Pokémon: Sinnoh no Isekai
Chapter thirty-two: Galactic Climax, part two
The heroes were suddenly teleported right into their greatest battle yet as they found themselves surrounded by Team Galactic; many grunts, the commanders Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars, and last but not least Cyrus, who turned out to be the boss of Team Galactic. The two reborn trainers had known ahead of time, thanks to their knowledge from their previous lives, but they had to act as if this all was new to them.
That didn't change anything for them as they helped to fight off Team Galactic in a bid to stop their plans. "Zarbon, use Dynamic Punch on Purugly!" Kenny called out.
"Germany, use Dragon Claw on Skuntank!" Dawn ordered.
The two named Pokémon, Machamp and Garchomp, rushed in and struck their respective targets so hard that the Purugly and Skuntank were both knocked out. Mars and Jupiter were both annoyed that the two foolish meddling children before them were able to deal with them so easily. Seeing that everyone was distracted, Saturn called out, "Toxicroak, hit them with Sludge Bomb!"
Acting as ordered, Toxicroak fired its attack, taking Pikachu, Croagunk, and Juan by surprise. "Oh you did not just pull a sneak attack on someone in my cringe posse!" Kenny snapped at Saturn.
"You meddling children really ought to behave yourselves," Saturn sneered confidently, "Especially considering how you're all surrounded." Looking around, the heroes did indeed see that they were all surrounded by Team Galactic. Even with Zarbon and Germany out and still more than ready to throw down, Dawn and Kenny knew that it'd be a poor idea to try to force things here.
Cyrus, who looked on, had an indifferent expression on his face. "...It's strange, given that these children here were very clearly teleported here by the power of the lake guardians." Cyrus turned around and left with the enthralled lake guardians following him. "Take the children prisoner," Cyrus ordered, "And bring them with us. They might prove useful."
Team Galactic proceeded to close in on the heroes. Knowing it'd be pointless to try fighting everyone off, Dawn recalled Germany, and Kenny recalled both Juan and Zarbon. Team Galactic then proceeded to take the heroes hostage and take them along with them onto their helicopter, before they all took off.
Later, the heroes sat bound in a holding area on one of the bigger Team Galactic ships as they felt they had landed somewhere. "Where do you think Team Galactic is taking us?" Ash said, equal parts bitter and worried.
"If I were a betting girl," Dawn began, "I'd say they're going to take us to Spear Pillar." The boys looked surprised by Dawn's guess. "That's their goal, is it not?" Dawn asked, "And their boss did show a little interest in us since the lake guardians teleported us right into Team Galactic's main base of operat-"
Dawn was cut off when the door into the holding area was opened, and Jupiter threw Team Rocket and Looker into the holding area before quickly closing the door and locking it again. "You guys are here too?" Ash said in surprise.
"We incapacitated some grunts and took their places," Looker said, "Using their own uniforms as disguises. But said disguises were seen right through by the higher ups of Team Galactic. They took us down, took us prisoner, then threw us into here."
"We'll get back at Team Galactic if it's the last thing we do!" Jessie swore, with James and Meowth both agreeing with her.
"Well this is just great," Brock swore bitterly, "We're stuck here helpless, unable to get out to go in to stop Team Galactic from carrying out whatever-" Brock was interrupted when the door leading into the holding area was opened, and everyone saw it as Cynthia was the one who had come to their rescue.
The champion of Sinnoh gave the heroes a knowing smirk. "Need a hand, everyone?"
...
A short while later, the heroes, Team Rocket, Cynthia, and Looker had Jupiter and three Galactic grunts tied up and sitting on the floor in the holding area. "Talk, now," Cynthia demanded as she had her Garchomp glare down menacingly at Jupiter and the grunts.
Jupiter, despite her situation, merely smirked. "...It's too late now, you foolish, meddling would-be heroes. Even if some of you leave right this instant to go confront the boss and the others at Spear Pillar, by the time that you all catch up, the boss will have succeeded in his goal."
Cynthia scowled bitterly. "...Let me guess. Summoning Dialga and Palkia."
Jupiter laughed in sneering dark amusement. "Ooh, do smarts like that come with being the champion of Sinnoh?"
"We need to try to stop Team Galactic!" Looker said to the others. Looking around at the group, Looker said, "I'd really hate to ask this of you kids since you are kids, but you're also very capable trainers. Can you go with Cynthia to confront Team Galactic at Spear Pillar? The friendly criminals and I will stay here to keep an eye on Jupiter and the Galactic rank and file."
Team Rocket cheered in agreement, before they stopped short and looked at everyone with looks of confusion. "Friendly criminals?" James said, "Isn't that kind of an oxymoron?"
Cynthia nodded in agreement to Looker before turning to look at the heroes. "Kids, looks like the four of you are with me! Let's go!" With Cynthia and her Garchomp leading the way, the heroes all ran out of the helicopter to go confront Cyrus and the rest of Team Galactic at Spear Pillar.
As the heroes ran out, Jupiter laughed defiantly. "You'll be too late!" Jupiter laughed, "Soon enough, everything will fall into place just as the boss predicts!" The maniacal laughter of the commander of Team Galactic continued to chase after the heroes and Cynthia until they reached the stairs that led down to the Spear Pillar. They all rushed down, ready for whatever Team Galactic may have in store for them, for all of Sinnoh, down there.
Down in the Spear Pillar, Team Galactic had placed the lake guardians, the Adamant Orb, and the Lustrous Orb all in formation around the pattern on the ground. After everything had been set up, Cyrus raised his hand that wore the special glove up high. Light began to emanate from the glove as he willed power to come forth. The Red Chain fragments on the lake guardians began to glow as energy flowed to the Adamant and Lustrous Orbs.
"...Uxie, Mespirit, Azelf, I command you," Cyrus said, "Use your powers here to open the way for Dialga and Palkia to come forth into this world, so that a new world may be created!"
The ruins began to glow with energy and power as two dimensional rifts appeared and began to take shape. "Fire the Red Chain energy cannon at the rifts!" Charon ordered, prompting two grunts manning the cannon to fire at the rifts. Beams of Red Chain energy shot out from the cannon and hit the rifts, causing them to begin taking shape.
To the amazed wonder of the rest of Team Galactic, the shape taking soon showed that Dialga and Palkia began to emerge into the world. Red rings appeared around the bodies of the forms of Dialga and Palkia, with Cyrus in control of them. "It's... it's magnificent," Mars said, taken aback by the appearance of the two legendary Pokémon, "The boss is going to create his new world...!"
Saturn nodded in agreement. "Yes," Saturn remarked, "We're going to-"
"Croagunk!"
Saturn was cut off when a Gliscor flew by with a Croagunk jumping off of its back. Team Galactic turned and saw the heroes and Cynthia come rushing on in. Seeing the Croagunk flying at him, Saturn sent out his Toxicroak. However, the heroes took Team Galactic at Spear Pillar by surprise, and as such Croagunk had the edge as he landed a solid Brick Break on Toxicroak's head, which was able to defeat Toxicroak surprisingly enough.
Croagunk landed and cried out in pride, elated to have finally defeated Saturn's Toxicroak. As Croagunk cheered, the heroes caught up to Team Galactic. Cynthia looked around, saw the lake guardians at Spear Pillar. "...It's amazing to meet such awesome Pokémon at all," Cynthia said, "But under circumstances such as this...!"
"Don't get in our way!" Mars yelled as she sent out her Purugly while a lot of the grunts sent out their flock of Golbats.
Ash and Kenny rushed in with Pikachu and Juan. "Thunderbolt!" Ash and Kenny cried out in unison, prompting their respective electric Pokémon to unleash powerful Thunderbolts, taking out the Golbats and Mars's Purugly.
"We still need to free the lake guardians!" Ash called out, "Pikachu, break the Red Chain fragment on Azelf with Thunderbolt!"
"Juan," Kenny said, "Do what Ash's Pikachu is doing, but I want you to free Uxie!"
Dawn tossed up a pokéball to call out Leni. "Leni, break the Red Chain fragment on Mespirit with Aura Sphere!" Dawn commanded. The two Pikachus and one Lucario acted as ordered, firing their attacks to break the Red Chain fragments adorning the enthralled lake guardians. The fragments were broken, and Ash, Kenny, and Dawn were able to rescue Azelf, Uxie, and Mespirit respectively.
Mars and Saturn were annoyed that the heroes were able to free and recover the lake guardians, even more so as Dialga and Palkia's visages began to fade out. "It's over, Cyrus!" Cynthia yelled, "Whatever you had planned here is at an end! You can't maintain what you're doing now that the lake guardians have been recovered!"
"...Shows what you know." Cyrus then drew forth even more power from the Red Chains that were around the fading forms. Soon, a bursting force of light and power exploded, rushing everyone and making most have to cover their eyes. When everyone who had to cover was able to uncover their eyes, what they saw shocked them.
Dialga and Palkia had fully emerged into the world. Solidly, firmly. Two mighty deities now floated before them, and they looked mad.
Everyone aside from Cyrus backed up worriedly as the two dragons roared. Even Mars and Saturn looked apprehensive as Dialga and Palkia was now there before everyone. Cyrus, on the other hand, was elated to the point of near hysterics to have finally succeeded in summoning Dialga and Palkia into the world. "Yes! YES!" Cyrus yelled, "Dialga and Palkia! Use your powers to create a new world over this one! Let the new consume the old! All shall be as I design!"
As the heroes looked on, Dawn, Kenny, and Ash looked surprised as they heard the lake guardians speak to them telepathically. "Heroes," Mespirit said telepathically, "You must free Dialga and Palkia from the control of that madman!"
Knowing what to do, Ash said, "Everyone! Have your Pokémon attack the Red Chains on Dialga and Palkia! Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!"
"Garchomp, use Draco Meteor!" Cynthia called out.
"Juan, use Thunderbolt!" Kenny called out.
"Leni, use Aura Sphere!" Dawn commanded.
Seeing the attacks flying that way, Cyrus merely scoffed. "Dialga, Roar of Time! Palkia, Spacial Rend!" The two legendary Pokémon, enthralled by the Red Chains, acted as told, using their best moves to easily counter the attacks thrown out by the heroes. Dialga's Roar of Time also went on to fly at the heroes, but the lake guardians, flying in quickly, blocked the attack, all three of them getting hit and collapsing to the ground.
Cyrus scoffed as he turned to walk into the portal that had been made. Dawn, scowling angrily, said, "Leni, use Psychic to grab ahold of the man walking into the portal to pull him back!" Leni took aim at Cyrus as her eyes glowed with psychic power. That same power surrounded Cyrus and pulled him away from the portal that he wanted to go into. He screamed in frustration before he ended up being slammed into the ground a dozen meters from the portal, clearly knocked out.
With Mars and Saturn both panicking over their boss getting knocked out like that, Ash led the heroes in trying to break the Red Chains on Dialga and Palkia again. After repeating the attacks they tried the first time, the heroes succeeded in breaking the Red Chains on Dialga and Palkia, freeing them but causing the portal that they had created to shrink and eventually fade. "We did it!" Ash cheered, "We freed-"
Ash was cut off when both Dialga and Palkia roared in outrage as they proceeded to rampage, causing untold catastrophe if not stopped as black, chaotic energy began flowing out and causing mayhem. "We need to revive the lake guardians!" Cynthia said, "Their powers can calm and pacify Dialga and Palkia so we can send them back!" Looking around, Cynthia said with clear regret in her tone, "I'd hate to ask this of the four of you, but can you at least try to keep Dialga and Palkia busy while I treat the lake guardians with medicines to revive them?"
"You can count on us, chief!" Kenny said as he saluted Cynthia. Turning to face Ash, Brock, and Dawn, Kenny said, "What say you guys?"
"I'll handle Palkia!" Dawn said as she turned to run after Palkia, with Leni following along right behind her, "I got a plan!" As Dawn ran, she also called out Akiza and Nobunaga, who ran and flew after Dawn and Leni.
Brock looked worried as Dawn ran off alone to handle Palkia. "Is she crazy?!" Brock exclaimed, "Dawn's going off alone to confront a rampaging legendary Pokémon!"
"Alone?" Kenny said, "She's got her Pokémon with her, dude! Have faith in her!"
Ash nodded in agreement as he, Kenny, and Brock all turned their attention to Dialga. "Her Pokémon are strong. She's got it." Ash had recalled Staraptor and Gliscor but kept Pikachu out, then he sent out Infernape. Kenny recalled Juan but sent Zarbon out, and Brock kept Croagunk out. The boys were joined by Cynthia's Garchomp who on Cynthia's orders was backing them up. The boys looked up at Dialga as it looked down at them, roaring in challenged anger as it prepared to do battle with those who stood before it.

Over where Dawn and her Pokémon were running up to Palkia, Dawn pointed right at the legendary Pokémon as she said, "Nobunaga, use Extrasensory! Akiza, use Extrasensory as well! Leni, use Dark Pulse!" The three Pokémon fired their attacks at Palkia, with two psychic assaults on Palkia's head and one pulsing blast of dark aura hitting it. The team assault did very little, if any at all, to Palkia, and Dawn was reminded of max raids that were in the Sword and Shield games back in her and Kenny's previous life.
But the use of two Extrasensorys and one Dark Pulse were able to pull off what Dawn was hoping for, that being making Palkia flinch; Dawn figured that if she could spam attacks that each had a chance of inflicting flinch, then she'd be able to keep it up until Palkia was worn out. At the very least, the dark aura bolting on and around Palkia had broken and faded away, and looking over at where the boys were dealing with Dialga, Dawn saw that Dialga had likewise shaken off that same aura that was on it.
Dawn turned back just in time to see Palkia get over its flinching. The reborn trainer ordered the same volley of attacks from her Pokémon, striking Palkia with two Extrasensorys and a Dark Pulse again. Once more, Palkia ended up flinching due to the assault. Dawn was banking on Cynthia getting the lake guardians revived, because she had no idea how long she could keep this up with keeping Palkia distracted. This was real life for Dawn and Kenny now, not like the video games from their previous lives where-
...Dawn stopped short, realizing something. If things looked too dicy, she had an option that would hopefully serve as an effective out to at least part of the problem. If push came to shove, she'd do it, if only to buy some more time for the others to deal with Dialga.
...
Over at where the boys and Cynthia's Garchomp were tackling Dialga while Cynthia worked on healing and reviving the lake guardians, Ash called out, "Pikachu, use Thunderbolt! Infernape, use Mach Punch!"
"Zarbon, use Cross Chop!" Kenny commanded.
"Croagunk, use Brick Break!" Brock called out.
Infernape rushed in, punching Dialga on the right front leg before leaping back when Cynthia's Garchomp came in and struck Dialga with Brick Break. Then Pikachu unleashed a Thunderbolt on Dialga, then Zarbon and Croagunk rushed in and struck Dialga with their fighting attacks. Dialga did indeed feel some of that, but it was honestly more angry than pained. Dialga opened its mouth as it proceeded to take aim with Roar of Time.
To the worry of the boys, Dialga actually chose to take aim at Cynthia. Garchomp saw this and rushed in, standing protectively in front of her trainer, shielding Cynthia from Dialga's Roar of Time but taking the massive hit in return, getting thrown into a pillar before falling down to the ground, clearly out of it.
"Garchomp!" Cynthia cried out, seeing her trusted Pokémon partner one shot like that by the legendary Pokémon Dialga.
"Cynthia, you need to focus on reviving and healing the lake guardians!" Brock called out, "We can keep Dialga occupied as long as necessary!" Cynthia, although upset at her Garchomp's injury, knew that Brock was right, and went right back to work trying to tend to the lake guardians. Their power would be needed to pacify Dialga and Palkia in order to send them back. She prayed that the boys handling Dialga would be fine.
She prayed that Dawn who was handling Palkia alone would be fine.
...
After another volley of attacks to inflict flinch, Dawn had made Palkia waste even more time. Looking over at where the boys were handling Dialga after she had heard Cynthia cry out for her Garchomp, Dawn saw it at Cynthia's Garchomp was slammed into a pillar near the top of said pillar, before falling down to the ground defeated.
Now Dawn was worried, as she was hoping that Cynthia's Garchomp would help the boys deal with Dialga, but instead it got knocked out in one hit. The reborn trainer didn't see what Dialga had hit Cynthia's Garchomp with, but she was willing to bet that it was Roar of Time, if it had knocked out Cynthia's strongest Pokémon in one hit like that. And Dialga looked far from finished when Dawn saw it face the boys who had lost the aid of the strongest Pokémon on their side.
"...Screw it, I'm doing it!" Dawn hissed under her breath. As Dawn took something out of her bag, she saw that Palkia had gotten over its flinching again. "Akiza and Nobunaga, both of you use Extrasensory!" Dawn called out as she ran around Palkia, "Leni, use Dark Pulse!" The three Pokémon fired their volley of flinch inflicting attacks at the legendary Pokémon again, once more scoring another flinch on Palkia.
With Palkia flinching again, Dawn carried out her emergency plan, hoping she won't get too much flak for doing it.

The boys fired another round of attacks on Dialga, who couldn't respond due to recoil from having used Roar of Time. "This is nuts!" Kenny yelled, "Dialga doesn't look close to going down, even with how it looked like we slammed it with a lot of super effective attacks!"
"What's worse," Brock said as he looked around at the negative energy distorting everything, "This chaos that Dialga and Palkia are causing by rampaging here looks fit to tear not just Sinnoh but all of the world asunder!"
"We just need to buy as much time as possible for Cynthia to revive and heal the lake guardians!" Ash called out. Looking up at Dialga as it got over the stun recoil from using Roar of Time, Ash went on, "We aren't even technically trying to-"
Ash stopped short when he and the other boys noticed that the chaotic energy flowing around the area, although it didn't dissipate fully, did significantly lessen. Dialga also took note of it as it was charging up another Roar of Time attack, stopping short in what it was doing as it looked confused by the lessened chaotic energy. The boys saw that Dialga, due to being distracted, was pacified for the time being, but they had no idea for how long.
As the boys stood before the legendary Pokémon, Cynthia came up to them, followed by the lake guardians. "...Dialga looks to have calmed down on its own," Cynthia remarked, "It must have taken note of the lessened chaotic energy flowing around here."
"Hopefully Dialga will be distracted enough for the lake guardians to send it and Palkia back," Ash said, "We need to-"
Ash was cut off when Mespirit spoke telepathically to everyone. "Dialga needs to be dealt with still, yes," Mespirit said telepathically, "But Palkia has been dealt with already."
Everyone looked surprised to hear from Mespirit's telepathic message that Dawn had somehow already dealt with Palkia. "She... she did it," Ash said, "Dawn had handled Palkia."
"She really is a talented trainer," Cynthia remarked, a small smile of amusement on her face as the lake guardians began using their powers to further pacify Dialga and send it back to its own realm. Dialga flew into the portal that was created above it, returning to its own realm. Upon Dialga's departure from the world everyone was in, the chaos that was happening all over Sinnoh came to an end, restoring peace to the region.
Later that afternoon, close to late evening as the sun was setting, everyone stood outside of the entrance to Spear Pillar. All of the captured members of Team Galactic were loaded into the back of a few prisoner transport vans, with Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Charon, and Cyrus all being loaded into the same van before it was closed up. With all of those arrests, Team Galactic had officially been taken down, wholly and for good.
The boys and Cynthia stood outside with Looker as they were met up by Professor Rowan and Gary, the latter of those two rushing Ash to hug him. "You had me worried, Ashy boy!" Gary said, clearly sincerely worried about Ash's well being, "Thank goodness that you're alright!"
Ash, although at first surprised by this treatment he's getting from his old rival Gary of all people, relaxed a bit and gave Gary a quick hug back before they broke apart from one another. "I'm glad to see that you're alright too, Gary," Ash replied, "I heard you got into some trouble over at Lake Valor."
"Yeah, it turns out that Team Galactic had sprung Pokémon Hunter J from prison to hire her for the job of capturing the lake guardians," Gary said.
Everyone looked worried by what Gary had just revealed, especially Azelf who was still floating near Ash and Kenny along with Mespirit and Uxie. "J had escaped?!" Brock exclaimed.
"...Yeah," Gary replied grimly, "Only for the flying ship she was in with some of her men after turning over the lake guardians to Team Galactic getting shot down by an attack that Mespirit and Uxie had launched in a last minute desperate attack against J. Just before I got here, I received word that the ship had surfaced and washed ashore over at Lake Valor. All but four of J's men had drowned while the ship had been submerged in the lake, and J herself plus her remaining men survived but had to be taken to the hospital for treatment."
The others looked grim at the news that Gary had just shared. "...At least J won't escape justice again," Rowan remarked, "But I fear that, due to having been without oxygen for a while since her ship had been submerged, she may have ended up suffering damage that will make her unable to comprehend the sentence she'll be given."
Looking over to where the Adamant and Lustrous Orbs were in a cushioned case, Gary said, "At least we can take the Adamant and Lustrous Orbs back to Celestic Town. I have no doubt at all that Professor Carolina will be happy to-"
Gary was cut off when everyone heard a loud roaring, making everyone jump out of alarm. Suddenly, to the shocked surprise of everyone, the legendary Pokémon Palkia came rushing over to where the case that the Adamant and Lustrous Orbs were being kept in was surrounded by a few researchers from the Historical Research Center over in Celestic Town. Looking down at the researchers, Palkia roared at them, as if it were demanding something.
"Palkia?!" Cynthia exclaimed in alarm as she prepared to send out a Pokémon to fight off Palkia, "I thought that Dawn had dealt with it! How is it that Palkia is here now?!"
Cynthia, the boys, and everyone else there stepped back as Palkia continued to roar in demand at the researchers, but everyone stopped short when they heard Dawn call out, "Tsukune, return!" To their surprise, everyone saw Dawn standing there after she had recalled Palkia. Looking closely, they saw that Dawn recalled Palkia to the Master Ball that she had been given a while ago, showing that she had used the ultimate model of pokéball to capture Palkia.
The boys stepped forward as soon as they regained their sense of selves. "Dawn..." Ash said in amazement, "...Did... did you actually catch Palkia?"
"...While we were fighting to pacify Dialga and Palkia," Dawn began to explain as the others gathered around, "I saw that things were looking dicy for you and the others, Ash, when Cynthia's Garchomp got taken out in one hit by Dialga. I was worried that things would get worse if Dialga and Palkia weren't stopped before Cynthia was able to treat the lake guardians."
Holding up the Master Ball she had used to catch Palkia, Dawn went on, "Luckily, I remembered that I had the Master Ball that I was given back in Celestic Town. I hoped it would work to catch Palkia to if anything make things easier. Turns out it did, but the effort my Pokémon and I gave to keep Palkia occupied had exhausted us. I'm sorry I wasn't able to immediately pitch in to help deal with Dialga."
Cynthia, after she had gotten over the shock of what Dawn had caught, calmed down and gave a gentle smile. "...You expect too much of yourself, Dawn. And your efforts to handle Palkia, as much of a surprise said efforts turned out to be, were more than sufficient to help save Sinnoh." Stepping forward, Cynthia went on, "And you having caught Palkia is actually quite the boon, as it'll help to advance research and study into the mythology of Sinnoh to lengths that wouldn't be possible."
"So..." Kenny said, "...It's not a bad thing that Dawn had caught Palkia?"
"With the actual Pokémon itself right there," Rowan began to explain, "We'll make leaps and bounds into research and study on the mythology of Sinnoh, learning more and at a quicker pace than what would have been possible otherwise." Turning to look at Dawn, Rowan said, "I trust that you'll take note on everything you do with Palkia, young lady."
Dawn nodded in confirmation. "I intend to." Turning to look at where the Adamant and Lustrous Orbs were being kept, Dawn asked, "Would any of you have any idea as to why Tsukune was roaring at the researchers guarding the Orbs?"
"My guess," Cynthia began, "Is that Palkia saw the Lustrous Orb, which is directly connected to it in mythology. It must have been demanding the return of its treasure." Carefully managing everything, Cynthia and the researchers removed the Lustrous Orb from the case as Dawn called Tsukune back out. Cynthia handed the Lustrous Orb over to Dawn, who then turned and handed it right over to her named Palkia, who promptly took its treasure back.
Tsukune roared skywards in elation as it got the Lustrous Orb back, with some of the others who were gathered cheering, seeing the potential to make leaps and bounds into research and study of the mythology of Sinnoh. Peace had been restored to Sinnoh, and the heroes had done more than what was expected of them.
For now, all that was left for the heroes to do was to continue on their journey to complete their quest to earn enough Sinnoh gym badges to enter the Sinnoh league conference. Ash, Dawn, and Kenny were all one badge each away from qualifying, which meant that their next destination was going to be Sunyshore City. After they were done there, they would be ready to battle in the league conference tournament.
They would give it their all there.

Here we see the conclusion of Team Galactic's shenanigans at Spear Pillar, with all of Team Galactic being arrested. As a side note, here both J and Cyrus were snagged, although in the anime they both have 'ultimate fate unknown' statuses.
Something else that's probably a point of contention; Dawn catching Palkia. That was mainly game logic in play there, and Dawn having Palkia will play important roles later on in the story, especially considering some battles that are planned. Anyway, the next chapter will see Dawn and Kenny having broken away from Ash and Brock again to do solo training on the road before getting over to Sunyshore City. It will be mostly filler, to be honest.
