Pokémon: Sinnoh no Isekai

Chapter One-hundred and seven: Scorn in Sinnoh, part one

Dawn and Kenny, while resting up in the Sinnoh region between getting back from Hoenn and leaving for Unova, were given something of a sneak peak at the Unova region in the form of Trip, Ash's Unova rival from the anime in their past lives, showing up out of the blue. Rather than be lukewarm at best towards Ash, Trip here was clearly an Ash fanboy, declaring that Dawn had cheated Ash during the Lily of the Valley conference, and challenging her to a battle. Kenny was able to convince Trip to battle him instead, so now the two boys stood off against one another in an open field near Dawn's house in Twinleaf Town, with Dawn serving as the referee for the battle of the boys.

"Let's make this a three-on-three single style battle," Dawn said, "Substitutions are allowed. Last one with any of their allocated three Pokémon remaining wins." Throwing up a hand, Dawn yelled, "GO!"

Tossing up a pokéball, Kenny said, "Okay, Goofy! Let's make it cringe!"

Tossing up a pokéball as well, Trip called out, "Alright, Veda! Let's rock it!"

The first Pokémon that Kenny sent out was his Houndoom; that proved to be either a good choice on Kenny's part as Trip's first Pokémon turned out to be an Abomasnow. The lengths of tufts over the chest of Trip's Abomasnow indicated that it was female. "A female Abomasnow," Dawn thought, "And she's nicknamed Veda. Why is that striking me as familiar...?"

Pointing forward, Kenny called out, "Goofy, use Flamethrower!"

"Veda that's enough, get back!" Trip called out as he swapped his Pokémon out, "Alright, Mr. Popo! Let's rock it!" After the swap, Trip had a Magmortar out, who took Goofy's Flamethrower without trouble.

When the fires of Flamethrower ended, Kenny and Goofy saw that Trip had his Magmortar out. Looking right at them, Mr. Popo the Magmortar said, "Maaaaaaaaag..." in a tone that sent a mild shiver down the spines of Kenny and his named Houndoom.

As for Dawn, she was feeling more and more deja vu. "And now Trip's whipped out a Magmortar," Dawn thought, "One with the nickname Mr. Popo. ...No, it can't be..."

Gesturing forward, Trip called out, "Mr. Popo, use Clear Smog!"

"Goofy, return!" Kenny said as he swapped his Pokémon around, "Alright, Kermit! Let's make it cringe!" Taking the place of Goofy the Houndoom was Kermit the Politoed, who was smacked on the lower left side of his gut by Clear Smog. Pointing forward, Kenny ordered, "Kermit, use Surf!"

"Mr. Popo that's enough, get back!" Trip said as he swapped his named Magmortar out. Taking out a pokéball and looking at it, Trip tossed it up as he called out, "Alright, Myde! Let's rock it!" Coming out to receive Kermit's Surf attack was an Empoleon, who was hardly phased by Kermit's Surf.

Dawn was now putting pieces together in her head. "An Empoleon?" Dawn thought, "And it's nicknamed Myde? Okay, things are starting to clear up."

"Kermit, return!" Kenny said as he swapped his Pokémon around, "Okay, Roshi! Let's make it cringe!" After Kenny's named Torterra came out, Kenny pointed forward as he called out, "Roshi, use Ear-"

"Time out!" Dawn called out, cutting Kenny off and making him, Trip, and their respective Pokémon that they had out all turn to look at her, "Boys, recall your Pokémon." Curious, Kenny and Trip nonetheless did as Dawn instructed. After Roshi and Myde were recalled, Dawn walked right up to Trip, a serious look on her face. "...Trip, was it?" Dawn said, "I have a few questions for you."

Trip arched a wry eyebrow at Dawn. "Oh?" Trip replied, "And what are they?"

What Dawn was about to do was a gamble, but all the signs Trip showed during his on-hold battle with Kenny pointed in all the right directions. Even Trip's fanboying over Ash was a sign, given it came from Trip here. "...Does the name Don Barret hold any significance to you?" Dawn asked.

Trip's eyes widened instantly, which Dawn took as a yes. "...How about the name Piper Barret?" Dawn asked, drawing more of a surprised look out of Trip, "She's a girl I know quite well to be honest. She's very respectful towards Ash Ketchum, just like you are. Piper even once dressed up as a girl she heard of named Serena due to-"

Dawn was cut off when Trip, to Kenny's surprise, threw his arms around Dawn before crying into her right shoulder. Kenny walked over to where Trip was hugging Dawn while crying into her right shoulder. "...Umm," Kenny spoke up, "Will Trip and I continue our battle, or-"

"We're heading back inside my place, Kenny," Dawn replied. She turned her attention back to look at Trip, gently patted him on the back. "...We've got a lot to go over with Trip here, it would seem."

"You're Dawn's younger sister from her previous life as Don?"

Given that it was just the three of them at Dawn's house right now, Dawn and Kenny were free to divulge their status as persons who had Isekai'd to Trip, especially given that they've confirmed that Trip HIMSELF is someone from their previous lives who had Isekai'd into the world they now live in. In this case, it was Piper Barret, Don Barret's younger sister, who had Isekai'd as Trip.

Nodding a few times in the affirmative, Trip said, "Yeah, I'm Don's, or rather now Dawn's, younger sister. ...Or rather now, younger brother. Wait, I'm not sure who between Dawn and Trip is older." Growling in fustration, Trip said, "Why did I have to Isekai as Trip? Not only did I isekai as the wrong gender, but now I'm a person Ash hates!" Falling face first into the pillows on Dawn's bed (they were all talking in Dawn's room), Trip said, "Why couldn't I have Isekai'd as Serena instead? That would have been infinitely more awesome!"

As Trip proceeded to cry, Dawn said to Kenny, "Yeah, my younger sister was a member of her high school's anime club, consisting entirely of girls who all fangirl'd over anime. Also, whereas guys have anime waifus, girls have anime husbandos, and Piper's anime husbando is Ash."

Kenny had to snort back a laugh when Dawn told him that last bit. "Well you also Isekai'd as the wrong gender. You as the brother-sister can relate to your sister-brother."

Rolling her eyes, Dawn then walked over to where Trip was crying on her bed. "Yo Trip," Dawn said, "There's no need to sweat the details. I know all about being Isekai'd into the wrong gender. But I've learned to adjust."

"That's not what I'm crying about," Trip cried, "I'm crying about how I'm someone Ash will hate!"

"Did..." Dawn began, "...Did you ever meet Ash in person yet?"

Sniffling a bit, Trip answered, "...No..."

Smiling in response, Dawn replied, "Excellent. The reason for the animosity between Ash and Trip in the anime from our previous life was mainly due to bad first impressions and differing attitudes. You have a far more Ash-friendly attitude than the guy you had been reborn as, and I'm certain you will try to give a good first impression to Ash upon meeting him in person."

Kenny nodded in agreement. "Your brother-sister has a point, Trip. Just avoid being a douche and you'll be golden."

Trip sat up on Dawn's bed, sniffled a little bit more before settling down. "...Okay," Trip said, "Okay. Yeah, I'm nothing like the guy I was reborn as. Yeah, I'll be sure to pay Ash the respect that he-"

*KNOCK* *KNOCK* *KNOCK*

Trip was cut off when he and the others heard a knock on the front door downstairs. Curious, the three reborn trainers went downstairs, whereupon Dawn opened the door and saw that now she was getting a visit from Looker, who Dawn and Kenny had helped with dealing with Team Galactic. "I heard that a shipment of multiple outfits for the rank and file of those Team Aqua and Team Magma hooligans in Hoenn were sent to Kenny's residence here in Twinleaf Town," Looker said, "Remembering how he had claimed multiple copies of the outfit worn by Team Galactic rank and file, I figured that you two would be home in Sinnoh soon, Dawn and Kenny."

"Oh, it's you Looker!" Dawn said, "You need something?"

Looker nodded once in the affirmative. "Indeed. Can we talk about it? It's actually something of a security thing for Sinnoh."

Gesturing for Looker to follow her and the boys, Dawn asked, "Can we go it outside maybe? Kenny, Trip, and I need to feed our Pokémon, also Kenny and Trip need to apply some medicines to some of their Pokémon since they had a battle a short while ago."

Looker turned his attention to Trip, who Looker didn't see last time. "You must be Trip," Looker said.

"Yeppers," Trip replied with a nod, "The name's Trip Barley."

To the reborn trainers as a whole, Looker said, "Indeed. Anyway, let's take this outside." Dawn and the boys proceeded to follow Looker outside. They went to the same field where Kenny and Trip were previously battling, but instead of battling, there would be discussions and some relaxation.

A short while later, Dawn, Kenny, and Trip were talking to Looker while all of their Pokémon were eating, with Kenny and Trip having finished treating their Pokémons' injuries from their previous battle, albeit they were all just very mild boo-boos to be honest. Trip, in addition to having Myde, Veda, and Mr. Popo, also had an Electivire named Fourze, a Togekiss named Gypsy Danger, and a Luxray named Basara. While those six ate with Dawn's six and Kenny's six, the humans talked with one another about the concerns Looker was saying he hoped to bring up to Dawn's attention, given she's the Champion of Sinnoh.

"Team Scorn activity has been confirmed in the Sinnoh region?!"

Looker nodded in the affirmative to the surprised exclamation of Dawn, Kenny, and even Trip. "Yes," Looker said, "Although all that Team Scorn has done in Sinnoh so far was have its Captain Jack and his Captain's Assistant Crow steal the Adamant Orb from Princess Salvia's escort in her countrymens' return trip to Sinnoh."

"Kenny and I tangoed with Captain Jack and his Captain's Assistant Crow back when we journeyed through the Johto region," Dawn remarked, "If I recall correctly, they're part of Team Scorn's Katana Sector, led by Admin Brother."

"Question, Looker," Trip began, "What is this Princess Salvia chick doing with the Adamant Orb?"

Turning to regard Trip, Dawn explained, "Trip, the country that Princess Salvia runs has as its primary religion a faith that worships the legendary Pokémon Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina. Obviously due to having said religion as her country's primary religion, Princess Salvia was able to get a hold of the Adamant Orb, a relic that has a connection to Dialga."

Nodding in confirmation, Looker said, "Indeed. Princess Salvia indeed was able to get the Adamant Orb. She also has the Griseous Orb, said to be connected to the legendary Pokémon Giratina. But it was only the Adamant Orb that Team Scorn stole, despite both the Adamant and Griseous Orbs literally being kept right next to one another in the same case."

Dawn had some suspicions, so she decided to dig deeper. "...The machines and other dark technology taken from old Team Galactic owned facilities. Have they been disposed of yet?"

"...No," Looker said, "Team Scorn also stole what all was there, along with some journals regarding what Team Galactic had been up to in regards to summoning Dialga and Palkia. But those thefts occurred outside of Sinnoh, so I didn't think you'd care to-"

"I think that Team Scorn may be aiming to summon Dialga into our world."

Everyone stopped short when Dawn gave the theory that she had just come up with. "...The theft of the Adamant Orb," Dawn said, "The theft of all of the tech that Team Galactic had when trying to summon Dialga and Palkia the first time. Even those journals. I think that Team Scorn is gunning for Dialga here."

"Why would Team Scorn want to go after Dialga?" Looker asked, looking paling in the face at the prospect of a criminal organization like Team Scorn getting a hold of the legendary Pokémon Dialga.

Dawn gave a mildly bemused hum. "It's simple. Me and Kenny have countered loads of Team Scorn's efforts in Johto and Hoenn, and we've use Tsukune and Black against them. Tsukune and Black, Palkia and Giratina. Team Scorn probably thinks that having Dialga at their beck and call would let them fight me and Kenny on equal footing. I had similar thoughts when Kenny and I worried about Team Scorn potentially attacking the Weather Institute over in Hoenn, who collects data on, among other things, the super-ancient legendary Pokémon Groudon, Kyorge, and Rayquaza."

"...They want to be able to contend with you and Kenny equally..." Looker said, "...That would make sense for why they'd go after Dialga."

Standing up forcefully from where he sat, Trip said, "Like hell we can let Team Scorn capture Dialga! There's no way I'd let that stand!"

Looker nodded in agreement with Trip. "I think that's a point the entire world would agree with you on, young man," Looker said, "Well, the entire world aside from those Team Scorn villains, obviously."

Turning to look at Looker, Dawn asked, "Where is Princess Salvia now? We'd like to speak to her."

"Heh, funny that," Looker said, "I was sent here to hopefully collect you and Kenny so that I may escort you directly to Princess Salvia at the hotel in Oreburgh City that she's staying at."

"Oreburgh City?" Dawn said, looking mildly confused.

Looker nodded in confirmation. "Her highness got it that the local museum in Oreburgh City, despite how it normally doesn't have such exhibits, will be playing host to a Hisuian history exhibit that includes, among other things, the skeletal remains of an alpha-sized Pokémon. Princess Salvia wishes to visit and learn from the Hisuian history exhibit, given that bits related to the legends of Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina come from Hisuian history."

"...Just make sure the fossil revival team at the Oreburgh Museum doesn't try to see if they can revive a Pokémon from those skeletal remains," Dawn said dryly, knowing all too well what happened the last time such an event popped up.

With all that settled, the reborn trainers recalled all of their respective Pokémon before they asked Looker where their ride to Oreburgh City was located. Looker admitted that the car he drove to Twinleaf Town in broke down and was at a repair shop right now, so Dawn and Kenny resolved things by calling Tsukune and Black back out. Kenny had Looker join him on Black while Dawn had Trip join her on Tsukune. Together, the lot of them took off and soared right for Oreburgh City, where they were all expecting to meet some royalty.

Less than half an hour later, the group reached Oreburgh City, where Looker led them to the hotel that Princess Salvia was staying at, after Dawn and Kenny recalled their respective legendary dragons. Upon their group of four walking into the hotel, they were instantly spotted and waived down by Freesia, who they remembered as Princess Salvia's attendant of some sort.

"Thank goodness you've come, Champion Dawn," Freesia said, "Things have been worrisome ever since those horrible Team Scorn fellows stole the Adamant Orb, the artifact that by rights should go to Lord Dialga." Turning her attention to Trip, Freesia looked back to Dawn and said to her while pointing to Trip, "He's new."

"That's Trip, a friend me mine and Kenny's," Dawn said as she introduced Trip, "He's rolling with us now. Don't worry, he's a Pokémon trainer of skill and power comparable to me and Kenny."

Freesia nodded in understanding. "Very well. Anyway, let's go upstairs to Princess Salvia's room so we can meet with her." Dawn, the boys, and Looker allowed Freesia to lead the way up to meet with Princess Salvia, so as to discuss the matter of what's going on with Team Scorn's activities in the Sinnoh region.

...

"It certainly has been ages, Dawn and Kenny," Salvia greeted when the reborn trainers met up with Salvia, "And you've even brought a new friend along. Oh, how I wish that this had occurred under other circumstances."

Trip, folding his arms over his chest, said, "I got it that those Team Scorn jerks stole the Adamant Orb from you guys, which you somehow had gotten a hold of alongside the Griseous Or-"

"Oh!" Salvia interrupted, "That reminds me!" Turning to face Kenny, Salvia said, "Kenny, my people and I have the Griseous Orb right now. It was kept right next to the Adamant Orb, so it's nothing short of miraculous that it wasn't stolen by Team Scorn same as the Adamant Orb. Anyway, I would like to present the Griseous Orb to Lord Giratina at some point, preferably as soon as possible."

Kenny smirked a bit in amusement. "Heh, so Black will be getting its secret treasure back, huh? Sounds pretty sweet, if I do say so myself."

"Perhaps later," Dawn said, then went on after turning back to look at Salvia, "For now, we need to discuss the theory I came up with on what Team Scorn is aiming for ultimately in the Sinnoh region."

Looker, his expression grim, nodded once in agreement with Dawn. "Yes. The possibility that Team Scorn may be wanting to summon Dialga so that they can capture it."

The idea that one of the three lords their country worships being summoned and captured by villains like Team Scorn alarmed both Salvia and Freesia. "You think those villains aim to summon and capture Lord Dialga?" Freesia said, "Why?"

"Kenny and I have fought off Team Scorn multiple times in Johto and Hoenn," Dawn explained, "And they saw us use Tsukune and Black. Team Scorn probably thinks that they can attempt to stand toe to toe with me and Kenny if they catch Dialga."

Salvia paled at the thought of Dialga being captured and used for evil. "...It would be a grave insult to Lord Dialga if it were to be captured and used by Team Scorn, to help them carry out their evil deeds."

"What can we do?" Kenny asked.

Dawn, who had been thinking about it, said, "Well a big part of what Team Galactic did to get what all they needed when they summoned Dialga and Palkia at Spear Pillar was capture the Lake Guardians, Mesprit, Uxie, and Azelf, and collect from them the materials needed to make that Red Chain thing. Since Team Scorn has those journals that Looker mentioned, they ought to know how to do what Team Galactic did."

Shrugging, Trip said, "So we can just protect Mesprit, Uxie, and Azelf? Stand between them and Team Scorn in one overly complicated game of keep away?"

"It's a measure we can take to help ensure that Team Scorn will be stopped from summoning Dialga," Dawn said, "In fact, I think I may wanna try to use my authority as Sinnoh's Champion to order some help around to protect the lairs where Mesprit, Uxie, and Azelf respectively dwell."

"Would it also be possible also arrange some protection for the Hisuian exhibit at the Oreburgh Museum?" Salvia asked, "It's almost ready for opening, and I'm not the only one from my country wanting to see it."

Shrugging, Dawn replied, "The museum may also be a target, assuming Team Scorn knows about not just the Hisuian exhibit, but also how it has the skeletal remains of an alpha Pokémon. Back when Kenny and I were going through Kanto, two similar skeletal remains that were part of a similar Hisuian exhibit were used by the Pewter City Museum's fossil revival team because they wanted to see if they could be revived into Pokémon. It worked just as if fossils were used, resulting in the alpha Hisuian Arcanine that I caught, and the alpha Hisuian Liligant that Kenny caught."

"That's right," Kenny said, "Dawn and I have used Argent and Priestess against Team Scorn. They may want an alpha Hisuian Pokémon of their own, if only to sell on the black market for a cool payday."

"Then it's off to the Oreburgh Museum to scout for any possible Team Scorn shenanigans!" Kenny declared.

Stepping forward, Salvia said, "Give me a moment to change into a plain clothes disguise, then I'll join you." Salvia's tone and expression were brokering no quarter, making it clear that the princess was to be coming along on the trip as well.

Freesia instantly spoke up. "Your highness, no!" Freesia said in clear worry and concern, "Think of the danger!"

Gesturing to the reborn trainers, Salvia replied, "The danger you speak of ought to think about the danger that I'm bringing along." With no other arguments, Salvia was given time to change into a plain clothes disguise (to the amusement of the reborn trainers, Salvia decided to dress up in an exact recreation of the female Casual Style outfit from the BDSP games), then she was off with Dawn and the boys to go see what all might be going down at the Oreburgh Museum.

Although the Oreburgh Museum was closed to common visitors at the time Dawn and the others showed up, they were able to get in regardless when Dawn, using her authority as Sinnoh's Champion, explained that she and her party had reason to believe that Team Scorn might be going after something that's part of the exhibit on Hisui, thus they want to check things out for safety reasons. To the surprise of the reborn trainers and Salvia, not only did they meet local gym leader Roark inside of the museum as well (he was helping set the Hisuian exhibit up), but also Cynthia, the former Sinnoh Champion.

Cynthia no longer wore her iconic dark outfit, but rather a baggy light teal shirt under a white lab coat with the sleeves rolled up, tan baggy pants held up with a belt, sturdy black work shoes, and her hair for the most part was now bound in a single long ponytail held with a black scrunchy. She even lacked the ornaments that looked like Lucario aura sensors, although Cynthia's scrunchy did have the same color scheme. Cynthia also wore serious yet cute and stylish looking square framed glasses. All in all, the former Sinnoh Champion looked like a model researcher.

"Yeah, I'm in a way kind of sort of grateful Dawn defeated me and took my title," Cynthia remarked, "It gave me an excuse to step down from battling and go fully into my passion for researching the mythology of Sinnoh. I might even help with study in the mythologies of other regions."

"Well that would explain why you're here, Cynthia," Kenny said, "Hisui is basically Sinnoh before it got a face lift."

Cynthia chuckled in amusement at Kenny's comment. "This one guy living in Sunyshore City," Cynthia said, "Some Proprietor looking guy who's friends with Volkner and Flint, said the exact same thing. Word for word, in fact."

"Well he's a smart dude," Kenny replied.

Dawn turned to look at Roark. "I was told that the skeletal remains of an alpha Hisuian Pokémon is one of the things that will be on display in the Hisuian exhibit here at the Oreburgh Museum. It that true?"

Roark nodded in confirmation. "Yeah Dawn, that's true. I saw a label on the side of the crate that it's specifically the skeletal remains of an alpha Hisuian Goodra."

"Where is that crate right now?" Dawn asked.

Gesturing to Cynthia, Roark explained, "Cynthia who's been helping with setting up the exhibit as well can answer that for you."

"Oh, this one nice girl who's part of the fossil revival team working here at the Museum asked me to help her move that crate so that it was out of the way until the skeletal remains were ready to be set up," Cynthia replied.

Dawn, as well as Kenny, and even Trip to a lesser extent given he was told about it earlier, all went wide eyed in worry. "...A girl who's part of the fossil revival team working here at the museum asked you to help her with moving out of the way a crate containing the skeletal remains of an alpha Hisuian Goodra?" Dawn asked.

Nodding in confirmation, Cynthia replied, "Oh yes, she was such a sweet girl, too. Really cute as well if I do say so myself. She's got long silvery hair, fair if a bit pale skin, wine red eyes I believe, and she was dressed like all of the other members of the fossil revival team here." Cynthia took pause when she saw the looks she was getting from the reborn trainers, Dawn and Kenny especially so. "...Is there something wrong?"

"Cynthia, you just described the Captain's Assistant of a Captain in Team Scorn's Kunai Sector," Kenny said, "She clearly had tricked you into helping her carry out some sort of crazy scheme!"

The former Sinnoh Champion instantly looked surprised. "I was tricked by a member of Team Scorn? Ooh, I've heard of those villains, but I didn't think that the rumors of them being in Sinnoh were true!"

"Wait a minute," Roark began, "Why would Team Scorn trick Cynthia into helping them with the skeletal remains of the al-"

*CRASH*

"GOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Roark was cut off when he and everyone else heard a large crashing sound, followed by a Pokémon crying out loudly, coming from over a ways away. "That came from where the museum's fossil revival team works!" Roark said, "What's going o-"

Roark was cut off when a number of Team Scorn members, including Captain's Assistant Felecia who Cynthia identified as the girl she helped moved the crate for earlier, run away from where the fossil revival team worked. "Stop right there, you criminals!" Cynthia ordered, then added while pointing at Felecia, "Especially you, girl! I'll teach you for tricking me into helping with your evil schemes!"

"No time!" Felecia said in clear panic, "Gotta get away from here!"

Cracking his knuckles, Trip said, "Oh what, are you afraid that we'll kick your-"

"GOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Trip and the others turned to look in the direction that the cry came from. As such, they saw it when an alpha Hisuian Goodra, revived into modern times like a Pokémon revived from a fossil would be, stalk towards them. Felecia and the rest of Team Scorn that was at the museum all turned around and fled, with Felecia screaming, "I have no idea why Admins Ninja and Brother said that the fossil revival team here had to be tricked into reviving a Pokémon from the alpha Hisuian skeletal remains that were part of the exhibit here!" as she and her fellows all fled.

Turning to look in the direction Team Scorn fled in, Kenny said, "We need to go after Team Scorn!"

"We also need to protect Princess Salvia here!" Dawn pointed out, "I'm pretty sure it'd be bad for Sinnoh if a visiting royal is hurt while on Sinnoh soil!"

Pointing at the alpha Hisuian Goodra, Trip said, "What about that?!"

Gesturing to herself, Cynthia said, "I'll lead Roark after Team Scorn. Dawn, you should protect Princess Salvia, and I can't believe an actual royal is here right now. Kenny, you go outside the museum and keep others from getting inside." Turning to look at Trip, Cynthia asked, "What's your name again?"

"Trip," replied the girl to boy reborn trainer.

Nodding once, Cynthia said, "Alright, Trip. Think you can handle the alpha Hisuian Goodra?"

Trip smirked a bit, turned to face and approach the alpha Hisuian Goodra. "Leave it to me!"

The rest of the group broke off to take care of their roles, with Dawn and Salvia taking cover to watch Trip tango with the alpha Hisuian Goodra, meanwhile Kenny, Roark, and Cynthia ran out of the museum to handle their roles. Trip took up a pokéball holding one of his on-hand Pokémon, an amused smirk on his face, as he sent out his first Pokémon to confront the alpha Hisuian Goodra.

END, CHAPTER ONE-HUNDRED AND SEVEN

Author's notes;

Leaving off from the previous chapter, Kenny and Trip have their battle, but Dawn cancels it when, after seeing enough signs from Trip during the battle as well as realizing his fanboying towards Ash was also a sign, was able to confirm it that Trip is also a reborn trainer, being Dawn's younger sister Piper from their previous lives where Dawn was Don. After some heartfelt reunion stuff and a little bit of comic relief, Dawn, Kenny, and Trip are visited by Looker, who tells them that Team Scorn now is up to no good in Sinnoh. Dawn, from the clues she gets from Looker, theorizes that Team Scorn aims to summon and capture Dialga, so as to counter how Dawn and Kenny have Palkia and Giratina respectively.

The group then has to zoom over to Oreburgh City, where the reborn trainers encounter Princess Salvia at a hotel as she's visiting Oreburgh City to see the Hisuian exhibit that is being set up in the museum there. Going to the museum, the reborn trainers and Salvia encounter Roark and Cynthia, who are helping with setting up the exhibit. But things get turned on their heads when Team Scorn's able to pull off tricking the museum's fossil revival team to use their tech to revive an alpha Hisuian Goodra from the skeletal remains that were part of the exhibit. The group had to split to protect Salvia, keep others from going into the museum, go after the fleeing Team Scorn members, and deal with the alpha Hisuian Goodra. Yeah, I knew well ahead of time this part of the story was going to take multiple chapters.
