Well I'm back again to the hate and applause of certain groups and or individuals of interest, um in any case this chapter is mostly going to focus on Virmire but I've decided that the First part of said chapter should be a small ish side story to help close off particular character arcs or to simply build on the elements within the story , either way I'm just giving you a heads up so I don't hear even more autism coming from the review box. Okay don't get me wrong I appreciate any of the reviews, good or bad, but I swear to Christ and the holy spirt some of the people that review this fic are children of the highest extent. Yeah I know the Mass effect fanbase does vary a lot from "logical human beings" to Degenerates and finally to character cults (E.G. Talimancers, Shekarians, ect.) so yeah, like really I swear half of the reviews that come in are complaining about Humanity being Slavic (Which I mean if you were to look at the 2nd fucking chapter of the fic and examine the contents of said chapter then you should have been able to figure out that the Slavs where the least fucked of the cultural groups that survived the Machine war) or Humanity being Overpowered (Which I means its not its basically on par with the Council in terms of Industrial output and is utter dwarfed by them when it comes to Population size) or hell in the more recent one I got accused of being biased in favour of the fucking Council I shit you not.

Now granted I am fairly sure that most of the reviews that come in are from people who basically skimmed over large chunks of the Chapters themselves, which I mean is somewhat understandable since the first few chapters are fucking enormous in terms of word count and since like 80% of the criticism when It comes to the plot of the story comes from those Chapters I generally think that is what has happened.

Of course there is certain aspects which I certainly would of like to have gone over in more detail (E.G. Valerie and Vasirs """""""""""""""""Relationship"""""""""""""""""""""") and I do mean that with a series of massive, utterly ungodly, amount of asterisks, because it really wasn't supposed to come off as anything other than that, like seriously I intended for that to show how ruthless Vasir was but It kind of went to shit in a hand basket since at the time I had no idea on what I wanted to do with said two characters (Again they are minor characters so they wouldn't show up all that much later down the line) which meant that I couldn't really use it as a springboard to explore either of those characters as it would be a pretty big waste of time. Basically for those who couldn't read the above Vasir in three weeks later was to more show Vasir's ruthlessness but I kind of botched it, badly, which is why the first part of this chapter exists.

Um in any case that was my rant for the day, I hope you enjoy the Fic.

Oh and another thing that I should express with extreme importance is that a fairly large chunk of the Mass Effect fanbase is made up of young people roughly between the ages of 13-16, which is honestly why I think quite a lot of the reviews not only for this fic but for other mass effect fan fics are pretty dumb as well to put it simply a large portion (Not all) of the viewer base is simply too young to understand a lot of what is happening within this fic. Which I mean if your below 16 you really should not be reading this fic like at all, sure they're no graphic descriptions of sex (sort off) within it but I mean people get killed in graphic and brutal ways and I'm not going to shy away from describing it so please for the love of god if you are below 16 DO NOT read this fic for fucks shake its going to be dark as shit and if you want to read a story that's good but not dark as my one try Fenix-Fether shit, he's a good author who doesn't have vivid descriptions of people being crucified or space racism times by 1000000000000000.

Last but not least I should probably say that quite a lot of the "Non-Game" lore about the Quarians was made by Calienstein as Bioware Developers were clearly too busy blowing coke and spending the rest of the work time on Liara's freckles or something like that (Believe me Bioware Devs waste a lot of time all you have to do is look at Anthems development for an example).

Um in any case actual end of rant and I hope that you enjoy the story or something like that.

The Citadel, Widow Nebula.

Location: Teyseri Ward, Near the Cathedral of Luprael the Pious.

Vasir Gulped as she approached the entrance to the Massive Cathedral, she Really did not want to come here. Not only because of the fact that a Councilist, never less a Spectre within Teyseri Ward always had a target on their back, either from the local vigilante groups or from the Xaanthite Militiamen of their numerous Holy Orders. But also due to personal reasons.

Valerie didn't exactly take all that well to Vasirs actions back on that ship 30 years ago. Vasir couldn't exactly blame her though, she had more or less influenced , no forced, Valerie into doing what they... no what she wanted through less than gentle means.

Asari generally had a wide arrange of advantages over most races, universal sex appeal was one of those.

Of course the way that the Asari body accomplished this wasn't by changing the appearance of their body to match what the target viewed as "Attractive" but was generally done through specialized glands located on the skin that released specialized pheromones that, after being inhaled by the target would very rapidly bond and adapt itself to the targets nervous system and make the target view the "Asari" as being equal or in some cases even more appealing than members of their own species.

This Generally wasn't enough though to make a target lose all of their control however, especially for such a Pious woman such as Valerie, to accomplish that typically took a great amount of control and effort using biotics to more or less remove the mental barriers of the target and to allow for their more, carnal, instincts to take hold.

Vasir certainly wasn't proud of what she did that day but at the time she viewed it as, necessary, in order to guarantee the loyalty of Valerie in their escape attempt from that hell hole of a ship, after all she knew about her was that she was a priestess of some kind of a ship that the current occupants where adamant in trying to kill her and what few remaining commandos she had. Of course their was also the fact that she needed to let off steam, with the last reason being something she tried to bury as much as she could, wanting to avoid the guilt of defiling something so, beautiful.

The Fact that Valerie quickly broke off contact with her as soon as she arrived on the Citadel was a sign that Vasirs actions had, damaged the girl a lot mentally, which filled Vasir heart with grief and sorrow, sure, she certainly didn't love the human but Valerie didn't deserve that to happen to her, being used by some Asari who was looking for a way to blow of steam.

Of course Vasir certainly did face consequences for her actions, for one her bond mate of several decades broke up with her shortly after she got back to the Citadel, she couldn't exactly blame Terari, Asari like most species where extremely Jealous and protective of their mates and the betrayal that Terari suffered that day broke her already fragile heart, no matter how pragmatic Vasir reasoning was.

Though the main reason why she was here was for other reasons, to put it simply her leads when it came to finding out about whatever the Terrans where worked up over were running out so she only really had one choice, and that was to travel here.

Vasir would be pulled out from her thoughts as she approached the large door that lead into the Cathedral itself, before she could enter however two guards, garbed in the apparel of the Militant Order of the Holy Pyre would approach her before one of them would say.

"Oi, dog of the Council, the Cathedral is closed to the likes of you, say why you are here or piss off." the Guard would say motioning to his Plasma rifle to further drive his point home as Vasir would reply saying.

"I need to meet with Cardinal Valerie, it is of urgent importance that I do so." Vasir would say as the Guard would respond saying.

"Well will see about that won't we dog, Vargas get Valerie on the line, see if she wants to see this Councilist filth herself." Vargas would nod before pulling out his omnitool and engaging in a silent conversation with the person on the other side before stopping and whispering into the other guards ear before said guard would nod before saying.

"You will be allowed to enter this sanctuary of god, dog of the council, so long as you agree to relinquish all of your weapons." Vasir, knowing that arguing with the guard would get her nowhere would silently nod before placing her rifle, pistol, and shotgun onto a nearby table as the two guards would open the door escorting her inside.

The Cathedral was empty and quite, which made sense considering that it was currently the Citadels night cycle and most of the Nuns, Monks, and Warrior Priests would be resting. Walking past the numerous rows of pews that lined the Cathedral, Vasir and her two escorts would eventually arrive at the Alter where someone, most likely Valerie was praying at the base of it.

"Cardinal Valerie we have brought in the person you requested." Valerie would nod before turning around to see Vasir standing in her blue spectre armour.

Vasir would see Valerie's eyes darken with hate as a viscous scowl would cross her lips before Valerie would say.

"Guards, you are dismissed, return to your stations." Valerie would say with barely held contempt as the two guards, thinking for a moment, would nod their heads before walking back towards the large double doors at the other end of the Cathedral.

"Valerie, I..." Before Vasir could continue Valerie would roar a the top of her lungs saying.

"WHY HAVE YOU INVADED MY SANCTUARY, SNAKE, DO YOU SEEK TO DEFILE ME A SECOND TIME, TO BREAK MY OATH WITH THE ALL FATHER AGAIN!?" Valerie would Roar out across the room as Vasir would, attempting to form a reply, would say.

"No, Goddess I would never, I've come seeking knowledge..." Before Vasir could continue Valerie would pull out a blade hidden within her cloak before holding it to Vasirs throat and saying.

"Give me one good reason to not slit your throat, right here, and right now." Valerie would say, hate permeating throughout her voice as Vasir would respond saying.

"You want one, alright then, if you do slit my throat, then I can guarantee that the council will swarm Teyseri ward with tens of thousands of C-Sec officers, killing every single one of you Leaguer Pricks and taking your children, your boys and girls, to be sold on Ekuna where I'm sure they'll be raped at best by the local Batarians, or Goddess knows what at worst, do you want to risk that Valerie?" Vasir would ask as Valerie would think for several seconds, before snarling and removing the blade from Vasirs throat before saying in a hate fuelled tone.

"You have five minutes, after that you better be gone, less the Presidium finds itself without breathable air in the near future." Vasir would gulp with understanding as the Asari would quickly ask the question that had caused her to come down here in the first place.

"While I do not trust your auguries or your "Mysticism" I must ask this question, do you know what the Reapers are?" Valeries expression would change from that of hate to that of fear within a matter of seconds as the Human would reply saying.

"They are the Harbingers of the Apocalypse, the Husks of the Damned, they are the four Horsemen and so much more, that is what the Texts say on them in any case, but why would you care about such mythological creatures in the first place, I wonder?" Vasir would nod, thankful that Valerie had calmed down somewhat before saying.

"I've been tasked by the Council to figure out what these "Reapers" are and to discern if they are real or Bible fan-fiction." Before Vasir could continue Valerie would reply saying.

"They are very much real Dog of the Council, if you need proof you will find it within the Cluster of Gas and Tears where you will find the planet where the power of the gods gouged out an rift onto the planets surface, their you will find your answers." Valerie would say as Vasir, realising that she would run out of time very soon would quickly interject saying.

"How do you know all of this in the first place?" Vasir would ask as Valerie would say replying.

"The Tarot Readers discern many things, not just those of the future but of the past and present." Valerie would say before her expression would turn dark before saying in a much more threatening tone. "Your presence here is an affront to god and he is demanding that If you do not leave soon then your blood must be spilt, Leave now." Understanding that her welcome had run out Vasir would nod before running towards the exit leaving Valerie in peace.

Normandy, Deck Four.

Location: Cargo Bay, In Virmire Orbit.

"Alright I assume everyone knows what we're doing?" Shepard would ask as Havier would respond saying.

"Going on a Joyride in the MAKO until we reach the Salarian camp and of course killing anything in our way Ma'am." Havier would say before providing a mock salute, straitening up his back in order to appear more professional as well which would cause Shepard to laugh slightly before responding.

"Could not of put it in any better way Havier." Shepard would say before continuing "Of course it is more complicated than that, while their isn't any evidence of Seppie presence near the Salarian Camp, and presumably Sarens compound of wonders, this is probably mostly due to its isolated position on Virmire, sooner or later the Seppies will send people down to investigate, we are on a limited time schedule people so I don't want people wondering off and collecting sea shells or some bullshit like that." Shepard would finish as Charr, with his characteristic wisdom would respond saying.

"Why aren't we just dropping straight at the Salarian camp though?" Several snickers and chuckles would resonate from around the group as Shepard would turn to Address the Krogan before saying.

"That is because they have set up three AA batteries along the beach, luckily the route that we are going to go down will allow us to destroy each of these batteries along the beach." Shepard would say before continuing "You would of already known this is you weren't busy putting your head up a Varrens ass as I explained this five minutes ago." Charr would snarl slightly as Shepard would back up slightly to a nearby crate before looking at Tali, Havier, Garrus, Charr, Kurtz, Liara, Cyreen, Ashley, and Kaiden individually to confirm their presence before saying.

"Alright, if anyone needs a toilet break or anything before we hit ground side because as stated before we won't have enough time for a break until we reach wherever the Salarian camp is." Seeing that no one had taken up her offer Shepard would nod her head in confirmation before pulling a hand up to her commbead before saying.

"Joker, how long till we hit ground side?" Shepard would ask as Joker's voice would reply over the commbead saying.

"Around about five minutes commander, also in case it has to be said i'm not going to be able to help you guys out till the AA guns are disabled, just a heads up in case one of you guys get the bright idea to call me for help." Kurtz would nod his head in understanding before responding.

"The universe is a harsh place, a crucible in which our faith and steel is tested, all we can do is persevere till the bitter end." Havier, seemingly agreeing with Kurtz poetry would nod before responding.

"Would of put it in a more simple way but yeah teats the general gist of things, at the very least we know that Saren doesn't want anyone visiting his facility on Virmire judging by the muscle that's been left here, won't be to surprised if we see more of Saren's Krogan show up as well." Havier would say as Kaiden would reply saying.

"Yeah, well It maybe a good idea if we load up into the MAKO rather than stand around and gossip like fishwives at the market?" Shepard would nod her head in agreement before responding.

"Agreed, everyone get your asses into the MAKO we are dropping in three." Shepard would say as her squad would respond to her orders filling into the back of the MAKO, a few moments after everyone had seated themselves within the MAKO the Normandy's cargo bay doors would open allowing for the MAKO to exit the stealth frigate and drop rapidly towards the ground like a metal comet from hell.

Virmire, Murkland Island.

Location: Near Salarian Camp, Hidden Cove.

"Got no sight on further Geth walkers Shepard, think that's the last of them." Garrus would say as Shepard would nod her head before replying.

"Good, according to the Map the Salarian camp is literally around the corner, now once we get their I don't want any bitching or fighting with the toads, we have a job to do after all and killing Salarians is not that job." Shepard would say as she heard the mumbled growl of Charr from where the Krogan was seated, getting the expected reaction from the Krogan, Shepard would turn her thoughts to the recent battle on the beach.

The battle on the Beach had been a fairly intense fight she had to admit to herself, the Geth certainly didn't want Shepard and her squad getting further inland and had thrown a lot at her squads direction, Colossuses, Troopers, Armatures, Primes, anything that the Geth had on hand they threw in the general direction of her squad.

Thankfully thanks to the MAKO and Tali and Cyreen no one had actually died during the assault on the Geth FOBS on the beach, with the only person who had been injured during the entire ordeal being Charr who more or less shrugged off the wound to his head crest.

Of course the main reason to their current success could mostly be attributed to the Terrain and the advantages offered by the MAKO, mainly speed and manoeuvrability, while the Geth siege pulse cannon was capable of destroying the MAKO within two hits it was rare for the cannon to actually hit the MAKO as not only was the MAKO fast, but also the projectile of the siege pulse cannon was extremely slow, giving the MAKO ample amounts of time to seek cover behind the many rocks within the Cove of the Island. Of course when the Geth managed to pin the MAKO down in one spot then Tali and Cyreen came to the rescue, with both of them managing to hack one, or in one case three Armatures at once, forcing the Geth to fight their own war machines and giving the MAKO more than enough time to exploit the Geth's disarray to Shepard's advantage.

"Alright kids, good chance the Salarians are going to be on the jumpy side so let me do the talking okay." Shepard would say as several members of her squad would nod their heads in acknowledgment before the MAKO would arrive at a large area which Shepard presumed to be the Salarian camp, judging by the several Pre-fab structures scattered around the area in a orderly fashion.

In any case the MAKO would soon come to a stop with the squad exiting out of the back of the Vehicle in an orderly manner.

Soon afterwards Shepard would see Three Salarians march towards her squad, two with their weapons drawn while another had his pistol holstered by his waste.

"Who are you and why are you here?" The Salarian would ask as Shepard would respond saying.

"I'm Captain Shepard of the Norman..." Before Shepard could continue the Salarian would pull out his pistol, aiming it directly at the Commanders head before saying.

"You are lying, must be Sarens spy, squad must be Sarens contractors, can't have you tell Saren, must kill you." The Salarian would say, just as Shepard was about to disarm the clearly shaken Salarian a loud, booming would would shout out saying.

"ELGAR'LI VARREN!" Turning to face the direction of where the voice came from Shepard would see a Eldar who had clearly suffered grievous injuries in the past, if the cloth covering his eye and the scar that protruded from beneath it was any sign to go by. Shepard had to admit that the Eldar was surprisingly rugged for their race, but before her thoughts could continue the Eldar would speak up again saying.

"Kirrahe, why are you holding a gun up to people who for all we know our are backup?" The Eldar would ask as Kirrahe thought for a moment before lowering his gun, and saying to the commander.

"Sorry, Captain Shepard, as you can tell we are all on edge at the moment so I'll try my best to explain the situation to you, assuming you are the vanguard of our back up we asked for?" Before Shepard could reply the Eldar, who had been examining her squad would shout out saying.

"Havier, you dirty bastard I wasn't expecting to see you here!?" The Eldar would shout out as Havier would nod before shouting out saying.

"And I wasn't expecting to see your ugly ass working with the Toads Eorveth!?" Havier would say as the two men shook each others arms at the Elbow before Shepard would respond saying.

"Wait, you two know each other?" Shepard would ask the two men as Havier would reply saying.

"Yeah we've been best buds since the godforsaken day on Torfan, worked with each other on and off over the years as well." Shepard would raise an eyebrow at Havier's words before replying.

"But I thought you and Kai Leng where the only ones to survive that bloodbath?" Shepard would ask as Eorveth would respond saying.

"Only 'Human' survivors, I was the only Aethelemi to survive that day." Shepard would nod before deciding to turn and Face Kirrahe before saying.

"Umm I am to assume that you think that we've got an entire division in orbit waiting to come down at a moments notice?" Kirrahe would nod as Shepard would reply "Well your shit out of luck, this is all your getting."

Kirrahe would quickly reply saying.

"But, I explicitly asked for a full task force, not a single squad of Terrans, no disrespect commander but even with your teams skills there are hundreds of Geth, Krogan and who knows what else entrenched in that facility so I have to question the competency of your leaders commander." Shepard would hold up her hands in a defensive posture before responding.

"Well to be fair we could barely understood what was said in the message in the first place and Virmire is in Confederate space so even if we knew what was here theirs no way in hell the High Marshals going to risk war with the Confederacy while also fighting a war with the Geth, and in any case do you know what Saren's doing here in the first place?" Shepard would ask as Eorveth would nod before responding.

"Not much other than he's Cloning an army of Krogan in their, though judging by the size of the facility there is probably more going on their if I were to guess." Charr would snarl before saying.

"That Pyjack is growing my people as slaves for his army, Shepard we can't let him live." Shepard would nod her head in agreement as Kirrahe would say.

"Surprised, though Krogan would have been more angry?" Charr would growl slightly before responding.

"And why should I?" Charr would ask as Kirrahe would respond saying.

"Forgot to mention that facility has to be destroyed, wouldn't be able to hold onto it for long considering, as the commander has stated, Virmire is a Confederate world, can't risk the facility falling back into Saren's hands, changed your opinion on the Situation, Krogan?" Charr would shake his head as Kirrahe would respond surprised saying.

"Surprised, really okay with Genophage cure being destroyed?" Charr would growl slightly before responding.

"The Genophage has already been cured Pyjack, this facility is an abomination to the Krogan people and will be destroyed." Charr would say before turning to face Shepard and saying.

"Shepard I can't take taking to this Pyjack any more. I'll be seeing if there's anything to eat in the MAKO or something." Charr would say before wondering off to the MAKO, which by this point had been vacated as most of the squad, bar Havier, had decided to help the Salarian and Eldari around the camp with one task or another.

"We should continue this conversation inside the Central Command Pre-fab." Eorveth would say as both Kirrahe and Shepard would nod their heads in agreement with the Three of them along with Havier would make their way up to the larger than usual Pre-fab that the Salarians had converted into their command Center.

Virmire, Murkland Island.

Location: Salarian Camp, Command Center.

Walking into the Pre-fab that the Salarians called a command centre it was rather obvious to Shepard that the Salarians had been forced to make do with anything they could of salvaged from their ship, if the half broken consoles and holographic interfaces where anything to go by in any case.

Before Shepard could continue to examine the surrounding room however Kirrahe would input several commands into the large central console in the centre of the room causing it to activate displaying a holographic map of what was most likely the Facility which they had to blow up, somehow.

"Before we start discussing how we are going to actually assault this thing I think we need to address the 200 pound Grox within the room, how are we going to blow up the damn thing in the first place?" Havier would ask addressing the same question that Shepard had before Kirrahe would respond saying.

"Managed to convert our ships drive core into a 'Bomb' of sorts, should be roughly equivalent to a "Hellion" class nuclear warhead in terms of TNT output." Kirrahe would say as Shepard would respond.

"I take it theirs a reason why you haven't tried to use it yet though isn't their?" Shepard would ask as Eorveth would respond saying.

"Yes the things too damn heavy to carry all the way to the compound, and in any case there is no way in the creators holy ballsacks that we would actually manage to get inside of the compound before, still sceptical of our chances even now but 1 is better than zero as they say." The Eldar would say as Kirrahe would respond saying.

"Agree with my colleague, our chances low but not zero, in terms of attack plan we should split our forces into three, Eorveth and his Eldirnae'vornethie commandos will attack down this sewer tunnel here, while I lead my forces in an attack on the front of the compound." Kirrahe would say pointing at several points on the holographic map as Shepard would respond saying.

"Alright where am I going though?" Shepard would ask as Kirrahe would reply saying.

"You will lead your squad down this path here, Lightly guarded, Geth most likely think its impassible, and attack them from the rear, keep them off balance, should allow you to easily access the first AA gun and disable it, likely Geth have support assets around here, would be grateful if you could take them out." Shepard would nod in understanding as Havier would say.

"And I guess someone will be transporting the bomb using the Normandy correct?" Havier would ask as Kirrahe and Eorveth would nod their heads as Havier would continue saying.

"Well if that's the case then we will need to leave the Marines with it along with someone to command them, the Geth are probably going to figure out that the present we left them is bad news and will likely be throwing everything they got at it, good news for the assault teams as it means they'll be less of the metal devils in our way, but then again if they overwhelm the team guarding the thing they could potentially disarm it rendering the whole assault a failure." Eorveth would nod his head in agreement before saying.

"Agreed, unfortunately I can't spare any of my commandos, the fight up the Run-off tunnel is going to be a slog and a half and I need every man I can get, I suggest sending someone who's a capable fighter and who is not named 'Havier Udina'." Shepard would raise an eyebrow at Eorveth equally matched by Havier as Shepard would respond saying.

"Why do you need Havier exactly?" Shepard would ask as Eorveth would respond saying.

"I need more gunmen in all due reality, and from prior experiences I know that Havier is more than capable of filling that roll a hundred fold, also I kind of need a tech specialist to open the flood gates as my own one died during the trip here so..." Eorveth would say before Shepard would interrupt saying.

"Alright fine, you can have Havier and Tali, make sure the two of them don't decide to go at it like rabbits while in the middle of the assault though, last thing I need is for Havier to be in the Med-bay because of being bitten by a creature with sharp teeth." Havier's face would turn a deep shade of red as Kirrahe would cough slightly before saying.

"Also in similar situation to Eorveth, need more experienced people, only one should suffice though, also agree with Havier, someone's going to have to be with the bomb." Shepard would think for a moment before replying saying.

"Kaiden will help you with the Assault, he's a capable biotic and tech adept and should be of some use while going up against the Geth, our resident gunnery Sergeant Ashley Williams will stay with the bomb and guard it till we are ready to exfiltrate along with the Squad of Marines we have in reserve." Shepard would say as Kirrahe would nod before responding.

"Good, suggest you explain what is happening to your respective squads, I need to 'Rile up' my people in the mean time, goodbye." Kirrahe would say before exiting the Pre-fab who would soon be followed out by Eorveth, Havier, and Shepard respectively.

Virmire, Murkland Island.

Location: Near Washout Tunnel, Ridge 330.

"How many Geth are their?" Eorveth would ask to Havier who was currently looking down at the entrance to the large sewer network/flood tunnel would say.

"At the entrance, a squad, three troopers, two rocketeers, and a prime, thankfully they probably can't fit a colossus into the sewer so the heaviest things they'll be able to bring in there will be primes, I think in any case." Havier would say as Eorveth would nod to himself before turning to his Vrei and saying.

"Alright kids, I don't want any one of you dying so when I tell you to duck, you duck, when I tell you fire, you fire, and when I tell you to jump you say how high, DO YOU UNDERSTAND!?" Eorveth would say as the several Eldar of his Commandarie would shout out in unison.

"Yes Sir!." The Eldar would shout out in unison as Eorveth would nod before responding.

"Good, we are the Eldirnae, we fight in the shadows so our kin may live in the light, we fight abominations that would make a Jannisary wet themselves in terror, and no matter how dark the situation may be we will always prevail." Eorveth would say before turning his attention to Havier and Tali who were both looking over an omnitool on Tali's hand.

"...Well shit." Havier would say as Tali would nod, but before the Quarian could respond Eorveth would reply saying.

"What's the problem?" Eorveth would ask as Tali would respond before Havier could saying.

"The Tunnel that we are planning to use also acts as a sort of drainage system for the area where Saren's base is located, as in actuality the..." Before Tali could continue Havier would interject saying.

"Basically the land that the Compound is built upon is actually reclaimed and this sewer system seems to be the only thing preventing the land from being consumed by the ocean." Eorveth would raise an eyebrow at Havier's statement before responding.

"And why is that a problem?" Eorveth would ask as Tali would respond saying.

"Because the flood gates have to be opened every five minutes or it could lead to the whole system becoming clogged up with water which would lead to extensive flooding within the facility." Eorveth would nod in understanding before he would respond saying.

"Yeah that's a pretty serious problem, are their any side rooms or passages that we could shelter in while the tunnels flood?" Eorveth would ask as Havier would think for a moment before nodding and saying.

"Yes but they are spaced out fairly far apart from each other, it'll be a challenge but if we were to leap frog from one to another we should be able to reach the flood gates, getting past that point is going to be a challenge though since there is like a shit-tone of water on the other side of said flood gate." Tali would shake her head, surprising Eorveth before saying.

"No we should be able to get through the floodgates without getting drowned as they are designed like an airlock so the centre part is always free of water, and said centre part has two staircases that lead up to the facility itself so getting past the floodgates isn't what I am worried about is the amount of time it'll take to open the floodgate itself." Eorveth would look at Tali quizicly before asking.

"What do you mean?" Eorveth would ask as Tali would respond saying.

"Well... that gate has some fairly advanced firewall systems on it, nothing that I can't break but its going to take me some time to do it considering that will have to shelter from the water coming out of the gate." Tali would say as Eorveth would respond saying.

"How long are we talking about though exactly?" Tali would respond saying.

"I would say Ten or so minutes, maybe more." Eorveth would nod as Nerwey, one of Eorveth's commandos would respond saying.

"Looks like we are in for a fight and a half right sir?" Nerwey would ask Eorveth as Eorveth would reply to the woman saying.

"Looks like it, and I take it that since we will be underground we won't be able to use our comm beads to communicate with the other teams?" Eorveth would as Tali as the Quarian woman would nod her head in confirmation as Eorveth would sigh slightly before turning to face Havier and saying.

"Alright this is what we are going to do, one we get into the Tunnel we are going to split the squad into two groups of four, Havier will lead group 2 while I'll lead group 1, once we get into the tunnel I want everyone to set a recurring 4:30 minutes timer, once that timer ends you all are going to throw flash, black out, hell even fucking smoke grenades and run towards the nearest shelter, one we get towards the end of the tunnel everyone is going to group up around the gate and give miss Zorah as much time as she needs to get the damn thing open, does everyone understand what I am trying to say." All of the commandos would nod their heads as in understanding as Eorveth would smile to himself before saying.

"Good, lets show these bastards what we are made off, CHARGE!" Eorveth would say as he would charge out of the foliage he was hidden and straight towards the Geth that where milling around the entrance to the tunnel, shortly afterwards the rest of his squad and Tali and Havier would follow bellowing warcry's and firing off rounds into the Geth as they went.

Virmire, Murkland Island.

Location: In Washout Tunnel, 200m to Floodgates.

"You two keep suppressing those Toasters, you, on me!" Havier would bark out to the Eldar as they would nod before pulling upwards and firing their Shard rifles at the Geth that Havier was so keen to deal with, forcing the three of the Robots that where currently taking cover underneath a concrete half wall to back their heads back into cover giving Havier, and his Eldari ally time to flank them from both the left and right.

The first Two Geth would be dealt with quickly as the Plasma and Shard Rifle fire would quickly dispatch the Two Geth troopers, the third however, realising that it only had seconds to live would charge straight towards Havier, hoping to at the very least take the Terran down.

'Not this time your not' Havier thought to himself as he activated his Omni-Bayonet that had been attached to the underside of his rifle by Tali in order to prevent another incident like that which occurred on Feros from happening again.

The Bayonet seemed to do the trick as the Geth construct would freeze as his abdomen made contact with the super heated construct of the Omni-Bayonet, soon afterwards Havier would kick the Geth off his rifle before aiming it at the Geth and executing it with a round to the head.

"We should be nearing the Gate soon, thank the Divines that they only have one way to bring in reinforcements." Havier would hear one of the Eldari commandos say out as he nodded his head in agreement. For some reason whoever designed this place had made it so their where only two ways to get into the tunnel, the tunnel exit and entrance, this combined with the fact that the Geth didn't even try to find shelter when the floodgates opened meant that they had made fast progress to the floodgates, of course now all they had to do was survive the endless waves of Geth reinforcements for two minutes but hey, at the very least they weren't going to be fighting anything heavier than a prime so you have to count your blessings at some point.

"Havier, you guys hurrying up or what?" Havier would here Eorveth shout from behind a concrete barrier near the floodgates, Havier would sigh for a moment before running up to the Eldar and Taking cover besides him before saying.

"I take it there's a reason why we aren't running for our lives at the moment?" Havier would ask as Tali would nod before saying.

"Yes there is, the good news it seems like they've decided to re-route the water flow to some emergency water silo or another, the bad news is that's probably because they're going to send us some lovely family friendly Krogan to fight against." Havier would nod his head in understanding as Eorveth would reply saying.

"That's not exactly the worst thing to fight in the galaxy." Tali would shake her head at Eorveth's statement before replying.

"Yeah but I don't think this is any ordinary Krogan, look." Tali would say before showing her Omnitool to Eorveth which currently displayed what appeared to be some form of live security recording of a Heavily scarred Krogan wearing pitch black armour along with four other Krogan who were wearing White and Orange armour and appeared to be young in appearance, most likely clones.

"Jorak..." Eorveth would say to himself as Havier would reply saying.

"Jorak, that cock suckers still alive, thought we buried him under eight tones of Iridium ore?" Tali would look perplexed at Havier before saying.

"Sorry, but who's Jorak?" Tali would ask as Havier would respond saying.

"He's a Krogan Degenerate..." But before Havier could continue to explain the first floodgate would begin to screech open with several Krogan, Jorak, along with a few Geth would enter the tunnel.

Before anyone could do anything however Jorak would shout out in his large and booming voice.

"Eorveth Lithilin show yourself!" The Krogan would demand with Eorveth thinking for a moment before mumbling under his breath and stepping out of cover and into the open.

A few moments later the Cloned Krogan and Geth would raise their weapons at Eorveth but before any of them could do anything the Fierce Krogan warlord would shout out saying.

"If any of you shoot then I will gut you limp from limp, this Pyjack is mine!" The Krogan would say before turning to face Eorveth again and say.

"Eorveth Lithilin, I challenge you under the eyes of your gods and of mine to a personal duel to the death with only melee weapons, if you deny this challenge then let it be known that Eorveth is a coward and that his family name is damned by his gods and my gods." The Krogan would bellow out as Havier moved to drag Eorveth back into cover and to kill the foes before them.

But before Havier could do this Eorveth would reply out saying.

"I accept your challenge, beast, may you rot with your foul god soon enough." Eorveth would say as Havier would whisper to the elf saying.

"Eorveth what the fuck are you doing, get your ass back into cover so we can light these bastards up." Eorveth would shake his head before responding.

"I thank you for your concern friend, but I must accept this challenge, not only to preserve my families name but to also save my friends, if this beast was to die it will throw his followers into a depression that they will never recover from." Eorveth would say as he unshed his Mallerite sword before stepping a few steps forward in order to prevent his friend from doing anything stupid.

"Good, I'll enjoy gutting you." Jorak would say with a wicked grin as he drew a long chain sword from beneath his armour, giving it a few revs to demonstrate the dangerous teeth that where situated along the blade of the weapon.

Eorveth would similarly prepare his weapon, allowing for his hand to trail across the weapon and depositing generous amount of blood onto the blade, satisfying the emanation of Kurith that resided within the blade, causing the weapons runes to glow before the blade itself would produce a many hued fire. Soon afterwards Eorveth would take up a defensive posture awaiting for the Krogan's first attack.

That attack would come quickly afterwards as the Krogan would bellow out a roar before activating his chain sword and charging towards the Eldar.

The Krogan would swing his chain-sword at the Eldar's chest only to meet thin air as Eorveth gracefully dodge around the strike before using the Krogan's own momentum to manoeuvre his lithe body around the beast to deliver a devastating strike to the Krogan's back.

The Krogan would react quickly however turning around just in time to intercept the Eldari's sword with his own.

Realising that the strength of the Brute was far greater than his own Eorveth would allow for Jorak's blade to descend to the floor, taking the Krogan by surprise as the Eldar took advantage of the Krogan's now exposed forearm.

The Krogan would grimace as Eorveth's blade cut through the Krogan's forearm, while luckily for the Korgan the Majority of the blow would be stopped by his armour the damage was still extensive, forcing the Krogan to use his other arm to support the weapon that he was wielding.

Jumping away in order to avoid a retaliatory blow Eorveth would say as he repositioned himself to await the Krogans charge.

"You really should of died in that mineshaft, that is a mistake that I intend to rectify today, beast." Eorveth would say as Jorak would snarl before responding.

"You would say that wouldn't you." The Krogan would say before charging towards the Eldari again.

This time instead of waiting for the Krogan to reach him Eorveth would instead do something unexpected. Running straight towards the Krogan Eorveth would wait for the last possible moment to slide underneath the Krogan before taking ahold of his tail and using the momentum to get onto the back of the Krogan.

Before Jorak could react Eorveth would plunge his blade deep into the neck of the Krogan.

Jorak would quickly seize up, stopping for a moment before crashing to the floor, dead.

The Several of the clone Krogan would let out distraught roars at the death of their warlord, quickly aiming their weapons at the Eldari.

Before Eorveth could react however the roar of Plasma and Shard gun fire would drag him out of his thoughts as he saw several of the Krogan drop before he could do anything, their Geth allies having turned on them most likely due to being hacked by Tali with said Geth quickly destroyed each other in a wave of suicidal attacks upon themselves.

"Alright come on, no more sword fighting, lets go." Havier would say before he more or less dragged Eorveth with him as the group made their way through the floodgates and onto the staircase that would take them out of the sewers and into the heart of the compound itself.

Virmire, Murkland Island.

Location: Virmire Facility, Plaza.

Exiting onto the Plaza above the group would quickly scatter and take cover behind anything that looked like it could withstand the constant fire from the Geth ahead of them.

"Does anyone for the love of god have any grenades to smoke em out?" Havier would shout out asking.

A few moments later Tali would reply handing Havier a strange looking grenade before saying.

"I got one but I don't know what It does, Keelah I picked it up when Eorveth dropped it during that duel with the Krogan." Havier would nod in acknowledgement before shouting towards Eorveth, who had positioned himself a several meters away from Havier before saying.

"Eorveth, got any idea on what this thing does?" Havier would say before holding up the strange looking grenade so Eorveth could get a better look at the thing.

The Eldar would shrug before saying.

"No idea, its a prototype that they gave to me to 'Test Out', all they said was that If I was to use it I should throw it as far away from me as humanly possible." Havier would nod before peeking out of cover to see if he actually needed to use it.

Looking around Havier would see that their were at the very least 10 Geth Constructs within the plaza all of them positioned In extremely defensive positions making it more or less impossible to try and move up and outflank the Geth without being outflanked in kind Havier would sigh slightly before Activating and throwing the grenade as hard and as far as he could.

The Grenade would land with a thud behind a concrete barrier that housed three Geth behind it, a few moments later the Grenade would explode forming a brilliant purple vortex that drew in everything within a 15 metre radius into it.

The sight itself wasn't exactly what Havier had hoped for initially, but a few seconds later the Vortex would begin to destabilize as Haviers stomach would almost release its contents as he realised what it was.

"EVERYONE GET DOWN, WARP BOMB!" Havier would say as he dragged Tali down and into a fetal position behind the concrete barrier as the rest of the squad, knowing from experience, would perform the same maneuver as Havier tucking as much as their bodies behind their cover positions as humanly as possible.

A few moments later the Warp bomb would release its pent up energies, smashing into the Geth and anything around it with the force of 50 freight trains moving at 100 miles per hour, as the shock wave reached the positions that the group where hidden behind it would hit them with a substantial force, though luckily the only damage done would be to their cover that they where hiding behind as most of the energy from the blast had been used up reaching them.

"Keelah what was that?" Tali would ask as both her and Havier slowly got up from the now heavily cracked and more or less ruined concrete barrier they where hiding behind.

"Dar'ne'yen, you could of told us you had packed a warp bomb for this trip Tel'vin?" One of the Eldari would say to Eorveth as the Eldari would shrug before saying.

"Alright, everyone get your shit in gear we still have a job to do." Eorveth would say as he looked towards the large AA gun that was only a short distance across the plaza before saying.

"We need to get that gun down so everyone, move!" Eorveth would shout out as his squad nodded before jogging with their commander to the AA gun with Tali quickly moving to a console as Eorveth would say to the Quarian.

"How long is it going to take you to get those guns down?" Eorveth would ask as the Quarian would respond as she typed into her omnitool.

"About... Now." Tali would say before she inputted a command into her omnitool, a few moments later the AA gun would power down as the barrel of the gun itself would lower itself towards the ground.

A few moments later Haviers commbead would beep in need of attention, Havier would groan slightly as he placed place two of his finger up to it before saying.

"Turian Shitting house, how may I talk your order?" Havier would say sarcasticly as Shepard would respond unamused, saying.

"Havier I don't have enough time for your shit at the moment, any case where the fuck have you guys been for the past 15 minutes." Shepard would ask as Havier would respond saying.

"We where underground 15 minutes if your asking why we didn't respond to you sooner, you know, radio frequencies don't work all that well underground and all that shit." Shepard would scoff slightly before replying saying.

"Alright I got the memo, any case judging by the lack of gunfire in the background I assume you guys have taken out your AA gun?" Shepard would ask as Tali, having hacked her way into the comms frequency so Eorveth and the other Eldar could listen in would say.

"Yep." Havier would groan slightly before he turned to face Tali who only smiled at him from beneath the visor, shaking his head due to the antics of his girlfriend Havier would here Shepard say.

"Tali good to hear you, In any case I've got good, bad more bad, and bad-der news." Havier would nod to himself as he would reply saying.

"Alright lets hear it, no point waiting around." Havier would say as Shepard would reply saying.

"Alright the good news is that we know where the conduit is located." Havier would nod his head grinning before replying.

"That's good, but theirs like three pieces of bad news though isn't their?" Havier would ask as Shepard would respond saying.

"Yes, the first piece of bad news is that Saren's is basically a puppet to that ship of his, not entirely sure if that's old news to you since your not exactly clued in on Okhrana intelligence reports but still you should know, the second piece of bad news is that Saren also knows where the conduit is and third piece is that Kaiden and the front assault team are currently pinned down at their AA gun, thankfully they manage to disable it so Ashley and the bomb crew can move to begin planting the thing, but still theirs a shit-tone of Geth around Kaiden and the frogs so yeah, basically I need you guys to back us up when we put our toes into the fire." Havier would nod his head in agreement as Eorveth would respond over Tali's omnitool saying.

"We will get their as soon as we can, we can probably meet up at this point here before moving on to drag your lieutenant ass out of the fire, I have to ask but is Kirrahe still alive?" Eorveth would ask as Shepards tone would turn somber before saying.

"No, according to Kaiden he was killed by a Geth drone during the assault on the main entrance to the facility, their wasn't much they could do for him, I'm sorry." Eorveth expression would change slightly before saying.

"He will be missed, but the sacrifice of one solider is of no great loss, we must press on." Eorveth would say before he turned to his squad saying.

"Alright, we've got some frogs to save so everyone move it!" Eorveth would bark out as all of them began to run to where they needed to go.

Virmire, Murkland Island.

Location: Virmire Facility, Crossroads Near loading Port.

"Shepard, they may not have made it." Garrus would say as Shepard would shake her head before responding.

"They will make it Garrus just give them a few moments, they where farther away from here than we were if you were to..." Before Shepard could continue the door to her left would open as her entire squad would swing around weapons raised expecting a squad of Geth to come pouring through... only to see Eorveth, Havier, Tali, and a group of Eldari commandos with their weapons raised likewise.

"Ah commander, we don't really have enough time for pleasantries as we really need to pull your Lt's ass out of the fire." Eorveth would say as Shepard would nod her head in agreement, but before the group could make their way towards the loading port Shepards commbead would beep to life as a Marine on the other end would say.

"Ma'am, I don't think we will be able to hold out any long..." Before the Marine could continue Shepard would hear someone punch the man over the head with several swears from the gunnery chief resounding clearly over the commbead.

Shepard realising that she potentially would have a mutiny on her hands if she didn't contact Ashley would immediately contact Ashley over her commbead shouting out.

"Gunnery chief report of situation immediately and don't feed me any bullshit Williams!" Shepard would bark out over the comms channel as She would hear Ashley respond saying.

"We getting overrun but don't worry about me, just make sure the LT gets out of here alive skipper." Shepard would shake her head but before she could respond Kaiden, who had most likely been listening all of this time would respond saying.

"No Shepard you need to make sure that bomb goes off no matter the cost, and the gunnery chief needs to survive to see another day." Kaiden would say as Ashley would respond to both Shepard and Kaiden saying.

"What the fuck are you talking about LT, the bombs fine just get your ass out of here." Shepard would place her arms over the railings, her mind travelling at a million miles per hour to determine who would be saved, and who would be sacrificed upon the alter of victory.

"Sorry Kaiden but the bomb needs to go off at any cost, but..., I'm sorry." Shepard would say as Kaiden would respond saying.

"Don't be commander, we all knew what we where signing up for when we took the oath of allegiance in front of the sign of the cross, just, please make sure Chief Williams survives." Shepard would nod to herself as the commsbead went dead silent, a few moments later Shepard would walk towards the door that she had came through before saying.

"Come on people we have a job to do so move it!" Shepard would bark out as her and her squad would begin to rush towards their intended destination.

Virmire, Murkland Island.

Location: Virmire Facility, Near Bomb site.

The Group would enter through the doors guns blazing, immediately seeing several Geth attempting to assault several hastily positioned crates around where the bomb was located.

Firing three rounds into and Geth, Shepard would move up to a large Industrial crate as her squad torn into the flanks of the Geth quickly dispatching them before they moved up to where the hastily made fortifications where.

Looking around it was evident to Shepard that they're had been a hell of a fight here, most of the Marines where dead or heavily injured with only one appearing to be combat effective at all. Chief Williams herself, while still alive was obviously clutching a wound on her abdomen as Shepard approached her.

"You... Alright Skipper?" Ashley would ask huskily as Shepard would approach her before saying.

"It's alright, rest now." Shepard would say as she bent down to apply medi-gel to Ashley's wounds, but before she could the Gunnery Chief would hold her arm to stop her before saying.

"What... about... Kaiden?" Ashley would ask as Shepard would look to the ground in shame.

Tears would soon pool at the edges of Ashley's eyes as the Gunnery Chiefs last words before she went unconscious being.

"No..." She would say as Shepard began the process of applying Medi-gel to her wounds, also holding back tears.

"Shep, just to let you know the Normandy's like five minutes out and that bombs got 20 minutes till it goes so we should get the wounded ready to move as soon as possible." Havier would say as Shepard would nod her head in agreement before responding.

"Agreed, alright everyone..." Before Shepard could continue a blast would nearly pass straight through Shepard if it hadn't been for Garrus tackling her to the floor, soon afterwards the squad would scatter into cover as Sarens Hovercraft would descend to the floor with the Turian himself stepping off it before saying.

"I'm impressed Shepard, my Geth thought that the Salarians and their Eldari allies where the real threat while you where actively sabotaging the bases defences." Saren would say as Shepard would reply saying.

"Thanks for the compliment" Shepard would say sarcastically before continuing. "But why did you give up your cushy spectre position and betray the council in the first place?" Shepard would ask as Saren would reply saying.

"Now that's an interesting question, its a bit like asking why you would jump off a sinking ship if it treated you like royalty, surely you should know the reason at this point commander?" Saren would ask as Shepard would shake her head before replying.

"I have a hard time that you are actually that stupid to confirm the 'why' but please, enlighten us all." Shepard would ask as Saren would respond saying.

"Fighting the Reapers is pointless, every civilization that has fought them in the past has been destroyed one way or another, the only way to win is to adapt, it to survive." Saren would say as Shepard would respond saying.

"And what makes you think their not using you, that their not going to dump you the moment they've won?" Shepard would ask as Saren would reply saying.

"Because... because they need us Shepard, they need organics to survive, why do you think they spared our species the last cycle?" Saren would respond as surprisingly enough Cyreen would speak up saying.

"Discussed by Magos council, most likely for purpose of facilitate food production or reproductive cycle, theoretical, but most likely reason, same objective could be accomplished by mass Algae or bacterial cultivation though." Cyreen would say as Saren would snarl before saying.

"Cyreen, you should know better than anyone that what I say is true, that flesh and steel need to be intertwined, I am still perplexed that you refused my offer back on Feros but even the brightest are blinded my Faith." Cyreen would scowl, or at the very least perform the equivalent of one before responding.

"You are a Heretek, our steel is pure and blessed by the ommnikompayah, yours is corrupted by the foul breath of the Great Enemy, its machinations run deep into your flesh, you are nothing but a puppet to your masters, and when your strings are cut you will be NOTHING!" Cyreen would say as Saren would let out a loud growl before saying.

"This conversation is over Shepard, prepare for your end." Saren would say before he stepped back onto his Hoverboard and began firing at the squad.

In return Shepard and her squad would return their fire but it seemed to be off little effect against the shields of Saren's hover board, each time a round hit the thing it would simply dissipate into the blue screen of the shield itself.

"Does anyone have any Anti-Tank weapons on them since I don't think we're getting through his shields anytime soon?" Garrus would ask as Havier would respond saying.

"Nope just keep shooting the fucker, his shields will eventually drop and I have more than enough power packs to outlast his shields." Havier would say as Saren flew over his position before attempting to fire off several warps at him, the Terran however was faster than he was and was easily able to find a crate to hide behind as the warps hit said crate harmlessly.

This dance of shooting and running would continue on for some time as Saren attempted to corner a member of the squad only for his plan to be thwarted by the actions of the rest of the squad or by said individual, eventually however Saren would tire of this game and would eventually land near to where Havier was located.

The Terran wouldn't have enough time to respond as Saren would grab the Terran by his neck before lifting him up to his feet, Havier could barely here the scream of Terror emanating from Tali as the Turian would move closer to his face before saying.

"This is your end Terran, prepare to meet your maker." Saren would say as Havier would produce a wicked, bloody, grin before saying.

"Did your... mother... ever teach you... to not... get into... someone's... personal space... cuttlebone?" Havier would wheeze as Saren would look perplexed at the Terran as he felt something sharp, large, and metallic pierce the armpit of the arm that currently Held Havier.

The Turian would let out a loud yelp before dropping Havier to the floor, looking back at his wound Saren realised that the Terran had stabbed him with a large knife, his displeasure would suddenly turn to a slight level of fear however as his arm began to uncontrollably spasm.

"Ectrin Toxin..." Havier would wheeze out a little easier before continuing "...stuff kills fast, 30 minutes for Turians... even with implants... gotta be like... three hours... easy to treat with specialized equipment but... there is none here except on your ship?" Saren, realising that the Terran was correct would growl before saying.

"This is not over Shepard!" Saren would growl out as he ran back to his Hover board before taking off and speeding away in the direction that presumably his, or well the Reaper ship was.

Havier would collapse to the ground, still wheezing and attempting to get his breathe back as Tali would rush out towards her lover, placing his head on her chest before saying.

"Keelah, you nearly..." Tali would say as Havier would hush her before saying.

"I didn't." Havier would say.

"But you Nearly..." Tali would respond and Havier would Re-affirm saying.

"I didn't." Tali would think silently before nodding and holding Haviers head in her arms as Shepard would smile at the sight before placing two fingers on her commbead and saying.

"Joker how long until you get here?" The commander would ask as she saw the Normandy fly overhead before parking itself around the same area that they where before Joker would respond saying.

"Right now Captain, any case you guys really should get going there's a big, ugly, dreadnought closing in fast and I would like to be gone before it arrives." Joker would say as Shepard nodded her head in agreement before turning to face her team and saying.

"Alright everyone, get on the ship fast I don't want to be here when whatever Jokers freaking out about arrives!" Shepard would Bark out as her team would reply by running, limping, or in the case of Ashley, being carried into the cargo hold of the Normandy, the dead being left behind due to the scarcity of time left to them.

As soon as everyone had gotten back onboard the Normandy Joker would drive the ship as fast as he humanly possible up into atmosphere, soon after the Normandy had gotten into orbit the bomb on the planet would explode with a ferocity that made it viewable from orbit, of course the element zero within the drive core of the bomb would likely contaminate the entire planet and make the seppies angry but that was something that could be sorted out another time.

Well that was the end of this Chapter, umm in anycase imma like not say all that much here as no one actually reads these so yeah.
