Title: Rewrite the Stars

Chapter 5

***The Next Day***

(Jason stops by Elizabeth and Franco's house to see the boys. Franco answers the door and offers a polite smile)

Franco: "Hi."

Jason: (nods) "I'm here to see the boys."

Franco: (nods) "They're upstairs." (shouts) "Cameron, Jake, Aiden! Come downstairs, please!"

(Once the boys are downstairs, Jason asks for privacy. Franco goes into the kitchen. What Jason doesn't know is Franco was secretly listening in on the conversation. Cameron sits on the armrest while Jake and Aiden sit on the couch)

Jason: (smiles) "How are my boys doing?"

Cameron: (smiles) "Good. I had fun at grandma's house, even if I played video games most of the time." (smirks) "Grandma tried to play it with me, but she wasn't very good."

(Jason laughs at Cameron's comment before speaking)

Jason: "Yeah, Monica's never been good at video games."

Jake: "Danny was fun to play with. I don't see him that much, though." (confused) "How come?" (bit nervously) "He does like us, doesn't he?"

Jason: (nods) "Yes, he likes you. I haven't heard any different from him."

Aiden: (grins) "When will we get to see grandma Monica again?"

(Jason was happy that Aiden expressed an interest in Monica)

Jason: "Whenever you want, son. You just let me know and I'll make it happen and I know your mom will, too."

(Cameron, Jake, and Aiden take turns giving their father a hug, which Jason appreciated. Jason hugged them right back. Franco and Jason make eye contact and Jason nods for Franco to come into the living room. Jason didn't trust Franco with anything. But he trusted Elizabeth. Since Elizabeth loved the asshole, Jason had to accept him. Doesn't mean he had to like it)

Jason: (unamused tone) "Thank you for letting me see my sons."

(Jason exits the house. Franco nods and smiles before shutting the door. He rolls his eyes as he speaks to himself)

Franco: "The joy of having you in our lives."

(Meanwhile, Elizabeth is just ending her shift at GH when Sam comes out of the elevator and goes up to her enemy. Elizabeth readjusted her purse on her shoulder when she spoke)

Liz: "Hello, Sam. What can I do for you?"

Sam: (nervously smiles) "Can we talk?"
