Episode 57: Where the Dominos Stand
We have a look in Domino City where Cassidy, Butch, and several Team Rocket grunts sat across five men each wearing a business suit.
One of them is a fair skinned old man with gray hair, who is partially bald, likely his hair fell out due to old age. He is short, fat and carries a cane. He wore a double-breasted tan suit.
Another is a man who has black hair, black eyes and a mustache. He is fairly short and is at least middle-aged He has furled eyebrows, giving him a Middle Eastern look. Crump is fair skinned. He wore a double breasted suit.
The third man is tall, he wore glasses and has dark hair. He wore a blue business suit.
The fourth man is tall and has brown hair. His business suit is black.
The fifth man is tall and has brown hair, brown mustache and beard and dark skin. His business suit is purple.
"Gentlemen," Cassidy said.
"We trust you have everything ready?" The first man asked.
"We are beginning our operation right here in Domino City," Butch said.
"Indeed. We frame Seto Kaiba for the crime of Pokémon trafficking. Everyone will believe that he is a secret member of Team Rocket," the fourth man said.
"And when Kaiba is in prison, Kaiba Corp will be under our control, right through Giovanni," the fifth man said.
"That's the plan," Butch said. "What says you, Mr. Gansley?"
"Johnson will be acting as the defense attorney and purposely lose the case, while Crump will do the math. Nezbitt, Leichter, and myself will place a few bribes for the jury to guarantee his guilt," Gansley said.
Over to Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Togepi, they are joined by Todd for a little while. Todd takes pictures of Sora and Kairi doing some training.
"Good work, guys," Sora said. He took out the Upgrade and held it in front of Porygon. "So, how would you like this?" Porygon took the Upgrade and started to evolve. Porygon has become a Porygon2. "Hey, you evolved." He took out his Pokédex and scanned it with it.

Porygon2 was created by humans using the power of science. This man-made Pokémon has been endowed with artificial intelligence that enables it to learn gestures and emotions on its own.
"Porygon2," Kairi said.
"Vee," Angel said.
"Toge," Togepi chirped.
"Wow, I have never seen a Pokémon like this one," Todd said. He aimed his camera at the newly evolved Porygon2. "Smile!" Todd snapped the picture.
A couple of days have passed. Along the way, they arrived in Domino City. Upon arriving, they came across what looks like a line forming.
"Wonder what's going on," Kairi said.
"That would be the new breeding center that opened up," a voice said. The three kids turned to see a short boy with violet eyes and a child-like face and has extremely extravagant hair features multiple layers including long blond crooked, pointy locks for his fringe; the rest features a set of five large spikes and two smaller spikes colored black with a magenta sheen along the edges. He wore a uniform with a black sleeveless shirt under the blue coat and blue pants to go with it. He also wore black shoes and wore a gold upside down pyramid with an eye symbol on the center.
"It opened up just a few days ago. Trainers started to come here to drop off their Pokémon to help raise them up."
"Huh," Sora said, placing his hands on his head. "Must be a popular place if they're drawing in this big crowd."
"It is. What brings you here?" The short boy asked.
"Just passing by," Kairi said.
"You're thinking of dropping off your Pokémon, are you?" The short boy asked.
"No. We do our training," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Come, Trainers! Leave your Pokémon with us," Butch said.
"We can treat them with utmost care!" Cassidy added.
Over to Jessie and James, they spied on the line of Trainers in Domino City.
"Look at all those Trainers down there," Meowth said. "At least one or two of them has to have a rare Pokémon or two."
"Yeah. We can give them right to the boss, and he has to recognize us!" Jessie said.
"And give us the promotion we rightfully deserve!" James added. James remembered the Weepinbell he left in the breeding center when it first opened.
Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and Todd went with the boy to the local park. They met up with three other teenagers.
One of them is a girl taller than the boy and she has brown hair and blue eyes. She wore a yellow shirt, which flows like a skirt at her thighs, with a pink waistcoat over it, and a blue miniskirt. A pair of brown knee-high boots completed the rest of her outfit.
Another is a teenage boy has a sporadic blonde hairstyle and brown eyes. He wore a long green open jacket with a raised collar, a white T-shirt underneath and blue jeans.
Another is a teenage boy that has brown hair that is arranged such that a large portion spikes out from the front of his head. He wore a long brown coat with a raised collar, a white buttoned shirt underneath and black jeans.
"Yugi!" The girl called out.
"Glad you can join us, pal," the blonde said. He noticed the three kids and the Pokémon with him. "Who are they?"
"Um, hi. I'm Sora," Sora introduced himself. "And this is Pikachu."
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
"My name's Kairi," Kairi introduced herself. "This is Angel, and this is Togepi."
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Togepi," Togepi chirped.
"I'm Todd Snap. I'm a Pokémon photographer," Todd introduced himself.
"My name's Yugi Muto," Yugi introduced himself.
"Joey Wheeler," Joey introduced himself.
"I'm Téa Gardner," Téa introduced herself.
"I'm Tristan Taylor," Tristan introduced himself.
"What brings you three over here?"Joey asked.
"Kairi and I are doing some training before we head for Cinnabar Island. I'm going to be competing in the Pokémon League coming up," Sora said.
"Gym Badges?" Tristan asked.
"How many did ya win so far?" Téa asked.
"Six," Sora said, showing them the Gym Badges he won.
"Looks like you're well on your way, Sora. You only need to win two more Badges," Yugi said.
"Are you competing, too, Kairi?" Téa asked.
"No. I just came along for the ride," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped.
"I'm with them for a short time," Todd said.
"So, it's just Sora, huh," Yugi said. "You did well to earn six Gym Badges already."
"Thanks, Yugi," Sora said. Yugi smiled. Unknown to them, the woman is looking at Sora and Kairi through her binoculars. She lowered them.
"Hard to believe that they're the same kids who foiled Team Rocket's plans in Celadon City, Lavender Town, and Saffron City," the woman said. "It's like they know exactly where to go when Team Rocket shows up."
Meanwhile in the Seafoam Islands, a young woman is wandering the islands when a huge blizzard blasts her way. She saw a large bird-like figure. It lets out a loud cry as it flapped its wings. She gasped when she saw the bird.
"Articuno!" The young woman exclaimed with shock. She took out a Great Ball and threw it. "Ninetales! Go!" Her Pokéball opened and Nintales emerged from inside the Great Ball. "Ninetales! Use Fire Blast!" Ninetales fired Fire Blast toward Articuno, but the bird Pokémon, but Articuno fired another Blizzard, canceling fire attack. Articuno then began to glow and flew right at the Fox Pokémon, dealing some heavy damage. "Ninetales, no!" She gasped as the blizzard rages. The blizzard cleared, but Articuno has disappeared. "That was Articuno. I had it in my sights and it slipped through my fingers."
Back in Domino City, Sora and Yugi were getting into position for a battle.
"Let's make it a one-on-one match, Sora. What do you say?" Yugi suggested.
"I'm game, Yugi," Sora said. He looked over to Pikachu. "You're in, Pikachu."
"Chu," Pikachu said, stepping in. Yugi took out a Pokéball and he threw it.
"You're going right in, Raichu!" Yugi called out. His Pokéball opened and an Alolan Raichu emerged from inside. "Raichu! Begin with a Electro Ball!" Raichu forms a ball of electricity and hurls it right at Pikachu.
"Block it with your Iron Tail!" Sora ordered. Pikachu jumped and swung his tail. Raichu's Electro Ball goes flying and it explodes in the air. "Use Quick Attack!" Pikachu dashed right at the Alolan Raichu.
"Dodge and use your own Quick Attack!" Yugi ordered. The Alolan Raichu dodged with ease and came at Pikachu with Quick Attack.
"Quick Attack again!" Sora ordered. Pikachu ran towards Raichu and lands a hit. Raichu landed a hit onto Pikachu, too. "Use Thunderbolt!"
"Thunderbolt as well!" Yugi ordered.
Both Pikachu and Raichu unleashed their attacks and they held on, with one trying to overpower the other. They seemed to be evenly matched. The collided electric attacks resulted in an explosion between the two of them. The smoke cleared and Pikachu and Raichu are still standing.
"Not bad, Sora. The way you had your Pikachu use its Thunderbolt block my Raichu's Thunderbolt is very impressive," Yugi said.
"Right back at you," Sora said.
"That Pikachu is tough," Tristan said.
"I never thought a puny Pikachu could hold a candle against an Alolan Raichu," Joey said.
"You'd be surprised," Kairi said. "Sora was up against a Raichu before and he managed to take him down and win the Thunder Badge."
"Raichu! Use Psychic!" Yugi ordered. Raichu uses its telepathic powers to lift Pikachu up in the air, and move around. Raichu slammed Pikachu down on the ground. "Use Electro Ball!" Raichu forms a ball of electricity and hurls it at Pikachu again.
"Use Thunderbolt to block it!" Sora ordered. Pikachu unleashed Thunderbolt to block Electro Ball, sending it back at it. Raichu has taken a lot of damage. Yugi gasped in awe. "Use Quick Attack!"
"Use Psychic!" Yugi ordered. Raichu uses Psychic to lift Pikachu in the air again. "Use Thunderbolt!" Raichu unleashed Thunderbolt, hitting the Mouse Pokémon. Pikachu lands on his back. Pikachu tried to get back up on his feet, but fell on his stomach, beaten. Sora rushed over to Pikachu, taking him in his arms.
"You okay, Pikachu?" Sora asked.
"Pikachu," Pikachu replied, weakly. Sora took out a Sitrus Berry and fed it to Pikachu.
"Eat this. It'll make you better," Sora said. Sora walked up to Yugi and shook his hand. "That was a great battle, Yugi."
"Thanks, Sora. You battled hard, too," Yugi said. They both shook hands.
Over to international police hq, Looker is preparing to depart for Domino City to get to Team Rocket's operations and make the arrest according to his informant. He also got wind of crooked police in the ranks, so he wanted to make double sure.
He makes contact with his informant.
"Looker here," Looker said.
"I was about to make contact with you," the spy said.
"What do you have to report?" Looker asked.
"Seto Kaiba's top executives, the Big Five are working with Team Rocket. They're planning on framing Kaiba for trafficking Pokémon, making it seem that he's a secret member," the spy said.
"I see. Is there anything else that I should know about?" Looker asked.
"I did some digging and I made a startling discovery. It turns out that Gozaburo Kaiba was a secret member of Team Rocket prior to his death. I did a whole lot of digging," the spy said.
"I never would have guessed," Looker said. "Keep an eye on things. In the meantime, keep an eye on them and report their progress."
"Roger," the spy said, breaking contact.
Back in Domino City, the spy went back to her post and redress in her disguise. She heads back with the other grunts.
"Hey, what took you so long?" One of the male Team Rocket grunts asked.
"I had to stretch my legs," the spy said, acting her role. "What's the progress of our haul?"
"More than we shake a stick at," one of the female Team Rocket grunts said. "The boss will be pleased with us; especially that we're teamed up with Cassidy and Butch."
"Great," the spy said, smiling. She went inside and she texted Sora's number. Somehow, she managed to get hold of it and she selected his number.
Over to the park, Sora and Kairi were about to do some training when he heard his phone ringing.
"Huh?" Sora asked. "What's this?" He answered it. "Hello?"
"I can't tell you who I am, but I can tell you that the breeding center isn't what you think it is," the spy said.
"Who's this?" Sora asked.
"I'll repeat, I can't reveal my identity to you, but it's important that you get to the breeding center ASAP," the spy said.
"Why should we get to the breeding center?" Sora asked before the caller hung up. "Hello? Hello! Come on! Answer me!"
"Who was that, Sora?" Todd asked.
"Someone just said the breeding center isn't what it seems," Sora said. "It was a lady who called me."
"The breeding center isn't what it seems? What did she say?" Kairi asked.
"I don't know, but I think we should see for ourselves," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Right, Sora," Todd said.
"You can count us in," Yugi said. Téa, Joey, and Tristan nodded with agreement.
"I knew there was something fishy going on," Joey said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Todd, Yugi, Téa, Joey, Tristan, and the Pokémon made their way to the breeding center. Upon arriving, they saw the place was suspiciously closed. Luckily for them, the door wasn't locked, so they went inside.
"Nobody's here," Todd said.
"Okay, everyone. Quietly," Sora said. They came inside and looked around. "Nothing suspicious going around here."
"The back," Sora said, pointing to the back.
"I agree," Yugi said.
The group went to the back and they saw the Pokémon in cages. They were appalled by what they saw.
"Aw, man. Look at this. How could those guys do this?" Sora asked.
"Question is, who are they?" Tristan asked.
"Quiet. I hear something," Kairi said. They snuck to the source of the sound. They saw Cassidy and Butch. They have turned on the screen and spoke with Giovanni.
"Giovanni," Sora growled.
"Is the breeding center scheme going as planned?" Giovanni asked.
"Yes sir. Those Trainers don't suspect that the breeding center is a scam," Cassidy reported.
"The plan to frame Seto Kaiba for our crime is approaching fast," Butch added. Yugi didn't like how that came out.
"Excellent. Just be certain no one interferes with our plans; especially the children who has foiled our plan twice before," Giovanni said.
"Nobody will dare to challenge us once we get back on top," Butch said.
"After our failure in Saffron City, we cannot afford any mistakes. Send the Pokémon you have right to me, and I will choose from the ones I want for myself," Giovanni said.
"Yes sir," Cassidy and Butch said.
Sora, Kairi, Todd, Yugi, Téa, Joey, Tristan, and the Pokémon backed up.
"I knew it. They're from Team Rocket," Sora said.
"And they're gonna frame Kaiba for trafficking Pokémon. Kaiba is a jerk, but he's no crook," Joey said.
"We have to get the Pokémon out of these cages," Tristan said.
"Tristan's right. This is unforgivable," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Wait. How about we get the pictures to prove it?" Yugi said, pointing to Todd's camera.
"Yes. Good plan," Todd said.
"Just turn the flash off. We don't want them to see us," Sora said.
"Right," Todd said, turning off the flash. He took the incriminating pictures to guarantee Team Rocket's involvement. Just then, they heard the sound of the window opening.
"Someone's coming," Sora said.
They quickly hid only for Jessie, James, and Meowth coming down by window.
"The security here sucks eggs," Jessie said, laughing.
"All these Pokémon are just asking to be robbed by us," Meowth said, laughing.
"Everything is coming up roses for us!" James said.
"They're with Team Rocket too," Téa said.
"What do they think they're doing?" Joey asked.
"Stealing from their own buddies. Those three aren't too bright," Sora said.
"You know them?" Téa asked.
"Unfortunately yes. They're to steal my Pikachu from me," Sora said.
"And they tricked me into steal Pikachu for them; or they thought they I was going to," Todd said.
"Just by how they look, they make Joey seem smart," Tristan teased.
"Watch it," Joey said.
The Team Rocket trio tiptoed around the area, trying to think of which Pokémon would be the first to be taken from the so-called breeding center.
"I feel like a little girl in a candy store. I don't know which one I wanna start off with," Jessie said. James goes on ahead. "James, what are you doing?"
"I left my Weepinbell here the other day, so I just want to see him," James said. "Now, where are you?" He looked around for his Weepinbell, but he gave off a delightful scream, alerting Jessie and Meowth.
"You idiot! You trying to give us away?" Meowth asked.
"Look at this!" James said. They saw that his Weepinbell has now become a Victreebel. "My Weepinbell has become a strong and healthy-looking Victreebel!" He works to undo the lock on the cage when Victreebel took a chomp on his head. "No, don't eat my head! You don't know where that's been!"
"That's a new one on me," Sora said.
"What do we do now?" Todd asked.
"Todd, you go and head for the police and show them the pictures you took. We'll stay and deal with Team Rocket," Sora said.
"Okay," Todd said.
"We'll go with him," Yugi said.
Todd, Yugi, Téa, Joey, and Tristan takes off as Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Togepi stayed behind to deal with Team Rocket. The couple and their Pokémon gets behind the Team Rocket trio.
"Stop right there!" Sora called out. They turned to see the couple.
"You again!" Jessie exclaimed.
"What are you doing here, muscling in our business?" Meowth asked. Jessie chuckled.
"I seem to get it. They must have decided that their goody-good way wasn't doing anything for them, so they decided that a life of crime is the best way, and they were to start off with our score!" Jessie wrongfully deduced. "You think we're just gonna let you take one step over us, then you're dreaming!"
"You're the ones who are dreaming if you think we're sinking down to your level!" Kairi said.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
"We're not stealing them! This is a rescue mission!" Sora said.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
"A rescue that is about to be cut short," Cassidy spoke. The lights comes on to reveal Cassidy, Butch, and several Team Rocket grunts. She looked over to Jessie. Jessie looked at her with disgust. "Well, well, well. Look at what the Gengar dragged in. It's Jessie and James. The miserable failures."
"Cassidy," Jessie said with disgust.
"And Butch," James added with disgust.
"See you haven't changed much since the boss gave you that hot promotion," Jessie said.
"Sora, I have a feeling they don't like each other too much," Kairi said.
"Same here," Sora said.
"Just to fill you in, in case you didn't hear anything, the boss knows about you being in Saffron City," Cassidy said.
"Oh? And what did he have to say about us?" Jessie asked.
"He said that he's disappointed that you had to come along, and without permission no less!" Cassidy stated. "It was already insulting that he didn't hear about your progress, but worming your way in was over the line."
"He sure was mighty pissed off at the two of you," Butch said.
"Three!" Meowth corrected them. "I'm a part of this too!" Meowth said.
"Meowth, you should know he's bad-mouthing you, too," James said. Meowth winced when James pointed it out. Meowth then hung his head in defeat.
"Why do I even open my yap?" Meowth asked.
Meanwhile, Todd, Yugi, Téa, Joey, and Tristan ran down the streets of Domino City when they spotted a couple of police officers.
"Officers!" Téa called out. "Good thing we found you!"
"And why were you looking for us?" One of the police officers asked.
"We have incriminating pictures to show!" Todd said. "Team Rocket's in town, and they're setting up the phony breeding center to steal people's Pokémon!"
"How did you get these pictures?" The other police officer asked.
"I took them myself!" Todd said proudly.
"Let me see that camera please," the second police officer requested. Todd obliged him. They smirked to each other and nodded. "How about we head down to the station and we can sort this out?"
"Sure thing," Todd said. Just when they get inside the police car, they texted Cassidy and Butch, telling them that they have the photographer in their custody.
Meanwhile, Looker is driving in a police car, and he received a message. He opened it to reveal two police officers. It turns out to be the police officers that Todd, Yugi, Téa, Joey, and Tristan were just speaking to. He saw a police car with the exact two police officers. He knew they were going the wrong way. He got a good look at the number and it reads 627. He made contact with the police station.
"This is Looker of the international police. We have two rogue police officers! Keep an eye out for car number 627. Repeat: 627!" Looker announced.
Officer Jenny got the word and the car matching Looker's description went by her and she turned on her siren as she rode after the car.
"This is Officer Jenny. I'm in pursuit of car 627. I'm in pursuit right now," Officer Jenny said.
In the police car, the five kids rode in the back, but only four of them knew something was up.
"Hey, shouldn't we gotten to the station by now?" Joey asked.
"He's right. This doesn't look right," Yugi said. "Officer, when will we reach the police station?"
"Oh, we're not heading there," the second police officer said.
"We're heading somewhere where you won't be a problem," the first police officer said.
"What does that mean?" Todd asked.
"Wait. Are you with Team Rocket?" Téa asked.
"Maybe. Maybe not," the first police officer said. He locked the doors.
"Oh shit," Joey said.
"What do you think we should do with them?" The first police officer asked.
"I'll think of something," the second police officer said.
The first police officer looked in the rear view mirror.
"Hey, don't look now, but we're being tailed," the first police officer said.
The second officer looked in the mirror and let out a loud scream.
"Shit! It's Jenny!" The second police officer exclaimed. "That do-good cop will ruin everything!" Dozens of police cars blocks their escape. Looker steps out of one. He walks over to the police car and opened it up.
"Step out of the vehicle," Looker said.
"Um, we're not at liberty to do so, but-" the second police officer said before he was cut off.
"Now!" Looker demanded. The doors slammed opened. It was an Alakazam using its psychic powers to open them. Todd, Yugi, Téa, Joey, and Tristan got out. The corrupt police officers were forced out with Alakazam's Psychic. He walked up to them. "You two are under arrest for conspirating with Team Rocket. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will appointed to you. Do you understand these rights as I read them to you?"
"We're fellow police officers!" The first police officer exclaimed.
"Who is a secret member of Team Rocket," Looker said. He walked up to Todd, Yugi, Téa, Joey, and Tristan as they got out. "You five okay?"
"Just fine thanks to you," Todd said.
"How did you end up with those two?" Looker asked.
"We were supposed to head to the police station, because I have the proof that the breeding center is a sham!" Todd said. Looker took the camera and he looked through the gallery on the camera.
"Where is this breeding center?" Looker asked.
"We can take you there," Officer Jenny said.
Back at the breeding center, the Team Rocket grunts unleashed their Pokémon to attack.
"Glaceon! Ice Beam! Leafeon! Use Energy Ball!" Kairi ordered. Glaceon and Leafeon fired their chosen attacks at the Zubat, Golbat, and Crobat. The Team Rocket grunts were beaten. Glaceon froze all the grunts, except for the spy who got out of the way in time.
"Good work, Kairi!" Sora praised his girlfriend.
"Thanks, Sora," Kairi said.
"Looks like we'll have to teach you some manners, you little delinquents!" Cassidy said, taking out a Pokéball. She threw it. "Raticate! Go!" Her Pokéball opened and her Raticate emerged from inside. Raticate snarled. Butch took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Primeape! Go!" Butch called out and his Primeape came out to battle. Sora took out two of his Pokéballs and threw them.
"Go! Dragonair and Lickitung!" Sora called out. Dragonair and Lickitung emerged from inside their Pokéballs.
"Raticate! Use Super Fang on Dragonair!" Cassidy ordered.
"Primeape! Use Thrash on Lickitung!" Butch ordered.
Raticate and Primeape came rushing at Dragonair and Lickitung.
"Dragonair! Use Dragon Breath on Raticate! Lickitung! Use Lick on Primeape!" Sora ordered. Dragonair fired Dragon Breath on Raticate and Lickiting licked Primeape in the face.
"Dynamic Punch!" Butch ordered. Primeape lands a punch onto Dragonair and Lickitung. "Dynamic Punch again, but on Leafeon and Glaceon this time!" Primeape lands another punch onto Glaceon and Leafeon.
"Lickitung, Dragonair," Sora said.
"Glaceon, Leafeon," Kairi said.
"They're really giving it to them," James said.
"Hey, why are we praising those two? They're our enemies!" Meowth said.
"Meowth's right. There's no way in hell we're going to let them show us up!" Jessie said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Arbok!" Her Pokéball opened and Arbok emerged from inside.
"Cha-bok!" Arbok hissed.
"Right! Victreebel! Join in!" James ordered, pointing his finger forward. Victreebel screeches as it chomps on James's head again. "Chomp them! Not me!"
"Arbok! Use Crunch!" Jessie ordered. Arbok lunges at the couple's Pokémon.
"Victreebel! Use Vine Whip!" James ordered. Victreebel extends his vine and sends it at them.
"Lickitung! Use your tongue!" Sora ordered. Lickitung uses his tongue to grab Victreebel's vine. "Swing Victreebel at Arbok!" Lickitung moves his tongue and smacks the Cobra Pokémon.
"Arbok! Use Wrap!" Jessie ordered.
"Raticate! Skull Bash!" Cassidy ordered. Raticate launches itself at its opponents as Arbok heads right towards them as well.
"Lickitung! Use Headbutt!" Sora ordered. Lickitung lands a Headbutt right at Raticate. The Mouse Pokémon collides with Arbok and wraps around it.
"Cassidy, you get your Raticate out of my Arbok's way!" Jessie hissed.
"It was your stupid Arbok that got in the way! If you just butt out, I wouldn't be having this problem!" Cassidy argued.
"Primeape! Use Thrash!" Butch ordered.
"Victreebel! Use Leaf Blade!" James ordered.
Primeape and Victreebel came at the opposing Pokémon.
"Dragonair! Use Twister!" Sora ordered. Dragonair forms a tornado and sends it right at the Team Rocket Pokémon, sending them back.
"You battle just like you handle your Victreebel!" Butch yelled.
"Your Primeape got in the way!" James yelled.
"You were right, Kairi. They don't like each other. Not like we do," Sora said.
"How about we wrap this up?" Kairi suggested.
"Good idea, Kairi. Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered. Pikachu fired Thunderbolt right at Team Rocket and their Pokémon, shocking them.
"Glaceon! Ice Beam!" Kairi ordered. Glaceon fired Ice Beam and froze them all. "There!"
"Now to save the captive Pokémon," Sora said. The couple summoned their Keyblades. "Ready, Kairi?"
"Ready, Sora," Kairi said.
Sora and Kairi aimed their Keyblades and they unlocked the locks, letting the Pokémon out. Todd, Yugi, Téa, Joey, Tristan, and the police arrived on the scene as Sora and Kairi dismissed their Keyblades.
"What did we miss?" Joey asked.
"Not much. But the best part's coming up," Sora said.
"It looks like you have an act to show up at the most convenient time," Looker said.
"You'd be surprised," Sora and Kairi both said at once.
Looker and the local police arrested Team Rocket, while still frozen solid.
A little later, Looker and a handful of police officers arrived at the Kaiba Corp building, and they went up the top floor of the building.
With the Big Five is a young man wearing long trenchcoat with a black turtleneck and matching pants and dons a steel wristbands in both of his wrist. With him is a younger boy with tan skin with grayish-purple eyes and long black hair. He is wearinga green blue-striped shirt with a yellow vest over it, dark blue jeans, and blue sneakers.
"I hope you'd excuse the interruption, Mr. Kaiba," Looker said.
"You better have a good reason to come barging in my office like this!" Kaiba said.
"I'll be glad to explain, Mr. Kaiba. I have a warrant for the five gentlemen in this room," Looker said.
"Warrant?" Gansley asked.
"Whatever it is, it's absolutely preposterous!" Leichter exclaimed.
"Not as preposterous as you think," Looker said. "Officers, if you'd please." The police officers handcuffed each one of the Big Five.
"How dare you!" Gansley said.
"We will make it our mission to see to it that you never work in the Kanto region again," Johnson said.
"Good luck with that, sir. You five are all under arrest for conspirating with Team Rocket and attempted hindering of prosecution," Looker said.
"Team Rocket?" The boy asked.
"What is the meaning of this?" Kaiba asked.
"I apologize for having you find out like this. The Big Five were plotting against you, planning to frame you for trafficking Pokémon and linking you with Team Rocket, making you seem that you're a secret member, when they're secret members themselves," Looker said.
"What?" Kaiba asked.
"Don't listen to them, Mr. Kaiba!" Nezbitt exclaimed.
"Well, I have the evidence that says otherwise. Take them away!" Looker ordered. The police officers started to escort the Big Five out of the building.
"The Big Five are members of Team Rocket and we didn't even know it!" The boy said.
"Your step-father was also a secret member, but I don't expect you to take my word for it," Looker said.
"Mokuba and I didn't know this," Kaiba said.
"Well, you know now," Looker said. "Good day."
Looker heads out the office.
Outside the building, cameras flashes as the Big Five are being mobbed by reporters. Nancy is among them, finding it hard to believe that five executives being arrested for such unforgivable crimes.
Sora, Kairi, Todd, and the Pokémon join Yugi, Téa, Joey, and Tristan in Yugi's house as they watch the arrest on TV.
"The members of the Big Five have been arrested today, and they're facing serious charges for the recent Team Rocket involvement," one of the newscasters said.
"Kaiba Corp's president, Seto Kaiba and his younger brother Mokuba Kaiba denies any involvement in the plot, but they will be testifying in the trial taking place," the other newscaster said.
"They got exactly what they deserved for this," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Yeah, but it's thanks to you that everyone who went in has their Pokémon back now," Yugi said.
"Yeah, and I can imagine the look on Giovanni's face when he's watching this right now," Sora said, almost chuckling.
Over to Team Rocket HQ, Giovanni is watching the news coverage on TV and he angrily slams his fist on his desk, spilling the tea on his desk. Persian is frightened and Matori is taken aback.
"Those children has to be involved, I know it," Giovanni said. "They are becoming more trouble than I was originally led to believe."
"I shall see to it that Cassidy and Butch are severly punished for this," Matori said.
"Fine. Have the bail ready for them," Giovanni said. Matori took her leave. Just after she left, a man wearing golden armor with purple and rose-colored robes that have four portions: two connected on each side, and a raised collar and extended striped "shoulders". His hair is blond (although the exact shade varies from golden blond to platinum) and spiked, with an extra-long ponytail, and purple ombre at the tip of the side bangs. His head is adorned with tiny colored jewels. He has four long golden purple-tipped spikes atop his head. Black and white stripes trace his ribs on his chestplate, and demonic looking faces embellish his waist and back. His gauntlets sport extended claws. He wore purple makeup and a purple and gold crown depicting a serpent. His boots have stiletto heels. He wore a transparent quartz-colored belt around his waist. "Come to gloat, old friend?"
"It would seem you're having trouble keeping things in your control; your past failures are proof of that," the man said.
"If you have come to give helpful advice, keep it to yourself, Mateus," Giovanni hissed.
"Your mother has failed to heed my advice, and it hardly seems surprising that you would do the same. If you are not careful of the darkness, you will meet your end by the hands of the Heartless, just like your mother," Mateus said. He disappeared as mysteriously as he appeared. Giovanni growled in frustration and stood up from his desk. He gave a chair a kick, scaring his Persian.
Back in Domino City, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, Togepi, and Todd said their goodbyes to their new friends and continued their journey. And that's when they came across a fork in the road.
"So, where will you be heading next?" Todd asked.
"Probably down to Fushia City to get to Cinnabar Island," Kairi said.
"Yeah. I'm feeling I'm almost ready to challenge the Gym Leader," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Toge, Toge," Togepi chirped.
"What about you, Todd?" Sora asked.
"I'm gonna continue taking pictures of wild Pokémon, that's what. Good luck in your Gym battle, Sora," Todd said.
"Good luck with your path, Todd," Sora said.
"We hope that you'll take lots of pictures, Todd," Kairi said.
"I plan on it," Todd said.
With that said, Todd took his leave of the couple. Preparations for Sora's seventh Gym battle was close at hand. How ready will Sora be? We will just have to wait and see as we go on.
