That gave Julianna something to think about well she road on Koraidon towards the base of Team Stars Fire Crew.
She wouldn't mind if Florian ended up as someone flamboyant like that she didn't know anything about Florian's sexuality but she didn't care about things like. If anything that ability to get so into something was quite admirable.
But she did get what they meant. It was the way he seemed like he was out of it when he performed like was chasing a high.
When she thought back to the first time she meet him on the bus going to Narnaja she got a sinking suspicion that Florian had never had much confidence.
If Julianna had to take a guess Florian was feeling like he wanted to break free from his past self hence the out of nowhere change in character.
She didn't know any of Florian's other friends aside from posts on their socials and she didn't want to make any assumptions but they didn't seem like Florian's type.
Anyways it wasn't of importance right now she needed to go over her plan to stop the Team Star Boss.
1-Use Koraidon's new high jump ability to launch me into the base.
2-Saftly land on Clodsire.
3-Quickly take out any grunts with Clodsire and Toedscool before they can pose a problem.
4-Use all my team members against Mela and her weird sentient car thing.
5-Victory?
"Ok, Don when I say go you leap over the wall entiendo?"
"Graarhh!" Don stuck his tongue out.
"Okay here we go uno, dos, tres!" Don sprung over the wall throwing Julianna off. Quickly throwing Clodsire out to cushion her fall then sending out Toedscool. Before the grunts could comprehend what was happening Toedscool and Clodsire mowed through the Houndour Charcadet and Growlithe with Mud Shots, Poison Jabs, and Supersonics.
"What the fuck is going on!" presumably Mela roared.
"It's Julianna she's here!" one grunt yelled as their Rolycoly was defeated by Toedscools Mega Drain.
"Oh for fucks sake do I got to do everything myself!" Julianna threw out Quaxwell and Charcadet ready for the worst.
The sound of clanging blades as Ceruledge charged forward swinging with Bitter Blade at Toedscool.
Charcadet jumped in the way of the attack the blow activating Flash Fire fully absorbing the attack.
Only for Charcadet to try and attack Ceruledge with Fire Spin activating its Flash Fire, Ceruledge responded by swinging him off with Shadow Claw.
It wasn't deliberate Rebelde was being a reckless/brave idiot.
Charcadets efforts did give Toedscool the chance to repel Ceruledge with Mud Shot.
It was then that Armarouge revealed itself attacking with Psyshock blasting Quaxwell and Clodsire with blasts of purple energy. Toedscool and Charcadet were able to stun it with Mud Shot and Clear Smog.
The tell-tale sound of the Schedar Starmobile revving up behind Julianna gave Mela's location away.
Julianna leaped out of the way of the oncoming car which spun around to greet Julianna.
"So, you're that Julianna girl that everyone's been talking about" Mela sneered.
"Yes, that would be me" Julianna replayed trying not to sound as intimidated as she was facing Mela.
Ceruledge swiped at Quaxwell with X-Scissor Quaxwell danced under the green blades striking the Fire Blades Pokémon with Aqua Cutter.
"Oh, I see you really do want to fight!" Mela barked "Then in that case Armarouge use Armor Cannon!" Armarouge fired a blast of burning armor at Quaxwell doing massive damage despite the resistance.
"Yes that's what I'm doing otherwise I wouldn't have dragged myself I'll the way out here" Julianna's voice definitely sounded more confident than she felt seeing that damage from Armor Cannon.
"Well if ya want to fuck around then your gonna find out!" The Starmobile screeched forward.
"Blazing Torque!" The Starmobile fired a blast of flames in all directions.
Clodsire had the bright idea to throw Charcadet at the Starmobile so he could absorb most of the flames but Julianna could still feel the searing heat rush past her body feeling the sting as it slightly singed her body hair.
"Mud Shot both of you!" Clodsire and Toedscool fired globes of mud mostly just to keep Mela's team away.
"Shadow Claw and Psyshock!"
"Aqua Jet and Clear Smog!"
Quaxwell threw off Armarouge with Aqua Jet only giving Clodsire light damage from Psyshock well Toedscool took the Shadow Claw for Charcadet to stun it with Clear Smog.
The Starmobile revved up again launching an Overheat burning everybody Julianna had to dive on her stomach to avoid the flames.
Already here team was this beat up and Julianna wasn't even close to winning.
She needed a plan to take her team out quickly.
"Rebelde! Ayuda! I have a plan to win but it's going to involve you two fainting got it"
"Char!"
"Scooool!" they both agreed maybe too eagerly.
"Use Fire Spin and Mud Shot on the Starmobile"
After the two of them connected with their attacks, the Starmobile responded with a Swift knocking them both out.
"Bitter Blade and Dragon Pulse!" now was the moment that Julianna was planning for.
"Clodsire Poison Tail on the Starmobile, Quaxwell use Aqua Jet towards me.
Clodsire struck the Starmobiles wheel with Poison Tail well Ceruledge struck her in return with Bitter Blade further destabilizing the Starmobile.
With Quaxwell going for Aqua Jet Armarouges Dragon Pulse fired into the Starmobile.
"Now Quaxwell use Aqau Cutter!" Quaxwell jumped behind Armarouge and struck it with Aqua Cutter, launching her into Ceruledge, Clodsire, and the Starmobile.
The Starmobile let out a loud groan as it toppled to its side crushing the Pokémon underneath it.
"Hey, you ok there?" Julianna offered.
"Staying here to rub in your victory are you huh?" Mela barked.
"No, actually I'm trying to defeat Team Star not kill you I'm just making sure you're okay"
"Well, you certainly did a good job at taking out the Team how did you even think of that?"
"I guess I've just got a talent for battle strategies"
"Yes you could definitely say that I thought you were dead back there"
To Julianna's surprise, Mela got up to shake her hand.
"Oh ya by the way some weird guy named Clive coming by or something I don't know he's also part of this whole operation so just don't slice his head off with Ceruledge" Julianna stammered before walking off.
"Alright everybody I'd like you to meet our new friend Slither Wing" Ash announced excitedly.
Everyone immediately got uncomfortable when Ash threw out the giant moth. Primeape and Finizen immediately got ready to fight Wattrel hid behind Primeape and all of Capsakids bravado evaporated.
"Ash, is it really a good idea?" Goh asked concerned hiding behind Cinderace like Slither Wing would lunge at him.
"Don't worry Goh she's part of the team now it's not like she'll attack me" Ash said confidently ignoring the memories of Charizards disobedient stag he was a younger trainer then there was no way that could happen now.
Although Charizard was a known Pokémon species, not some weird ancient giant moth that someone might have just imagined.
He still wasn't over that how did someone just will a Pokémon into existence?
"Ash I'm here!" Iris announced entering the laboratory.
"So you said and yup that's Slither Wing alright" Iris exclaimed when the moth stood on its back legs.
"I think I have someone that you probably know" Iris tossed Roaring Moon out of her Pokeball.
The two Paradox Pokémon froze for a moment before greeting each other with nuzzles and as close to affectionate-sounding sounds as a giant moth and dragon could make.
"See guys they might look scary but there Pokémon just like the rest of us"
Ash's team didn't buy his speech still eyeing the two with suspicion. Even Chloes Gimmighoul who never showed any expression hid inside its treasure chest.
"So Iris what were you doing before you came here?"
"I was talking with Ridly apparently Landorus was sighted around the desert they think it's looking for something.
"Do you think it has something to do with Team Galactic?" Goh asked.
"Well Enamrous was probably brought here by Team Galactic but whatever Landorus is looking for probably doesn't"
"Actually that reminds me," Iris remarked "The collars used to control the Legendary Birds was the same one used to control Roaring Moon there must be a connection"
"I thought of that too actually!" Ash announced bringing out pictures of the Team Galactic Admins and grunts as well as a thew of the Paradox Pokémon.
"Will see if they recognize-" Roaring Moon swiped the pictures of the grunts from Ash's hand and began violently shredding them with her teeth.
Slither Wing also took multiple of the Paradox Pokémon straight up eating the pieces of paper.
"Well, there's your answer!" Goh yelled as Slither Wing eat more of the paper.
It did answer the question, Team Galactic and the Paradox Pokémon were connected in some way.
Later that day sitting in her dorm Julianna thought through some things in her head.
"You should be fine in your next gym battle if you were able to handle Mela like that"
"Clodsire is automatically in charge if I'm not around"
"Keep an eye on Toedscool Charcadets reckless attitude seems to be rubbing her the wrong way"
"Speaking of Charcadet I do need to think about evolving him I should see which forum he wants to take"
Julianna was browsing through some of her friend's photos even Penny posted a photo, something that rarely happened when she got a text from an unknown number.
It's me, Mela.
Julianna definitely wasn't expecting that.

I saw the way your Charcadet was looking at my Ceruledge and Armarouge with you beating me I felt like a owed you this at least if you look in the student mail you'll see it text me when you're done.
Julianna was immediately suspicious of this but went to check, bringing her team and Koraidon just in case something sinister was waiting for her.
Looking through the student mailbox there was in fact a suspiciously heavy package in Julianna's name.
After getting Don to carry the package back to her dorm she opened it up to see two chest pieces.
Auspicious Armor and Malicious Armor.
Well, she was thinking about evolving Rebelde but she didn't expect the opportunity to show up in her lap.
It was ultimately Rebelde's choice on which forum he wanted to take but for it to be happening right now was definitely not on her agenda for today.
So after another trip out to the courtyard with Don taking the chest pieces she brought out Charcadet.
"Alright Charcadet so a friend other me these I'm sure you know what they're for"
Charcadet fumbled around with the two pieces of armor as if to confirm which one was which.
Without hesitation, Charcadet grabbed the Auspicious Armor and raised it with all his strength, and placed it over his chest which looked rather comical considering the chest piece was so big that it covered his whole body.
But that didn't last long.
Rebelde's body began to glow blue his body growing to fit into the armor, his arms and legs growing longer, and the flame on his head growing bigger.
After a burst of light, Rebelde stood in front of her as an Armarouge.
Felicidades Rebelde! look at you look at how big you are!" with his new form Rebelde looked less like a rebellious child and more like a noble fire warrior.
"Rougeeeggg!" Rebelde started showing off his more powerful Lave Plume, Clear Smog, and his new move Psyshock although he clearly needed more practice with it since he nearly fell over when unleashing the psychic blasts.
Julianna sat in the field well Rebelde showed off to the rest of the team.
She sent a picture of Armarouge to Mela and to her mom since she was the one who owned him originally.
Oh, dios mio! I'm so proud of him he looks so big and Strong! Her mom gushed.
I see he has good taste. Mela replied
I assume that means Armarouge is your favorite.
Yes, my first Charcadet chose Armarouge.
Can I ask why you gave me the armor for its evolution?
You beat me fair and square I felt like it was only fair.
But I did beat you I feel like this was a bit much.
If I'm being honest I felt like you were deserving it's been a long time since I've ever had faith in someone from the academy but you have some serious guts to show up and not only fight but win.

Julianna quickly looked up to make sure none of her Pokémon had lit anything on fire.
"I wonder what they're talking about?" Julianna wondered briefly.
Armarouge "Looked this bro!" flexing
Quaxwell "You look absolutely fabulous!"
Toedscool "Amazing!" holds tentacle to eyes in amazement
Koraidon "He grew by a measure of like 5 but his ego grew by a matter of 15"

Charcadet evolution yipee might have been practicable considering his move set is all special moves but Armarouge was the one I planned on from the start and this felt like the most logical way to do it.
