"We're placing the Archambeau Manor and the town on lockdown until further notice, the assault that took place caught us off guard because we got way too complacent and trusting, some of the attackers tonight were witches we've been breaking bread with for years," Hope explained to the head of the Archambeau Midnight Soldier, Lawrence.
Lawrence shot her a nod before gesturing to his other soldiers to spread out. Some of the supernatural beings left promptly after the attack was over, while others felt it safer to stay, not knowing if they would be targets once they left. Hope did not want the word to get out about Bastien's death before she could speak with Bonnie, so it worked out better if everyone stayed close before the information became known and caused panic.
"I don't like it when you sneak up on me like that" Hope could sense Josie without even turning around.
"It's not sneaking if you can tell it's me," Josie said smiling as Hope turned around to return her smile.
"How bad is it," Josie asked in a concerned tone.
Hope nodded before answering.
"Bad, astronomically so" Hope returned.
"Where's Bonnie and Bastien?" Josie curiously asked.
Before Hope could answer, she and Josie turned around to the sound of Caroline's heels on the marble floors making her way toward them.
"Bonnie – she needs some time to deal with some things, how is everything here?" Caroline calmly asked.
"Managing, have you heard anything new? About anyone else?" Hope nervously questioned, wanting to know if Caroline knew if Bastien was dead yet. Josie caught on that there was something Hope may be hiding.
"Nothing helpful to the current situation - I may be able to get through to Sabre, first, I need the longest hot shower," Caroline replied, feeling the dirt on her feet from being in the Mystic Falls woods with Bonnie.
"I think we all need to get some rest; we have people on watch – we'll reconvene first thing in the morning, hopefully, Bonnie and Bastien have made it back from wherever they are" Josie stated, giving Caroline and Hope warm glances.
"Deal, we'll meet first thing in the morning" Caroline ordered.
Hope nodded in agreement and Caroline and Josie hugged each other before they all went their separate ways to head back to their rooms.

Sabre incanted a spell that took her and Bastien's body to the caverns in North Africa, knowing that is the one place they can go where they would be protected by the magic of their ancestors.
"I'm so sorry Bast, I'm so sorry" Sabre sobbed still holding her brother's body.
Sabre incanted a spell to preserve Bastien's body in a glass-like tomb, similar to Adonis' tomb.
"I will bury you properly once this is all over, I promise" Sabre took a deep breath as she watched her brother's body be perfectly placed in a glass-like tomb. Sabre gave her brother one last look before turning around to head out of the cavern.

"Can we speak in private?" Emeline asked Damon quietly as she glanced at her friends and the two new people, she was unfamiliar with. Damon nodded and looked at Stefan who understood, Damon looked at Lexi who looked happy to get to know the new crew.
Emeline walked Damon to Hope's office and shut the door.
"Sorry, I just didn't want to talk about everything in front of everyone, this is all – just a lot" Emeline said to Damon as he shut the door behind them.
"Yeah" Damon agreed as he looked around the room, it was unfamiliar to him yet familiar at the same time.
"I've seen you in pictures, I mean, from when you were young, but it's still weird-"Before Emeline could finish her sentence Damon interjected.
"To not see me all old and grey? Yeah, it's weird for me too, same with this upgrade I got" Damon said as he brought his hand up to his face to look at the front and the back of his hand.
"It was a pretty powerful spell, I couldn't have done it on my own – I feel like I should be just as strong as Mom was at this age, I'm scared I won't be" Emeline started to tear up thinking about how she needed both Ash and Emily's help. Damon furrowed his brows at Emeline's statement.
"Em, you brought back three people back from the dead, and two of us back as super vamps, your mother did a lot of incredible things, but I haven't seen her do that all at once– I'm sorry by the way, for what happened to your father, he loved you and your mom, more than anything in this world" Damon said softly as he brought in Emeline for a hug, Emeline started to quietly cry into his black shirt.
"yeah…me too" Emeline choked out. Damon placed a kiss on top of her head as he continued hugging her.
Emeline finally pulled away to wipe her tears.
"Mom doesn't know, I don't think she knows, I didn't get to see her before I came here" Emeline muttered with tears in her eyes.
"She knows, I promise you she knows" Damon squeezed her shoulder.
"Before I said the spell to bring you back, Emily's spell led me to learn you're back to help protect me, I'm not entirely sure what's coming but it's bad, I can show you? If that's okay.." Emeline asked cautiously.
Damon nodded in agreement as Emeline placed her hands on both sides of Damon's head, as Emeline incanted a spell to help her show him the bits and pieces of the events that transpired up until Damon was brought back. The moment Damon saw Bonnie, Emeline immediately felt a change in Damon's emotions and let go.
"Where is she now?" Damon asked in a more serious tone.
"I..I don't know, I can try to track her" Emeline answered, not wanting to ask what she really wanted to ask, noting it was not the right time.
"No, I'm assuming whatever she's doing right now…she wouldn't want you involved – " Before Damon could say anything more they both turned around to the knocks on the door.
"Damon - " Lexi said as she opened the door.
"Lexi by the way, we haven't gotten to formally meet yet" Lexi put her hand out smiling, to shake Emeline's as Emeline reluctantly returned the greeting.
"Hey, I'm Emeline" Emeline responded.
"Wow, Bonnie's daughter huh, I'm happy to meet and help magical royalty" Lexi smiled warmly at Emeline, and Emeline immediately felt that she could trust her.
"It's fitting because she's the ultimate groupie" Damon teased which made Lexi scoff.
"Ass..I came to tell you that something weird is happening outside, Stefan and Lana are scoping it out, but it doesn't sound good" Lexi said in a more serious tone which caused Damon and Emeline to look at each other and then back at Lexi.
As Damon, Lexi, and Emeline made it to Eamon and Ash who were ready in defense mode, a loud explosion occurred causing them all to fly backwards.
Emeline immediately heard ringing in her ears as she was slowly coming to before she could comprehend what was happening, Damon had grabbed her, and Vamp sped out of the area as quickly as possible.
"HUNTERS!" Emeline could hear Lana yelling which immediately caused her to wake fully back up.
"Here HURRY!" Damon ordered as he bit his wrist and brought it to Emeline's mouth. Emeline almost immediately healed back up from drinking his blood and saw the scene in front of her.
"I thought this place was protected by gargoyles and shit!" Eamon yelled as he was firing his weapon.
"No these aren't hunters" Emeline said to herself as she saw Stefan and Lexi dodging wooden bullets and snapping the necks of the masked attackers. Damon stayed near her ready to attack anyone that came her way.
Before Emeline elaborated on her statement, she incanted a spell and suddenly all the bodies of the people attacking the supernatural crew levitated in the air as their necks all snapped simultaneously and then their bodies fell. Emeline's nose began to bleed.
"I somehow think this is not what the Weather Girls meant," Damon said out loud as he scowled looking at the dead attackers fall.
"Soldiers" Stated Stefan as he threw a dead one on the ground in front of Emeline and Damon.
"I haven't been alive for a long time so I'm not sure what this could be" Stefan continued with a concerned look as he bent down and lifted up the logo on the tactical gear of the soldier.
"All wrong" Ash said as she brushed off the dirt from her top. Lana quickly went over to Emeline to make sure she was okay.
"They're from a Covert Government Agency, partially founded by Bonnie, to help with supernatural threats that would threaten human and supernatural life, the OWIA" Ash recounted.
"I'm sorry.. the what?" Damon inquired, genuinely confused.
"The Other World Intelligence Agency" Ash looked around the group.
"They're rarely seen, I – I don't know why they would attack us" Ash continued anxiously.
"I just killed like…like twenty people" Emeline said quietly to herself as she looked at Lana before fainting.
"Emeline!" Lana yelled, gathering the attention of the others.
Stefan and Damon were the first ones to hear it, the sounds of bones cracking into place, as each of the fallen soldiers' body limbs were slowly coming back to life.
Lexi then turned her attention to the sounds as well causing Eamon to go back into defense mode as he brought his weapon up to his eye.
As the bodies started to stand back up, they quickly disappeared.
"We can't stay here" Lana looked up to the group still holding Emeline, waiting for an answer.
"Yeah" Damon said looking at the empty field in front of them with an undiscerning expression as he and Stefan looked on from the field to the Salvatore school that still had smoke coming out of It from the explosion.
"Bonnie's house.. Lexi and Stefan, go see if you can find a car around here to hotwire, I remember the way" Damon ordered before he looked down at Lana and Emeline with a concerned look.
Stefan and Lexi nodded in agreement as they both vamp sped across the property to find vehicles not affected by the explosion.
"Okay about this..agency" Damon turned his attention to Eamon and Ash.
"The OWIA?" Ash responded.
"Yeah..I'm not calling it that" Damon sneered.
"Well, they're only supposed to be used if Bonnie and certain Government leaders agree to use them, they're otherwise not supposed to interfere, let alone attack the school, that's why the gargoyles didn't sense trouble" Ash continued.
"Who's the leader, because I highly doubt – no I know for a fact that Bonnie wouldn't agree on a random attack like this" Damon asked.
"My Brother" Ash stated after a deep sigh.

"Elena?" Bastien asked Bonnie confused.
"No" Bonnie angrily responded.
"Oh yes, the one and only" Katherine stated as she made her way closer to Bonnie, clearly not able to see or hear Bastien.
"I can send you to whatever hell you crawled out of before you can even take one more step, so please understand the grace I am granting you by inviting you to speak so you can tell me why and how in the entire fuck are you here right now" Bonnie ordered as she slightly cocked her head to the side.
"Well, I owe your line a whole lotta favors that they are finally cashing out on, and with the help of Emily and your daughter? I was sent he-" Katherine suddenly felt like she couldn't breathe and started to claw at her throat as she was lifted off the ground and brought to Bonnie.
"Bonnie hear her out" Bastien softly ordered as Bonnie placed her hand on Katherine's throat now that Katherine was directly in front of Bonnie.
"I don't need help, not from my line, and definitely not from you, and them sending you is a fucking insult, and if you ever think or speak of my daughter, I will make sure you suffer more than you ever had in your miserable shitty life" Bonnie glared directly into Katherine's eyes who was losing oxygen before finally letting her go and throwing her to the ground.
Katherine grabbed at her throat coughing, trying to regain her oxygen as she looked up at Bonnie with admiration and fear.
"You.." Katherine said trying to talk as she was getting more oxygen and her throat was healing.
"You need my help Bonnie - look, I don't know the full story of what's going on, but I know it's bad, bad enough that they would send me, that they would trust me as a vampire again and not just a regular vampire but an original" Katherine slowly got back up.
Bonnie let out a short chuckle before glancing at an unamused Bastien.
"You know what she's done, to me, to the people I love, and you want me to hear her out? What do you know that you're not telling me?" Bonnie asked Bastien as she turned away from a confused Katherine.
Bastien looked over at Katherine before looking at Bonnie.
"Not here" Bastien responded.
Bonnie looked over at Katherine.
"My dead husband and I need to have a chat, I'll be right back" Bonnie coldly stated to Katherine who was still incredibly confused.
Bonnie quickly entered the psychic world she built for her and Bastien, which placed them at the Louvre, one of Bonnie's favorite places to go with Bastien during their marriage.
Bonnie and Bastien appeared in front of "The Raft of the Medusa" painted by Theodore Gericault in the 19th century.
"Bonnie, our daughter needs you" Bastien softly stated as he looked down at his powerful green-eyed wife who looked back up at him.
"And what about you? You didn't think about that when you thought you could bring Sabre back without a fight?" Bonnie asked as her green eyes started to fill with tears.
"She didn't fight me Bonnie, she – it doesn't matter right now, there's a war coming and it's bigger than anything our world has faced, and it will be here a lot faster if you don't act fast, not against Sabre but against Adonis and now Qetsiyah, and you can't do it alone my love" Bastien bent down to grab Bonnie's face and pull her into a soft kiss.
"I can Bast, and I will, and then I'll stay here with you, until it's time for us to leave, to… to find peace" Bonnie said through her tears.
"My love I would have loved nothing more, but my time, my time is up and you still haven't had your happily ever after, I have and it has been more than worth it, I would not change a thing if it meant I may have had a chance with you, the only and forever love of my life" Bastien wiped a tear off Bonnie's face with his thumb as he smiled down at her.
"I love you so much, and nothing has changed that, how I feel, you gave me a life worth living, you gave me the best life, a daughter" Bonnie began to sob as she fell into Bastien's arms.
"She knows, we had a discussion, she'll be okay, you'll be okay, but Bonnie, you have to forgive yourself, none of this, none of any of this is your fault and you have to promise me something" Bastien pulled away from the hug so he could look into Bonnie's eyes.
"Let yourself get lost in the moment, let yourself be angry, let yourself grieve, but let yourself be happy, let yourself have fun, and let yourself love again" Bastien ordered as he grabbed her face again, rubbing her cheek with his thumb as she softly shook her head no.
"And you have to forgive him" Bastien said as he narrowed his eyes at Bonnie.
"He's the only other person who I have to admit, loves you more if not equally than I do which I know is impossible" Bastien said to Bonnie as she stepped away from his hand.
"I can't, I can't talk about this with you" Bonnie said in a more serious tone to him.
"I know, but it'd be rude if you didn't let a dead man say his piece" Bastien teased earning an eye-roll from Bonnie.
"Not funny" Bonnie retorted.
"Oh, but it kind of is," Bastien said smiling as he pulled her into an embrace.
"I know there are things you need to do, and I won't like it, so I'll be here until you release me from this world, but I won't make myself available to watch you go down the path I know you need to, I just ask that you spare my sister, imprison her, have her stand trial, but please don't kill her, Emeline won't come back from that" Bastien closed his eyes as he continued to hold Bonnie who was now feeling anger.
They both let go of their embrace and gave each other half-assed smiles before Bonnie turned around to leave her psychic world.
"My daughter, you said she helped Emily somehow with the spell, so that means she's okay right, I feel her, that she's okay, I just need to be sure," Bonnie asked Katherine.
"To my knowledge yes, I don't know where she is, but I know Emily wouldn't harm her or have her do anything that would bring her harm," Katherine said trying to read Bonnie's expression.
"No, that's usually reserved for me" Bonnie smiled sarcastically.
"What's the plan? This abandoned hotel is now pretty noticeable with it glowing red, almost like you want to be caught, and I may be stronger than I was before but..I refuse to die without fulfilling my part of the plan." Katherine crossed her arms waiting for Bonnie to respond.
"I can't go back home, not right now, and there are about three powerful people who want me dead, possibly more. We do this my way, I need to learn more about Adonis, his weaknesses, and what he's planning. We need allies, and we need to catch everyone off guard, he'll be expecting me to be angry – which I am, but if Sabre is with him that's what she would tell him, that I would attack head-on so I won't. We go after his followers, I need to know which witches, vampires, werewolves, and other supernatural's betrayed me all these years." Bonnie explained to Katherine who was absorbing the information.
"We're going out" Bonnie ordered which made Katherine smirk.
Bonnie used magic to change herself into a short tight cutout sage green halter dress with heels and bone-straight hair, while Katherine was changed into a short black leather dress and black booties. Bonnie had apparated them outside of the hotel.
"Bonnie Bennett" Kenji admired as he took in Bonnie's appearance before looking over at Katherine.
"Kenji" Bonnie seductively smiled.
"You've created a problem for me by whatever you're doing to this hotel, too many people are asking questions, and now I have to build this place back up because I've been telling people it's a publicity stunt to bring back one of the greatest and expensive hotels." Kenji gave Katherine another lookup and down.
"Yeah..It's not subtle is it" Bonnie turned around to look up at the hotel glowing in red.
"No, and your rules on compulsions make it even harder for us out here" Kenji continued as he furrowed his eyes at Bonnie.
"Ah, well" Bonnie walked up to Kenji and pulled his ear down to her.
"You'll be properly rewarded for following my rules" Bonnie growled into his ear, which made him blush.
"So where are we headed" Kenji looked down at Bonnie.
"To Mika's, my friend, and I here are needing to blow off some steam, you think you can handle that?" Bonnie asked as her mouth curved up into a smile with Katherine following suit.
Kenji sized her up noticing the lack of a ring on Bonnie's finger and her unfamiliar friend who he could tell was also a vampire which intrigued him. Kenji motioned with his head to his car as they both got in. After a decent drive, they made it to a quiet restaurant that was dimly lit. Kenji dropped Bonnie and Katherine off so he could park and meet them inside.
"How did he know it was you?" Katherine asked.
"In the middle of our conversation, I called for him, psychically" Bonnie replied as she pointed to her head and squinted her eyes.
"I have so many questions, I am genuinely intrigued at this new bad-ass Bonnie" Katherine said to Bonnie which made Bonnie smirk as they walked inside and headed straight to the kitchen.
Bonnie gave quick nods to the different restaurant workers who knew who she was and that she was heading to the hidden underground club for supernatural beings.
Through a random door in the wall in the kitchen, Bonnie and Katherine made their way through to the club that was two stories high underground and blaring music.
"I can smell the blood" Katherine said as she closed her eyes and sniffed the air.
"Blood Martinis, I've found ways that vampires can feed, ethically, this blood is freely given by some of the humans that live here and know about vampires, they can be trusted, I made sure of that " Bonnie smirked to herself.
"Over there, that's my section" Bonnie nodded over to a spot downstairs that was roped off.
Katherine immediately noticed the different eyes that were on her and Bonnie as they made their way down to Bonnie's section. Different workers in the club were greeting Bonnie and offered her different finger foods, magical drugs, and drinks. They finally made it to the section and got settled as they finally ordered drinks and blood for Katherine.
Kenji had finally caught up with the girls as he made his way down to the section.
"I have to ask, what brings you over here, don't you have an event going on back in France?" Kenji asked over the loud music.
"Mmm I just needed to get out and get some fresh air for the night, and it's been a while since I've seen you" Bonnie placed her hand on his thigh as she leaned in to talk to him.
"Nah I'm not buying that, where's the husband? Kenji asked as he leaned back against the couch they were on.
"Can you keep a secret?" Bonnie said over the music into Kenji's ear, he nodded yes in response.
"We're done" Bonnie continued which shocked Kenji.
"No way" He responded as his eyes widened.
"Yeah, his bitch of a sister got in this weird cult thing that put me and our daughter in danger and it was the last straw for me, I really feel like she'll kill me one day and he'd take her side even then" Bonnie gave him an eye roll at the fabricated story.
"Yeah she's been running with some weird crowds, I've seen her here a few times with them" Kenji recounted.
"Do you remember who?" Bonnie asked.
Kenji laughed before he replied.
"Nah I'm not getting in the middle of that family drama"
Katherine audibly said "oh my god" as she was growing annoyed at the conversation and quickly hopped up on his lap and grabbed his face and pulled him into a kiss which he returned and she quickly let go but stayed in his face.
"Tell me everything you know about her sister–in–law's weird reject group of friends" Katherine ordered as she compelled the vampire.
"Sabre was with a witch named Anika, and three werewolves from London and tried to recruit some of my guys who complain about the control Bonnie has on supernatural's who want to live as the natural predators they are, they were planning an attack on the Gala to kill as many of Bonnie's allies as possible – wait why am I telling you this, how did you, did you compel me?!" Kenji tried to hide his fear knowing that Bonnie now knows he knew about the attack but didn't stop anything.
Kenji tried to get up but realized he couldn't move. Bonnie caused time to go slow for everyone but her Kenji and Katherine.
"Kenji, I'm not going to punish you for this information, I knew you were a sore loser back when I chose to spend my time with Ewan and not you, so this is why you're going to be useful, you're going to take me and Katherine to London" Bonnie ordered, Bonnie then looked over at Katherine who nodded at an order that went unsaid.
"You will take us to London tomorrow and not tell a soul about the conversation we had tonight nor about the trip to London" Katherine said to Kenji. Bonnie then made time catch back up to itself.
Kenji looked like he saw a ghost as he took a slow sip of his blood martini while Katherine and Bonnie finally let loose so they could enjoy themselves and dance.

Damon and the crew finally made it to Bonnie's house which was highly protected by magic.
"She taught me the spell to disarm the house so we can go in it's okay," Emeline told the group as they got out of the car before heading inside as they noticed the invisible forcefield around it.
Emeline quickly said the spell to lower the magical shield so they could go inside. One by one they went inside until Stefan and Lexi tried to walk in but couldn't, Damon was still looking outside of the house. He had often visited the house in his old age, especially when he missed the scent of Bonnie. He remembered the rare times she would stay at the house, and she'd make him a terrible lunch as she tended to her garden.
"We need to be invited in" Lexi said to Stefan and Emeline, this brought Damon back to the present.
"Oh wow, I forgot all about that, uhm I can channel my mom to see if she can do it from wherever she's at" Emeline explained.
Damon and Lexi both answered at the same time with Damon saying no and Lexi saying yes.
"Damon, we can't stay out here where we're vulnerable" Stefan explained.
"We don't know what she is doing or what she is up against right now, so no we aren't distracting her or putting her in danger by channeling her to invite us in" Damon explained annoyed.
Emeline closed her eyes anyways to see if she could reach her mom and only got flashes of building lights, Elena's face, a man she didn't know, and werewolves in London.
"I..I can't reach her, she's blocked me out but there's something about London? She may be going to London?" Emeline tried to decipher the flashes of imagery and conversation.
"London..why London?" Damon questioned as he furrowed his brows.
"One of the attackers, Em I recognized them, Daniel, from a powerful coven in London, they have a heretic as their leader, they're a mix of witches, werewolves, and some vampires for muscle, she may be stronger but they're incredibly organized, stealthy, and resourceful which makes them lethal, if a siphoner gets just the tiniest bit of her magic it would be chaos" Lana mentioned as she walked up to the door behind Emeline.
"We're going to London" Damon stated as he looked at Emeline.
"How genius? We're dead with none of our resources anymore, I'm assuming Caroline has control over Stefan's resources and your kids, possibly their kids have control over yours, and we need blood" Lexi said as she glanced over to Stefan.
Emeline and Lana looked at each other and nodded.
"Ash! Get your ass down here and out of Bonnie's closet" Lana yelled from the front door.
"Coming!" Ash ran down the stairs in Bonnie's Forest green peacoat.
"Looks good on you, maybe a little hot for it, but I guess" Lana teased as she admired the coat Ash had on, which made Ash embarrassed that she still had it on so she took it off and handed it to Eamon as he looked at it wondering what he was supposed to do with it.
"You guys don't have to; I can do it" Emeline said softly as she looked between her friends.
"No shot, I get the chance to be fed on by vampires we can trust, and Ash already called dibs on Grandpa Damon" Lana chuckled as Ash elbowed her. Damon let out a deep sigh.
"You can just get a cup and put some in there, no need to get weird" Lexi said trying to keep her facial expressions neutral.
"No, I'll need to practice drinking from the vein, to see if anything has changed" Stefan calmly stated, earning a look from Damon.
"No nuh uh, I'm coming out there, and if you make one wrong move I will put you on your ass quicker than you can sink your fangs in deeper. " Eamon pushed himself out the front door to stand in front of the three vampires.
"He's good, I trust him" Emeline said as she walked past Eamon toward Stefan.
"He won't hurt me" Emeline looked at Stefan and felt his emotions and how well he was hiding how scared he was in that moment, Emeline used some of her empath abilities to calm him and help him to trust her too.
Lana walked toward Lexi and Ash towards Damon, Lana teased Ash and told her "Wrist only" which caused her and Lexi to laugh as Ash rolled her eyes.
"You're okay" Emeline said calmly as she lifted her wrist to Stefan, Eamon watching intensely.
Stefan opened his mouth, closed his eyes, and felt the familiar feeling of having blood resting on the tip of his tongue and filling his mouth.
"Brother" Damon said as he was eyeing the scene.
"He's okay Damon" Lexi interjected.
Stefan finally sunk his teeth into Emeline's wrist and groaned at the taste and the smell of Emeline's magical blood, Damon closed his eyes to the scent in the air as he was reminded of how Bonnie's smelled, not quite the same but similar.
Emeline placed her other hand on Stefan's side for stability which made Eamon have a tighter grip on his weapon. Before Stefan slowly felt himself getting lost in the act of drinking Emeline's blood he let go and bit his wrist to give his blood to Emeline.
Damon looked at his brother concerned, wondering what he was thinking and feeling.
"See, he's okay" Lexi looked relieved and smiled at Stefan who now had tears in his eyes.
Emeline gave Stefan a warm smile before wiping his blood off her mouth, Stefan did the same and mouthed "thank you" to Em before they turned their attention to Lexi drinking Lana's blood and Damon drinking Ash's.
Damon didn't want to lie to himself about missing how he would feel drinking blood from the source, he made sure to play into Ash's crush on him and grabbed her by the waist to bring her closer to him and then winked at her as he gave her his blood to heal her, Ash felt like she could pass out at any moment, not from the act of giving and receiving blood, but from being so close to Damon.
"Now that we have that out of the way," Damon said still looking at Ash and smiling before looking up at Emeline.
"Can you send us to London with a spell?" Damon changed his expression to a more serious one.
"Not all of us, I've only done it with three people including myself, max" Emeline frowned as she felt the insecurity of not being strong enough again.
"Take Stefan and Damon, Em, we'll catch a flight tomorrow, and my grandpa will help get us all passports, hunters have good connections" Lana placed her hands on her hips, Emeline knew she wouldn't let her say no.
"I'll help protect them should anything happen between now and meeting back up with you all, my connections in London may still be good, they were good vampires and stayed out of trouble, they run a pub there called Hells Bells – " Before Lexi could finish, Ash and Lana burst into laughter which made Emeline blush and roll her eyes.
"Yeah we may have been there once or twice" Emeline said shyly.
"I- I don't even want to know, either way, they'll help you, tell them I sent you and I'm back so no need to murder this guy" Lexi gestured her head towards Damon as she looked at him and winked.
"Okay, that settles it, when do we leave," Stefan said to Emeline changing the subject.
"I'll pack a bag, I'll get you both a change of clothes too," Emeline said as she looked between Stefan and Damon, not wanting to think too hard about how her dad wouldn't need them anymore.
"We'll help!" Ash chimed in; Lana agreed.
"I'll stay right here" Eamon stated still eyeing the three vampires.
The girls all quickly ran up the stairs leaving Stefan, Damon, and Lexi in the front yard.
"Proud of you brother," Damon said as he walked over to Stefan to pat and squeeze his shoulder.
"Yeah, I still don't trust it though, so I don't want to do that again unless I have to" Stefan looked between Damon and Lexi as he thought that maybe that time was a fluke and wouldn't happen again.
"Have you guys thought about what it will be like to see Bonnie and Caroline again?" Lexi curiously asked.
"Since the moment I came back, every other thought is about seeing Caroline again" Stefan admitted.
"What about you? You still have a family here too." Lexi and Stefan both turned their attention to Damon.
"I'm keeping my family out of it, when it's safer when this is over, I'll check on them, Elena has that covered from the beyond" Damon pursed his lips thinking about what he said.
"And Bonnie?" Lexi continued not giving up on hearing Damon's answer.
"And Bonnie.." Before Damon finished his sentence Emeline interrupted.
"Okay everything we need is in here, are you ready Uncle Damon and Uncle Stefan? I'm glad I get to finally meet you again, I've seen you around Aunt Caroline, she still brings you up every chance she can get, I promise I'll bring you to her when we can" Emeline shot Stefan an empathetic look and he nodded, thankful to be back and getting a second chance to do everything right.
"All right kiddos, we got it here and we'll meet up soon" Lexi gave Stefan a hug and Damon a pat on the back.
Emeline told Damon and Stefan to hold on to her as she said her spell. Emeline quickly incanted her spell and the three of them suddenly appeared in the middle of the Hells Bells Pub in London.

Bonnie and Katherine stumbled their way into the bathroom of the underground club.
"Kenji's hot" Katherine exclaimed as they made it into the bathroom.
"Go for it" Bonnie responded as she admired herself in the mirror.
"He's great in bed, a little clingy, but he gets where you need to go" Bonnie turned to Katherine and smirked.
"Wow, I'm just learning so many new things I like about you every minute, you used to be such a bore, I told Elijah once that I didn't understand the hype around Elena, you guys were both incredibly dull but you, you are arguably the hottest out of the bunch, I've seen Damon and Stefan catch themselves eyeing you," Katherine said as she fluffed her hair in the mirror.
The moment Katherine said Damon's name, Bonnie felt her heart skip a beat and the world around her became dizzying, alerting Katherine who caught an almost falling Bonnie.
"Damon" Bonnie said softly as she shook her head.
"Okay, it's time to go, we've had enough debauchery tonight" Katherine ordered as she threw Bonnie's arm over her shoulder to help drag her to a seating area.
"They can't see you like this, I'll grab Kenji-" Katherine felt Bonnie grab onto her arm.
"No I'm fine, It was nothing, it was nothing" Bonnie felt like she was trying to convince herself more than she was trying to convince Katherine.
"We are going to London, I have a safe house there, let's go get Kenji" Bonnie stood up gaining control over herself again as Katherine took a deep sigh and headed out the door with Bonnie.

"Well well well, look what the cat brought in, it's like I'm looking at two ghosts, am I?" Noah the Scottish bartender and owner said to Stefan and Damon.
"Noah" Stefan said greeting the bartender.
"And you, you know you're traveling with two of the most dangerously dumb vampires, pretty lady" Noah continued as he winked and smiled at Emeline.
"Hi Noah" Emeline smiled at Noah and then looked up at a scowling Damon.
"Lexi said you can help us" Damon stated as he walked up to the bar to sit down, Stefan and Emeline following with their luggage.
"What year is it? I am thoroughly confused, Lexi? My Lexi? The one I'm assuming died because she couldn't let either of you go?" Noah asked as he filled up their glasses of bourbon, remembering that was Stefan's favorite.
"She's back, we're back it's a heartwarming family reunion, we're needing to know the best ways to get in touch with a certain heretic ran coven," Damon said before taking a sip of his bourbon.
Noah looked at the three of them.
"Not in here and not right now, go upstairs, to my home and I'll be there in a moment, Em will show you the way" Noah smiled at Emeline which made Damon furrow his brows looking between the two.
"Whatever you're thinking, no, never happened, okay? Let's go" Emeline said as she hopped off the stool and patted Damon's back.
"It's on the house, it's not every day I get to serve two twice dead men" Noah stated to Damon and Stefan before they made their way past the other supernatural patrons to the back of the bar to head up the stairs.

Bonnie, Katherine, and Kenji made it inside Bonnie's and Bastien's London safe home that was in a luxury apartment building.
"We don't have food, but we have extra bedrooms and clothes, pick whatever room you want I don't care" Bonnie ordered to Katherine and Kenji as she walked towards the kitchen to pour herself a glass of bourbon.
Bonnie took a moment to breathe as she took a sip of her bourbon, trying to make sense of the last couple of days, the last couple of years really. As her brain began to relax, more memories of Damon that were buried deep came forth as well as everything she had read in his journals.
Bonnie chugged the glass before pouring herself another, trying not to feel all the conflicting emotions she was feeling.
"You can turn it off too Bonnie" Katherine said as she was walking towards Bonnie eying her current state.
"I don't know what's going on but I know enough to know that even badass Bonnie has a bleeding heart, and with that, can get in the way of what we're trying to do, I know vaguely about the ancient coven leaders, but if the immortality spell was modeled after their abilities, and you now have their blood, you can turn it off" Katherine got closer to Bonnie and took the glass out of her hand and placed it onto the counter.
"Is that not an easy way out, cowardly" Bonnie muttered, her eyes glazed over the room around her.
"It is, but a lot has happened from what you've told me, and the fact you haven't burned everything down shows that you are not and never would be a coward, and I can't have my strongest and only ally falling apart, I can't die, not yet anyway" Katherine shuttered at the thought of going back to where she was after dying with Stefan in hellfire.
"You're strong enough to put it back on when you subconsciously know you need to," Katherine said as she placed a section of Bonnie's hair behind her back.
Bonnie thought about it and knew Katherine was correct regardless of if her assessment came from self-preservation, Bonnie knew she didn't have the time to think about everything and process everything and it was all slowly eating her from the inside out.
"Okay" Bonnie said as she closed her eyes and found the part of her brain to turn it off. Once she turned her emotions off, she opened her eyes and looked at Katherine, and smiled. Bonnie grabbed Katherine's hand as she walked toward the room Kenji was in.
"Some privacy would be nice" Kenji said as he was putting on his pants from taking a quick shower.
"I wasn't sure if both of you would be hungry or not," Bonnie said as she sat on the bed and crossed her legs earning a quick turn around and look from Kenji and Katherine.
"I could definitely eat," a reluctant Kenji said as he ran his hand through his wet hair.
"Me too" Katherine agreed as she walked closer to Bonnie.
Bonnie moved her hair to the side freeing the left side of her neck and she slightly moved her head to her right shoulder to free her vein so that both Kenji and Katherine could hear and smell the blood coursing through her veins.
Kenji moved closer to Bonnie and sat down next to her, and Katherine moved and sat down on her knees grabbing Bonnie's right wrist.
"Are you sure" Kenji whispered onto Bonnie's neck as Bonnie took his head with her left hand to press his lips into her skin.
Kenji sunk his teeth into her neck at the same time as Katherine who sunk her teeth into Bonnie's wrist which caused Bonnie to close her eyes as she felt the groans from Kenji vibrate onto her neck as he fed from her.
Katherine and Bonnie were still in their dresses from the club, Kenji found the tie to the top of Bonnie's halter dress and untied it freeing her erect nipples as she groaned as they hit the cool air. Katherine let go of Bonnie's wrist and looked up at the scene of Kenji lapping up her neck and kissing it at the same time.
Bonnie looked down at Katherine and felt that Katherine was not sure what to do next.
"You can leave, or you can stay, but if you stay you need to do your best at making me not think of anything else but what's happening now," Bonnie said in a sultry tone as Kenji was holding her up.
Katherine gave a devilish smile as she stood up to step out of her dress and climb onto the bed.
Kenji smiled and focused on Katherine climbing into the bed which made him step out of the pants he had just put on. Once Kenji was fully on the bed, he pulled a smirking Bonnie in between him and Katherine.

"Thanks for waiting up for me here, I never know these days who is associated with whom and I'd like for it to stay that way, that coven you speak of has a lot of pull and power these days, I'm afraid your mom flew too close to the sun thinking she can create some type of peace and camaraderie between the supernaturals" Noah shot Emeline a sympathetic look.
"Where can we find them, we think Bonnie is here to find them, and if she knows anyone is trying to hide the people who want to harm her and her family, you will wish it was me who could've offered a quick death, so do you want to do this the hard way or the easy way?" Damon said scowling at Noah.
"What makes you think you of all people have any authority over me, you're in my world Damon," Noah said standing straight up as he stepped closer to Damon causing Stefan and Emeline to both stand up next to Damon.
Damon vamp sped to grab Noah by his throat and slam him into the brick wall causing the wall to crack. Noah tried to wiggle out of Damon's hold but couldn't.
"Damon, you can compel him" Stefan said softly as he eyed Noah losing oxygen quickly.
Damon slammed Noah's head into the wall again.
"Where is the coven that is conspiring against Bonnie and her family," Damon said still with a tight grip on Noah's neck compelling him.
"A lot of them are here right now, including myself," Noah said reluctantly wondering how Damon was compelling him. His confession also earned a gasp from Emeline.
"You will not move a muscle as I kill every single low life downstairs singlehandedly, and when I get back, you will tell me where I can find more and what you know," Damon ordered earning a nod from Noah.
"Some of them left when they heard the first bang, I'll spell the doors shut" Emeline said to Damon before shooting Noah a disapproving look.
Stefan looked out the window and saw the different patrons leaving before Emeline could spell the doors shut. Once Emeline incanted the spell, Damon vamp sped downstairs, and immediately the sounds of glass breaking, and screams occurred as he ripped hearts out and snapped necks.
Noah was seething.
"You don't stand a chance, once they know what you've done, you all have made it so much worse for yourselves" Noah glared between Emeline and Stefan, Emeline became angry and suddenly made the skin on Noah burst into flames, which cause Noah to scream in agony.
"No!" Stefan yelled, but before Damon made it up and Emeline could stop, Noah had burst into flames catching the surrounding wood and alcohol to catch on fire.
"We're leaving.. now" Damon growled looking at the room above the pub now roaring with fire. Stefan grabbed Emeline and vamp sped with Damon out of the bar.
When they made it out, Emeline locked eyes with a familiar face who quickly turned around and ran.
"I know where we need to go" Emeline stated as she looked where one of her former friends had stood before running away.
"I hope you two like dancing," Emeline spoke again as she looked up at Stefan and Damon who groaned at the thought.

Bonnie slowly woke up and felt both Kenji and Katherine wrapped up around her. She thought at another time she'd feel guilty about the tryst for more reasons than one, but she didn't feel anything but how good it felt to think and feel something other than pain, at least pain that she didn't welcome.
Bonnie used her magic to lift their arms off her so she could get up, and head into the other room. The coolness of the black marble tile gave her goosebumps throughout her bare body. She thought about going into the room she and Bastien shared but decided against it and went into another spare room to jump in the shower.
She welcomed the warm water that hit her skin and lathered the soap from her feet to her face. She was remembering the bits and pieces from the night before and should've felt a type of way of sleeping with both Katherine and Kenji but didn't, in fact, it was the first time in a while she hadn't thought about Damon or Bastien. Damon..she pondered on the thought and thought about the times she gripped Kenji's black hair and wondered what it would have been like to fully be with Damon that way, devouring each other. Before getting lost in her memories, scared it would make her feel again she stepped out of the shower and dried off before lathering her body with lotion and her favorite perfume.
She put on her robe and walked into the kitchen to make herself some coffee, realizing it was a little past midnight.
"You need to eat" She heard Kenji say as he was coming up behind her.
"Mmm I've had plenty" She turned around to take in Kenji's perfectly sculpted body that she devoured hours prior.
"However, a place came to me in my dream, I know where it's at, downtown London, all night, night club for supernatural's and humans, it's called "No man's Land", you know the place?" Bonnie asked knowing that Kenji would, so she was hoping he'd be honest with her now.
"Yes, I have connections out there, you going there however, being who you are will raise quite a few red flags" Kenji stated, Bonnie felt he was telling the truth and nodded along in thought.
"You and Katherine go, I know their leader won't be somewhere she would be easily found after the attack on the gala, once you find out a lead, I'll find her myself," Bonnie said as she continued to make her coffee.
"Can I kiss you?" Kenji asked, wanting to know how long this side of Bonnie was going to last.
Bonnie laughed and then looked him directly in the eye.
"No, now get to work, I will be waiting up," Bonnie said seriously as she walked past him.

"I compelled us a hotel room, we can get changed there," Damon said as he met back up with Emeline and Stefan at a late-night chicken shop.
"How many nights?" Stefan asked.
"Once Lana comes back with the passports and everything, we can buy ourselves one tomorrow, my parents had a safe house somewhere here, but I was never allowed to know exactly where I bet that's where my mom would stay if she's here" Emeline stated before taking another bite of her fries.
Emeline felt Damon's heart race at the mention of Bonnie, no longer wanting to beat around the bush Emeline felt it was time to finally ask.
"Uncle Damon?" Emeline asked, closing her container of chicken and fries.
"Yes?" Damon answered as he pulled out the chair in between her and Stefan.
"Did you and my mom have like a thing? It's okay if you did, It would honestly explain a lot actually" Emeline gave a half smile hoping that she didn't make things weird, which Stefan's smirking didn't help.
"A thing? What are we 16?" Damon asked, which made Stefan laugh.
"Well!" Emeline exclaimed.
"We were adults who made choices, some freely and some were forced if I had to do it all over again, I'd choose to let the world burn so we could both be selfish and consume each other" Damon said matter of fact which made Emeline choke on her sprite.
"I owe Lana $200" Emeline said out loud to herself in response.
"Have you thought about what seeing her will do to both of you Damon? Your impulse control as a vampire has consistently proven to be problematic" Stefan played around with his fries while eyeing his brother.
"Based on what," Damon asked defensively, which caused Emeline and Stefan to both look at each other and then at Damon.
"Based on, I don't know, your entire previous life?" Stefan replied.
"We're starting fresh Stefan, you were able to control yourself feeding from the vein, I'll be able to control my impulses and focus on the mission. Plus, I have no idea how she feels at the moment" Damon replied, recounting in his mind that he in their world hadn't been dead for a while before being brought back to life, so his death, Elena's, and Bastien's death are fresh on Bonnie's mind.
"She was devasted when you died, my dad tried to play it off that it was Aunt Elena's death that made her almost catatonic, but I'm smarter than they both think I am when it comes to how well I know them both. Your black shirt, she wore it often, and when it became unwearable, she kept the fabric close to her, almost like a security blanket, so seeing what you're wearing now, it's not hard to put two and two together" Emeline explained earning solemn looks from Damon and Stefan.
"Anyway, we have to get ready quickly, everyone starts arriving around 1 am, and there will be a lot of talk about Hells Bells and who is responsible for it" Emeline picked up her trash and Stefan's before they all headed out to go to the hotel to get ready.

Kenji and Katherine both walked into "No Man's Land", the hidden two-story speakeasy for supernaturals and humans. Katherine immediately noticed the drugs, alcohol, and humans being fed on as they walked in.
"Take my hand, anyone who looks that good is not safe here, super vamped up or not" Kenji warned Katherine as she took his hand and walked through the seedy club that was dark and filled with neon lights and a big screen that sat behind the DJ.
Katherine followed behind him before Kenji ran into some old associates and sat in their section. Kenji played it cool and acted as if Katherine was his girlfriend, which she didn't mind. She knew they'd be there for a while so to not act suspicious they didn't bring up anything about the coven. Katherine had on skin-tight black denim jeans with booties and a see-through black sheer high-neck top that had lacy snake decals that perfectly covered her chest.
Emeline, Stefan, and Damon arrived shortly after, Emeline spotted her ex-friend and told Damon and Stefan that she needed to speak to her as they went around for any clues. With the way the women and some men were looking at Damon and Stefan, Emeline knew it would be easy for them to gather information as she went to do her own ret-con.
The DJ was playing popular songs from the past 150 or so years to satisfy the different supernatural beings that had been alive for decades and centuries in attendance. "Heads Will Roll" remix came on which made Katherine want to get up and dance while Kenji was still talking to his old associates.
"I'll be back, I'm going to find a vein to tap" Katherine said to Kenji over the loud music, Kenji nodded and then leaned in to give Katherine a kiss before she got up to the dance floor.
Katherine was dancing with a group of humans and one of them offered up a vein for her which she gladly took, as she was sinking her teeth into the vein she looked up and saw Damon and Stefan at the second-floor bar, she immediately let go.
"No fucking way," she said out loud to herself as she wiped her mouth. She quickly grabbed a drink one of the humans was drinking to chug it and find her way upstairs.
Pursuit of Happiness then came on which was fitting as Katherine began to feel almost too good from whatever was in that drink, or it could've been the drugs in the blood she just had. She slowly made her way up the stairs elbowing her way through the people as she got closer to Damon and Stefan who were deep in conversation with each other at the bar. It was Stefan who first saw Katherine and then immediately froze in surprise, shock, and horror which prompted Damon to turn around.
"Katherine? No fucking way" Damon exclaimed which caused Stefan to become confused at how Damon knew it was Katherine and not Elena.
"One and only" Katherine replied in equal shock.
"Wait, how did you know, and then in general, how?" Stefan frantically questioned Damon.
"Yeah, Elena may have given me a heads up and I assumed maybe it wasn't a thing since she didn't come back with us and Lexi, so I didn't want to freak you out like I can see you're doing now" Damon responded as Stefan looked at Katherine in horror and anger.
"I think I may be tripping, very very hard right now" Katherine slurred as her eyes became glazed over.
"Come with us" Damon very annoyed, ordered as he grabbed Katherine's hand. They went to find a section in the club that was as quiet as possible.
"Explain.. NOW" Stefan ordered as Katherine was gaining back her composure.
"I'm sorry was it not you who sent me to something worse than hell? I should be asking the same exact fucking thing" Katherine yelled back.
"Emily, she sent us back to protect Bonnie's daughter" Damon explained watching Katherine's face put the different pieces together.
"No shit, she sent me to help Bonnie" Katherine laughed to herself taking in the very confused and angry expressions on Stefan and Damon's face.
"Where is she then, I doubt a fucked-up Katherine is what they meant when they sent you of all people" Stefan retorted, visibly angry.
"Well, she sent me and her boy toy to get information on some heretic-led coven, she's waiting for us" Katherine looked between Damon and Stefan trying to read their expressions.
"Boy toy?" Damon asked furrowing his brows and scowling. Katherine knows Damon so well that she didn't need to read his mind to know how he felt.
"Wow, this is telling, and very interesting, Damon.. are you jealous?" Katherine asked as she poked Damon in his abs causing him to quickly pin her up against a wall. Katherine let him think for just a moment that they weren't evenly matched because she was having too much fun.
"Where..is.. she" Damon growled still pinning Katherine up on the wall.
"She's safe, she had a very long day, I can still taste her on my tongue and I don't mean just her blood" Katherine whispered in his ear.
Damon tried to break her neck, but Katherine quickly matched his strength and pinned him to the wall.
"This is a warning, to both of you, don't fuck with me, and I won't fuck with you, if you're here with her daughter then we have similar wants and needs, the enemy of my enemy is my friend, no?" Katherine let Damon go before turning her attention to Stefan.
"I will never forget or forgive what you did to me Stefan, so I would tread lightly" Katherine threatened Stefan.
"Take me to her Katherine" Damon demanded.
"Damon we can't get distracted, I doubt she would want to know we have her daughter here, if she's here it means whom she's looking for is more dangerous than we realize," Stefan said trying to ignore Katherine's presence and talk Damon down from whatever emotional ledge he was currently on.
"Stefan, go find Emeline, see if she found anything, tell her what we found out from the bartender, and take her back to the hotel" Damon ordered.
"Damon –" Stefan started to say
"Now" Damon demanded as a very amused Katherine looked on.
Stefan gave Damon a stern look before vamp speeding away from Damon and Katherine.
"If you don't mind me asking – " Katherine looked up at Damon.
"I do mind, let's go" Damon looked down and shot Katherine a sarcastic smile before getting serious again as she rolled her eyes and turned around so he would follow her.
Damon followed Katherine back down the stairs to Kenji who was now alone.
"I found out what we needed let's go" Kenji said to Katherine, ignoring Damon who was standing next to her.
"I found something too, she'll want us to bring him to her I promise" Katherine narrowed her eyes at Kenji who looked apprehensive but knew he could either listen to Katherine or be compelled to.
"Okay," Kenji and Damon, both looked each other up and down before standing up to head out of the club with Damon and Katherine following behind.
Once they were in the car, it was complete silence with Katherine glancing in the rearview mirror at Damon, with more questions than answers about what she has put together in her mind.
Once they parked, they made their way into the building where Bonnie's penthouse was.
Bonnie had stood at the window with a glass of bourbon in her hand, dressed in a long sleek black dress with a high slit and heels, ready to go out if she needed to.
The walk and elevator ride to the penthouse felt like it took 100 years for Damon, there were a million thoughts running through his mind, and he didn't know what kind of situation or Bonnie he was walking into.
Once the door opened to the hallway of the penthouse, Katherine lead Kenji and Damon down the hallway to the door. Katherine scanned the key card to open the door. Bonnie didn't turn around until she heard extra footsteps. As she turned around, she saw Katherine first, then Kenji, and then she and Damon locked eyes.
"Bonnie" Damon stated as he looked directly into her green eyes from across the room.
I am screaming at some of these turn of events!
