ch:5 the events before UA

On the drive home from the date, Himiko watched as Izuku jumped around and ran all the way home like a silly fool. She giggled at his antics.

"I take it that things went well?"

"Most definitely!" Himiko was all fangirl over him. Then suddenly she remembered one thing. "Oh! And thank you all for protecting us from those mean boys."

Ryuko slightly loses control of the car after hearing that. She turns to her in shock. "What?! How did you know?!"

Himiko then points her finger out to the culprit. "Auntie Shino did."

"Snitch!" Tomoko playfully shouts.

Ryuko turns over to her closest friend in disbelief.

Shino partly hid her face from her friend. "I told her after we decided to protect her from those boys. I didn't want it to ruin the moment for them."

Ryuko kept on driving ahead, taking in the information she was given. "You knew, and you still went ahead to tell us everything."

"Yeah, I had never really talked about how I felt with you all before. I figure I should let you all know while I have the chance."

After hearing that, Ryuko began to feel calm now that the secret was out. She went ahead and tried to have a normal conversation. "So. what did you two talk about while I was getting the car?"

"I told him that once I become my own hero, I will reveal my quirk to everyone. Proving that anyone can be who they want to be."

"That's a noble goal." her mother simply told her, looking forward to the day where her daughter becomes that person. "Anything else?"

"Uhh… no."

Ryuko notices the slight hesitation. Shino knew about it, but didn't know how to start. Tomoko however, just straight up told her.

"Himiko's boyfriend has a mentor who's quirk can be passed down to other people."

Ryuko once again lost control of the steering wheel. Causing the car to swell around a bit. Shino then had enough.

"Ryuko! Please pull over, I'll drive!"

(A few hours later)

Somewhere in the quiet home of Japan's number one hero. All Might was enjoying his peaceful night taking a relaxing bubble bath. After a long and stressful patrol. He was trying to enjoy the little moments. Especially now that he's going to be looking over his new chosen successor.

For once he felt like he could relax knowing that he has chosen a worthy, reliable person for the role.

* I AM HERE-I AM HERE *

He raised his head up to see his phone was ringing next to him. He picks it up to see who it was.

"Hello?"

On the other side of the line was Ryuko, she was calling from home base along with Himiko and Shino in the living room.

"All Might, this is Ryuko."

"Tsuchikawa? Is something wrong?"

"Depends. Do you happen to know a boy named Izuku Midoryia?"

All Might became very surprised to hear that boy's name. "How do you know that name?"

(the next day)

Izuku headed out to the beach to begin his days of training with All Might. He had never felt so refreshed in all his life.

Last night has completely changed his entire worldview. Giving him a lot more to look forward to. No matter what happens from here on out, he'll take on whatever life tries to throw at him. Nothing will ruin his mood.

At that moment, he saw All Might standing by, waiting for him. For some reason, his face looks slightly more strict than usual. It made Izuku feel a little uneasy looking at him, especially after sharing an important secret yesterday. But surely he just looks like that because he wants to be very serious about his training.

"Been sharing secrets have we?" All Might started, going straight to the point.

Those few words suddenly put Izuku into an intense fear like no other. "I'm sorry, what?!"

"I got word that you have shared our secret on your little date yesterday. Mind telling me what's that all about?"

Izuku's face now became beyond terrified as he was in fact, not ready for this.

Seeing the boy in front of him scared, All Might put him in ease. "No need to be scared, I just want to hear your story. That's all."

Being confronted like this, Izuku started to tell him everything about how his date went down yesterday. Leaving almost nothing out, except the name of Himiko and her quirk.

All Might just listened to him. He made no judgments, his face remained unchanged throughout the entire time.

Then he got to the point of what made him tell Himiko his secret.

"After we stopped by the park, we began to talk about very personal matters. Things that have affected us deeply. She even told me her deepest secret. When she told me, I felt very honored for her to trust me.

"The reason why I told her, is because I felt really serious about her. But she already knew that I'm quirkless, and I didn't know how to bring it up. I could never think of lying to her." the boy continues as he pours all his feelings into these last words. "I…I love her."

All Might still Showing no emotions heard what needed to be said. "Alright, that's enough."

Now Izuku waits to see what his hero will do next, and he is trembling with fear.

"Calm yourself now, you're not in trouble."

"i'm not?"

"No. Not any more. I just want to get both your stories straight first." All might turn his head to a different direction, "alright! You can all come out now!"

Izuku turns to where his hero was looking at, then that's when he saw people were coming out from hiding. The whole Wild Wild pussycat team were here, along with them was Himiko. Her face was bright red after hearing him say those three last words.

Izuku also realizes this, as his face also becomes red. He turns to All Might, waiting for what he would say next.

Then Himiko walks over silently, as she then stops next to Izuku. "My family was spying on us the entire time yesterday.

"We told you! We were about to stop!" yelled the cat mother.

Himiko then continued. "They knew about All Might's secret and told him."

After being briefly explained, the boy now gets how his hero found out. He then faces back to All Might, who begins to talk more.

"Look, I have a handful of people who know both my secret, and this quirk. And that includes parts of her family. I can't expect you to keep it a secret forever. I can't expect that. But what I am hoping is that the people you chose to tell are reliable."

"She's reliable!" Izuku quickly yells, causing Himiko to be touched after hearing him defend her.

"And I ain't denying that, especially after hearing both your stories. I can understand why you told her." All Might sigh as he thinks about it. "But now, I got to let her and Tomoko Shiretoko in on this to show how important this is."

"I'm sorry."

"Don't be. It was going to be inevitable that people closest to you would question how you acquire a quirk. And asking you to lie for me wouldn't be heronlike of me. But next time, just ask me about it."

"R-Right!"

"You know, I did have the intent to chew you out when I first heard. But after knowing everything, I'll let young Tsuchikawa know, so you'll have someone to talk to for moral support."

After hearing those words, Izuku felt a sense of relief, brushing over his shoulders. "Thanks for understanding! All Might!"

"Yeah. Oh, and by the way," both of the teens look up to him when All Might transforms into his buff form as he continues. "I congratulate you both! I expect great things from you two!"

To think that he would try to turn the recent stressful situation he just built up into a celebration was beyond them all.

After all was said was done, Himiko was getting ready to go back home with her family. Now that things were all clear up, she was free to go. Not before Izuku had a talk with her first.

Safe to say, she had a lot on her mind. "When you told me that this training was very important to you, I would never have expected to be this big. All Might?! His Quirk?!"

After everything that has happened, Izuku was now happy to have someone to talk to about it. "I know, I hardly believed it myself. Now that you know what I have to do now. What do you think?"

When she was asked that, Himiko spoke out her feelings. "All Might couldn't have picked the most perfect and cutest person for the job."

Once he heard that complement, the boy lost all composure. "Wow, that's one way to put it."

"Really, especially after all the All Might much Merchandise in your room, I bet you're really happy about this."

"Yeah, who would have thought, right? And now I have a chance to be just like my hero."

"Just like him?"

Izuku nods at her. "Can you imagine that?"

Himiko took a moment to visualize what Izuku would look like with All Might's body. She was both terrified and mesmerized at the same time. "That would be… an interesting look on you."

*Honk Honk*

Both teens saw that Himiko's family was calling for their special member.

"Guess it's time for me to leave. Good luck on your training!" Himiko ran to the car, waving Izuku goodbye.

The boy watches her leave, glad to have her know about his situation. Now that the air is clear, he can now focus on his training without any worry at all.

(Many Months later)

Over the course of the year, Izuku became busy training to enter US with All Might. Himiko wants nothing more than to be supportive and cheer him on. Even if it means less time in person together for the whole year. Because by the end, they would be together in UA.

school has been rater better since then. bakugo and the other two bullies has left him alone. making his last year easy to managed.

Himiko would also focus on herself. training and studying to better hone in on her skills, to become the hero that she inspires, and to work up the courage to be truthful on who she really is.

At first glance there were some fears of how this kind of situation would work. But after a while, they found that there's nothing to be worried about.

Thanks to online electronics, they agreed to talk to each other by night time. Occasionally on special days, they would meet face to face for some love and affection.

Especially on holidays, they would make time to meet, without any expectation. And so was the case on this particular holiday.

Izuku awoke on the morning of Christmas Eve and checked his phone. He awaits a text message from Himiko to see if she's coming online for a chat. Seconds later, he had received a text from her and Izuku immediately started up his computer for a video chat.

"Morning Izuku, Merry Christmas."

"Good morning, merry Christmas to you too."

The two have gotten much closer over the months. Now they have become comfortable talking to each other.

They merely wish each other a happy holiday, as they talk more about how they spend the holidays.

Having parties, enjoying holiday specials, and all the tasty snacks.

Soon after, Himiko then asked what he would do on the holidays with his led to Himiko finding out about Izuku's family. Or lack thereof.

"Wait, so it's just you and your mom now?"

The subject of Izuku's family matters wasn't always clear to him. "Yeah, my dad went away to America on a business trip when I was small. I haven't seen him since. Other than that, I really don't know if I have any other relatives."

"I'm sorry to hear."

"It's alright, I still have my mom. And she's all I can ask for." Izuku smiles, showing that he's content just having his mom.

"That's good." Even showing how happy he was, she can't help but think how little people Izuku had to celebrate. That's when she got an idea. "Hey, I was thinking maybe…"

"Maybe?"

"Maybe I should come over and visit for the holidays!"

"Really, you would do that?"

"Yeah, it'll be fun!" She has now made a plan to meet with him, but before that, she needs to do something first. "Hold on, let me go ask my mom."

From Izuku's perspective, Himiko left to go ask her mom. A few seconds later, sounds of loud voices could be heard from a distance.

Soon enough, Himiko came back to her computer with a pouty face.

"I'm sorry, Izuku. But my mom won't let me go."

"I see. But we're still set to meet for the new year, right?"

"Yeah, we're still set. Well anyways, I hope you have a nice holiday."

"You too."

They both signed off, and went on with their day. But truth be told, Izuku would have loved to enjoy the holiday with Himiko.

But alas, it wasn't meant to be. Hopefully next year will be different. But for now, it was time to enjoy his free day.

(later in the afternoon)

The holiday went as usual like every year. Inko cooks for two while her son watches reruns of holiday specials of his favorite heroes.

just like every other year.

*Ding dong*

The apartment doorbell caught both of Midoriya's attention. Neither of them were expecting company.

"Izuku, could you answer the door, my hands are tied up here."

While Inko was busy making Christmas dinner, Izuku went over to answer the door. He wonders who it could be. Neither of them weren't expecting anyone to come over for tonight.

Could it be Izuku's father finally coming home after all these years? All Might giving him a surprise visit? Kanchan coming over to become friends again?

The last one was highly unlikely compared to the rest, but a teen could dream.

He made it to the door and opened it. Revealing someone more arguably better than he expected.

"Surprise! Happy holidays!" Himiko celebrated as she was revealed to be at his door.

Meanwhile, Izuku became a nervous wreck, not because of the surprise visit. But it was because Himiko was wearing a complete Christmas costume just like in the one poster he had.

With just one look, he was too mesmerized to say anything. And Himiko knew fully well what she was doing.

"Speechless? I knew you would like it."

"I- uh…" as soon as he could take his eyes off her adorable outfit, he drew his attention to the question he had. "But what are you doing here? Didn't your family say you couldn't come?"

"Well…"

(Back at the wild wild pussycat base a couple hours ago)

Ryuko was going up towards Himiko's room with a dish of her favorite food. She knocked on her door to get her attention.

"Little cub, I know you're upset, but I assure you, there's always next year. Just wait and see. Now come out, Tomoko made your favorite food."

After receiving no response, she decided to come in. After opening the door she found

"What the- again?!"

She then noticed a letter on the bed, she went over to take a look at it.

Dear mother

Since you denied me of my wish to see my special green hair on the holidays, I decided to sneak out to see him. You're all welcome to come and visit, as long as everyone brings something for the family. I want to wish everyone a happy holiday.

Sincerely, your daughter.

P.s, if you don't show up, I'm staying over for the night.

The cat mom was annoyed as she realized something. "Yup, her rebellious phase has come at last. I have lost any control over her."

Ryuko quickly went down stairs to gather everyone for an emergency meeting. She then told them all about her daughter sneaking out to spend the holidays with Izuku.

She then asked her friends what she should do, and they gave her some suggestions.

"I think we should go over," Shino suggested. "We have nothing to do today. Especially since we plan for all of our families to come here for tomorrow, and we just have enough supplies for extras. Also, it's about time to meet the Midoriya family."

"I know, this has been a long time coming. But I'm still not ready to meet them." Ryuko argues, shy about meeting another family on the subject of their child.

While they all talk, Yawara brings something else up.

"I must say, I can't help but admire how devoted young Tsuchikawa is to go all the way to see him."

"Yeah, that's another thing. How is little cub going to see him?" Ryuko asked.

"By bullet train." Tomoko Answered.

"That would be the fastest route," Shino added. "But where would she get the funds to afford it?"

"Oh, I provided the funds." Tomoko revealed.

Which in turn caused all of them, especially her mother, to turn to her.

"Wait! You did what now?!"

"Yup, I took her to the train station, paid for her ticket and meal."

"Why?!"

Tomoko looks into her friend's eyes, and tells her why. "For love."

The mother simply growls in frustration before becoming just jumps

"Hey, cheer up. If it makes you feel any better, I did paid for first class."

"So what do you wanna do? Head over, or should we just let them be for the holiday?" asked Shino

Ryuko thought about it, before she finally gave in. "Fine, let's go over for the holiday."

"I'll prepare the meals!" shouts Tomoko as she and Yawara go to the kitchen to make a holiday feast.

(Back at Izuku's home)

Himiko giggles thinking about what her family must be thinking right now. "Long story short, I snuck out."

"Aren't you worried that your mom will come over?" Izuku asked.

"That's the plan. For you see, my family has a habit of making a good impression when meeting someone new. No matter who it is, the last thing they would ever do is look bad in front of others."

Izuku didn't know what to think. In truth, he's glad to see Himiko again. "Well I'm really glad to meet you again."

And right on que, Izuku's mother comes over to the door.

"I just finished putting dinner inside the stove. Who's at the do-" she halted herself after taking one good look at none other than Singapore herself. Her smile grew as large as she began to go full on mom mode.

"Hello Miss Midoriya. It's nice to meet you again. I'm here to spend the holidays with your son. If you're fine with it."

"Of course! Come in!"

After everyone had come inside the apartment, both the teens sat on the couch watching reruns, while Inko was busy setting up the table for three.

"Your mom is very nice."

"Thank you, she usually likes me to have friends."

Just out of nowhere, Himiko's phone began to ring. She checked it to find a text message from her mother.

"Is something wrong?"

"Nah, just my mom declaring that I'm in major trouble the moment I come back to base."

"Oh, I'm sorry."

"Nah, don't worry so much, she doesn't mean it. She may act terrifying at times, but she is actually the sweetest one to be mad."

"Really? Because the last time I met her, she didn't seem… enthusiastic to see me."

"Give her time, you'll grow on her soon enough."

While waiting for the inevitable forces that is her family coming over, she enjoys her

Inko occasionally looks over the corner to see the two snuggling together.

"So, how are things in school?"

"Oh…a lot has happened since the last few weeks."

"Really? Like what?"

"First off, I did manage to get my license." She pulled out her hero license with a cute picture of her on it.

"Wow! It's so cool!"

"I can't wait to see yours one day. I know it'll look cute."

"Well, that's going to be a while before it happens."

They both laugh and watch movies for a while. Enjoying the holidays together.

After hours of spending time together, Himiko had some news to share.

"Hey, do you remember when we talked at the end of our first date a few months back?"

"The one about your dream?"

"Yeah, that one." She quickly shifted her tone from a cheerful to a more serious one. "I thought about it a lot since then. And Just last week, I decided to take a small step forward towards my goal."

"Really? What'd you do?"

She took a quick deep breath before telling him. "I revealed my quirk to my classmates in UA."

After hearing the news, Izuku became curious about how it went. "How did it go?"

"Expectedly, they were a bit shocked to learn the truth. It was still a stretch to expect them to not freak out after hearing my… desires. I feared for the worst after telling them. But to my surprise, they made no attempt to outcast me. Heck, in a recent exercise, one of the girls even asked me about my opinion on the subject."

"So, they accepted you?"

"Yeah. As if I'm just like anyone else. Like it's… normal."

"And how do you feel?"

Himiko looks up at Izuku with a warm fuzzy smile. "I feel happy! With this small step, I feel like I can actually achieve my dream!"

Izuku saw how big this was for her, so he showed his support. "That's really great to hear!"

"It is." Himiko expressions quickly change to sadness. Before bringing up the one person she still missed dearly. "I just wish that Ochaco was there to see me."

After hearing her friend's name again, he quickly tries to reassure her. "I'm sure she would be proud to see you now."

"Yeah she would have been. I miss her so much."

Himiko leaned to Izuku's side as she got closer for comfort. Izuku then tries to make her feel better. "Is there anything you need?"

After hearing his request, she decided to ask him. "Is it ok… if I can have a nibble of blood?"

Without hesitation Izuku simply nods with a smile, and puts his hand in front of her. She nips Izuku's hand lightly and dranks drops of blood. Once done, she moves away and cleans her mouth with a hanky she kept in her pocket.

"Thanks, it's still sweet."

The next thing Himiko did was pull a card out of her pocket. "I actually made you a holiday card before coming here. And I wanted you to have it."

Izuku received the card and saw a little picture of a cat in an All Might costume. The title reads 'Paw ultra.'

"Auntie Tomoko helped me with making the cat puns."

It may have been a stretch, but it was still adorable nonetheless.

"It's really nice of you."

Himiko blushes as she asks him, "I know this is a strange request, but can you read it out loud?"

Izuku nods as he prepares himself for the mountain of embarrassment he was about to read, as his mom was also listening in.

Himiko leans her head against Izuku. Himiko lightly shuts her eyes as she enjoys the sweet comfort of his side.

Izuku opens the holiday card and begins to read it aloud.

"May your heart be purr~e and brave in your path into becoming a hero. You're as fun to me as a ball of yarn is to a cat. Your presence alone is my catnip, making my life enjoyable and fun to live in." he reached the end of the card, with one last pun. "Hope you have a nya-ce holiday, and a purr-fect new year."

After he finishes reading the card, Izuku looks back at Himiko who was giggling at the last part. Before Izuku knew it, he had just experienced one of his best experiences he thought he would never have.

He's now happy.

Just as he's about to succumb for a light nap himself. He briefly notices something floating above his head.

He looks up to see a mistletoe floating over him moving very slowly in one direction. He turned over to see his mother using her quirk to cause the scenario to happen. He shivers in embarrassment, which causes Himiko to wake up.

"Is something wrong?"

Izuku looks back at her with a light blush on his face. "I-I uh…"

She looks up and notices the mistletoe levitating above them. She lightly smirks as she turns back to Izuku.

"Oh~ shall we perform the all honor tradition of the holidays."

"Wait! Hold on a second, my mom's watching." he stutters out.

But unfortunately for him, it just made her think of something else, as her smirk grew wider on her face.

"Ohhhh~ Does that mean you want to do it privately, in your room?"

"huh?!" The question caught him way off guard. He became too flustered to even respond. His mind was all over the place.

'Alone! With Himiko! This is…I-I.'

Faced with too much tension, Izuku Instinctively activates his ultimate self-defense mechanism for this situation.

"Izuku?" Himiko asked as she noticed that he just went completely motionless on the couch. She waved her hands to her face, but there was no response.

That's when she realized Izuku had gone completely limb from her early suggestion.

"Oops, I think I have gone too far." Himiko whispered to herself as she was scared that this would be enough for his mother to show disapproval.

Inko went over to his son's aid as she put Izuku in a comfortable position. She turns to Himiko and shows her a bright smile to the cat girl. "There's nothing to worry about, my baby usually gets like this whenever the subject of girls comes up. I'm surprised how long he had lasted. If anything, he has come a long way since…"

Inko stops herself from finishing, after remembering the tragedy that struck her son.

At first, Himiko didn't know what stopped her, but it didn't take her long for the idea to come to her, so she tread carefully. "Since he was diagnosed quirkless?"

Inko looked surprised. "He told you? How much do you know?"

"Just enough to get the idea."

Inko only looked down as she thought about it. "Long before you came along, I tried my best to help him. But with all my efforts, I couldn't bring back that happy little boy unlike you have. Sometimes, I wonder if I was any help at all."

"Nonsense," Himiko objected, catching Inko's attention. "Miss Midorya, I wouldn't say you didn't try your best. Your son has made me the happiest person on the planet. He is kind, gentle, and very sweet. You are a wonderful person to raise such a sweetheart. You're everything to him."

After being told that, Inko felt a scent of happiness flow over her shoulders. "Thank you, that means a lot to me."

After reassuring Izuku's mom, she took this opportunity to ask, "So does this mean I have your approval?"

Inko laughed a bit. "You already got it, right after you made my son happy."

The cat girl was so glad to hear this. "Thank you miss-"

"Inko. Just call me, Inko."

"Right, thank you, Inko. I'll be sure to keep him company when he goes to UA."

As soon as their conversion ended, Izuku began to wake up. He got up to see both his mom and Himiko talking. "Oh no. What did you two talk about?"

"Nothing much, just having a heart to heart between two girls." Himiko Reassured, right before she thought of a joke. "Don't worry, she hasn't shown me your baby pictures. yet."

"Oh! I should go and get them!" Inko plays along with Himiko.

"Please don't." Izuku whimpered as he didn't want to pass out again.

The two girls giggle for the small tease while Himiko snuggle next to Izuku.

*Ding-dong*

Before they continued, the doorbell suddenly rang.

"I'll go get that." Inko stands up and goes over to the door.

Once Inko went over and opened the door, she was met with a nice surprise. The rest of wild wild Pussycats were at the door, bringing presents and food.

"Merry Christmas from the cat distribution system!" cheered both Tomoko and Yawara.

"Oh my! W-welcome! it's nice to meet the family of my son's special friend."

"Greetings to you, Miss Midoriya. I'm Shino, her auntie. It's so nice to meet you. Himiko's mother is right here behind me. Ryuko introduces yourself!"

Ryuko appears before Inko, nervous to actually meet the mother. "It is nice to meet you, I'm Ryuko, her adopted mother. But nevertheless, her mother."

"My, my! Could have had me fooled! Your daughter looks strongly similar to you." Inko complemented.

"I get that a lot. My daughter has been very fond of your son lately, so we thought of meeting. If you find that acceptable."

Inko smiles at them all as she claps her hands, "Why of course! But I do wish you could have called ahead first. I haven't prepared anything for all of us."

"No need to worry," Shino reassured, "Tomoko has prepared her famous dishes for the night."

"Yeah, let's eat!" Tomoko rejoiced as everyone went inside the apartment complex.

A few moments later, everybody was eating on the table. Eating away and enjoying the holiday together. They talk and share stories with each other, their experiences of raising their little one.

Himiko was happy to share her holiday joy to her special one family. Even she would catch her mom glare at her angry, telling her how much trouble she was in. It was still worth it.

Then there's Izuku, who has been fanboying that the entire cat team was in his apartment. It turned out to be one of the best holidays Izuku had… in probably ever.

"This has been a lovely experience meeting you all." Inko stated, letting the cat team know. "It's good to know how much you all trust my Izuku to date your daughter."

"I'm not so sure about that." Tomoko objected, as a big grin appeared on her face.

Tomoko's choice of words has brought the attention to everyone in the room.

"What do you mean by that, Tomoko?" Shino asked.

"I'm saying that Ryuko hasn't officially given her approval towards Midoriya yet."

"Yeah. Now that you mention it, you haven't yet given your permission towards him, Ryuko." Yawara imputed.

"I gave permission." Ryuko argues.

"In dating, yes. But you still have yet to show approval towards him."

Seeing how this situation has escalated, Himiko turns to Izuku with a smile. "Go on. this is your chance. Ask her."

After Izuku heard her, he knew what he must do. He stood up from his seat, catching everyone's attention, as he began to bow towards her. "Miss Tsuchikawa, may I have your blessing to date your daughter?"

Ryuko looks at the boy with a blank expression. Fighting the urge to not look disapproval at him. Thankfully Shino is there to stare at Ryuko across the table to do the right thing.

With enough time Ryuko starts to crack the fakest smile the team has ever seen.

"Young man." Ryuko tried with all her might to get the words out, "you have my approval."

*flash*

Tomoko took a photo the moment she approved. "This one's going into the memory book."

"Yay!" Himiko cheered as she hugged Izuku by his side.

Tomoko came to her friend by the side as Shino just simply smiled at her. "We're so proud of you Ryuko. You have shown growth."

"It still hurts my soul." Ryuko turns to Tomoko and whispers to her. "I'm gonna get you back for this one day. Just wait."

Tomoko looked up as she was proud of herself. "Yeah… but it was still fun."

The other cat members laugh as they continue on with their holiday feast. Building a proper relationship between the families. Bringing the couple much closer together.

(Months later)

Izuku has overcome many obstacles over the ten months since he declared himself that he would become a student at UA. He endured the harshest training known to man, and even fought off any temptations of slacking off. Leaving nothing to chance, as he really tried to make a real effort to surprise his limits.

After all that time, and breaking a limb or two, he finally proved himself at the entrance exam. The green hair teen now walks towards the entrance of the school with a bright smile and the first step in his whole new future.

Just as he was about to walk through the school's doors and head to class. A pair of small hands covered Izuku's eyes from behind.

"Peek-a-boo!" Whispers a familiar female voice.

Izuku's heart skips a beat after hearing a familiar voice. Once the hands were taken off his face, he turned around to see Himiko in front of him.

"You made it in! Congrats!" The cat girl cheered as she playfully threw herself towards him, wrapping her arms around him.

Izuku reacted quickly by catching and holding her up. This action left him speechless, but he got a hold of himself this time. "T-Thanks."

Himiko noticed that Izuku was starting to be more comfortable with her playfulness, a nice development for him. She would have applauded him, if she wasn't focused on the fact that she could also feel his new strong muscles through the hug. "Wow, you're really strong now."

Izuku gently lowers her down as he's still hugging her. "Yeah, my training was very intense."

"I'll say. I already miss your squishy huggable body." She whined at first, thinking how much she's going to miss her huggable marshmallow.

At least until she thought of something that caused her to make a devious smile as she shifts her voice to a more seductive tone. "Oh well, I can't wait to see how long you can endure when we spar together sometimes."

Her flirty suggestion caught him off guard, "S-Spar?!"

Just the thought alone left Izuku to a whole new level of blush unlike the world has ever seen. It was at this moment, he realized how his high school life was going to be.

"But let's save that for later. So, what classroom did you get?"

The change in subject was all Izuku needed to get his cool back. He snapped himself back to normal to answer her. "Class 1-A."

"Class 1-A! Well aren't you full of surprise. I managed to make class 2-A this year, but only as a fill in due to a number of expulsions from last year.

"Number of expulsions? What do you mean?"

Suddenly, the school bell began to ring, signaling that class is about to start soon.

"It's best that you head to class, or will show you why. Let's catch up more at lunch."

Izuku simply nodded as he began to head to class. Not before Himiko thought of something.

"Wait! I need to tell you something first." She yelled to get his attention. He turned his head back to her only to be caught off guard by her arms swiftly around his shoulders as she pulled him in for a quick small peck on his freckle cheek. "Love you~"

The shy boy was having trouble holding himself together after that small surprise peck. He had to say something back. He took a deep breath, and let his feelings do all the talking for once.

"L-Love you, too!" He yelled, fighting against all his shyness that was holding him back. The boy ran to school inside, going to class. As his face was still red as a tomato.

The cat girl giggled to herself, thinking how sweet Izuku was showing his affection to her. 'He said it! He said it!' She could already see her high school years were already looking up.

But even so…

She still stood by the school entrance, waiting for someone very important to her. 'I really wish you were here to see him.' She looked around, hoping that she could see her best friend before the class started.

With only a few minutes remaining she soon feared for the worst, as she started to lose hope.

"I guess she's not coming."

A very sad Himiko was about to head inside, trying to hold back her tears as she needed to remain strong. Facing the reality of the truth that her friend wasn't coming.

Nor that she might never see her again.

Or at least until she heard far from the distance a very stressful brunette was dashing her way into the entrance of the school.

"I'm late! I'm so late!" Cries the brown hair girl as she continues running, not paying attention to her surroundings.

Himiko quickly raised her head as she heard the familiar voice. Upon looking at the running girl that just ran past her, she was shocked to see that it was her best friend. "Ochaco!"

Uraraka came to a complete halt after hearing a familiar voice. She looked behind her and saw a familiar face.

"Himiko?!" She looked to find none other than her best friend standing in front of her once again.

"The one and only." The cat girl stuttered, as tears began to flow down her face.

"Himiko!" She ran straight to her with open arms. They both embraced each other as Himiko started to pick her up and spin around. Although Ochaco was using her quirk to make her lighter.

Once Himiko put her down, she affectionately hugged her. "I missed you!"

"I missed you, too!"

After the heartfelt reunion, the two took a moment to catch up.

"When I heard about your family job going elsewhere, I felt so sad. I… I-"

"I know, but everything's over now. My family has made enough for me to go here in UA. I'm sorry I wasn't able to be here to help you get through the year. It must've been hard on you."

"It's ok, because I've met a very special boy during the year."

The news gave a surprise to the brown-haired girl. "You have?! That's great news!"

"Yeah, he goes here in UA. I can't wait for you to meet him. I think you'll like him too."

"That sounds fantastic. Speaking of which, I also met a boy during the entrance exam."

"WHAT?! you found someone special too?!" Himiko asked her, making her very interested.

"Well, I don't exactly know much about him, but I have a good feeling about him. I really hope he makes it in."

The school bell was about to ring soon, leaving them with no time to catch up.

"That's really great to hear, let's meet for lunch. we'll talk more there."

Both the girls agreed on the plan as they headed inside the school. Starting a whole new year for the three teens. Heading forward towards a bright and unknown future that awaits them.
