With that out of the way, let's get on with the story shall we?
The next day had arrived, Chilli and Bandit had left a note and a few gifts for Bluey in their room. Bluey yawned and stretched then proceeded to get out of her bed "Finally 17 huh? Happy Birthday to me" she said to herself as she walked into the bathroom to prepare for her day. As Bluey began to shower, she couldn't help but think of that dream she had many years ago, where she encountered a strange version of herself and how it mentioned that they would meet again. While things had not been easy these past 10 years, they had certainly become better thanks to Dr. Wolfdog. Whenever she would have an unnerving dream that involved Bingo, she would do her best to remember the way that Bingo was, and how Bingo had loved her. This specific dream about the other Bluey unnerved her at times, it was almost as if the other Bluey was something that invaded her dreams, or as if she was completely sentient and was upset with the real Bluey. Either way, it was years ago and Bluey had more fun things to think about, like how most of her friends would be coming over to celebrate with her. Surely nothing could go wrong, especially since her parents weren't here…..right?
The entire house was prepared for Bluey's party, she had only invited a few friends over and smiled seeing how her parents had already did most of the work "Thanks you two" "Finally, you were taking forever!" Bluey was surprised to hear another voice. She looked towards the door and saw Mackenzie who was with Chloe. Bluey rolled her eyes at him "Mackenzie, you're always in such a hurry" Chloe had chuckled, she remembered that Bluey had said the exact same thing years ago when they had played shops a decade prior "Some things never change" she said to the other two. Bluey walked to the kitchen with the other two following her "So when do you think everyone else will get here?" Bluey asked. Chloe shrugged "Not sure but they did say they would make it, maybe they're buying some last minute gifts?" Mackenzie nodded "Yeah to be fair it wasn't a good idea to send invites the day before your birthday you know?" Bluey laughed and nodded "Yeah youre right, probably should've told them a week ago" Chloe looked around "What about your cousins? Or Aunts and Uncles?" Bluey shook her head "My Uncle Rad's family is in Bali right now, and Uncle Stripe's family is with my dad and mum in Italy"
The three chatted for a while until they heard the doorbell rang "I'll get it!" Chloe got up and sprinted downstairs. She opened the door expecting one of their mutual friends, however she was greeted by someone completely unfamiliar to her, a chocolate lab holding a medium size gift "Happy Birthday Blu-" She looked up and saw Chloe "Oh uh…do I have the wrong house?" Chloe shook her head "Looking for Bluey? She's upstairs" Chloe quickly ran back to Bluey "It's some girl Bluey, she's here for your birthday" Bluey nodded and headed downstairs. "Hi Winnie!" The other girl got a big smile on her face "Happy Birthday Bluey!" Winnie handed Bluey her gift and gave her a hug. After the two hugged Bluey set her gift on a nearby table and led Winnie to the other two "Guys, this is Winnie, Winnie these are my friends Mackenzie and Chloe" they all waved at each other. Chloe stared at Winnie "So how do you two know each other?" she asked, a bit curious. Winnie smiled at her "Oh we met one morning when our dads took us to a park" Bluey turned to her dalmatian friend "We played cafe together". Mackenzie looked around the kitchen "I think your parents forgot to get some cups for the party" Bluey looked around and saw that he was right "Oh yeah, well I'll go get them from the store-" Bluey began to speak but was cut off "Actually" Mackenzie began as he pulled out a wallet and handed some money to Chloe "Why don't you stay here birthday girl? Let Chloe go and relax while I check to see if they forgot anything else" Bluey looked at him confused "Hey don't just push it off on her" Bluey added Chloe looked at Mackenzie confused "Yeah why me? Can't you go?" Mackenzie walked closer to Chloe "If you don't mind, I'll go, I arrived last so I don't mind taking a walk" Winnie said, surprising Bluey and Chloe. Mackenzie whispered in Chloe's ear "Think I haven't known you long enough to know that look in your eyes? I'm trying to give you a chance here mate, go with her" Chloe blushed at his statement and nodded "H-hey uh…why don't we go together um…I'm sorry what was your name?" she asked, feeling bad at having already forgotten the lab's name. "It's Winnie, and sure it sounds better than going alone!" she laughed and walked towards the door. Mackenzie winked at Chloe as she followed Winnie out the door. Bluey gave Mackenzie a confused look "What did you tell her?" Mackenzie smirked "Uh…might tell ya later"
Within a few more minutes, Winton walked in while carrying a long gift box "Hey Bluey, happy birthday!" Bluey smiled at him "Hey Winton!" she observed the long box "What could possibly be in there?" Winton smiled "Just some snacks" He carried the box upstairs then smirked then spoke in a sarcastic tone "Oh no! My hands are slipping! Sure hope there's nothing fragile inside, I'd hate to drop this box down all these stairs!" Mackenzie and Blue watched him in confusion "D-do you want me to help or?" Mackenzie asked. Winton shook his head then let the box slide down a single step, implying the box would fall before a voice came from inside "HEY! BABE! DON'T YOU DARE DROP ME DOWN THESE STAIRS. I WORKED HARD ON THESE CUPCAKES!" Winton smirked as the other two dogs were stunned to hear someone. "Uh…who's in there?" Bluey asked out of concern. Shortly afterwards a hand punched through the wrapping, then another, then the two would rip the wrapping away and another familiar dog would emerge from the box. "Happy Birthday Bluey" Snickers said as he pulled himself and some cupcakes out of the box. "Wait-" Mackenzie paused for a second "Did he call you babe? When did that happen?" Winton and Snickers looked at each other as light blushes formed on their faces "Uh…around two years ago during my dad and the terrier's mum's wedding anniversary" Winton stated. Bluey had a huge grin on her face then she squatted and looked at Winton "Ooh Winton's gonna marry Snickers" she teased him. His blush darkened as he remembered that he teased Bluey and Mackenzie for saying the same thing at the exact same time "Oh yeah?" he pointed at Mackenzie "Well I wasn't wrong about you two then!" Bluey laughed and shook her head "You are wrong! We're not even dating!" Mackenzie nodded to reaffirm her statement. Snickers nudged him and smiled "Hah!" Winton sighed and pulled out his wallet "Dammit" he then handed a five dollar bill to Snickers, who happily stuffed it away. "Wait, you guys had a bet?" Snickers nodded "We bet if you two were a thing yet, and I said you werent, but this guy was adamant about it"
Chloe walked back in with Winnie, the two were laughing "My dad was so confused because he's such a realist at times, he told me octopus don't talk at all and he just wouldn't get it" Chloe groaned. Winnie laughed "Oh hey Bluey we're back and we found the cups" She lifted a pack of plastic cups "Also, we found these guys too" Chloe pointed at Indy, Rusty, Jack, Judo, and Lucky. Winton rolled his eyes "If it wasn't for a few of us I'd swear that this is a class reunion" he motioned towards Judo, Winnie, and Lucky. "Well the terriers are in Scotland, and Pretzel and his family are in Chihuahua" Snickers mentioned. "We know Pretzel is a chihuahua,we all went to school with him" Rusty said. Snickers laughed "No, he's in Chihuahua, it's a state in Mexico" he corrected him. The others laughed at the mix-up and proceeded to have enjoy the festivities.
Coco was the last to arrive "Sorry I'm late everyone, traffic was pretty heavy today, they seemed to be filming a show on my route" Bluey looked at her a bit surprised "You have your license now?" Coco smiled at Bluey "Sure do, my dad made me get one after I got a modeling job, said he wasn't going to drive me all over the place" Indy quickly ran through the crowd of friends and gave Coco a hug "Congrats on your gig!" Coco was surprised but returned the hug to Indy "Thanks! Oh also before I forget, Happy Birthday Bluey!" Bluey smiled at the two "Thanks, and I'm glad you could make it" she looked around the room for a second "She's not here, is she?" Indy looked at Coco "Who are you talking about?" Coco looked at Indy and Bluey "Honey, over the years she's been acting…..different" "Different how?" Bluey asked. Coco looked a bit disturbed "It's like she's always planning something" Indy tried to brush it off "Well she's not here, haven't seen her in a while. I tried reaching out when her parents died but she never responded" Bluey's eyes widened "Her parents died?" Indy nodded "One night when she was overseas, a home invader broke in, her dad managed to fatally wound the guy, but he and his wife were severely injured. They died in the hospital" Bluey looked saddened "That must've been horrible" Indy nodded "But if she doesn't want to talk to us, there's nothing we can do" "Well, we could enjoy Bluey's birthday with her" Coco spoke as she went for Snickers's cupcakes.
Winton had pulled Mackenzie aside and the two spoke outside "Mackenzie, you're my friend and all but seriously you piss me off" Mackenzie was confused by his words "Me? What did I do?" Winton turned towards him "It's what you haven't done yet! Haven't you had feelings for Bluey since we were like eleven years old?" Mackenzie laughed sheepishly "Since we were still in Calypso's class actually" Winton's eyes widened "Since we were seven?! And You still haven't taken her out on a date?!" Mackenzie rubbed the back of his neck "I really do like her, but it's just been…awkward" Winton raised an eyebrow "Awkward? What do you mean?" Mackenzie sighed and took a sip from his drink "Well, what if she gets depressed about Bingo? How would I help her?" Winton rolled his eyes "Just be there for her, what do you think I did when Snickers lost his grandmother?" Mackenzie scoffed "Alright Bulldog, tell me how you two became a thing in the first place" Winton looked to the side and blushed "Well, like I said, it was during my dad and step-mum's wedding anniversary. Snicker's mum came over with Bluey's mum and Coco's mum, they brought presents. Snickers came with her, then me, him, and the terriers were playing and after a while Snickers started warming up to me, telling me about how lonely he was at times. I won't go into too many details but after that we started hanging out with each other more and more, then eventually" a smile formed on his face as his blush grew stronger "I guess we sorta fell for each other" Mackenzie thought about the story "What you guys kiss on the first date or something?" He chuckled at the thought. Winton smirked and shook his head "Nope, but we did eventually, which is more than you can say about you and Bluey" Mackenzie blushed and scowled and Winton "I'll ask her! I just need to find a moment" Winton looked inside and saw Chloe talking to Lucky, Winnie, and Judo "That Chow is pretty cute, think Chloe has a shot with her?" Mackenzie looked back then looked at Winton "Sorry Bud, Chloe's after that Chocolate Lab girl" Winton nodded, then he finished his soda and tossed the cup. He stretched and walked back towards the group "Guess we're done here" Mackenzie was a bit confused "Hey wait what do you mean?" Winton turned and looked at him "You just need a moment? Lucky for you, I know how to create moments. Don't screw this up!" He leaned in the house and yelled "Hey party people! Let's get some music going!" Some of the other dogs cheered and started to walk outside. Winton pulled out a phone and would connect it to a bluetooth speaker. Winton turned towards Mackenzie and gestured towards Bluey, giving him a small smile.
Mackenzie would shuffle past them then wander back inside the house where he saw Bluey looking at a picture of her with her parents and Bingo. "You know, I think she'd be glad you're not as sad as you used to be" Bluey nodded without turning to face him "But I still can't be free from this guilt I feel, you know?" "That's expected, you two really loved each other" he smiled "But it's your birthday, you should spend the day being happy and living for Bingo" Bluey raised an eyebrow then turned around to look at him "Live for her? What do you mean?" He looked around "You know, live a life worth living and not being depressed and moping all the time like some people do. Doing things that you feel would make her happy" she nodded in agreement "You're right, I should do things that would make her happy" Mackenzie turned his head to hide his blush "You know, when you started being more happy, it was like you were your old self again, and that made me really happy" She smiled at him "Oh yeah? Why's that?" He took a deep breath then exhaled "Because the old you is the Bluey I fell in love with" Bluey smiled "That's sweet, maybe I can be the Bluey that everyone used to love?" Bluey said, assuming Mackenzie had meant platonic love. Mackenzie chuckled then shook his head "There's that too, but that's not what I meant" she was a bit surprised "Oh? What did you mean?" she moved a bit closer to hear his answer. He closed his eyes and clenched his fist, then he opened his eyes and faced Bluey, looking her in the eyes "I….I" he struggled to speak "Oh to hell with it" he said as he shrugged. Bluey was a bit surprised to hear him say that, then he would gently grab Bluey before moving forward and placing his lips on hers. Bluey's eyes widened as she felt her heart skip a beat and her face would become very red. Mackenzie pulled away and expected some kind of reaction, negative or positive but he was met with silence "Sorry, it's just I really really like you Bluey" Bluey was speechless on the outside, but on the inside she was screaming with joy. "It's about time, I was wondering if something was going to happen with you two?" Mackenzie was surprised to hear Coco speaking behind him. He quickly turned to see Coco and Winton standing together, both with smug looks on their faces. "W-what?" Mackenzie asked, he was now almost as red as Bluey who still seemed dazed. "At least that was quicker than I thought" Winton stated before looking at Coco. Coco laughed "Longer than I thought, I really believed you would have confessed to her sooner" Bluey snapped out of it and looked at Coco "You knew? Why didn't you tell me?" Coco smiled and patted Bluey on her head "Same reason I didn't tell him when you told me" Mackenzie seemed interested "Wait, tell me what?" Coco looked at him "She told me long ago that she liked you" Mackenzie was surprised "Wait, really?" Coco nodded "In Calypso's class" Bluey looked at her confused "Didn't you like Mackenzie? You aren't angry are you?" Coco shook her head "Nah, I knew he liked you when Winton told me" Mackenzie glared at Winton who smiled sheepishly "Dude, what the hell?" Winton shrugged "Hey, at least she didn't go crazy over you like they do in some cartoons!" Mackenzie rolled his eyes "It's fine now but, I told you not to tell anyone" Winton sighed "If it makes you feel any better, she was the first one I told about liking Snickers" Mackenzie's small annoyance faded as he started to laugh "It's not the same, but I won't stay upset about it" Bluey shrugged "Nobody can stay mad at Winton, even if he isn't as loyal as he used to be" Winton laughed nervously then looked back outside "Why don't we all go play some party games out there?"
The four began walking outside, Mackenzie felt something grab his hand, he looked to see Bluey was now holding his hand, his tail began wagging as he gladly held hers while walking outside "You know, Captain and Mia would probably be laughing at us right now" Bluey nodded then led the two closer to Judo and Lucky, who were too busy with each other to notice the approaching couple. "Well, no matter what you do with your hair, it will still look nice" Lucky told Judo "Aww Babe, maybe I should dye it yellow and we could be matching?" Judo asked. Lucky's eyes widened "As much as I would love that, I don't think I want Wendy to kick my arse" Judo laughed before she jumped from feeling a hand touch her from behind. She quickly turned to see Bluey "Oh, you surprised me Bluey" she looked at Mackenzie "Uh, this is?" Bluey smiled "Come on, you said his name when you asked me who I liked?" Judo remembered that she had asked and tried to remember the boy's name "Are you…Snickers?" Bluey and Mackenzie gave each other an unamused face before she shook her head "Hell no that's not me!" Snickers yelled from a few feet away. Bluey moved so Judo could see her holding Mackenzie's hand "This is Mackenzie, my boyfriend" there were a few audible gasps "That's great Bluey!" Judo smiled at her "Well when you get a birthday gift like that how are the others going to compare?" Lucky joked with them. Bluey looked around only to see Jack was missing "Anyone see Jack? Didn't he show up with you guys?" Bluey looked to Rusty who nodded. "Yeah, he went to get pinata for your party, Indy told him to get the most annoying one he could find" Mackenzie was confused "Why does it have to be annoying?" Rusty smiled "So nobody holds back on it and swings as hard as they can" Mackenzie nodded "Makes sense" "You know, seeing us all here makes me miss Calypso" Rusty spoke. Bluey nodded in agreement "I managed to invite her but she said that she was on a trip with some friends" "Well at least she's enjoying some time with her friends" Indy added.
It didn't take long before Jack had returned with a large bag, he pulled out a pinata which would make Bluey feel a bit of anger for one simple reason - it was chattermax. "Oh no, not that" Bluey said as she facepalmed. Jack laughed "Indy said something very annoying, and my sister Lulu had one of these" growing up. Bluey remembered the last time she saw her chattermax, she was having a bad day and chattermax activated and wouldn't shut up, that was enough for her to find a way to shatter the thing to bits. Soon enough Jack and Snickers had managed to tie the chattermax pinata to one of the tree's branches "Who's first?" Jack asked, holding a wooden stick and a blindfold. Some of the dancers formed a line in front of the tree. "You know, you're beginning to look a bit like your dad" Bluey told Lucky who nodded "Thanks Bluey, makes me glad you think so" He smiled "How's your mum been?" Judo asked him. "She's been doing really well actually, Chucky is still a bit odd at times but he's seemed to calm down a bit as well" he took a sip from his cup and tossed it in a nearby bin "I haven't seen any cake" he mentioned. Bluey looked towards her kitchen "I'll get it, my mum left it in the fridge!"
Bluey ran inside towards the kitchen but she stopped, as he had noticed one of the doors that led to the front yard had been left open, she simply figured Jack had opened it and forgot to close it. She walked over to the door and looked at her neighborhood, much hadn't changed in the past few years, there were some new plants, some homes were painted a different color, and some cars she hadn't recognized would frequent some of the neighboring homes, she then closed the door and went to the kitchen to get her birthday cake "Wonder if dad would go nuts if he found out I got a boyfriend the same day him and mum go on vacation" She giggled as she opened the fridge. She saw a three layered chocolate cake that was decorated with purple frosting and had her name on the top. She grabbed the cake and awkwardly tried to grab another bottle of soda with her tail "Uh…" Winnie spoke having entered where Bluey was "Is this a bad time?" Bluey laughed thinking how odd she must look "Erm…I met wolfdog who would frequently grab this and use his tail like that, anyway what's up?" Winnie grabbed the bottle of soda for Bluey and the two began to walk to the backyard "Your friend's pretty cute" Bluey nodded "Yeah Mackenzie is pretty cute" Winnie was confused "Mackenzie? I mean Chloe" "Oh" Bluey smiled at the quick confusion "She's my best friend and I can tell, she's into you" Winnnie smiled at her "So youre saying I have a chance?" Bluey nodded "Absolutely! Just don't try to correct her about octopi" Winnie laughed "Don't worry, she told me about her dad" the two had sat the cake and soda on a table. "Hey Bluey, it's your turn!" Indy walked over to Bluey and quickly handed her the stick and blindfold. Indy then led her towards where the pinata was and tied the blindfold onto her "Alright get ready" Indy said as Bluey nodded. Chattermax pinata had taken some damage but wasn't fully broken. Bluey imagined the actual toy was in front of her, making those annoying little sounds it always made, she swung once and felt the stick miss "So close Bluey!" Jack said as he pulled the pinata with a string. Bluey swung again but felt the stick his nothing but air. Bluey then grew enraged, imagining Chattermax dancing around the place and getting louder she swung once again, this time she felt the pinata break and the stick hit the ground "Holy shit Bluey!" Rusty said "Didn't know you were that strong!" Bluey was confused "Huh?" She pulled her blindfold down to see that not only had she managed to break the pinata, she swung so hard that the stick itself had managed to split apart, surprising even Bluey. Bluey smiled as her friends rushed to get some candy "Anyway…who wants some cake?!"
Everyone got plates and napkins and they were each handed a slice of cake "Come on, can't I have a larger slice than everyone else? After all we are dating" Mackenzie pleaded with her "You get the same size as everyone else lover boy!" Snickers told him. "Besides, you only just started dating!" Jack added. Mackenzie rolled his eyes as Bluey giggled at them "Sorry, but fair is fair" Mackenize playfully groaned before accepting the size of his slice and sitting with Rusty and Jack. "Either of you would have guessed that Winton and Snickers would be a thing?" Mackenzie asked the other two boys while they ate their cake. "No honestly, I was pretty surprised myself" Rusty said. Jack looked at the two of them "I thought it was obvious" Rusty and Mackenzie looked at JJack in confusion "It…is?" Rusty asked. Jack nodded "I mean they seemed to hang out together a lot, even more after we left Calypso's class. Mackenzie shook his head "That doesn't make it obvious, if it did then people would think that you and Rusty are dating" The two looked at each other before they blushed and looked away "Well if Rusty asked me out I'd probably give him a chance" Jack winked at Rusty, if he wasn't already red from his fur color, he'd definitely be red now. Mackenzie raised an eyebrow "Now that I think about it, I wonder how Indy feels?" Rusty smiled and shrugged "Maybe I'm just so good looking that I get both boys and girls?" Jack nudged him "Yeah keep dreaming mate" The three boys laughed together.
As the hours passed, the party guests would continue to dance, laugh, and play together until they would slowly start heading home. Snickers would walk over to Winton who was snoozing on the floor of Bluey's playroom. Snickers had bent and started to pick Winton up "He seems a bit heavy, you need some help there?" Rusty asked. Snickers shook his head I've gotten used to this" he lifted Winton with ease, shocking Rusty. Jack walked over to them "Something's been bothering me all day" Snickers looked at Jack "What's that?" Jack smiled nervously "So uh…when you two wanna…" he chuckled at the thought before continuing "When you two kiss? Does the height make it awkward?" Snickers laughed at the question "Well you see, it's like this" he smirked then raised Winton closer to his head, then he quickly moved in to kiss Winton and moved his hat in front of their faces to prevent Rusty and Jack from seeing the full thing. "Aww man, I wanted to see" Indy said, having stood behind the two. Winton's tail wagged as Snickers set him down and placed his hat back onto his head "Maybe someday you will Indy" Winton teased. "Looks like someone's a little sleeping beauty huh?" Jack stated with a smile. "We gotta get going before his mum worries…again" Winton said as he started walking towards the exit. Snickers had smiled and followed after him. "Hey wait, they didn't toss their plates in the bin" Rusty complained. "Don't worry about it, I got it" Lucky said as he was helping clean up the party. Mackenzie was taking down the remains of the chattermax pinata "Remind me not to make Bluey angry" he spoke to Judo. Judo laughed "Who would've guessed that she'd break the stick too? You make her mad and you will regret it.
Bluey went back inside to grab more bin bags and looked out one of the windows she smiled as she saw Chloe and Winnie continuing to talk to each other "Good luck, you two" she then went back downstairs and noticed the front door was opened again "Did Winton and Snickers forget to closer it?" She shrugged and walked over to the door, she heard footsteps approaching her from behind. She tried to turn but was shoved to the ground and quickly grabbed, a strange masked dog began to drag her outside "Your mum ever teach you to lock doors?!" the voice was feminine. Bluey let out a loud scream to alert her friends that something was wrong. Bluey struggled against the strange dog until they pulled out a cloth and held it to her nose, she tried to hold her breath but it was futile as she would have to inhale. The dog stomped on Bluey's foot causing her to shout. "BLUEY! WHO ARE YOU?!" Mackenzie, Jack and Rusty began to run towards the masked person, Jack had come very close due to being the fastest of the three but he was tripped. Bluey was starting to pass out from the substances, the last thing she saw was Mackenzie reaching for her "BLUEY? BLUEY!" Bluey struggled to hold her breath "...kenzie" she uttered as she lost consciousness. "Drop her! You're outnumbered!" Chloe yelled with her and Winnie blocking the exits. Lucky and Judo were behind Rusty. "What? Think I havent been outnumbered before?" she asked. "It's a girl?" Judo questioned. The strange dog set Bluey down then reached behind her and pulled out pepper spray, before anyone could move she then pulled out a blade and pierced the pepper spray canister, all of the surrounding dogs felt intense stinging in their noses as this dog picked up Bluey and dashed outside with her body. "NO!" Mackenzie chased after her but was quickly tackled by another masked dog "Stay down!" This one had a masculine voice. The others tried running until they saw the other masked dog pull out another can of pepper spray "BACK!" The female had tossed Bluey into a truck and honked the horn. The male slowly backed away and kept the can pointed at them to keep them away before he turned to get into the truck. "Let's get-" The male yelled in pain as he felt something sharp pierce his leg. He quickly looked down to see Mackenzie had sunk his teeth into his leg. "DON'T HURT MY BLUEY!" The other dog quickly grew irritated "I SAID-" he pulled a baton out of the truck "Mackenzie let go!" Chloe yelled "STAY DOWN!" Mackenzie looked up only to get smacked hard in the head, forcing him to stop biting. The other dog didn't seem satisfied with just hitting Mackenzie "I'M BLEEDING YOU BITCH!" He sprayed Mackenzie with the pepper spray for a solid 2-3 seconds before he climbed in the truck. The truck then sped away, the masked dogs having Bluey in their custody.
Mackenzie was in immense pain "Bluey! BLUEY!" he tried to stand up. Rusty and Lucky tried helping him up but he seemed to be too aggressive to think about what was happening "Let go of me! I need to save her!" his eyes were completely bloodshot from the pepper spray. Coco walked in front of him and slapped him, making him instantly calm down somehow. "Coco? What?" he seemed confused as Coco stood in front of him "Calm down and think Mackenzie!" Coco was visibly upset and worried for Bluey "We need to call the police, tell them everything that happened. "We don't have time for that! She could- what if they want to kill her?!" Judo placed her hand on Mackenzie's shoulder "I don't think they wanted to kill her, we had no way of stopping them if they wanted to" Mackenzie growled and held his head "You don't know that! You don't know them" Winnie rubbed her nose "We can't smell anything, all that damn pepper spray!" Jack growled "I couldn't save her" Mackenzie slowly stood up "I need to…need to find her!" he was stopped by Lucky "You aren't going to help her like this, Chloe called the police, we need to clean this mess and get this pepper spray off ourselves"
Some time later, Bluey woke up in a van, it was hot and very arid. "Wha-?" Her nose felt terrible and her head had hurt. "Finally awake?" Bluey heard a voice and looked around until she saw a masked dog. "You? Why did you take me?" The masked dog let out a chuckle "Wouldn't you like to know?" Bluey tried to push herself up but she couldn't, her hands were tied behind her back. She looked around to see where they were "A desert?" The masked dog nodded "The Great Victoria" Bluey managed to sit up "Why are we here?" the masked dog chuckled "Because you're going to suffer here, and die" Bluey looked at her confused "Why? What did I do to you?" She laughed then opened a door of the van, then she grabbed Bluey and dragged her to the door. The sun was scorching outside "P-please, don't do this" "Hey sis, you just going to let that Blue bitch suffer?" the other male dog asked. She nodded "After all, she's why Bingo suffered" Bluey's eyes widened at the mention of Bingo's name "Who are you?" The masked dog tossed Bluey out the van and onto the sand she then pulled her mask off revealing her face to Bluey. "Bluey Heeler, Bingo was my very best friend and you killed her" She gained a wicked grin on her face "I've been waiting a long time to carry out this plan, now take your punishment" Bluey looked into the eyes of this other dog and saw her intense hatred "You asked who I am? My name is Lila. Bingo was supposed to be my friend! Forever! And Ever! AND EVER!" Bluey gasped once she remembered Bingo's maltese friend. "Untie me at least! Please?" Lila shook her head "I said suffer" Lila closed the door to the van and it drove off, leaving Bluey alone and in danger of Australia's harsh desert environment.
