While walking towards the cave's exit he noticed a drawing resembling his face, a hand was right in front of it holding up a paopu fruit. Sora smiled with pride and turned around to see a man in a brown hood staring at him. Sora yelped, moving back to cover the drawing.

"Hmph, one who knows nothing can understand nothing," the man stated, then disappeared into a black portal. Sora tried to catch the brown hooded figure, but tripped over a small rock. As the portal finished closing, Sora noticed a brown door behind where th black portal was.

"Huh? Was this always here? How did I not notice this before?" Sora exclaimed, visually shocked. He walked up to the door and moved his hand to open it. As he grabbed the handle, Sora heard a voice behind him.

"Sora…" the voice called out. Sora turned around to see that it was Kairi, who looked exhausted and was slightly leaning forward. Suddenly, a breeze of wind blew Kairi straight at Sora, Sora held out his hands out to catch her, but instead she phased right through him, disappearing.

"What?! Kairi!" Sora yelled as he was swept up by the wind and sent flying out of the cave.

When Sora landed safely on the beach, he noticed the sky had turned dark. The clouds were dark and it even looked like it would rain or lightning would strike. Suddenly in front of Sora, small little shadowy creatures, walking on all fours, started sprinting towards him. Sora stood up quickly pulling out a wooden sword, a gift from Riku when he had taught Sora how to protect himself.

Sora swung at the creature, but the sword phased through it. The teen yelped and started running away as more and more creatures began chasing after him. As he was running, Sora noticed a figure over by the paopu tree and started heading towards the direction of the tree.

Once reaching the paopu tree, he spotted Riku, who was cloaked below the waist in a mysterious dark aura.

"Riku!" Sora yelled. "What's going on?"

"The door has opened…" Riku said, turning away from Sora. "Now we can go to the outside world, Sora!"

"What are you saying? Riku…that doesn't look safe. Let's go find Kairi together."

"Once we step through we'll never be able to come back. There's no turning back now, this might be our only chance. I'm not afraid of the darkness!"

"Rikuuuuuuuuuu!" Sora yelled as Riku was engulfed by the darkness. Sora fell back as the shadowy monsters began approaching him.

Suddenly, a ray of bright light shined down and blinded Sora.

"Keyschlong…" a mysterious voice whispered.

The teen opened his eyes to see a ginormous black portal sucking up pieces of the island. He tried to get up, but his body could not move. Before he knew it he was sucked into the portal and caught a glimpse of a familiar looking gigantic shadowy monster raising his fist towards him. Sora, who passed out, was unaware that his body was fully engulfed by the black portal.

Author's Note: Finally finished this chapter! It's a bit longer than I anticipated it to be, but that just means I have a lot to write. Although personally, I think I did use a little bit too much from the KH1 script, I think I added a good amount of new stuff and changed others. I intended for disney castle to be part of this chapter, but this chapter is already I think too long, so I'll save it for the next.
