Commander Shepard is dead. Knowing that they needed someone to complete his work fighting against the Reapers, The Illusive Man set his sights on the next best thing, Humanities greatest hero. The only problem is that Superman gave up on hero work a long time ago but can the threat of galactic extinction be enough for him to once again step into the light.

The year is 1964, though the people of the Citadel don't know that date. Earth is unknown to them, a nice little blue world in an isolated corner of the galaxy. Yet, Earth's impact on the galaxy will be known far and wide, when its greatest hero decides to broaden his reach. Protheans experimented on primitive humans. They designed one subject, Kal-El, for one purpose: destroy Brainiac, the machine which wipes out galactic civilization every 50,000 years. Kal-El woke to find the Protheans extinct and Brainiac gone. He has waited millennia, and now emerges to fight. The Systems Alliance and Cerberus grow ever ambitious, while racial tensions rise.
