I followed the scent for a good 9 miles with no hassle. I heard grunts and groans. I followed it down.
" Does anyone wanna try not being completely predictable?" Derek's voice hit me and I saw Erica jump on him like a bitch in heat before she got thrown off.
" That's the last time you do that." Derek told her while wiping off the saliva.
" Why? Because I'm a Beta?" Erica said out of breath. I roared out to get their attention. I jumped off the stairs and growled.
" Think you can take me?" I said as I fully shift. Derek smirked and shited. He throws a punch my way, but I move left and elbow him hard. He growls and punches my face. I spat the blood before running at him, he looks to brace. I know this trick. I slide under the punch and quickly get up to knock my brother to the ground. I shift back and so did my brother.
" Do me a favor." I said before making my eyes glow.
" Before you try to sink your pack on my friends or Stiles for that matter. Think twice. We are all we have Derek. Don't forget it." I said as I put my hand out in a fist and he nodded. He smirked, punched it and I began to leave.
"Don't get hurt." Derek said as I walked away.
I feel my phone go off.

Oh no! I quickly got to the location and run. It took about twenty minutes, but I get there.
" Are you ok?" I asked as I got to him. He nods and is looking at his hand. I smelt blood, a lot of it. I turned my head to see the dead body.
" Oh god why?" I asked as Stiles looked scared. I pulled him to me.
" What was it?" I asked as I smelt the fear.
" It was like a big fucking lizard with these eyes, they were slit. I think it knew me." He said as Scott's car pulled up. We got in and Stiles retold the tale.
" Fucked up, I'm sorry Stiles." I told him as I had his hand in mine. We got back to his house and he just pulled me with him. I didn't sleep much as he twitched. I didn't mind it. When morning arose for us, I was already dressed in a blue and black v-neck and some torn jeans. I drank my morning coffee as he dressed.
" Are you sure you are good to go?" I asked as he nodded. We went to school and I went to class. Practically bored out of my mind as I filled out the paper. After the bell rang, I saw Stiles running in the hall giving me a quick wave. I was fucking confused but soon received a text.
Practically have to be the runner to talk between Allison and Scott. SS
Oh fucking really? Well, I guess it's ok.

The voice again. It felt clearer but still, I can't tell who it belonged to. I felt a chill going down my spine.
" I'm not going crazy." I said as I went into the bathroom. My claws were out.
" The fuck?" I asked myself as I went into a stall. I tried to calm down as my mind felt faint and cold. The voice! I can't!
It's coming. You have to be ready for it!
The voice kept picking up as I gripped my head. I don't know the voice. It finally left as I felt myself change back.
" The fuck was that?" I asked as I walked out of the stall to clean up my look. I walked out and went to my next classes. After school finally ended, I meet up with Stiles for pizza. As I consumed it, I could see Stiles worried face.
" You doing ok?" Stiles asked as I took a slice from the tray.
" Not really. I keep hearing a voice." I said as he looked concerned at me.
" What do you mean?" He asked as I sighed.
" It keeps saying my name. I shifted in school today. I don't know." I said as he took my hand in his. It felt safe and warm, I can't help but smile.
" We will figure this out I promise." He said as I smiled. We finished up quickly and got ready for the game. I put on a red tank top and some black jeans. I grabbed my boots and slide them on.
" Let's go!" I said with a smirk. I put my hair up in a long ponytail and walked to his jeep. I watched as Stiles came over and gave me a quick kiss.
" Lets go." He said with a grin. We got into his jeep and began to move.
" So, go over the plan again." I said as Stiles drove.
" I snag Gerard's keys so Scott can get the book so we can figure this lizard fucker out." Stiles said with a smirk.
" Sounnds like nothing can go wrong." I said with a grin. As we parked, I got a weird feeling as my hearing kind of dipped. I shook it off and walked with Stiles. I stood by the walkway for a few minutes before Stiles got the keys from Allison.
" You got them?" I asked as he nodded. I smiled and gave him a small kiss on the cheek.
" My little clepto." I growled lustfully. He grinned at me cheekily.
" Later Ray." He said as we walked towards the parking lot. I stopped him as I heard crying. I looked over to see Lydia sobbing. I grabbed Stiles' hand and walked over to her.
" Hey, Lydia, what's wrong?" Stiles asked her, but she put her window up. I placed my hand on it to try to coax her to open up.
" Lydia, come on… It's me. Raven." I said as I cared for the strawberry blonde. She's my best friend.
" Just go away." She demanded as she let tears go down her cheek.
" What's wrong?" Stiles asked her as she shook her head. I felt sorry for her. I hated hiding the fucking truth from her.
" Look, I don't need anyone seeing me cry." She said as more tears came down.
" It's going to be ok Lydia. I promise. You don't have to hide from Stiles and I." I said as I knew I could get her to open up to me.
"I know crazy. I've lived through crazy. Nothing you say can sound as crazy as what I've experienced." I said as she sighed and pulled the window down.
"...Can you just give me five minutes?" Stiles said as I realize what we forgot we were doing. I, however, got another idea.
" What?" She asked as I turned to my boyfriend.
" Stiles, it's ok. I'll stay with her. You go check on the locker. I need to talk to her." I said as he nodded.
" Thank you." Stiles said before placing a kiss on my cheek. I got into the car as Stiles ran into the school.
" What's going on?" I asked as she wiped away her fading tears.
" I feel like I'm seeing things and walking around as if I have no idea where I'm going. I'm alone. Jackson left me. No one will tell me what is going on." She said as she took some deep breaths. I wanted to tell her the truth, she deserves to know.
" I will tell you if you really want that. When did you notice things?" I said as the decision was made in my mind. She will know the truth. I was going to reveal it to her.
" The night that we got locked in the school. I've noticed things and ever since that psycho bit me. I felt like there was more going on." Lydia said as she looked deep into my eyes, she was wanting the truth.
" There is a lot more going on in this town. I'm trying to keep you safe." I said as she nodded and gave a genuine smile.
" I'm glad you are able to talk to me and not look at me like I'm crazy." She said with joy in her voice. She smelt of joy and happiness with sadness coaxing the top.
" I promise to explain everything soon. I do, but something is keeping me a bit preoccupied at the moment." I said as she looked deep and nodded.
" I trust you Ray Ray." She replied as she looked to have been thinking.
" Thanks Lyds." I told her before she pulled me into a hug.
" I'm glad to have you as one of my best friends." She said as I gave a signature Hale smile.
" Same, I feel like you are someone I can watch movies with. Someone I can talk to and just be myself for the most part." I told her as my wolf howled with happiness for the safety of my friend. I worried about Stiles and why he was taking so long.
" Same Ray Ray. So how are things with you and Stiles?" She asked as I felt my face get hot.
" Better than I ever imagined. He's kind, smart, hella funny, and so amazing!" I exclaimed as she squealed.
" You two are so fucking cute together. The sheriff's son and the Hale girl, it's like a tv show!" Lydia remarked as I hide my face, I could feel my face growing more hot by the second.
" Awe you are going to make me blush!" I said as we continued to chat, I soon saw people coming into the parking lot. Lydia must have noticed my attention was off our conversation and looked where my attention was occupied.
" Looks like the game is over." She said as I shrugged.
" Yeah, wait where is Stiles?" I said as I hadn't received a text from him. My wolf growled with worry.
" I would say go find him. I think I'm going to head home and sleep this breakdown off." Lydia said as I smirked at her. I pulled her in for a hug.
" Night hun." I said as I got out. She leaned over and smiled.
" See you in class!" She replied before I shut the door and walked towards the school. I heard his heart beating frantically. I felt my eyes glow as I ran to the pool room to see Stiles and Derek! They were in the pool! I shifted as I saw the walking lizard!
" You are an ugly fuck!" I growled as I saw Scott pull them out of the pool.
" Are you ok?" I said as I ran over to Stiles. He nodded as I looked at Derek.
" I'm alright." Derek said as I shifted back. I took Stiles' face in my hands and kissed him. He kissed back and I felt hot.
" Thank fuck you are ok!" I said after parting my lips from him. The creature took off after that. We dried them off before Stiles had a laptop open with the Beastiary. It's in a whole other fucking language.
" Is that even a language?" Stiles said as I leaned on him to see the screen.
" How are we supposed to figure out what this thing is?" Scott said before I scented Derek and Erica coming up, oh great, fucking Blondie!
" It's called a Kanima." Derek said as the word was clear. God damn it!
" You knew the whole time?" Stiles demanded of my brother. I placed my hand on his chest.
" No. Only when it was confused by its own reflection." My brother said as I growled.
" I hate lizards! So gross and gah! I feel violated!" I said as I felt my claws come out.
" It doesn't know what it is." Scott replied to my brother.
" Or who." Derek replied to him. Fucking fantastic!
" What else do you know?" Stiles asked my brother, who looked annoyed.
" Just stories. Rumors." He replied to him.
" But it's like us?" Scott asked as I saw Blondie over there giving my brother the fuck me eyes. Barf!
" A shapeshifter? Yes. But it's-it's not right. It's like a…" Derek said as he stammered.
" An abomination." Stiles said aloud. I nodded.
" Strong word, but it does certainly fit." I chirped.
" Derek? We need to work together on this. Maybe even tell the Argents." Scott said as he made a suggestion, but my brother shook his head.
" You trust them?" Derek said as Scott smelt of anger.
" Nobody trusts anyone! That's the problem! While we're here, arguing about who's on what side, there's something scarier, stronger, and faster than any of us, and it's killing people, and we still don't even know anything about it!" Scott said as he ranted. I felt Stiles grab my hand.
" I know one thing- when I find it?" Derek said as he turned away.
"...I'm gonna kill it." He said as he trudged back to his Camaro.
" Are you ok?" I asked as Stiles sighed.
" Besides keeping your brother alive. I feel better, now I am in your arms." Stiles said as I smirked. We sat near his jeep just taking in what happened.
" I'm sorry, but I got caught up talking to Lydia." I said before rubbing the back of my head, but he just smiled.
" Hey it's alright." He replied with a grin.
" Thank god you are ok." I said as I leaned on his shoulder.
" Same. I want to keep you safe as well, you know that." Stiles replied as I purred lowly.
" What would I do without you?" I said with a chuckle.
" Exist." Stiles said as I held his hand in mine.
" But where is the fun in that?" I said before sticking my tongue out.
" True, very true." Stiles said before we kissed deeply. I felt like someone was watching me, but I choose to ignore it.
