!"

This made her happy to hear him say that, but of course there is one thing that needs to finally be addressed. "Thank you. Except…"

Izuku was worried after she said that word. Thinking that this could very well determine how their relationship will become. "Except?"

Himiko takes a good long look at him.. She paused only for a moment until she was ready to speak again. "Before we can have that, there's something you should know about me. It's really personal."

"Really? Then tell me, I'm listening."

"By now, it's no secret that any information about my quirk hasn't been revealed in the media. Very few actually know about it. My family, teachers, and my best friend know. Now, it will be you too. That's what I want to talk about.

"Wait, you're going to tell me your quirk?!"

"Yes."

The cat girl didn't know it, but Izuku felt honored. Not only did she want him as her boyfriend, but she trusted him enough to reveal her quirk.

He still finds it hard to believe that two of his favorite heroes reveal their quirk to him. What were the odds?

"The thing is, my quirk is… really difficult for me to share. So, please don't rush me."

"It's okay. Take as much time as you need to."

Himiko holds herself off for now, thinking on what words to say to him.

Unknown to both of them, the two bullies hiding in bushes heard everything. Especially the part where the cat hero was going to tell Izuku about her quirk, they both now begin to freak out.

"Holy crap! Is she really going to reveal her quirk?!"

"Huh, maybe this night wasn't for nothing after all." The long finger boy reached in his pocket and took out his phone. "If we can record actual video evidence about her quirk, we could go viral. But then again I know some people will pay a fortune for information like this."

As the two boys were getting ready to set up, the cat family from the side heard everything. Reasonably, they were not happy to hear what the boys had planned.

Both Tomoko and Shino were very disappointed, and are starting to get mad now.

But not as angry as Ryuko when both of them turn over to her. They were going to record her and humiliate her all over the web. Just like she had been. Only this time, it was her little cub, and she became furious.

Her team worried that they were gonna witness a slaughter. But then something terrifying happened. Ryuko was calm.

"You know what, I changed my mind. A stern talking is just what these boys need." She began to manipulate the ground to create something huge for the two boys. "How about we give them one that they'll never forget."

While they were busy, the boy tried to get a good angle to record.

Yubi uses his quirk to stretch his fingers that were carrying his phone to get a much closer view of the couple.

"Hold it steady, don't mess it up. And don't forget to forget to switch to video." Daiki warned.

"Be quiet, I'm focusing here." He tries his hardest to straighten his arm to get the highest quality of the video. But then he feels resting on the side of his shoulder. "Get your arm off me, it's not helping."

"Huh? I was about to say the same to you."

Both of them froze in place, as they both looked to their side to find a giant paw the size of their torso with sharp claws that belonged to a wild animal. It looked as if it was all made of dirt on the ground. They both slowly turn behind him, gripping their phone and hands as they become speechless and beyond terrified by what they saw.

A giant lion that towers over them like the trees around them. It was made entirely out of dirt, its flowing mane was dancing with the winds. The anger on its face looked like it was about to attack.

Then suddenly, it began to talk to them, but not directly, they heard its masculine voice through their minds. 'You two are in big trouble.'

two boys were in a mint of jumping out of their hiding spot to get away. But a wall of dirt was immediately made to prevent them both from escaping. Blocking both the view and sound from the couple.

The bullies were now in a corner with nowhere to go.

They turn back to the unknown monster as fear spreads throughout their body.

"What are you?!" they both asked as they held each other in panic.

"What you see, is what I am."

"That doesn't even explain anything!" Yubi whined.

'Enough! you two have been causing trouble around here. Going around the town the entire day trying to ruin this boy's date you call deku.'

Both the bullies were petrified with how much it knew about them. Causing them to be even more scared.

'Your plan to humiliate and embarrass the boy, and for what… because he's quirkless?'

Then the dirt lion looks at them closely, as it asks them one thing.

"What are your reasons for doing such a thing?"

One of them spoke up. "Look, we were only just… messing around."

Hearing that poor excuse has really angered them all. Thinking that messing with people's personal lives is for fun and games.

'Messing around?! Messing around! you two have come with the intent of ruining that poor boy's date because he's quirkless! Not caring at all what happens to him or the girl being affected!

Shino then reminds them of what they were about to do a second ago.

'Worst of all. You tried to take a video on that poor girl's personal secret. Planning to share it across the web, not caring at all how this will make her feel. You two are the worst.'

Being judged by this unknown monster with everything they have done, they both began to get really regretful for what they did.

Both of them bow down in fear, pleading for forgiveness. "We're sorry! We've gone too far, we'll be good! We promise! Please forgive us!"

After this display, they heard enough. Ryuko signals her friend to call it off. Once the order was given, she put a stop to it.

'Get a hold of yourselves you two, I'll let you both go.'

The two look up, feeling relief. 'Really?'

The dirt lion nodded just as it's about to make its exit, not before leaving them with one last thing. 'But remember, I'm watching you two. And if you don't change, you'll be sorry.' Just like that, both the lion and the dirt wall in one millisecond disintegrated right in front of them into the ground. Leaving them both with a haunting memory that will last forever.

The bullies took a second to comprehend what just happened, and immediately started to get up and leave the park. Going home with a new trauma that would stop them from bullying anyone else.

The three girls walk over to where the bullies were hiding to get a closer view of the date.

Ryuko let out a sigh of relief. "There. It's all taken care of."

"Although a bit much, I'm really glad we worked it out without violence."

While the two boys were walling off, Daiki tried to make sense of what just happened.

"Did we like- talk to a mythical Japanese legend?"

"I think we did."

The two were still scared and motionless, as they went away. Changing their way of life.

The team watched the two gullible fools become excited when they believed their own explanation, as they ran back home.

Ryuko just lets them believe what they want, not like it was gonna come back to bite her.

But now that they're out, the date is now safe.

They all turn to the date, waiting to see what will happen.

The young cat heroine has finally gathered the courage to tell her special partner her secret.

"Alright, I'm ready to tell you."

The boy nods as he braces himself for what he's about to find out. Then Himiko nervously tells him.

"My quirk gives me the ability to transform into another person. I can also have their voices and even their clothes." Her voice got lower once she mentioned the downside. "To use it...I need to drink that person's blood."

At long last, she'd finally revealed her quirk to him. She had turned her head away from him, too ashamed of her quirk to even look at him. Despite that, she still had one eye looking at his face, as she wanted to see what he thought about her.

Usually, whenever people find out what her quirk is, they often have varieties of reactions shown on their face. None of them were ever good. The most common is often fear, disgust, and terror. Some would even try to fake their emotions and pretend to be ok with it. Those friendships never last long.

She took a long look at Izuku's face to see how he feels about her now. That's when she was surprised to find Izuku's reaction. Because she saw a whole completely new emotion, one that she thought wouldn't appear on anyone's face.

...amazement.

"That sounds awesome!" The nerdy boy squealed as he began to take out his journal and start writing in it.

"What?" Asked the shocked cat girl. She turned her head to fully face him, to analyze his emotions. Only to find that his emotions were genuine. She had found someone who's interested in her quirk. "Izuku?"

Once he heard his name being called, he stopped writing to look up at her. "Hmm?"

"You really think my quirk is… good?"

"Yeah, I do." He declared, with a smile as wide as she ever saw him. "Can you show me?"

"Oh!" The cat girl's eyes widened, not once has anyone ever asked to show her quirk to others. She was definitely feeling all new types of emotions. Although she could show him, there was only one problem. "I mean, I want to show you. But…"

"But?"

"I don't have any blood for someone my size to change."

Before long, there was a small moment of silence before either of them spoke. All until Izuku suggests something without thinking.

"How about my blood?" After saying it, he immediately realized what he just asked her.

The question shocked Himiko, as she never expected him to willfully offer his blood to her. She desperately wants to take him up on his offer on the spot, but she has to make sure first. "Are you sure you want to do this?"

Even though this isn't something a teen should normally do, Izuku was more interested in her quirk to even think twice. "Yes. I'm sure."

After his confirmation, Himiko starts to lick her fangs. "Alright, just give me your hand and I'll make it quick."

Izuku did as instructed and gave her his hand. She gently brought the hand up to her face, thinking on how to go through with obtaining blood. That's when she pulled out the pinky and thought of using one fang to make a small pinch.

"Ready?"

Izuku nods, already preparing himself.

She took a small nip on his little pinky, trying her best to break the skin with as little pain as possible. Eventually she managed to bite though.

Surprisingly, Izuku didn't really feel as much pain as thought he would. Maybe it is because he's more resilient to pain than expected. That, or it's because He has his hand in Himiko's mouth. The ladder made him instinctively freeze up until it was done.

While Izuku waited for the process to be over, Himiko was enjoying her first taste of Izuku's blood. The taste was beyond amazing, unlike any blood she ever had before. Even if it was a small dose, it was more than enough to make her feel like she's in paradise.

Once she finally finished up, she took the pinky away from his mouth, and smiled at him. "All done."

After hearing that she finished having a drink of his blood, Izuku stopped freezing up and looked at his hand. "Huh...That wasn't so bad." She looked back at Himiko and saw a smile wider than he had ever seen her. He wondered what could have made her smile like that, until he thought about her quirk and he asked something. "Hey, since your quirk requires you to drink blood, does it taste anything to you?"

Himiko nodded, "it's the best thing I've ever tasted." Soon after she said that, some sort of gray goo started forming around her head area. Almost immediately, her head transforms into Izuku's. "So what do you think?"

Izuku was in awe, unable to put into words what he just witnessed. Only the first thing that came to his mind. "So cool!"

Himiko became so happy, having found someone special to accept her. They stay like this for a while, as Izuku begins to study all about her quirk and ask her all about it.

The three cat moms at the back were watching the date unfold. Throughout the entire day, the date has been nothing but blissful. Both Tomoko and Mandalady couldn't handle any more cuteness from this couple. They find Izuku to be worthy of going out with their little adorable member.

Even Ryuko Bob herself shows approval towards the boy. From the start, she waited for the moment where she would react to her quirk. And now that he has, she now realizes that he appears to be good for her in every way. Now there's no longer anything for her to worry about.

Ryuko can now relax, knowing that her little one's future was set. A student at UA, living in a loving family, and she had someone in her life that looks like a keeper.

The mother has now done everything she can to provide her. Now, she looks forward to the day where she becomes a hero, and… lives her own life.

Silence has befallen her after thinking further. Shino looked over at Ryuko, and saw her face with no emotion. "Ryuko? Is something wrong?"

"What? No, there's nothing wrong at all. My daughter had found someone who accepted her. Everything gone… great."

"But you don't look happy."

Knowing that her friend is persistent, she decided to just come clean. "After all this time waiting for my little one to find someone to care for her, I couldn't help but think about her future. Then I thought more ahead. And realize that one day, she won't be in my life anymore. And that I did all I could for her."

Hearing her friend opening up to her, listening to her woes. Shino quickly said something to reassure her. "Hey, don't think like that. You're just as important to her than anything else. She'll always need her mother."

Once she heard that, all fears and worries were now brushed aside. She can now be happy with whatever comes next.

They continue looking back at the couple, remaining quiet as they all watch how the rest of the date will play out.

After a long time of discussing her quirk, Himiko transforms back to herself. Loving how Izuku was interested in her quirk to this extent. The kind of emotion she looked for her entire life, and for a moment, she thought back to her past.

Izuku notices the sad look on her face and asks. "Is something wrong?"

"Can I tell you something? It's personal."

He nods, letting her know that he's here for her.

"As you may know, or at least you probably heard that I'm adopted. Right?

"Yes, I heard. Is there something wrong?"

"No no no. Nothing's wrong with that. It's just that, what people don't know is that I used to live with my 'other' family."

With that information, Izuku couldn't believe what he heard. But what caught her attention was the use of the word other. "Does that mean?"

She nods to him as she comes out and says it. "My previous name used to be Himiko Toga. I used to live with my previous family… the one I was born with, until I was five."

He became so shocked by the reveal. "Until five? What happened?"

Himiko then proceeds to tell him her story.

"When I got my quirk, I had a strong desire for blood. a second craving for it, along with a whole new taste. No matter what I eat or drink, I still have the cravings for blood. As a kid, I felt a need to satisfy those cravings somehow. But even as a kid, I didn't want to hurt anyone."

Himiko looked over at the small creature at the park with regret. "Because of that, I had to rely on other options." She wraps her right hand over her left arm as she remembers the pain long ago. "Including myself mostly."

Izuku lets out a small gasp as he quickly figures out what she means. After all this time of analyzing Heroes' quirks, he never once thought that quirks could have this effect on people. He focuses back on her to hear more about what she had to say.

"But despite this new change, I just accepted my quirk as my own. It is what it is. but my family thought otherwise."

"What do you mean by that?"

"When my family found out about my… new interest. They tried to get me to stop, saying that it's not normal. But it was useless, no matter what they tried, I couldn't change… I just can't."

Himiko just became silent before bringing up her painful memory. "For the entire year, my family no longer paid any attention to me. They turned away every time I was near, and rarely even mentioned me. Until one day, they decided to just drop me off at the adoption center."

The sad girl took a deep breath, before reliving her worst memory.

"When I realized that they were getting rid of me, my whole world shattered. To this day, I still don't exactly know why, but I called out to my parents. Begging them to not give up on me."

Himiko could feel something build up in her eyes, but got mad and refused to acknowledge it.

"They turn back at me asking themselves, why did my child have to come out so wrong."

Upon saying those words, everything became quiet.

Izuku was shocked as he held his mouth, after hearing the most horrendous thing a person could say to their child. "I'm so sorry that happened to you."

She appreciated the sentiment. "No need, it's been so long since then. It doesn't bother me anymore."

The whole cat team had a mixture of anger and sadness after overhearing such a thing. But for Ryuko, her anger had reached a new high. To think that they would say such a thing to her. It enraged her. She only hopes that they will never meet.

Back to the two teens, Himiko continues where she left off.

"After that day, I was at my lowest point. I didn't have anything to look forward to . Nobody would be there to comfort me. To tuck me in when I'm scared. Or to even see me as anything important. Believing that I was nothing more than a mistake."

She became silent for one second, before she showed a happy smile.

"Or so I thought, until one day, I was adopted by the best family ever."

Her smile extended when she thought about her mom.

"My mom… Ryuko Tsuchikawa, did more to me than anyone has ever done. She was there for me when I had nothing. Even after knowing about my quirk, she made no attempt to change me. I was finally accepted… and loved for who I am. She- she's my hero."

Hearing what Ryuko had done to help her, Izuku can't help but praise the mother for helping Himiko, "Your mom sounds very amazing."

She giggles after hearing that, but soon she returns to being serious as she thought back to her past.

"Even though it's been long since she adopted me. I often think back to that family, how much painful memories they had inflicted on me. Memories that I never wanted anyone to have. But whenever my mom is around, those memories are far behind me. Which is how I came up with my goal for when I become a hero."

Izuku listens closely to hear what she wants, as her goals were never mentioned in previous comics she had always been vague.

"My dream… is to be just like my mom. A person who people will look up to whenever they think they are unworthy of being loved. Revealing my quirk to the world, to show that anybody, despite quirks, can still find love and happiness."

The green hair stood there in amazement by what he heard. "That sounds like a noble goal." At first he liked her dream, but soon he couldn't help but point out one thing. "Wait, revealing your quirk?"

Himiko nods, as she expected him to notice. "To be honest, I dislike not being able to show everyone the real me. What my quirk is."

"Really? Then why do you hide it?"

"About a few years ago, I really did set my sights on becoming that person. I grew up being homeschooled by my family until they decided that it was time for me to socialize with others in a private middle school. I was actually looking forward to it."

She cheerfully swings her legs before she becomes serious again.

"In the beginning, I just introduced everyone to who I was, my quirk, and plan to be a hero." Himiko shows him a smile but quickly turns to sadness. "But, after looking at their disgusted faces when they heard about me. I wasn't gonna lie, it kinda hurt. But I tried to stay optimistic. I was going to stand up to what I believe, and follow through with my goal."

Once again, remembering another bad memory.

"But it becomes difficult to stand up for myself, when everyone around just started to tear me down. With their harsh words, being avoided, and feared. Not a single person thought of anything good will come out of me. It was mean of them and very inconvenient for me."

When Izuku heard that, he knew exactly what she meant. More than anyone else. He continued hearing her story.

"After months I was at my limit, I told my family about it. They took action and transferred me out of there. My mom was really pissed at the school that day for letting the mistreatment happen."

Back over at the bush, Ryuko remembers being furious at the school board that day. "Those stuck up boards were useless, and they got off easy."

"Yeah, right after you drench all their clothes with mud." Shino added.

"Like I said, easy."

The two finished at that, and listened back into their conversation. Himiko continues on with her story.

"I enrolled in a different public school. Only this time, I kept my quirk to myself. Throughout that year, it was quiet, and nobody bothered me. I wasn't a fan of secrecy myself. I wanted to be myself, make some real friends, but after that first experience, I decided that it wasn't worth the effort."

"Oh my, that's really horrible." after hearing her story, Izuku couldn't imagine how bad she must have had it.

"Somewhere along the line, I became the fifth member of the team. A different story for another time. And as my popularity grew, I was questioned a lot about my quirk." Once she brought up this moment, Himiiko began to feel uneasy. "I just decided to ask my mom to keep it secret, because…"

Himiko turns her head away this time, not facing Izuku. "I'm afraid."

Izuku notices how vague she was keeping it, and asks. "Of what exactly?"

"Let's just live it at that."

Out of everything Himiko had said to Izuku tonight, that answer seemed off. Like there was something more to it. He didn't want to press for more, it was probably best to just let it go for now.

Himiko had just said all that she wanted to, she then tried to conclude her story.

"All I really want… is to make this world a better place. But the more time I hear other people say about me, the more they start to get to me."

she finished off by questioning herself about one thing.

"I sometimes wonder if even this monster could ever inspire anyone."

After hearing those words, Izuku had enough as he finally let out his words.

"That's not true! You did!" Izuku shouts before lowering his voice. "At least to me."

Himiko looks up at him, surprised by what he said. She listened close to hear what he would say.

"Back when I was young, I dreamt of becoming a hero, just like All Might. But after being diagnosed as Quirkless, I questioned if I could even be a hero. I've been wondering about that question for so long, only to find that nobody believed that."

He quickly changed his sad attitude to a hopeful one.

"Then one day, I heard that you were going to be a hero without using quirk. Then I saw your performance at the sports festival. Because of that day, you have given me the hope I was looking for."

Without hesitation, he tells her what she means to him.

"I have been wanting to tell you for a while, that you have been an inspiring part of my life, and I'm happy to have met you."

Those words got through to her, after a long time being a member of the team. She saw how her role had a positive actual impact on someone in need. What she hopes to make.

Izuku ends his speech with something he wants to do. "Without a doubt, I believe that you can achieve your dream! And I want to be with you in UA to help you achieve it!"

Those last words gave her a sense of familiarity. Someone she long missed that she highly valued. "You sound just like her."

For only a millisecond he didn't know who she was referring to, before remembering her best friend. "You mean, Ochaco, right?"

She nods before going into another story. "At one point, I didn't really think about making friends. I didn't see a reason to try."

She began to get teary talking about her friend.

"Ochaco is… the most amazing person I've ever met. She was one of the few people that had known my secret, and wanted to be my friend. Not only that, she wanted to help me, and show myself. We were going to be heroes together, and she was going to be there for me every step of the way. Same as you."

Himiko let down a few tears, not bearing the pain any longer. "I-I miss her alot. And the worst part, I never got the chance to thank her. For being my friend."

Izuku, being the good sport he was, tries to cheer her up. "I'm sure she knows."

Himiko looked back at him, and just thought about how much she revealed in one night.

"I'm sorry. I didn't put all this emotional trauma I had on our date. But I wanted you to understand my… upbringing. I certainly brought the mood down, haven't I?"

Izuku nods his head to the side. "Not at all! You entrusted me with all this. That means a lot to me. And after hearing all that, I look up to you much more!"

Izuku led in a bit forward and accidentally put his hand on hers.

Both the teens looked at each down before looking at each other's eyes, all caught up in the moment. They have now reached the final highlight of the date.

Izuku, a boy who has almost nothing going for him. He didn't have any much skills other than his smarts, wasn't as strong, or even had any confidence in him. Not even a single quirk. And yet, Himiko still likes him. With all the faults he appears, she shows that isn't all bad.

Himiko, a cheerful girl who hides away her sad upbringing. An adorable member of the team who brings smiles and happiness to people across Japan. Who has a terrifying quirk, that would no doubt quickly drive anyone away. Never believe that a person like her would ever find a person to accept her to this extent. Thinking that a person like that wouldn't exist.

It was at this instant both of them had realized one important thing.

They found each other.

That's when Himiko decides to do something risky, she softly grabs both of Izuku's hands to bring it up. "Hey, I'm not really good at reading the romantic mood, so I'm just gonna say it. Do you want to have our first kiss?"

At that moment, Izuku's mind was at a hundred. Y-Yeah!"

She closes her eyes and begins to lean towards him.

Izuku is currently using all of his mind strength to not pass out from this moment. Knowing what he has to do, he simply closes his eyes and follows through.

Slowly and carefully, both of their lips made contact. Starting off gently, before they pressed more against each other.

The kiss was both sweet and fierce. Beyond both of their expectations. They have never felt anything more beautiful.

After moving away from each other, slowly catch their breath. A bright blush appears on their faces.

Himiko giggles as she is already picturing themselves as a couple. She rests herself on Izuku as they begin to cuddle each other.

Back over the cat team, all the members witnessed the most adorable moments together.

Shino looks over at Ryuko to find her relaxed about the whole thing. "You seem calm."

"Yeah, I am. Maybe it's time that I should stop worrying about her."

After seeing her grow throughout the years as a person, Shino could comfortably say that she was proud of her.

Back over to the two teens, they finally notice how dark it was getting. They thought about going home soon, and that made Himiko have a suggestion.

"You know, it's getting rather late. How would you like it if I could stay over at your home tonight for a sleepover?" She asked him all innocently.

A wide mixture of shock and fluster all over Izuku's face. "Really?!"

*buzz-buzz*

Just as Himiko was about to confirm her choice, something unexpected happened.

The moment was gone when Himiko's phone started ringing. She took it out and checked to find that Ryuko was calling. "It's my mom. hold on, I gotta take this."

Himiko answers the phone, holding off their conversation. "Hello?"

"Little club," answered Ryuko as she sounded happy. "I noticed how late it was getting, so I took the liberty of coming straight to pick you up using Tomoko to find your location. See you in 5 minutes."

"Wait, but-"

"Ok, bye."

Ryuko hangs up the phone, ending the conversation without any further arguments.

This inconvenience caused Himiko to pout. "She hung up on me."

Back over at the bushes, Ryuko puts the phone away and looks back at the two, who only stare at her.

"I may let her have a boyfriend, but I'm not taking any chances."

"Seems fair." Shino agreed, not going to discuss further on the subject. Finding a common ground on where to draw the line.

Now Ryuko had found a new purpose, by making sure they weren't too comfortable with each other.

"I'll go get the car, you two watch them." Ryuko instructed.

A few minutes passed as the two were waiting for the inevitable end to the date. They enjoyed the last minutes looking at the scenery, thinking of how bright their future together would look.

But after some time thinking too far ahead, Izuku remembered one thing that could present a problem later on. The quirk All Might offer him.

He thought about it more, and worries began to grow. 'How would she react if she finds me one day with a quirk?' She already knew that he was quickless. Would he try to make up a lie to her to keep it secret?

The bun haired girl notices her fluffy hair companion seems troubled over something. "Is everything ok? You look worried?"

"Oh, no. I just-" try as he might, even now Izuku couldn't lie and tell her that it was nothing. She was the first person to treat him like an actual friend, and on their first date no less. Not wanting to hurt her in any way possible, Izuku made a questionable decision. "Actually, There's something I have to tell you."

Himiko heard how serious he was and listened in, "Sure, what's up?"

"Remember when I told you about my mentor?"

"Yeah?"

"There's something I haven't mentioned to you yet. I don't know if you'll believe me."

He quickly became hesitant on telling her, right before she held his hand for comfort.

"Hey, tell me anything. I'll understand."

At that moment, his fears suddenly vanished. And he just tells her.

"My mentor has a quirk that can be given to others, and he chose me to become his successor."

As expected, she was surprised by what she heard.

"Wow, that's a… lot to take in. A quirk that can be passed on to others?"

Izuku nods as he continues, "With this quirk, I can efficiently help more people than possible. It's more than that, it's an important task that I was chosen to undertake by my meteor."

Normally this news would be hard to believe, but to Himiko, she didn't think too hard about it, given all the quirks she saw. and with the time she got to know Izuku, she saw no real reason for him to lie to her. "Wow, that sounds unbelievable!

"But first, I have to prove to him that I'm worthy of earning his quirk before he could give it to me."

"Wait, so it's not official yet? Aren't you worried that you won't achieve it?"

Izuku thought about her question, and knew the answer. He then tells her with his true feelings about it.

"Honestly I am worried that I might not be enough. It's a once in a lifetime offer. But even so, if I don't manage to earn this quirk, then I'll be alright. Because thanks to you, I know I can still be a hero without one."

Izuku told her with pure conviction behind those words.

Himiko looks at the boy in front of her, acting like a completely different person, filled with confidence. "You sound so cool just now."

With that compliment, Izuku went back to a nervous wreck. "R-really?! I didn't expect to impress you."

Izuku hid his face from embarrassment as Himiko then thought about something.

"You know, after remembering Ochaco, and talking to you about my goal. I want to pursue my dream, now more than ever. To be a hero. To show everyone that no matter what quirks they are given, that can be love too, and find happiness."

Himiko is determined, now more than ever. That's when she made a new personal promise to herself.

"Once I become my own hero, I'll reveal my quirk to the world." Izuku watches the cat girl devothing herself for the future to give hope to others. "But first, baby steps. I still need to work up the courage to tell my fellow peers in UA. For that to happen, I need to work on myself, even if ochaco isn't here to help."

At that moment, Izuku shows her his support. "Take all the time you need. I know you can do it."

Himiko looks at him one last time with a smile, before suggesting something. "Thank you. Let's just watch the stars for a little while."

Both spent their last remaining time enjoying the moment.

Meanwhile, Tomoko was amazed by what she had heard. "A quirk that can be given to others? That sounds so cool! What do you think, Shino?"

Her brown hair friend was motionless after this new information from the boy. "Yagi chose him?"

"Who's Yagi?" asked Tomoko, as she wondered why her friend froze up.

"Nothing! Just thinking out loud!" She then received a text from Ryuko saying that she had the car ready and asked her friends to come over. "That's our que! Let's go!"

They both leave the two alone as they meet up with their friend. Soon her family pulls up nearby, waiting for Himiko to finish up.

Himiko saw the car from a distance, telling her that it was time to go.

"My family is here." She turns to Izuku with a bright smile. "I had a wonderful day with you."

"Y-yeah, same here!"

She walks to the car, but Himiko looks back at Izuku to say one last thing before she goes back home. "Good luck on your training, Izuku! I'll be rooting for you!" The cat girl cheered with a wide smile.

The boy watched her go to her car, as it started and drove away. Leaving him with one thing on his mind.

"I'm dating Himiko now." The green-haired boy realized as he began to hop around in excitement, and ran all the way home, happy about his new relationship. "PLUS ULTRA!"
