While the ladies are out dress shopping Graham decides to go to UNIT with K9. Ace knew Graham was doing something with him. "Graham?" He looks up and sees Osgood. "What are you doing here?"

"Working."

With a roll of her eyes at the obvious. "Working on what?"

"Getting Nyssa back. Ace, Tegan and Jo are out looking for a dress. I was told to stay out of the house for the day. With Ryan gone, and my friends aren't happy with some of my decisions of not staying in Sheffield; I have nowhere to go, but here."

"What about Dan?"

"House hunting."

"You didn't want to go with him?"

"No, after what Tegan did for Ace and I last night, I want to take an extra day to find Nyssa. I have K9 to help me this time" He looks down, "are you a good boy." Osgood just looks at him then around the room to see Yaz in the far corner.

"The way you talk to him is?"

"Like how Ace talks to him, how I hear the Doctor and those who have or had a K9 of their own talk to him.

"Master, getting phone call."

"Thank you K9." Graham picks it up and smiles. "Hello Ace."

"Three stores and still nothing."

"You will look amazing in everything."

"Most of the dresses are made for younger brides and not ones past their prime."

"You are not past your prime. Especially if last night is anything to go by."

"That was fun."

"It was."

"I was just taking a quick lunch break with Tegan and Jo. I should get back. I love you."

"I love you too."

Graham hangs up and gets back to work, while K9 hooks up to the computer. A while later a voice is heard from the computer. "Hello?" A quiet voice asks.

"Hello?" Graham is shocked. "Who are you?"

"Nyssa of Traken, well I live on Terminus now."

"NYSSA, I actually got you?"

"You know who I am."

"I know Tegan."

"You do, where is she?"

"She's helping my fiancé find a dress for when we get married after you are here."

"You're waiting for me?"

"I want a happy bride and happy maid of honor."

"Thank you. How is she?"

"Tegan?"

"Who else would I be asking about; you must be Graham.?"

"I am. She has her moments. While we are trying to get you here; she is staying with Ace and I."

"I know that, thank you for making sure she is fed."

"Of course, I know you would do the same if Ace and I were in the same position."

"How?"

"From what Tegan has told me."

"You can tell who I am just by what one person has told you."

"You walked away from the one you loved to save peoples lives."

"I did, though now I am trying to get her back."

"You will. Do you have your spacetime coordinates?"

"I do," Nyssa rattles them off as both K9 and Graham take note of them. "Got them?"

"We did."

"We?"

"K9 and I."

"K9, you mean the robotic dog that the Doctor had one of?"

"A gift to Ace from the Doctor."

"I think he is the reason we are talking."

"Got it. Just don't tell Tegan about this. I think someone I have been working with is messing with my work."

"Do you know who could be doing it?"

He hears Nyssa sigh before answering, "only one person could be doing it. It hurts me to even think he could be doing it?"

"Has he ever done anything like this before?"

"No, years ago I turned down a proposal from him."

"Don't let him near your work. He still likes you and doesn't want you to leave."

"How do you think I can do that?"

"When you are not near your work, put a date that only means something to you; that he doesn't know about. Are you on paper or computer?"

"Computer."

"Put a high-end code on that then."

"He knows everything about Tegan. Do you have a date that means something to you."

"October 23, 2022."

"231022."

"The day I met Ace."

"Got it. That's sweet."

"Is it ok if I tell Ace? I try not to keep secrets from her."

"Go ahead. Do you think she can keep this from Tegan? I don't want to get her hopes up."

"If I tell her that's why. Ace will have mixed emotions that I talked to her best friend's lover before she did."

"She is doing something important to me." Graham waits for a second, "distracting her."

"Ace has been doing everything in her power to make Tegan happy."

"Everything?"

"Don't worry, those two are like sisters."

"That is what Tegan told me."

"It's true. Tegan and I got after her when she told us that she is taking a sabbatical from her charity."

"She shouldn't have done that."

"Our same reaction."

…Meanwhile….

"Ace, you need to try this one on." Tegan brings out a dress for Ace to try. She goes up to the dress and runs her fingers along the fabric. Both Jo and Tegan watch Ace's reaction.

"I think if this one fits it will be the one," Jo whispers to Tegan.

"Tegan, can I have your help?" Tegan goes in and after the dress is zipped and tied, Ace turns around. "This is the one." After the dress is purchased and ordered the three leave.

A few hours later Tegan is in bed. "What did you do today?"

"I went to UNIT with K9."

"You did?"

"I did. You must keep a secret from Tegan." Graham lowers his voice.

"What is it?"

"Can you keep it from Tegan?"

"I can try."

"With the help of K9, I made contact with Nyssa."

"What?!" Ace jumps to Graham and pulls him in. "Why do I have to keep it from her?"

"It was on request of Nyssa."

"Why would she not want Tegan to know about contact being made?"

"Someone is messing with her work, and she doesn't want Tegan to get her hopes up."

"That's admirable. I still can't believe you got to talk to her before me." Graham laughs at that. "What's so funny?"

"I told Nyssa just that." In her room Tegan turns around in her bed putting the pillow over her ears thinking that something is going on in the next room.
