Elsewhere, Boscha climbed up the steps to the school. Anyone that saw her immediately got out of the way, not wanting to push her over the edge today. Everyone knew, that if you left Boscha alone today, she'll leave you alone. Her girlfriends were the ONLY exception. Speaking of, they were on each side of her when she was putting stuff in her locker.
"Boscha, do you need anything today?" Willow asked.
"Yeah, need us to carry your books?" Skara asked.
"No... I just want to be alone." Boscha said.
"Are you sure?" Skara asked.
"Yeah, I'm sure. Just please, don't worry okay?" Boscha said to them.
"Okay but call us if you need anything." Willow said, kissing her cheek before leaving.
The two walked away and gave each other a concerned look.
"I really wish I could make her feel better." Willow said.
"Same, but nothing short of finding her sister, who is, let's face it, most likely dead, there's nothing we can do."
"I know but still, if by some miracle she's alive, we should find her for Boscha's sake." Willow said.
"Yeah, but where do we even look?" Skara asked, "I mean, it's been years, you would think she would've shown up by now."
If only Skara had known how right she was, her sister was a lot closer than they thought but they didn't know where to look. Not even if it was a few miles away from the school. Said sister... was currently was leading an accidental prison break.
"Haha! Kid you're a riot!" Eda said, flying on the staff as Camila held her head.
"This is the single weirdest thing I've ever done!" Camila said.
"Woooooooo!" Luz cheered, seeing multiple prison cells coming up.
They were prisoners, not here for crimes but her because they were weird. But that itself, was a crime to Luz and it had to be corrected!
"Eda lend me a hand!"
Eda's body somehow heard her request, putting a hand over Luz's right hand and helping her horned the three cells to release the three innocent witches/demons.
'What have I just gotten myself into?' Camila thought.
The group busted through main door as the warden of the prison was right behind them!
"You won't get away!" He shouted, sending a tendril attack at them.
"Sorry but hands off!" Luz shouted, drawing a large spell circle to create a barrier around them!
"Not bad for someone that grew up in the Human Realm." Eda said.
"Thanks, just thought of whatever felt natural and made it into a spell." Luz said, Camila put Eda's head back on her body.
"Can we please just defeat this warden creep and leave?! Need I remind you he actually hit on me after Eda rejected him?" Camila asked.
'No amount of therapy will ever make that go away.' Camila thought.
"Don't worry, hot stuff, we're almost out." Eda said.
"Don't you start too!" Camila said.
"What? It's a compliment. You are a pretty young thang." Eda said with a wink, making Camila blush and look away.
'I have mixed feelings about this.' Luz thought before turning back to Wrath and firing a large ice spell.
Warden Wrath broke the ice and knocked the staff out from under them. The group stumped to the floor as Camila instinctively grabbed Luz to protect her as they rolled across the ground.
"Come on, Eda, we can take him." Luz said.
"No, you can't." Eda said reaching into her hair, "Take this and head back to the Human Realm."
Eda gave Camila the key.
"W-w-what?!" Luz said.
"This is too dangerous, and I won't let you get hurt, Kid." Eda said.
"But I just came back to the one place I fit in! Where everything is as crazy and magic filled as I am!" Luz said before Wrath landed before them in a crash.
"Well so are people like him!" Eda said, pointing to Wrath as he turned his hands into giant hammers!
"Camila, get her out of here." Eda said, before rushing off to attack Wrath.
This made Camila's heart skip a beat, the way Eda went from this person she wasn't to overly fond of, to wanting nothing more than Luz to be safe, it gave her a feeling to trust her.
'Dios mio, what is happening to me?' Camila thought, holding the doorway key tightly.
"Mom, please! We can just leave them!" Luz said as she saw Eda and King fighting Wrath.
Camila was confused, on one hand, she wanted to keep Luz safe, on the other, this was her true home. Camila held the key in her hand and put a hand on Luz's shoulder.
"Mija, I always thought I would be afraid to see you go." Camila said, before hugging her, "But I think I understand... I need to let you go, as much as it may hurt. This is your world, this is where you belong. Go save her."
"…..Thank you but I don't want you to let me go. Even though I might have family here, you'll always be my mom. Having another one won't change that." Luz said, quickly hugging Camila. "So please, don't let me go until we're both ready, okay?"
Camila smiled, before Luz ran off to help Eda.
'Please be safe.'
"Eda the owl lady, I have you now!" Wrath said as Eda and King were before him.
"No you don't!" Luz said.
Luz ran while making a spell circle. She didn't have that much spell knowledge, but what she does have would help.
'Give me something big! Something strong!' Luz thought before unleashing a powerful combination spell.
A spell mixed of ice, lightning, and water that would HURT once it hit and it was aimed right at Warden Wrath.
"Huh?" Wrath let out before he was HIT with the chilling, wet, and shocking sensation! "Aaaaaaah!"
Luz grabbed Eda's arm and began to pull her away.
"Come on, let's go!"
"Hey, wait for me!" King said as he rushed to follow them.
"Come on, vaminos!" Camila said to them.
They all got on the staff and Eda looked at Luz.
"Not bad, Kid."
"Thanks, I had no idea what that would do but it was pretty cool." Luz said, sweating a bit and breathing a bit heavy. "But I think used too much magic."
"Well, Kid, I think we'll get that fixed." Eda said.
"What do you mean?"
"I said if you helped me, I'd help you." Eda said, "I'm going to help you find your family, and as a bonus, I'll become your magic teacher."
"Really? That's…..so…. " Luz said before she passed out, making Camila catch her to keep her from falling off the staff.
"Okay, that's something we need to work on." Eda said.
For the rest of the flight, Luz "slept" peacefully before they landed in front of the owl house.
"Alright, let's get inside." Eda said.
Eda, King, and Camila, who was carrying Luz, went inside and placed Luz on the couch.
"Well, what do you think about the Demon Realm so far?" Eda asked.
"It's... very... very disturbing, and the sooner I leave the better." Camila said, "That being said, I'll come by and check on Luz every now and then."
"Yeah, I'm sure we can work a schedule or something out." Eda said with a nod, "But, before you do, mind helping me set up a place for the kid to sleep? Can't let her keep the couch, King will fight her."
"Okay, is there any spare room she could stay in?" Camila asked.
"Well, there are some upstairs but one is mostly a small closet and the other is for weapon storage." Eda said.
"Well, she hasn't come out of the closet yet, so I think she'll be fine in that." Camila said.
"Was that a joke?" Eda asked with a smile. "Lady, are you available because I think I'm falling for ya."
"Make sure my daughter doesn't get killed within the week and I might let you take me on a date." Camila said.
"Deal!" Eda said with a grin. "It's a date, hot stuff."
"Eda, gross." King said.
